The beds were very comfortable!

The staff were very friendly but the area has been experiencing car theft. They do have a security that drives around the property.

Just okay, aircon and fridge not working right. Location is not so convenient when you’re planning to visit the Capitol, Lady Bird Lake and LBJ Library. This location is on the other side of the freeway. Staff are nice and accommodating.

Arrived and my reservation had been canceled without my consent. I spent 5 hours on the phone with customer service trying to get another place to stay. Tried to put me in Motel 6s and red roofs despite me paying for a good hotel. Finally when I got a decent one they had booked it for the next day. I had to sleep in my truck that night

Good Stay for ACL

Staff were nice and amenities were nice and clean. However, our a/c would only work for an hour before it would go back to being set on 80°f, which was weird. Also, it was flashing low battery on the thermostat the entire time. The bed was meh, but I can’t complain about that part really for how cheap it was (compared to other Austin hotels on ACL weekend).

I liked the breakfast and the service from the front desk but the quality of the room and the cleanliness was not up to par. I have stayed there before and just being in the room with the old musty smell was not pleasant. There was food and trash drippings n the elevator that could have been cleaned up but for the price I paid, I would have paid that price and felt better about my stay.

The carpet was dirty in the room and in the hallways. The bathroom floor tiles were sticky and the grout was filthy. Housekeeping made up the bed but left the wet used towels on the bathroom floor and left no fresh towels.

I would never come back here again. The indoor pool is freezing cold and slippery. My son fell while walking so not sure if the floor is not adequate or if they did that on purpose. The room itself was so humid and felt dirty just walking in the room. The sofa had stainings on it so my kids weren’t allowed to sit on it. The tv isn’t even mounted on the wall it’s on a counter and in an odd place. I would never come back here. Felt like a motel. Breakfast was so bad and the line was long for a waffle. No one ever came to clean the room or restock towels. Very very disappointing hotel. I think you can get a better stay somewhere else for the same cost.

Our stay was great! We arrived in the evening to our room and the room seemed unfinished. Before we could call the front desk, there was a staff member calling us explaining that the room we were in was our original assigned room but had since been deemed "out of order." The issue was quickly resolved and they even offered us a bag with water and snacks for the inconvenience. The staff were all very nice throughout our 2 night stay.

Hotel needs work

With the exception of 1 extremely nice employee, the rest were not nice or helpful. We had issues with the door not opening properly. The room didn’t look properly cleaned, and we had a bug in the wall. The tissue box was empty and the toilet didn’t work. We waited in the lobby and were not notified that they fixed it. They left the floor dirty, but it was after midnight so we just went to sleep. Made calls to the front desk and no one answered. Kids were running around the hotel playing hide and seek and when we asked them to quiet down they called my wife the “b” word. Overall, not a good or comfortable stay.

Was a very nice 2 night stay. Easy access to I35 but no highway noise. Good restaurant walking distance from the hotel, Would stay there again.

Springhill Suites!

The employees were very nice! Rooms were very clean. The bed was a bit too hard for me, but I was so tired I didn’t notice until the morning. The pool was not working,, supposed the heating pump had been out. Bummer!! No jacuzzi. The coffee was bland. The oatmeal was great. They only served meat that was pork so there were no other options but oatmeal.

Great stay for a business trip

Everything you’d want for a one-night stay on a business trip. Easy, convenient location and parking, very friendly staff, nice amenities (pool, workout room, etc.), really good breakfast buffet, large, clean room. A bit of a funky smell in the 3rd floor hallway, but other than that, everything was excellent.

So far everything is good. I like that I am able to sign in to my Netflix on the TV instead of having to watch from my iPad.

Convenient to our destination and very reasonably priced. Had access to another Marriot property with a first rate restaurant just across the parking lot.

Not a true Springhill

Room was more like a red roof inn than spring hill. Reeked of air freshner and very old. To check in took us over 20 minutes just for the receptionist to come out the back. Definitely would not recommend

Frozen

Sooooo cold! Bathroom floor was ice cold. Unbearably cold. Shower was a mess to get hot water to come out. And the a/c heater unit very annoying. Didn’t blow hot air and fan stays on circulating cold air.

This is a property that needs some maintenance. The first room we were in had a strong disinfectant or air freshener smell. We tried it through the first night but had to change rooms for the second night. In both rooms, Both rooms needed work on their caulking. The second room had a towel rack that was ready to come off the wall. The second room smelled fine until the blower came on. Then it was a musty smell...not too overwhelming but not fresh either.

SpringHill did their job. You guys didn’t and when I called to let you know that I couldn’t check in due to you guys having my reservation pending I got hung up on by your customer service agent. SpringHill suites had to cancel my reservation through Expedia and get CHARGED again to get out of the cold.

Unfortunately my room wasn't very clean when I arrived, but staff was extremely understanding accommodating when I asked to switch to the Hilton across the street. Although the cleanliness is more on the housekeeping staff not so much on them, the front desk did everything they could to ensure that I was taken care of, and that was greatly appreciated.

The ice machine didn't work and the phone in my room was dead. Couldn't get a wake up call.

Stayed for the weekend to attend a wedding. Family friendly staff and beds were super comfy and rooms were clean. Definitely met expectations.

We had a great stay. The staff did everything to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.

This is hotel is 9 minutes from downtown Austin and 10 minutes from airport. Great location, clean outside, exceptional customer service. Breakfast was nice because it was fresh, clean and very organized. My only concern was the room I stayed in. It smelled like fresh urine. My sister is NP and alerted me to the seriousness of the smell. Additionally, when we turned the air conditioner on the urine smell only intensified. It became overwhelming. The hotel room needs a deep cleaning. The carpet is very dirty. To add, I took a rag to wipe up a lotion stain off the floor. Instead the rag turned brown and that’s when I really knew the floor was dirty. Overall the beds were clean, the towels were bright and white, the microwave was clean and the kitchen area was clean. It’s appears, the hotel room would benefit from a deep cleaning. Wiping down the surface is not enough. The front desk worker was kind and very responsive to this matter. She offered an immediate discount and took notes.

It is completely outdated and dirty/dingy. I would have left if we were not so exhausted. We both got up around 5am due to a banging outside and an extremely uncomfortable bed and terrible pillows. I wanted to get going and out of there, so I looked at the shower and there were 2 conditions, no shampoo! The shower head was hanging off the wall and a spider. I called downstairs to ask about shampoo, he asked me to come down to the front desk. He gave me a bottle that had a layer of dust on top and the pump was off. I fixed the pump, but then when I tried to use it, the pump was broken. Irritated, we brushed our teeth, and the sink would not drain, it was not pleasant. At this point, we didn't care, the stains on the carpet and stains everywhere else was making our skin crawl. Marriot needs to give this one away.

The people working there were all so friendly and helpful and the room was very clean and nice, the pull out couch beds are not comfortable but kinda expected that. The problem we had was they oversold so when we came to check in, our room that we reserved was given to someone else! Didnt know that could happen when you choose a specific room and book it. They did find a room for us not the same set up though and very squishy but then put us in what we had originally reserved a couple nights later. Didnt know hotels could do that. A reservation should be a reservation.

Friendly and professional staff. They went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed.

Had two rooms reserved showed up early and was told we were going to be placed in our rooms within five minutes. Waited over a half hour left to get lunch and received an email later that we had been moved to a hotel completely across the city.

The units were not fully cleaned. The ACs had been treated with some scented product. The scent of the freshener was so overpowering that I ended up leaving a day early. Additionally the desk in my room collapsed onto me as the legs fell out from under it while using it. The staff was nice and understanding as much as they could be, it was stuff out of their control and they did let me check out a day early with no fees but the management of the hotel needs to go walk the rooms and make some upgrades as well as getting rid of that terrible overpowering air freshener.

We walked in an 1 1/2 after checkin time, which is at 3pm, and our room wasn’t ready. We didn’t get out room until 5pm. Terrible. Then they were trying to get us to go to another hotel so that when the rooms did become available, the other customers walking in wouldn’t have to wait 2 hours for their room. Just ridiculous.

Loved the breakfast and my stay was more than I was expecting
