Excellent hotel with a very convenient access to the Underground (St James's Park). The staff was attentive and the housekeeping was very good. The restaurant was good and the breakfast buffet is reasonably priced (25 pounds).
Great place, friendly staff, good location
We stayed at st ermins for a night and it was wonderful. The place is stunning, the staff is great especially Shanoor from the front desk. He was so friendly and helpful. After a red eye from the US he helped us to quickly get into a room and answered all of our many questions. The location of the hotel is also great close to many of the sights, a tube station and bus stops allowing you to get on the double decker tourist buses.
We stayed 2 nights on our way to Iceland. It was truly wonderful! The beds were comfortable the food was good and it was centrally located. We would definitely come back!
Excellent guest services
It was quite ornate with old style decorations which gave a very nice elegance.
Spacious room. Great breakfast. Well located.
Great London Hotel
This hotel is beautiful. The staff is attentive and professional. The concierge was on top of every need, and the rooms were impeccable every day. Restaurant and room service met every need. We were there with 3 grandkids and they were treated like family.
Amazing!!
Very attentive staff and situated at a very convenient location yet hidden from busy streets.
Everyone was so great!
The room was a bit small for a 2 double bed. The A/C was very noise.
This hotel was just lovely and I would go back in a heartbeat. Great location around the corner from the tube, major attractions, and shopping. Excellent breakfast buffet, lovely evening dessert and tea options, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and quick response to issues and requests. Service in the breakfast area was particularly excellent - Ramos went above and beyond!
Beautiful hotel
Beautiful hotel within walking distance of so many attractions. Tea Service was awesome. Restaurant had a great menu.
Great stay
The staff were great. Everything we needed was done. Nice atmosphere. Interesting, historic building with comfortable rooms. Would recommend
Historical gem
We had an incredible stay. The room was much larger than I expected. Very clean and the staff was awesome. The history of the hotel was very interesting. The hotel staff gives the kids a Top Secret mission at check in. My son loved searching the hotel for the answers. Also, the location was fantastic. Super close to food options, the Tube, Buckingham Palace and Parliament (just to name a few). I would definitely stay here again.
Beautiful hotel with spacious, clean family rooms and friendly staff. Our visit was wonderful and we truly enjoyed our stay at St Ermin’s. I loved all the plants in front of the hotel.
This hotel was wonderful, the staff are very helpful. Situated right in the heart of everything.
Central location. Beautiful accommodation
Service and location
Fantastic Staff!!!!
Was an amazing trip and place to stay
Beautiful hotel, friendly staff. Highly recommend
The service was excellent as well as the accommodations. Excellent breakfast every day, as well as a cocktail reception with entertainment for the whole family in the late afternoon/early evening during the summer months. Thank you for the lovely family stay! We will be back.
Beautiful hotel clean and comfortable. Only complaint was the bathroom was noisy when flushing toilets. There was construction going on nearby and you could here that in the afternoon Great bar for drinks after dinner.
Great property
Hotel staff was very friendly and courteous. Special thanks for your staff member Daniela, she went over and above the normal to make our stay comfortabl.
Beautiful hotel and property. Good food in the restaurant. The staff on site was efficient and friendly. Very happy with our stay.
From the elegant design and modern amenities to the impeccable service, everything contributed to a memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.
Our hotel stay was outstanding in every way. The accommodations were comfortable, the common areas were spotless, and most importantly, the staff, especially your manager, Yash, provided first class service. The beautiful gardens, the impeccable decor, and the warm and welcoming service from your staff provided us with a unique and memorable experience.
The hotel was beautiful with lots of nice vegetation, also a very nice breakfast place and good staff.
Excellent location walkable to lots of sites like Buckingham Palace. In site restaurant is good and the staff was excellent. Only negative was the room was a bit small for 4 people with luggage.
Perfect!
We love this hotel! The staff is wonderful, the breakfast is great and they have a fun guest cocktail hour on the front porch of the hotel. The location is so convenient, very walkable!
One of our rooms had a painted window facing a dirty backyard, for $600 per night not exactly what you expect but overall a great hotel , great location , stayed here before and will stay again
The property was very pleasant and inviting. I would stay there again.
Beautiful property and wonderful location
The Hotel was well situated and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Love this hotel and have stayed many times. Room this time was small and bathroom way too small especially as it was termed an Executive Room
St Ermins is a great hotel with a very friendly staff. It is situated so close to the underground and to great parts of the city. Definitely coming back.
Great Location!
Absolutely beautiful Hotel! Family friendly place. Safe area. Clean, smells great! Staff were amazing. Rooms are fantastic. Very close and convenient location to Buckingham Palace, Shopping and all the happening places! Definitely will come back again!
Great everything!
Lovely & Charming
I stayed here for a few days to visit London before heading out for a cruise. Hotel was very charming and everything was comfortable. The amenities were nice! The lobby was a very cozy area to put your feet up in & socialize. The brunch/restaurant had a wonderful variety with all the foods very tasty. I loved seeing the beehive area. Service was spectacular. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location was perfect. My only beef was the teeny tiny bathroom where you could actually hardly turn around in. But everything else was lovely.
This hotel is a real Gem in every aspect: guest rooms, service, restaurant and bar, spectacular lobby, afternoon tea and open wine bar in the evenings. I highly recommend it to anyone with high expectations of a genuine quality stay in London.
We stayed in a "Family Room" with two double beds and 2 bathrooms. The room was pretty small, but lovely. It was so nice to have two bathrooms. The room was very clean, nice linens, big windows and nice view. The complimentary breakfast buffet was amazing. There is also a complementary happy hour in the courtyard. The common spaces were very nice and cozy. We loved the little gardens in the entrance. The staff was incredible - so friendly. The concierge helped me plan our days so beautifully. The location is unbeatable. Walk to Buckingham Palace, Westminister Abbey, and around the corner from an underground station. Highly recommend this hotel!
With a few exceptions, we were very happy w/ our stay at St. Ermins. The staff was exceptional - the front desk, the restaurant staff, the bellhops, etc. No matter the day, they were helpful and courteous. The hotel does show its age in some respects. Our first room had an annoying noise in the bathroom any time the water ran, whether it was the sink, toilet or shower. The staff was able to move us and were able to upgrade the room when I requested (it was not automatically offered) at an add’l cost (discounted). The 2nd room was spacious and clean. Only complaints, the floor squeaked in certain parts (which likely was annoying to those under us) and there was a constant sound in the room - sounded like water running through pipes. It was low enough to essentially be white noise when sleeping (though I prefer total quiet). The location is very convenient, just a block from the tube station. And close enough to many restaurants, shopping centers, and sites. Our breakfast was included and it was convenient to have that be available everyday. We would happily stay here again.
Loved the location, the hotel is gorgeous and stafff wonderful! Loved breakfast too!
Pros: everything! Nothing to complain about
Absolutely stellar service.
5 star service at a reasonable rate
LOVED our stay- I haven’t found this kind of hotel service here in the US unless I am paying $1000 or more per night. The location is excellent and their entrance is grand with its beautiful courtyard and garden. The breakfast buffet had plenty of tasty options and they went out of their way to offer some perks for us making it a treat to get back to our room after a day of sightseeing. The one negative is that the sofa bed mattress isn’t very comfortable. Other than that, we had an amazing 4 nights staying there.
Ideal location for Westminster attractions. Breakfast was delicious!! Beautiful hotel.
Lovely hotel perfect location great rooms some bar staff were not particularly friendly and didn't seem to want to be doing there job!
I would definitely stay at St. Ermin's again.
Travel With Family/Kids
St. Ermin’s hotel was wonderful from the moment we walked in. The service was impeccable and everyone always spoke kindly and were super helpful. We had a small issue with the air conditioning and they did everything they could to make it right. We booked the family room and the extra space made it so nice!! We will 100% stay here again if we are lucky enough to visit London!
It is an amazing, quaint hotel in a great part of town. I would recommend it to any and everyone.
Great location, wonderful service.
Great location and spacious room
Great location withinwalking dostance of most of rhe major sites. Our family room was comfortable and roomy enough for 5 adults to not feel cramped.
We loved staying at St Ermin’s Hotel! Would definitely would return!
The property was in a great location.
Wonderful resort and location. Friendly helpful staff. One bedroom suite was nice size. Great Buffet breakfast included.
Beautiful property. Room and bathroom on the small size.
Very nice and clean hotel. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.
Excellent Hotel!
We found the St Ermins Hotel to be an absolutely amazing hotel, we had such an excellent stay here. The staff were so welcoming on arrival and for the duration of our stay! We throughly enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere but with a high level of attention to details. We travelled with my 6 year old daughter and the activities the hotel provided for her made the stay in London so much more enjoyable. The location of the hotel was excellent for all the sights we planned to see. We would definitely recommend the St Ermin’s Hotel and we will be making a return trip.
Older property that has been refurbishment to a high standard. Exceptional service at every level. Had tv go down on Easter Friday and was replaced with a brand new unit within an hour. Excellent customer care!
Had a lovely experience here. The staff were all excellent, courteous and helpful.
Beautiful old building that has been tastefully modernised. Excellent location
Easter holiday with teens
2 minutes from St. James underground, 5 minutes from Victoria underground.. a quiet neighborhood so close to Buckingham Palace, parks & pubs. Hotel had activities each day from 5pm to 6pm for adults (free wine time) & kids (crafts or animal farm!). Hotel bar & restaurant was great for breakfast or to unwind at night
Great location quiet rooms friendly staff, the closeup mirror was missing in the bathroom , bathroom door kept getting stuck
We stayed at the hotel for a total of 7 nights. Staff are always professional, courteous, and most important-friendly. Desk and Concierge services were always spot on. Dining room service and food was impeccable, also a nice varied menu that never failed to impress. Special thanks to Rita for always meeting us with a smile and great conversation. The bar had an outstanding drink menu with creations by the bartenders that were superb. This was a nice touch and a welcome change to the regular bar cocktails. Kudos to Jude and Ricardo for never failing to provide an oustanding drink. Housekeeping and laundry services-couldn't be better. We left the do not disturb on the door one day so they wouldn't have to bother with the room, but on our return we were greeted by a staff who made sure we had all towels and necessary items, also offered a freshen up of the room. Turn down service with chocolates, nice touch. The location is great, St. James Station just around the corner and Victoria Station just a short walk. Great food options close by too. Walking distance to Buckingham Palace, St. James Park, The Mall, Westminster Abbey, London Eye, Parliament, and Big Ben. St. Ermins made my 12 year old grandson's first trip to Britain a huge success! Couldn't have asked for better and that's a big compliment coming from this Southern Yank' who knows what true hospitality is! Thanks again to you and your staff St. Ermin's!
The building is awesome. Great location and Great breakfast.
it is a gorgeous establishment- the room was very clean but just very cramped and dated. the same with the restroom. the staff was incredibly kind and helpful.
Room was very expensive for a tiny room. It smelled pretty awful from the cleaning products they use. Shower was way too low for a tall man. The breakfast buffet was very low caliber. Not much better than a Holiday Inn, eggs were in a single vat of scrambled (no other choices), croissants were dense and stodgy. Over all not fine hotel standard. Bar wasn’t bad. Good selection of scotch (get a double to be close to a normal pour). Foyer is nice but goes downhill fast after that starting with elevators. Overall wouldn’t recommend it for the price.
It was a beautiful property. Dorman, ready and available the minute we were walking up to the hotel. People were dressed exquisitely, and it just felt like a five star experience from walking in to checking out and everything in between.
Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
This hotel was perfect for our recent visit to London. I wasn't sure if the location was ideal but it turned out to be great. Easy walk thru the parks to various parts of London or a 2 min walk to the Tube St James station. Because of its location it was very quiet. The service at the hotel was exceptional. Yash at the front desk was great and Namid in the dining room was friendly and met our every request. I definitely recommend get the including breakfast. The food options were many, the coffee was hot and flowing and the staff was attentive.
We loved the family room, the location, the cleanliness and the history at this property.
Everything is Perfect
The hotel is exceptional. The staff is super friendly. The value is excellent t. The concierge were beyond spectacular The only tiny negative is the TV scenario is awful. Not a single sports channel to watch soccer or even highlights when going to bed
Great location! Beautiful historic hotel. Very nice tea. Our room was small and awkward but our sons room was great. We would definitely stay there again.
Our room, 615 had a thermostat problem, it was way too hot (stuck at 25 deg celsius/77 fahrenheit) and the temperature could not go down, we had to open the windows when we sleep or when we are in our rooms; hence we hear the street noise. They sent 2 people to fix the problem but was not able to do it; they did not offer to move us to another room. They only offered to put points on my marriott convoy account but never received the points either. I paid a hefty price for a sauna like room and i got sick because of it. My asthma acted up and i coughed so bad staying in this room.
Services, location and facility were excellent. No complimentary upgrade. Not aware of any VIP amenities. We were charged for the room upgrade.
This property is completely amazing, just like the staff. Enjoyed all the accommodations and the easy access to the train stations and walking distance to many of the key highlights. Had some minor issues that were addressed, and management took quick action! Will stay at St Ermins again, due to the best hospitality that we received! Make a stay here if reading this!!!
Beautiful hotel. Very clean and the staff was superb. Courteous, helpful, and kind. The hotel breakfast was outstanding. Our stay was excellent.
Fantastic experience! Highly recommend. Lovely location, helpful staff, charming rooms and decor. Would return any time!
St. Ermin’s is like a home away from home. The staff, doormen, reception, dining, and housekeeping, were friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The location is convenient to the St. James Park underground station and many restaurants and shopping options on Victoria. This is a lovely hotel that we highly recommend and will return to.
London at Christmas
Beautiful old hotel in very convenient location. Rooms are small but adequate. Linens very nice. Breakfast is a buffet but coffee service and a la carte options were very slow.
Absolutely lovely property tucked away in an extremely accessible part of London. Easily walk to many major sites or grab the tube steps away from the hotel.
Everything was perfect! One of the best properties I've ever stayed at!
Property is well kept and staff is pleasant and helpful
Great location, staff, and decor
Excellent location and superb staff
Very nice hotel and ventrskly located.
Stay in London
This is a beautiful hotel. The lobby is definitely something way beyond a nice hotel. The bathroom is tiny. It was a challenge to get in and out of the bathtub especially for an elderly. Breakfast buffet was nice. The pasties weren’t very good. The service of a couple of the servers was outstanding. The name of one of them is Tanjam. I forgot the name of the other. Those two gentlemen showed their passion in hospitality while the other servers were more just doing a job. My partner and I are quite sure that those two men will have successful achievements in their future.
Even though the outside is impressive as well as the lobby, the rooms are average. However, after staying there 15 years ago and totally enjoying the beautiful dining area, they now serve short hours in a tiny cafeteria on the main floor. If you miss those hours, there is absolutely no food served except room service. I had been looking forward to the gorgeous dining room and was exceptionally disappointed. Not worth it.
I’d definitely recommend it and stay there again
We had a very pleasant stay. The property is clean and well kept and the staff very attentive.
Very convenient to many historic sites (walking distance to Buckingham palace, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben, West end theatres, etc.). Also very convenient to public transportation (the tube, bus stop, etc). The hotel itself is very well kept. Everyday there was different entertainment and a happy hour which was quite fun and welcoming. Rooms are nice but very small which is typical for an old historic European hotel. All staff was very pleasant.
Very convenient location and great services.
Great location, lovely property with nice amenities and entertainment every night. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive. Wonderful experience.
The hotel is beautiful and centrally located. Transportation was easy accessible. The staff was very attentive. They offered drinks and canapés for guests at night. It was a great experience
This is a really great hotel and it's location makes it very accessible to everything.
