Overall a good stay

Everything was great except the parking lot was icy and not well cleared.

Just got here but everything is in order and the front desk was knowledgeable.

Room was clean little outdated. They are in the process of updating. Staff was friendly and professional

Very comfortable stay

Hotel is very nice. It is a bit older but still in good shape.The room was big and clean. The beds were very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was much better than others we have had. They even had gluten free bagels!

This place was beautiful and friendly. Wallpaper was peeling in the bathroom in my room but i def would stay here again.

I had to request a room change the Television was no working they made me empty the room in the second floor go to the lobby with all my luggage without offering help to give me another room a few doors down in the same floor I just came from in the second floor. So upsetting.

Needs some renovation

Toilet room and bathroom had peeling paint on the walls, which made the atmosfer fell neglected and uninviting. Sofa had quit noticable stains and looked unkempt, which made it uncomfortable to sit on. For the price i paid, i expected better experience.

We visited Albany for family weekend at UAlbany. The room was clean and beautiful. We stayed for two nights. The housekeeping staff did not get the opportunity to clean our room as we returned to the hotel about 1pm or later and they were still working on the room opposite ours. She handed us fresh towels and was very apologetic and extremely nice. The breakfast needed a variety but was ok. Overall I had a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend and stay there again

Business in area. Stayed one night. Ate at Ralph’s Tavern across the street so it was a convenient place to eat.

Rude staff on Saturday in the breakfast area

The property is apparently being assumed by a new owner. The wallpaper was coming off the walls in the bathrooms, the sofa was worn and bleach stained. There was a note at the main desk about the new owner, but still, the rate was $200/night or so....one expects better fro the price

I didn’t like this hotel a woman’s pad was in the garage they never cleaned the garbage before we . There was hardly any breakfast there

This hotel is a health hazard to the public and should not be open for business in its current state. The entire building smells high of mold and Clorox. Theres a sign apologizing for the current state and stating that the hotel will undergo a full renovation next year. This hotel should be shut down until that renovation is complete. I’m not even sure how it’s legal to operate in its current state.

Amazing stay! Great breakfast and we enjoyed the pool. Def will stay here again

Bed bugs

The beds were full of bed bugs. They had to move us to another room. My daughter was freaked out and was afraid to get in the bed. We were away because of a field hockey tournament that she was in. Needless to say she played with getting good rest due to the bed bug problem the hotel has.

Monique quickly accommodated us by allowing us to shower in an alternative room as all other 2 queen suites were booked. Upon leaving the front desk, Monique then called our original room and stated that we can also use the room for some of us to sleep for the night if we wanted and extended the checkout for the alternative room until 2 instead of 12pm being that I explained our start time to prepare for the wedding is 8am. She stated that someone would be at the original room to repair the shower in the morning. I thanked her for accommodating us above and beyond. Two people from the bridal party decided to stay in the alternative overnight as offered by Monique. At approximately 10:55am the following morning, Moin R. came to the alternative room, 107, knocked and entered the room and aggressively demanded 2 of the women to “get out!” He stated that we were not permitted to occupy the space for sleep but solely use the bathroom. He threatened to charge my card for an overnight stay. One of the woman called me and advised me of same. I immediately went to the front desk to address the issue. I introduced myself as the cardholder. Moin stated he was a manager and immediately started to yell saying that we were not to use the room to sleep and I would be charged. I explained the conversation with Monique and he continued to reiterate same several time and kept cutting me off as I attempted to explain my conversation with Monique. I advised Moin that I felt like he was being

We had a really nice stay. The hotel was quiet, breakfast was good, and the room was spacious. The sofa in the room was kind of dirty and did not smell fresh but we didn’t spend any time on it anyway so it was forgivable.

I have stayed at this property many times. The rooms are nice, clean and have wonderful showers. As always, the staff are great from top to bottom. The breakfast stinks. Watery, weird scrambled "eggs" and waffles in plastic wrap. . . . The best part of staying there is the location. There is a great (seasonal) ice cream shop in front of the property, and across the street is Ralph's, a great family run Italian/American restaurant that I go to pretty much every night when I stay at this hotel.

Overall good stay, but breakfast menu needs to be improved .. no breads , no vegetarians options . Restrooms locks don’t works . Hotel needs to check the room before allocating it. When customer pays high amount , deserves the value of his/ her money.

Although I stayed for one night it was wonderful. The bed was comfortable. Slept like a baby. The room was nicely spaced out. Clean and comfy.

In an area with a good amount of options. $20 deposit on the stay was a definite plus. Would definitely stay again!!!

Great hotel and won’t break the bank

It’s our second stay at this hotel and it is over all very nice place its clean and comfortable. The staff was pleasant I’m disabled so I get an accessible room which is quite spacious and I have plenty of room to maneuver with my walker I just wish there was an arm chair in the room as it’s hard for me to get out of the low sitting couch It’s very centrally located if you are visiting someone at the university The breakfast could use an upgrade I would stay here again and recommend to others

Great Experience

The staff was so polite, understanding, made sure our needs was met. It was clean. The rooms was very spacious. I will definitely stay again if i go back to Albany

The staff were very helpful and accommodating. Our original room had a problem with the shower valve. They quickly changed our room and apologized profusely for the inconvenience.

Nice place to stay

Went to Albany to drop our daughter off for college and needed a place to stay because of a snowstorm so we book a room here being handicapped I was able to get a very nice accessible room the roll in bath with a big seat was great The room was nice beds were very comfortable plenty of room to move around Everything was clean Staff was very pleasant We will be staying here again

We were warmly welcomed and appointed a lovely clean spacious room with a kitchenette. This hotel is close to everything it was perfect for our family!

Anniversary trip

Room was great. King bed was very comfortable. Walk in shower was helpful and relaxing after a long drive. Cleanliness of room was great. Check in was easy. The gentleman at the front desk was curtious and easy to talk with.

The room smelled like pepperoni pizza when I entered. The light up over the bed was broken and dirty (not a place you want dirt -- over your head at night), the sofa was torn and stained, the wallpaper was peeling off in both bathrooms, next to the shower the bathroom hook was attached to the wall with sticky, so when the wallpaper sags, so does the hook, the backside of the desk area was cracked and broken, the shower had a bad crack that was not properly repaired, the full length mirror had been broken and poorly repaired, and even one of the tables in the breakfast room had warped formica on top. You'd think the manager would notice, and Marriott would care enough to want to keep their property up -- but all the repairs I saw were absolutely slap-dash. It doesn't help that at check-in they didn't notice I had booked the room on Expedia, so they charged my credit card for a room that was prepaid. Overall, way too many eeuuu-yucky things wrong.

Great front desk staff

I dont recall the gentleman's name at check in, however he was pleasantly friendly and warm and easy to chat with while getting checked in and nowadays that isnt always the case so I needed to point that out! The room overall was pretty clean but the couch cushions had some crunchy stains on the edge of the cushions appearing to be food related, I noticed while opening the pullout sofa for my son. And under the main bed there were some empty chip/snack bags that weren't from us. So, not totally thrilled with the cleaning of the room but overall it was a pretty nice room

Disappointing experience - would not stay there

Room given was not what was reserved - I reserved a room with 2 queen beds and was given a king with a pull-out couch which was nowhere as comfortable (they stated they had no other rooms available). Also, the room was not properly cleaned (toiletries from the previous occupants were still in the bathroom) and the sliding door to the toilet was off the tracks and difficult to use.

Hidden gem!

We were pleased with Spring Hill Suites. We found it a little pricey, but I guess everything costs more these days.

The staff was extremely nice. The lady doing morning kitchen was super nice.

Be aware…don’t do it.

Doors were falling apart, was told that should’ve notified them sooner, then before it was found so it could be fixed with glue or duct tape. Breakfast was bleak. One option for anyone with allergies which was a packaged muffin. Coffee was Luke warm at best. Pool was tiny and cold. Housekeeping entered the room despite the do not disturb sign. Only replaced 2 towels. When questioned, was told that housekeeping doesn’t do rooms unless requested and i should’ve known to ask for clean towels. Never will stay here again.

Great place under new ownership, went there for a soccer tournament, the only bad thing is too many kids unsupervised. Not the hotels fault, the front desk guy was doing his best to keep things in order with those kids. Fortunately most of the parents were taking care of their own.

The room was very nice - comfortable and clean. A thoughtful gesture was that they left 2 water bottles in the room for us (not seen that at other hotels). The breakfast was very good with a nice variety not seen at most places (topping bar for both the eggs and the yogurt) PLUS they had gluten-free muffins! That made me very happy! =)

I was very disappointed. After a 6 hour drive, upon enrty to the front desk. The receptionist Vincent was very rude. When asked a question he mumbled and looked very annoyed. I love Marriott but i think im done...

The people at the front desk were amazing. The only thing I have an issue with is that there were a lot of stains on the couch and the cleanliness of the room could’ve been a little better, but everything else was very comfortable. The bed was amazing. The shower was great.

Great stay

My stay was great. I shared a suite with 2 of my grown daughter's which also had a pull out couch. There was a microwave and refrigerator, in addition to a sink and bottled water. I really enjoyed our stay there. While we didn't use the pool there was an indoor pool we could access. The staff at the front desk were very accommodating and efficient. They offered lots of choices for breakfast and the food was filled before you had time to tell someone it needed to be filled. I loved that.

The property was convenient located for my business travels. The lobby and public spaces were clean and bright. I found my room to be dark, dingy and dirty. The couch had so many stains on it I wouldn't even put my jacket on it let alone sit on it.

Staff were welcoming and friendly. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, and breakfast buffet was fresh and diverse.

Very clean hotel. When you walk in, there is an overwhelming smell of Clorox. Perhaps the cleaning product could be changed or candles lit to give the lobby a more pleasing smell.

Great for overnight

Unit is in need of renovating. Nothing noted on the site when I booked. Mirror is stained. Toilet was clogged.

The comfort of the pillows and duvet were horrible. They need to invest in some half decent duvets. The breakfast buffet was horrible. I have stayed at Marriott's in the past and they usually have very nice complimentary breakfast, but this was simply bad. Not the standards I was expecting. Very disappointed.

Bad experience

Hotel is dirty and uncomfortable. The rooms were not cleaned or beds made after us being out all day. My AirPods got stolen from the hotel room and the hotel was unresponsive and rude about it. Never staying here again

The first room they gave us looked in need of some renovations. We requested a different room. The second room was up to par.

It was in a great location. The hotel, itself,was tops. But the room had stains (red) on floor , we had to exchange hair dryer, the sofa had a cushion with broken zipper and fully exposed stuffing coming out, one of the shower liquid dispensers was broken (needs glued) off wall. Not the end of world, but it was a coffe pot instead of Keurig.
