Great retreat!
We enjoyed our time here. Although small rooms all of us slept well and it was quiet. Location was great. We really enjoyed our stay.
Good quality vs price
no slippers. bad smell in the bathroom. but very convenient to everywhere.
Great property.
Good option in Mamhattan, closento the Empire State and the Garment District. But rooms way too small. They should advise if families of 4 want to stay there. The rooms are for a couple with a little kid at the most.
Excellent
Great hotel!
When we arrived to our hotel, we had an upgrade on our room and our room faced the Manhattan skyline. It was breath taking. The check in was fast and easy, the hotel was very clean, breakfast was good and well organized. Would definitely recommend this hotel and stay there in the future.
My family really enjoyed our stay at this property. The staff was very accommodating even when my mother was in a wheelchair..
average
Ok
Everyone was helpful and friendly, rooms were clean and comfortable. They really made the effort with the Christmas decorations- very special. Special mention to the breakfast seating manager- she was slick and organised- Thank you
The flower district
Good service.
Great experience!
Very good and reasonably priced hotel in a very convenient location, easy walk to Penn Station, PATH trains, multiple subway lines, Time Square, Chelsea, and much more. The view from the city view rooms are spectacular, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Lots of options at the complimentary breakfast.
Will come here again!
Lovely experience all around! Clean, affordable, professional.
Tout était parfait !!
We enjoyed 4 nights stay and had no issues at all! We were greeted by kind staff “Ashton” who was very welcoming and made sure to give us a room with a fantastic view for our first trip to NYC! The elevators were super fast and even being on the 44th floor we never waited long. The breakfast staff were all super kind and on point with organization! Hotel was in walking distance to everything we wanted to explore and we felt safe were ever we walked. The street literally comes to life during the day with beautiful plants and flowers up both sides it’s like you are in your own oasis. I would definitely recommend to others and I would stay here again.
The hotel was very clean and surprisingly quiet for being in the city. It was centrally located for everything we wanted to do as well
Beautiful and convenient room. Fine breakfast. However, my room was nearby a corridor and nice in a while there was a noise from there such that would woke me up again and agin. The coffee machine had a defect the boiled water could not transfer to the filter and the replacement had same defect. Staff was nice and proposed taking off 50 without me asking for that.
Great stay at this hotel! Clean rooms and many complimentary offers like coffee and tea, decent free breakfast options. The elevator wait can be a lot due to the amount of rooms and floors, but the stay her was nice - close to great shopping & restaurants.
Very nice place
it was located perfectly to FIT
Don’t bother with breakfast - huge queues to get in to eat and then pretty poor food choices. Not enough lifts for the size of property. Could be waiting 5 minutes or more to get a lift down from 34th floor. Don’t use the travel concierge desk in the lobby - ordered a taxi to airport and ended up sharing a minibus and having to pick up people on the way. Wasn’t told about this and journey to airport ended up taking 2 hours.
Long wait for elevator, no table for breakfast, very noisy AC
Perfect!!!
Great
Staff was very friendly and accommodating
The property and the room were clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Location is great, very close to Times Square and all tourist places were 15-25 min cab rides away. Uber was easily available right from the doorstep of the hotel, without having to walk to any corner or other pick up points. The breakfast options were good but felt like they could have more staff around especially during the busy times.
Pleasant stay
The room was so small. I understand it’s New York and space is limited but wow, I wasn’t expecting such a small space. Room was clean, breakfast was decent. Hotel staff was pleasant. Area was pleasant
The front desk staff and the baggage holders were very professional. The hotel was very clean and modern. I would definitely recommend staying here.
Area very accessible to everywhere
Breakfast on Sunday was a complete cluster. Too many people to serve, line 1 hr . We did nit eat at the hotel. Saturday was not much better. Definte opportunity to serve us better with breakfast
The stay was good, good location and the hotel is well organised and having the breakfast on site was a real bonus and it was adequate. The cost is an issue for me though but it was certainly in line with the other hotels in the area.
Was centra location from area I wanted to see. Got high floor with great view. Staff was helpful. I would recommend this hotel.
The rooms are very very very small….
James at the front desk is amazing! We needed to change rooms and were able to move from 1 room to another very easily with James's help! Please recognize him for his outstanding customer service!!!
Manhattan NY trip
The staff were friendly from the check in to the maintenance and kitchen staff. I would definitely stay here again. The free breakfast was excellent with lots of options. Hallways a bit small, but otherwise very nice and clean.
Enjoyed the property and staff
Excellent
Overall great location and excellent staff that is customer friendly.
Breakfast was disappointing with long line and not even wheat bread!
Thanks
The staff were wonderful. The furniture in the room was poorly arranged. There was barely room enough for a person sleeping on the right side of the bed to stand up. The night stands were either too bid or two small. For example on the right side of the bed there was a tiny round table. A small square one with a shelf or two above or below would have made more sense.
Well located in the flower district and easy walk to Times Square, Empire State Building. Rooms are very small but clean. Service was good as was breakfast.
excellent location staff very pleasant and helpful location in Manhattan notwithstanding, rooms were a bit small overall good stay
In the flower shop district
The hotel is in an amazing spot walkable to the majority of nearby cities super close to the subway station! The facility is clean, friendly staff, and breakfast is really good! The hotel is in an area known for flower shops so it is a busy area and always full of flowers. The rooms are a bit small but it is to be expected staying in NYC and the city view is amazing! The check-in and check-out process was super simple and they held the bags for you if needed. They also have a scale if you need to weigh your luggage before leaving.
I’m a Bonvoy member and always love Marriott’s room but was surprised how small are the rooms in this property!!! I’m not just use to smallest space from hallway to the rooms bathroom. The bed and linens still great!
Cute, great views, great free breakfast, professional and pleasant staff.
Stayed one night and it was good. Close to everything.
The shower room door was broken, so I always had a watery floor every time take a shower. The complimentary breakfast was terrible. The egg was cold. It was like just a local supermarket. However, there are so many good restaurants right in front of Hotel.
Amazing hotel with views and great location!
Amazing hotel with great views on higher floors, friendly staff and excellent location. The bathroom setup in the rooms is interesting (sliding door) but it is the best use of the space for the rooms, as the rooms aren't large by any stretch, but we found ours comfortable and cozy for the 2 of us. Breakfast was great as well with a decent selection everyday (selection varies from day to day) as well as suprising range of Gluten free options which was a pleasent surprise for one of us (being a celiac). Do note as other reviews mention, breakfast can get busy during peak hours, but we found arriving as early as possible each day worked better for us. Staff interactions were always friendly and helpful. There is the option to leave your bags with the hotel on checkout (free of charge) and they even can organise private transport (or shuttle) to local airports for what we deeemd a resonable rate (a little more expensive than a cab but we found it a much more friendly experience) Overall great stay and would seriously consider staying again for future visits!
The front staff was super nice . The only issue that I had was that our towels were not cleaned properly, because they had stains. But overall great stay
The manager was very accommodating with me and my family
Great stay! Looking forward to staying there in the near future.
Great hotel!
Amazing !!! All staff are very friendly, the hotel is clean and cozy, my room had a wonderful view, we will definitely be back soon!!!!
Nice hotel in the busy area
Very busy area, room was small but accommodated 4. Has microwave oven too.
I liked the kindness of the staff and views I didn´t like that at night surrounding area didn´t look very safe, although we did not have any problem
Had an excellent stay. Rochelle at the front desk was amazing! Room was in the 43rd floor with an amazing city view. Breakfast was great too. Will definitely be back again!!
There were roaches
Newer hotel with horrible AC issues
I booked 2 rooms. One through hotels.com and one through Marriott site. The room booked through hotels.com was a nightmare. We had to switch rooms two different times during our 3 night stay. Both were AC issues. Brian Night CSR was a jerk. I do appreciate Christy who tries to help us. The last day I spoke with the AGM and he gave me a refund for 1.5 nights and saa d he was also giving me 25,000 bonvoy points. I never got the points. They definitely treat you differently when you use their website over hotels.com.
The hotel was really clean, the receptionists were nice. Overall, we had a good stay.
NYC
Location is great for walking to local sights. It’s in the floral district so the smells in the morning are lovely! Service at check in was non existent- asked for ID and told me to insert my credit card were the only words spoken by Brian— but all other staff were so kind and helpful. Room/BR was small (as expected) but clean and had microwave and fridge, which was great! The gym was a plus as well.
Nice staff, great area but rooms were too small
Nice rooms in small space
Room was small, very tight walking space between bed and walls. Otherwise was very clean and needs were comfortable.
NYC on business
Good hotel. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Recently renovated. Avoid the rush hour in the morning. The elevator takes forever during the rush hour. Otherwise a good hotel
Hotel was average line for breakfast is unbelievable
Service was excellent
Great location and clean hotel!
It was very nice and staff were excellent.
The city view rooms were very nice.
Great spot with easy access
Good location and convenient but front desk staff not very friendly ,gave wrong info about parking availability and cost that did not match the final bill.
While it’s close to everything, 8th Avenue is a bit of a mess. Not the hotels issue. I would certainly stay there again.
Hotel staff helpful and friendly. Rooms very clean. Enjoyed the breakfast very much as convent for families with kids. Perfect location to everything. Thank you for the wonderful stay. Highly recommend!
Staff were wonderful. Clean. Great value. Close to subways.
Awesome location and the city view from our hotel room was fabulous.
AC was too loud. Elevators are very long waiting
The hotel is close to everything! The staff are amazing! Breakfast was great! We had a lovely stay and will definitely return!
Ideal location. Hotel is pretty good.
easy to get around and to the subway - rooms are small but you are not there to be in the rooms :)
Great for families. Clean, location, staff and breakfast. Room was small.
We really liked our stay. There were, however, a couple of very small issues. First of all, there was a housekeeping cart parked right outside of our door all 4 nights we were there, and it was somewhat difficult to maneuver around. Second, and I’m not exactly sure what happened here, but I’m pretty sure that the air conditioner broke the last couple nights of our stay. First two nights it stayed nice and cool in the room, the last two nights we sweat all night long and didn’t get much sleep. The vent felt like it was blowing warm air even though we had the air conditioner on and set at 70 degrees. I will say this was overall a really nice place. The employees at the counter and breakfast are really friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was good, too. Cool neighborhood with lots of dining options, a nearby grocery store, and a subway station on the corner. Would definitely stay again assuming the air conditioning problem didn’t happen again.
Check-in was very easy with Sammy the receptionist being very pleasant and helpful.
Clean and cozy with beautiful view
Coeliac friendly
Very nice hotel and very accommodating for our daughters coeliac disease, would definitely stay again.
I liked how close it was to a subway stop and many restaurants, shops and convenience stores
Small room as you would expect for the price, but everything was very good (including breakfast buffet).
The staff was friendly. True to another review I read, the AC is loud. Like being in an airplane loud. I actually cranked it up before bed and had to turn it off to fall asleep. (I guess for some it might be white noise to block out the city sounds.) It's not on a very busy street, so walking back at night it was less populated and I felt like I needed to be a little more alert, but I didn't feel unsafe. Late on the last night of my stay I found a couple of tiny, harmless "drugstore beetles" - one on the bed and one on the night stand - but, honestly, as long as they weren't bed bugs I wasn't about to move rooms.
Be more ecofriendly to the nature. IT Will be better if you Will use less plastic during breakfast. The room view was perfect And good location of the hotel
Good hotel in convenient location
Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Room is small but clean. Good location, just a short walk to the subway station, coffeehouses, etc. The elevators take long in the mornings and one morning in particular when one was out of order. Also, in our room, the barn door into the bathroom leaves a huge gap between the door and wall, therefore not providing adequate privacy.
Great clean hotel, fab buffet breakfast
Way up high 40 floor. Clean, quiet, friendly but very crowded lobby and breakfast. But great huge breakfast options!!!
I love my stay and room even got an upgrade and compensated for The night after an issue outside my room, everyone was very accommodating and nice
Convenient and clean, but very small.
Service of Excellence!
It was great from start to finish. Ana was great at my start and Amelia was great at my end. Very pleasant and accommodating. We had one snafu which was handle with excellence! I would definitely return there!
Unfortunately our stay was completely compromised by a total building facility failure of the air conditioning system ( in 80 degree weather) and a water outage that lasted 20 hours with the hot water never resuming for the remainder of our stay. Poor communication from management throughout the outages and no compensation or reduction in charges for this massive inconvenience. Stay elsewhere is my advice.
