Best stay ever.

We were in town due to our son being the hospital. The hotel was located right around the corner from the hospital. This made it very convenient. From check in to breakfast to check out, the staff, service and amenities where excellent.

The heater in the room was loud but not enough to cause lack of sleep. Breakfast was a hot buffet wit sausage patties and scrambled eggs among other cold items. Would have liked more hot options.

Great personnel

My husband and I were greeted immediately. We asked for directions to the Wexner Medical Center and we were told that there was a shuttle available to get us there. The stress of getting us to an appointment on time was immediately lifted.

Inexpensive and nice

I was asleep in my room when someone came in my room around 7:00am trying to clean the bathroom while I was asleep they woke me up scared the crap outta me!!

Excellent location close to OSU Stadium. It's a brisk walk, but doable. Staff were incredible and accommodating. Room was tastefully decorated and comfortable. Will stay again!

Dirty socks found

Well overall it was an ok room. I was a fan of the spacious suite like rooms but the biggest turnoff was looking above the desk where there was a gap between the ceiling and top of desk and finding thick layer of dust and a pair of dirty socks! Whats worse was front desk offered nothing other than they will let house keeping know.

Nice stay at a good price

Pool was closed. Front desk and breakfast staff were friendly. Check-in and check-out were both smooth. Room was clean and comfortable.

Newly renovated. Pool was still being resurfaced during visit. Well-appointed. Great value.

Property was not clean and the bathroom was across from the bed with a barn door and provides no privacy.

It was wonderful. Just a little to hot in the hotel.

The shuttle did not run as advertised. And the pool was closed.

Chose this hotel because the hotels for the convention center were booked. It was a fairly quick Uber trip to/from this hotel to/from the convention center. This hotel was very clean and the staff were both very courteous and helpful. The room was more than adequate for my purpose. I appreciated that it had a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and free WiFi. The hotel offers a breakfast buffet, but I did not take advantage of it. The only negatives I saw were: 1.) The hotel charges $4 per night to park your car in their lot. 2.) A freight train operates in close proximity of the hotel and it is audible inside your room.

We appreciated that it was close to The James.

Associates were very friendly. We were able to check in early which is nice. Breakfast was good.

Clean

Very clean. Even the air filter was clean (my husband always checks that and we have never been in a hotel he hasn’t needed to wash the air filter in the bathtub.) The room was set up unusual, and it was nice. It had 2 bathrooms. One had a toilet and sink. The other had a shower and sink. For multiple people, this was convenient. The part I didn’t like was both bathrooms had a mirror on the inside of the door that looked like frosted glass on the outside. What I didn’t like about this was the light shined through if someone was in the bathroom when people were sleeping.

I would’ve given five stars with the condition of the property, but one of the elevators was out of order.

Good central location for travel to Columbus, including the medical center complex of OSU. Good room design and amenities for a variety of travel needs.

One of My Favorite Places to Stay in Columbus

One of my favorite budget-friendly places to stay when I'm in Columbus. I love the suites -- the sitting area that's separated from bed, the small nook with the microwave/mini-fridge/coffeemaker, the large desk area. The lobby is cheerful with lots of natural light, and the complimentary breakfast is great. Front desk folks are always super friendly. And since I'm usually in Columbus because of meetings at OSU, the location can't be beat!

Excellent very friendly Staff but rooms are pretty run down with dirty carpet/couches from wear and tear. Close to OSU medical campus and stadium. Does provide a breakfast but not much variety and weak coffee.

I stayed at this hotel due to its proximity to OSU hospitals so I could visit a sick friend. I trust the Marriott brand, and the hotel was also attractive since it offers a shuttle to the hospital area

Nice property and friendly and helpful staff

The shuttle bus and the location is why I’ve stayed at this hotel off and on for 5 years. Both my parents are patients at the James cancer hospital. The shuttle takes us there and back from the hotel.

This was a very clean hotel. Staff excellent from the front desk, shuttle driver, breakfast worker.

Adjacent to railway tracks

We loved our suite! Clea, comfortable bed. Suite design was well thought out! The staff was exceptional! Would highly recommend this place to family and friends, actually, already have! We will definitely return if we need to stay in Columbus again.

Clean spacious room

This is an excellent place to stay if you are going to OSU, particularly the hospitals. They even have a shuttle available that drops you at the hospital front door, which is awesome if you have issues walking from the parking or don’t want to utilize the valet. This is our second stay this year for this purpose, and the staff is excellent and very friendly.

Was very noisy all night with trains rolling thru all hours of the night & morning.refrig u had to hit button every 2 hours to keep it cold.room was very nice bed was comfortable.pillows weren't the greatest not comfortable for the head or neck.

We were in town for a college visit at OSU. The check-in front desk staff was very friendly and helpful with providing explanations on the facility's offerings including fitness center, pool, and breakfast. They offered recommendations on various places to eat and other places to go. Room was spacious and liked that the toilet and shower were in separate rooms. That allows 2 people to use the facilities for different reasons. There were even 2 separate sinks. As for comfort in the room...My pillow was very comfy, was able to adjust room temp to our liking, and TV could swivel to different areas in the rooms. Unfortunately, bed was not as comfortable as I had hoped. It was a bit too firm for me. Hotel was clean. Location was great. Parking and breakfast are free. Lots of food options close by as well as a couple gas stations. If you forget anything, there is a strip mall down the street that has a Target & Marshalls. Would def come here again and maybe the bed will be a bit more comfortable :-)

Loved the small courtyard. Perfect place to take my young granddaughter to burn off energy in a safe area.

The room was really nice. The location worked perfectly for why we were there. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable. The room was a little cold when we checked in, but that was it.

I had a short stay but staff was very friendly and facilities were very clean. Bed was comfy. Room was clean and spacious.

I enjoy the suite so we have a place to sit. The desk works nicely for working remote. Good internet and lots of dining options nearby. Liked having a bar each evening after a long day visiting patient at The James.

Doors slamming all hours of the night. Along with not getting no sleep due to loud noises coming from the heating system.

Favorite place when going to nationwide arena

I travel with teenage girls. We love to stay here for cheer comps and when attending concerts at nationwide arena. Plenty of room to get ready, to sleep, and great location. Staff has always been super friendly and expedient.

Not the worst but definitely not the best

The room was ok, very odd set up. Couch had white stains all over it, what looked like bodily fluid on curtains and wall behind bed. Bed and pillows uncomfortable. Must air conditioning smell. Had to pay for parking but still park at your own risk.

I like the cleanliness of the hotel, but it’s never clean enough for me. I never give 5 stars because there is always room for improvement.

Clean Beds, short and toilet. I love the fact that the toilet and shower are separate entities. Carpet is clean.

Good location. Hotel room was spacious. Hotel is a little long in the tooth, but they try really hard to keep it up. Bed was very comfortable Breakfast is fair. It’s a good value.

Love the hotel

Ice machine was out of service on the third floor. Happens every time I am out on three. It’s why I ask for the first floor. For the first fine the hallways were dirty. Hadn’t been vacuumed. But the front desk is awesome.

The location was great, surrounded by plenty of shops and restaurants. The room was ok but light bulbs were burnt out and there was no cold water while taking a shower, it was either warm or scalding hot.

We like that the hotel is close to the hospital.

Not the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. Things were broken in the room and beds uncomfortable.
