The room was comfortable and clean - everything we needed. Wish breakfast was open a little later especially on Holiday weeks. Went down with the kids at 9:45 to learn it closed at 9:30 :(

Stay Suite Hotels are always my go to now. Since my first experience they never disappoint. The staff is amazing! The rooms are spacious! The beds are comfy! They have longer hours for breakfast than most other places. Very convenient if you have little ones that have a hard time in the morning. This one had a BBQ that was open to guests for use. Very nice addition especially for us since my husband loves to cook outdoors. For any family traveling I would always recommend Stay Suites Hotels.

Wonderful

The hotel is nice, staff are super friendly, breakfast and dinner is pretty good; but it feels like a pet owner ONLY hotel. If you have pet allergies or do not the strong smell of animals, do not stay here. EVERY single room is pet friendly. My room smelled like dogs and cat pee. A dog had several “accidents” on the 3rd floor hallway and the smell was horrific. Even after staff shampooed it, the odor was still strong. Really unpleasant experience. Usually hotels have certain floors designated for pets but that is not the case here. I could not get my money back because I booked through a third party booking site. The allowing of pets in every room should be disclosed on all booking websites;however, it is not!

Excellent location... just a few hundred yards off of the major thoroughfare through Jacksonville, but because it is tucked back kind of behind some restaurants and a little bit of a business park, incredibly quiet yet right in the middle of several shopping options and restaurants just a couple of parking lots away!! MATISHA was a wonderful welcoming smile to the check-in ;-)

The staff's were so friendly and wonderful upon arrival. Amenities were awesone as well.

Super clean. Really nice lounge and eating area. Rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast was actually pretty good with variety. And the best surprise was the "social" every night during the week - not just appetizers, but you can basically have a meal...with free beer and wine! What a deal!

The proper is nice and clean. The only thing i didn't like is the couches were really hard.

Overall, very good. It would be nice to include bottled water for each guest upon check in.

Safe Quiet stay

My fiancé and I got the Queen suite and we loved it! Super clean, staff was very helpful and yummy breakfast! We definitely plan on coming back the next time we visit!

We enjoyed our Staybridge Suite with a kitchenette area. What we really enjoyed was that the bedroom/bathroom areas was separate from the living space. Furniture could have used updating but it was clean and functional.

Stayed for 2 nights. The hotel is beautifully decorated inside and out. The staff is very friendly and attentive. 24 hour desk service. Basketball court, pool, gym. Its close to all the major restaurants and shopping centers.

My first choice in Jacksonville always. Great service, very nice breakfast, ultra clean facility. Full marks!

The room and property were lovely. We enjoyed the fire pit in the back courtyard. Really enjoyed it.

Nice stay. Fridge and stove with dishwasher. Even plates. Breakfast options really great. Different items on different days. No housekeeping on wknds. U will need to request something if u wanted. I will definitely be staying there again

From check in to check out everything was great. All personnel that I encountered where pleasant and friendly.

We stayed here about 7 years ago and went out of our way to make sure we booked here again for our trip this year. You can tell how much care and pride has gone into maintaining the rooms and property to the highest standards. While the decor and fixtures havnt been updated much if at all since we've been, everything has a feel of just recently completing a major renovation because of how well it is maintained. The lobby and common areas are sharp but still have a cozy and warm atmosphere. Whether youre going for a long weekend as a couple or family, or an extended business trip this place is worth the minimal extra few dollars youll spend on your reservation compared to some of the local competitors. We had a handicap accessible room and while everything was accessible from a wheel chair position, the shower only had grab bars in the low/seated position and the tub itself was a regular basin. So if you are in a wheel chair full time, keep this in mind for transferring purposes, but if you have moderate mobility and use a combination of mobility aids, you may need to coordinate further with reception. 10/10 highly reccomend and we will always stay here when coming to the area.

Pleasantly surprised with the room. Nice size room for family. Kitchen and living room area. Also provided free reception in evening with free breakfast in the morning. Hotel felt safe and clean. Would recommend and would stay there again.

The personal touch by the staff is wonderful. We have stayed there several times before and when the staff like Curtis the manager or Natalie at the front desk that always make you feel welcome and at home .

A little disappointed

The only thing I would complain about is that they don’t provide a broom and dustpan at all in the hotel rooms. We brought our cat so we had to ask for one each and every time we need to sweep his litter that fell on the floor. Plus..the housekeeping for the second day of our stay had a broom that we borrowed, but no dustpan. And they couldn’t provide extra pillows for our stay when there’s 6 of us and two of us slept on the pullout couch. The best thing about the stay was the complimentary breakfast.

When we were there, not only did we have an amazing free, hot breakfast but they were also having a free, dinner. We had pizza and wings one night. The next night was lasagna! What a great bonus!

The staff were great, very personable and helpful and the accommodations are first rate. The evening social get together and food was wonderful as was the breakfast selections.

Staybridge is beautiful, I loved the decor, the design and amenities of the room, and the staff were so nice and friendly, especially Ashley and Maria!! Thanks Maria for helping me understand the billing. The breakfast was fine, being able to make your own waffle was a treat. I didn’t know about the military discount before we arrived, so that was a great surprise when we could get the stay reduced. Thank you, Brian. There were only a couple of cons, which were in the room. The beds and sleep sofa were hard and uncomfortable; this may be a dealbreaker. My husband and son complained about that. It could have been cleaner. I am very particular when it comes to a room’s cleanliness but overall it was okay.

The staff were awesome!! I informed the staff that my mother has Alzheimer’s. They immediately documented her name in the system.Then staff (Allison) took the time to introduce herself to my mother, to be able to recognize her. Marvin and the other kitchen staff was also super kind and helpful. They cleaned the tables immediately when asked. The room was a disappointment. There were dishes missing and the worse thing was having a regular toilet seat on an oblong toilet. That was gross!! I reported it to the front desk and they immediately had maintenance to come and make things right. I do appreciate them moving quickly to fix a problem.

This is by far the BEST hotel I've ever stayed at. I've never met more friendly people and the room was immaculate! There was a slight delay with my room being ready and the entire staff was on it. The management is the best there is! The social they had in the lobby was fantastic and the food was great. MARVIN is the absolute BEST!!! Talk about going above and beyond!! He was so happy and upbeat. You can tell he truly loves his job. Also...kept the wine comin which officially makes him my most favorite human in the world!! Anytime I come here, this will be the only place I stay.

The hotel and food was amazing!! The staff(Chiquita) was absolutely the rudest person I have ever encountered in my life. I stayed in room 239 and the people who stayed in 339, were the most inconsiderate folks ever. They ran around all night, which made it hard to sleep from the kids jumping around. Going forward, put people with kids on the bottom floor.

Don't use the microwave

I went to this area for my son's graduation from MCT at Camp Geiger. The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. Hotel was an easy ride to Camp Geiger. All my son wanted from home was my homemade sausage and peppers. I pre made everything at home for sandwiches. Was looking forward to bringing them to him for family day. When I used the microwave it started smoking so badly the fire department was called and we had to evacuate. Everything was ruined. We had to buy dinner on base which was Wendy's not a homemade meal. I asked that someone contact me regarding the status of my room and never got a call from the front desk. I called twice and got no answer. When we returned they said I could stay in the room or be moved to another. When we got back in the room the window that the fire department moved was not back in place. A cheap box fan was running and very loud and no one had come in to put things back in order. The room did have a residual smell but we were so tired we didn't want to have to move everything. My 87 year old mother has asthma and did have a sore throat and no one ever asked if we were ok. I didn't want to complain at the time but I feel I should have been offered a comp for that evening. There were 2 microwaves in the room. No signs on which one to use and it wasn't my fault that this occurred. I really feel someone should have called me back from the front desk after all of this.

Well worth it

Everything about the stay was excellent. The room was excellent and clean. For the most part quiet, i had a room next to the basketball court which was annoying in the afternoon. The breakfast had a great selection. The bed was very firm, i like my bed a little softer. I would definitely stay again. It'll probably b my go-to hotel when im in town.
