Very comfortable & quiet location with a lovely view. Close to great cafe with seafood & breakfast. Beautiful walking location along the water.

Relaxing,peaceful andaway from the hussle and bussle of coastal towns. Just perfect .

We stayed in the 1 bedroom cabin which was perfectly situated, clean, modern, well equipped, and so comfortable. The fire pit and BBQ area were great and location right across from the water and main jetty worked well for us. The area is peaceful with a great cafe nearby. Highly recommend!

This place was the real deal. It was spotlessly clean, with crisp white bedding, tastefully presented, and reasonably priced. We will return soon with my grandchildren and their parents. We also appreciate the acceptance of our six greyhounds (I'm only joking)— our Toy Poodle!

I like that is was pet friendly. Great location. Only down side was that I could not shut the shower door properly.

Overly compact 2 bed cabin

Purposely selected this property as it had 2 bedroom cabins. Unfortunately my travelling partners were unable to come, which was probably a good thing as the cabin was quite small, with a small bathroom and would've been very tight with 3 of us. During the first evening there was a cricket invasion, that appeared to access via the sliding door track. & both doors were closed. Aside from the compact size the cabin was generally comfortable. Location was the best aspect being right across the road from the River and within easy walking distance to the Hotel and shops. Another friend got a single bedroom cabin that would've been almost double the size, more modern and with a large verandah.

Dog friendly with a safe lockable porch for the dog was great. I will return because my dog was safe and could be inside or out on the porch.

The tent stood up to a strong storm which was reassuring!

I stayed in a safari tent with my daughter. Clean, quiet and such a fun experience for her. We loved hanging out on the deck and I loved having modern facilities while still feeling like we were camping. Will definitely stay again

We had a great 2 night stay at South Coast Retreat. Cabin was small but had everything we needed. WIFI wasn't great. Ideal for a short relaxing stay

Exceeded our expectations! Travelled with my husband and our dog. All three of us had an amazing mini holiday- home away from home! This place is a gem and we definitely will be back again.

Wonderful property right next to the water and extremely clean.

We were only there to stay overnight and arrived at almost midnight!! With our dogs and us soaked by the storm on 27th Nov, we had a short stay of 7 hrs. Despite that the shower was great and soaps smelt wonderful!

Unique accommodation, and great facilities in an awesome location.

We loved the proximity to the parkland and shoreline, the local residents who went by were very friendly. They were happy to chat and to let’s us pat their dogs or share their fishing tips. Lovely property, very clean!

I needed to get away for a weekend and randomly chose Greenwell Point. The small cabin I was assigned was perfect for one and had everything I needed, with wonderful views. The local area is beautiful and the walk along the water was perfect for the soul. Will go again when I can.

Fantastic place to stay, easily accessible, everything you need at the cabin and in town. Pet friendly, people friendly, will definitely be back again very soon.

We love staying at South Coast Retreat, for us is really nice to be able to count on dog friendly accomodation that is so nicely catered, located right next to the water and super clean. Anything you need to escape and enjoy the south coast.

Perfect dog friendly retreat. Had everything we needed. Views of sunrise over the water were amazing. We particularly liked the information guide and especially the aboriginal sections which gave us a good insight on the aboriginal stories and culture. The place was also spotless , apart from a little bit of dust around the bunk beds which could have been easily missed.

The cabin we stayed was clean, bathroom was good and clean. Very nice and quiet area. Water view from the cabin was nice. Walking distance to water.

Great to relax.

I was in Nowra for work but also had a few spare days and was looking for somewhere quiet by the water and didn't disappoint. Bed was super comfy and the shower amazing. Fish and chip shop up the road was a bonus.

Close location to the park and the coastal walk Noisy during this time of the year, playground and the marina are very close to the property and the noise insulation is not great. Poor condition of the outdoor tiny table, not table inside the cabin to have a cup of coffee, broom handle rusted. Everything else worked as expected, very good hot water system.

Really enjoyed it, the property allows my fur babies to stay and it was newly renovated. We will be back! Thank you 😊

It was a beautiful experience

Excellent spot for fishing, walks and kids

The property was in an excellent spot, right across the road from the water and a quick walk to shops and pool.

Great cabin directly across from the wharf and playground

I didn't like that their was a dirty plate in the Microwave oven, One thick long black hair in the tea towel which i left on the window sill in the kitchen, the bathroom, the sky light was not fitted properly I could see into the roof of the building. One bath towel was not fit to dry myself in. Other than that, We enjoyed our trip and short stay in Greenwell point.

Little getaway

Nice peacful location right across from a jetty, cabin was very cute, beds were comfortable.

This Property was very clean and Great Location, close to eateries and local Hotel in which was great. We Also caught the Greenwell point bowling Club curtesy bus to and from the retreat . the only thing is that some other guest staying in the Glamping/ Tents accommodation at the Retreat played and sang sounds aloud all night, I was going to contact the Number provided if any issues , But as it was it was early hours I did not want to bother anyone .

Quiet, nicely equipped, close to the local amenities.

The property was full of dog hair and had not been cleaned properly prior to arrival - also the noise from the unit behind us (which almost sits on top of the one we were in) was atrocious and did not let up all Saturday night. No on-site representation is a certain downfall of this place.

Not one to write reviews but they deserve it. Everyone was friendly and extremely welcoming which makes the place an awesome welcoming experience. Close to the beach and place was very clean. Great fish and chips few doors down the road. Very well equipped for a tent. You have everything you need for a holiday. BBQ on deck, shampoo, conditioner, coffee, tea, full size fridge and microwave. They even had fresh eggs when we were there. It was a hotel stay in a tent. Very thoughtful owners. Bonus because our Furkids was very welcome and might have enjoyed the trip more than us. Only thing we did not like was our stay was too short. Definitely recommend the place. Will be back again.

Beautiful location and the accommodation was great. It is a shame there is no fencing/quiet from the kids playground directly across the road and I didn’t wish to watch them play or hear them too (screaming) but not much can be done about that

From the friendly staff to the fantastic facilities, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here.

The cabin is equipped with everything one requires in a motel/cabin short stay. It is exceptionally clean and easy access with your car parked at the front door. All the tapware,basin, kitchen sink, shower and hand shower are all up market brand.

Good for fishing. Walking distance to all amenities. Place was neat and tidy.

Lived like a relaxed local - don’t want to leave!

Last-minute overnight booking for our family group of 6 adults across 2 cabins. Perfectly located for those who want to live like a relaxed local, with the option of good privacy readily available by closing the curtains. Cabins were clean and well maintained with good amenities. Excellent water views and access to the nearby boat ramp, picnic and playground areas etc. Even the birds are more relaxed and live in good harmony with each other (unlike where I live)! The owners were especially helpful with suggestions that suit our timing and preferences. Highly recommended - will stay longer next time!

Weekend getaway

Fantastic weekend we are planning our next trip back , suites us wonderfully has everything we need , can go out to eat all stay in our choice. So relaxing great accommodation in a beautiful area

A terrific weekend retreat by the water

This is a great place to get away with the family. Comfortable, great water views, quiet and relaxing. Everything you need is there and a choice of cabins or part cabin with canvas.

Awesome Glamping Experience

Fantastic safari tent - we truly enjoyed the glamping experience. Fully decked out with comfortable bed, clean kitchenette and bathroom. Electric blanket, electric heater and fan. Enjoyed cooking our own steak & seafood dinner on the electric BBQ on the deck. Highly recommended !! Lauren at front office reception was very welcoming and made the experience even more inviting.
