I’ve never been to an all inclusive before where everything costs extra - from fresh orange juice at breakfast to ice cream. It’s a real shame because the hotel has nice facilities but it’s ruined by the fact they’re trying to get more money out of you. The bar closes at 11pm and if you ask for more than two drinks (served in tiny glasses) the staff are often very rude to you. We’ve been to many all inclusive hotels and I’ve never experienced it before where the bar staff are so impolite. One barman slammed my mum’s drinks down because she asked for more than two. The food is ok but there’s often very large queues, which again we haven’t been used to at hotels of this standard. Sales people constantly go round the poolside trying to sell you trips and excursions, which is understandable but sometimes stops you from being able to relax. In the evening, the only area to sit and have a drink is by the entertainment, which is very loud. I think the hotel would benefit from opening another bar area or having the mini disco away from this main entertainment area. Due to these issues this hotel really doesn’t feel like a 4 star hotel. We’ve been to lots of similarly rated hotels (including other hotels in Egypt) and this is unfortunately the worst we’ve experienced in a while. If they improve their management and stop charging extra for everything this could be a great hotel!

Awesome Holiday

Almost all staff made every effort to make the holiday as good as possible. Management were fluent in 3 to 6 languages, customer service prioritized, friendly and accommodating. Food was good to excellent for every meal,. Facility, room and grounds were kept clean and neat, including beach, dock and pools. The coral reef is within easy reach for snorkelling even at beginner level. The immediate area was extremely healthy with a wide variety of colourful thriving aquatic life. It gave the impression of swimming in a giant aquarium.

Wonderful relaxing stay

Lovely relaxing 11 night stay, the staff at this hotel make so much difference, they seem genuinely happy in their work which shows. They are all so helpful and noting is too much trouble for them. There is a shuttle bus that runs from 8am to 11pm every 10-15 minutes between the Stella di Mare Beach Resort and the Stella Di Mare Gardens resort. The food was plentiful, and there was lots of choice in the main restaurant, I never struggled to find something to eat and I am a fussy eater. There is a beach bar that also serves fries, pizza, burgers, rolls sandwiches etc. There are 4 a' la carte restaurants that can be used twice each 7 night stay, which needs to be booked 1 day in advance. They include Indian, Chinese, Lebanese and Italian. We used the Indian twice and the Chinese, it made a ice change from the hustle and bustle of the main busy restaurant and the food was very hot and tasty. The rooms were spacious, had a free space and we had an added bonus of a partial sea view. They were cleaned every day to a good standard. There are numerous pools, some with the animation team encouraging people to join in with water volley ball, aerobics etc and on the beach they also played other actives such as volley ball. There was the usual low key evening entertainment, singers, acrobats and belly dancers. The Stella di mare is set on the beach and makadi bay is great for a beach break, you can also walk along the beach from adjoining hotels. Would return-brilliant!

Rooms were not clean, shower pressure not good so difficult to have a good shower. Food is good, plenty of choice and plenty to eat. Location on the beach is great but a little remote for main town

Everything was fantastic in this hotel Food specially desserts ,location,snorkeling area was fantastic,landscape,pools and wave pool also i like that they are so strict with anyone trying to swim with cotton clothes or Burkini ,the only thing i didn't like that most of the staff need more experience and to smile when they talking to any guest.

Reception staff was friendly. Food is excellent. The best all-inclusive I've ever been to. It needs more trees or shaded aread. Transportation to the airport is a bit pricy which discourges some from flying (flight tickets are expensive already). The beach is so nice ans and the animation team is doing a good job. Did not use the bathroom amenities. No bathrobes or slippers. No cotton buds or swabs. Everything in my room was functioning well: AC, TV, hot water, ...but the safe box did not work. I will definitely go back if I can find a reasonable flight ticket.

Outstanding hotel on the beach

Great experience, very kids friendly, amazing animation team, food was great and nobody got sick, rooms were nice, spacious and clean, very nice snorkling area, my family had lots of fun and for sure we will come again.

Attente extrêmement longue pour l’enregistrement, pas de wi-fi sans payer 35 € la semaine ou dix euros par jour c’était extrêmement cher le wi-fi dans le lobby et d’une qualité médiocre. Tous les gens sont là à attendre de pouvoir communiquer c’est dramatique d’en arriver là tout ce qui est du service en général, toujours à tendre la main. En attendant le pourvoire, ça finit par être agaçant, 10 15 fois par jour, c’est pénible.la propreté est moyenne des poubelles qui débordent des plages pas clean des bains de soleil tous défoncés Un spa avec des personnes qui se font rembourser car le service est déplorable Non merci plus jamais avec ce genre d’établissement On pensait passer le jour de l’an à Djerba, du coup on a réfléchi c’est non, on va prendre une autre destination

Over rated

The floor on the room was very dirty. We needed to ask wet cleaning after just arrived. Some of the public toilets near the beach was also agly condition. There is NO free Wifi on this Hotel. There was many choices on food itself, but not so taisty. Beach area was full of broken chairs.

A la carte Restaurants are not very good. The food is partly really gross and has nothing to do with the theme of the restaurant. The normal Andalus restaurant is very good compared.

Goede vakantieoord met lekker eten en zowel strand (met steiger) als grote zwembaden. Alleen het personeel aan de receptie en mini-golf (veel te duur, geen score blad of regels en in slecht staat) vielen ons tegen. Het is verder wel een “duits” hotel zoals op veel plaatsen in Hurgada. Er is een busje naar centrum van Hurgada voorzien welk ook vrij prijzig is maar vooral schandalig want je wordt niet in het centrum gedropt maar in de toeristenshops. En dit letterlijk te nemen want bij aankomst wordt je meteen in een winkel geduwd!

Das Hotel ist schon in die Jahre gekommen aber wird nach und nach saniert . Die Anlage ist sehr gepflegt . Das Personal und das Animationsteam sind super . Habe mich sehr Wohlgefühlt und konnte schön entspannen .

Seul bémol concernant la connexion internet. Sinon: espaces (plage, piscines, mer) paradisiaques, buffet incroyable de qualité et de variété, cocktails à volonté, chambre magnifique et propreté absolue.

Schöne Lage, Hotel etwas in die Jahre gekommen

Flug und Abhohlung hat geklappt. Check in wie so oft unmotievierte Mitarbeiter, die kaum Infos preisgeben. Wir hatten 2 Zimmer gebucht neben einander. Hat geklappt. Das andere Personal war immer bemüht und freundlich. Das Essen war sehr abwechselungsreich und gut. Man merkt, dass die Leitung nicht aus Europa kommt. Einiges war hat leicht kaputt, Liegen, leicht beschädigtes und immer zu wenig Geschirr, Kaffeemaschine und Klimaanlage fällt einmal am Tag aus, wird dann nach Aufforderung repariert, lose Türklinken. Der Ägypter lebt halt damit. Das Hotel war geschätzt zu 1/3 ausgelastet. Sonst alles sehr sauer. wir würden wieder kommen.

Første ferie med all inklusive, havde dog forventet en uge med fred og ro hvor vi bare skulle ligge ved poolen. Ved relaxing poolen ingen problemer, men på stranden eller den anden pool kom konstant folk som ville fortælle om spa, dykning mm. Selvom man allerede havde booket forsøgte de at overtale en til flere bookinger. Træls konstant at blive ‘kontaktet’. Stort udvalg at mad i buffeten, nye og spændende temaer hver dag

Service sehr freundlich und immer bemüht zu helfen

Die Anlage ist in einem guten Zustand, Es hat genügend Platz für alle (Aussenanlagen). Ausser wenn das Hotel fast voll belegt ist, kommen sie beim Frühstück so wie zum Abendessen an ihre grenzen. Es gibt in diesem Zeitraum leider ein starkes "Gedränge". Das Essen ist wirklich sehr gut und es hat reichlich viel Auswahl, da kommt wirklich jeder auf seine kosten.
