A good cost effective option. Location isn't amazing - so the price is better - but the Metro is less than a minute walk.
Good option in a good location
So close to the Metro. Nice neighbourhood.
Ich war zufrieden
Pleasant stay.
Very convenient, easy link to the train station. Room was okay but bed was a bit too small. Staff were very nice and very caring. They were also very considerate towards our 2 year old child and tried to accommodate us as much as possible.
Excellent location for our Olympics trip. Right near metro. Nice bars and restaurants. Easy to get to from gate du nord. Not a fancy hotel but has everything you need, except a room fridge. That would be really useful.
It s a nice and cosy place.l loved it
Positives: Hotel room was very clean. Staff were informative and pleasant. Room cleaned daily. Has elevator and air conditioning. Negatives: shower takes up entire bathroom. Our room had drain issue which caused water to go everywhere. There is no lip between bathroom and room so water also went onto room floor. Area at night is questionable with random people begging.
The room was superb the location is also superb right near the mo etro so no problems with travel. The bars in the area are great
Rooms are small but quite adequate. Good shower and bed. An interesting area of Paris within the Peripherique. Bistro Chez Soi opposite a good restaurant.
The staff at Source Hotel is super friendly! The hotel has a working elevator and air conditioning for the room. Very close to Metro Line 13 so it's easy to get around. Small rooms but I didn't spend much time inside anyway, other than sleeping and some light homework time. I would definitely stay here again.
Love the area and the proximity to everything and transportation.
Good value
very good value if you are visiting or working nearby but its quite basic.
Nice and quiet stay
Super friendly staff, they were all attentive and informative during our stay. The room and bathroom were clean. A tad small for both but worked out for two people. We didn't eat the breakfast but it was provided every morning for a fee. They do have an elevator. You do need to insert your key card to activate the electricity in the room so you won't be able to charge anything while you're out unless you're provided a second key card. The location is not the greatest at night. Overall a decent stay.
I loved my stay here and will definitely book here again, nothing was to much trouble like when I had the wrong adapter I went to reception and they helped me. The room was always very clean and everyone was friendly. If I had to pick one bad thing it would be the noise outside but it’s a busy road and can’t be helped but I loved my stay thank you x
Neat and clean. Closer to metro station. Reasonable rates! Super friendly staff. Love it there!
Close to shops and transport.
Very friendly service who were helpful with our requests. Nice clean rooms and beds. The location is very convenient for public transport and room was quiet with good soundproofing.

Our first visit to this hotel. Very reasonably priced, clean and comfortable. A reasonable size room, too, for the price, by Paris standards. Although our sixth floor room overlooked Ave de Saint Ouen we were not disturbed by noise from traffic. It's easy to get to the sights of Paris, as the hotel is within a very short distance of the metro, buses and trams. Ave St Ouen area is a bustling, lively neighbourhood with plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes, very handy after an exhausting day of sightseeing. We come to this area two or three times a year to visit our daughter who lives nearby. Our usual hotel was fully booked for this visit. Fortunately we found Source Hotel which is considerably less expensive with no discernible difference in standards. Our hotel of choice from now on!
They have very good front desk. I forgot to ask his name, the slim guy with glasses helped me on my stay. He really made thibga easier. Very foos English. The otger guy is good too, freindly. Just disnt have much interaction wuth him. Recommend this place. Very close to metro. Very convenient.
Very small room and no facilities
Very Pleasant and helpful staff. Close to metro and easy to get too. We had a wonderful stay!
Very nice hotel. Great locations to visit the city as the Metro is just a few steps away.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Source hotel Paris. Staff very friendly and helpful. Metro on the doorstep, so very easy to get around. Only 10 euros in an Uber to Montmatre, so went there most days as its so beautiful with many places to eat there and explore. Would stay again.
Good hotel to stay staff was very helpful and friendly!Shower water pressure was amazing 👌Street food best compare to a city centre and prices a lot cheaper too. 2.50€ All it takes to get to city canter on the train.
We were so pleased with the friendliness of the staff, the state of the room, and the metro location. Will definitely stay again!
The bathrooms were modern and up to date and the staff were incredibly helpful. Wonderful service!
No frills, but great value. Would definitely stay again! Great neighbourhood too
Staff was amazing here. There was always someone to greet us as we came and went during our stay. Nicest and friendliest people we met in Paris!
In haiku: Nice staff; not nice room / Noisy, noisy, so noisy / Did not enjoy stay.
I thought the staff were excellent, the eating area was well prepped and staff was very attentive to guests needs. I was surprised at the size of the room as it was very small and quite dated.
Not suitable for a family with a baby. Rooms are very small. the picture was taken with the fisheye camera and it looks great there is a scam here.
Great Stay. Close to the metro. Great Staff.
Place was really clean. Great location to local restaurants and bakeries. Would definitely recommend. Only issue was you can't control temperature in room.
We had an excellent time in Paris and it could not have been made possible without the Source Hotel. Staff were very pleasant and always going above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Metro is right there, awesome places nearby!
The reviews on this property dont actually represent this property. The hotel is on the older side, the rooms are small and not well kept up. The wall are thin and you can and will hear other guest and all hours. The hall ways dont have light that are on at all times, they dont have times or motion sensors, so when going down the stairs please watch your step, no only is it dark some of the steps and damaged and you could fall. Also, because the hotel is small when the cleaning crew is cleaning a room all the equipment will be outside the room which makes it difficult to move around. The AC in the rooms this work that great but the temperature was ok. The staff here are amazing, very polite and helpful, this could make up for some of the property downfall. The location of the hotel is ok, their is a Metro staying at the end of the street and the metro exit is rigth across the street from the hotel.
Delightful time, well run, welcoming staff (all staff: day, overnight, breakfast). A simple place, where everything (at least in my experience) was done well. No flash to hide flaws, some furniture was worn (but well built so the flaws were only cosmetic). A really pleasant stay.
Very impressed by the standard of the hotel. Check in was quick, friendly and efficient. Lift was working and fir our pram. In our room requested cot already set up for us which was tremendous good standard and modern bathrooms. Overall very good value for money with very easy access to Metro, buses, groceries and restaurants.
I stayed for few days, staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. Location is great. Room is clean and quiet. The only downside was the wi-fi connection, wasn't great, we had to ask for the router to be restarted almost every day. Other than that, I totally recommend this hotel.
Would stay again
Great neighborhood. Close to the metro. Staff was great.
An excellent stay
All concierge were very accommodating and helpful. Rooms were good value. As was the breakfast. Will definitely choose Le Source if visiting Paris again.
It was very clean, friendly staff and helpful as to where to eat and what tram or bus to take.
Good location, easy access, friendly staff
pleasant stay
Hotel is in a working class neighborhood, subway station is just steps away which is very convenient. The rooms were nicely furnished and clean, beds were comfortable. Our biggest complaint was the WiFi or the lack of WiFi. Also the subways were very crowded during peak hours when coming and leaving the area. Overall our stay was pleasant.
Good placr
Rooms were small and cozy. Good place if you will be out all day
Poor quality of toilet paper, no hair blower, no coffee maker, no fridge, tiny room for 2 beds. The room is not the same in the picture. I will not recommend to anyone.
Satisfying costumer 😊
I'm very satisfying 😊
Paris
I wanted to stay near a family friend so the location was perfect. Easy to get bus to major attractions. Room was comfortable. WiFi was good. Would quite happily stay here again.
Quite decent for the rate paid. The front desk staff was incredibly helpful and service oriented. The rooms were small but clean; I’d recommend adding small refrigerators in the rooms to boost the stay-quality. The internet service was quite slow on the occasion I was attempting to purchase sports tickets on-line; as a result of the slow service, I missed out on my attempts to purchase French Open tickets:-(.
Source hotel Paris
The property is very conveniently located. Lots of restaurants, supermarkets and eateries are nearby. The Basilica and Moulin rouge are within 20 to 25 minutes walking distance. The metro is very close. The staff is pleasant. The room though are small but with a good and clean bathroom. They charge city tax 1.88 euro per person per night. The information that under 18 yrs child is exempted was wrong as they charge all children above 18 years of age. If you want to be in a good local area with a buzz then this may be the good option.
Our overall staying was very good, the room was fully renovated with new and contemporary furniture and the room cleanness was great. The only things the I think they could improve are replacing/fixing the baby’s bed (crib) which had some parts broken and potentially add a mini-fridge to the rooms. Other than that, I’d definitely stay there again.
Good for a short stay
Overall, ok and certainly served our purpose for one sleep before heading home to Canada. Close to CLG airport, morning congested traffic, but close. The neighbourhood is ok, not touristy, but fairly easy walk to Montmontre centre area. I am not sure I would feel comfortable walking home alone or with my daughter after dark, but it was fine in the daytime and only takes about 15-20 min to walk to Montmontre metro and Moulin Rouge. However, it may have been to route I took, I think there could have been a more scenic route. The hotel was very small but typical for Paris. Our room was quite roomy by Paris standards, had a queen bed and pull our single that was comfy for our 11 year old. The room was very simple, yet clean, and had all you need - wardrobe, BR was tiny but functional for short stay, big windows, bright but had black out curtains, in general, the room and the main lobby looked a little tire-all the furniture is beat up and scratched. The breakfast area did not look overly appetizing and we left too early to have it. The parking was about 2 blocks away - we got a key for underground parkade, super insanely small, but again, fairly typical for Paris, and was abut 28 euro, all quite convenient as the parking signs can be confusing and we did not have to worry about getting towed. Overall, a little tired looking, no frills, decent price (not a bargain), but clean, convenient, and good for a short stay.
Excellent stay made better by helpful staff
Excellent experience to stay at this hotel. Welcoming staff, very helpful. Ver convenient transport links, Metro exit escalator is just opposite of hotel, this close it is from Metro 13 line. Tram 3b is also 3 mins walk away. Good eating places around. Convenient Store is just 2 mins walk away. All in all, its a good reasonable place with excellent staff.
I can’t say one thing I like about this hotel. Rooms are small and not so clean. Bathroom is tiny. WiFi sucks!
Good location, very comfortable beds and clean shower facilities. A lot smaller then pictures and very loud at night if facing the road
This Hotel firstly has a fantastic location, within 10 mins on the tube of the Champs Elysees. The road it’s situation on it a busy road with lots of shops for fresh food, lots of nice bars and places to do some local shopping for bits and bobs. The staff are fantastic, all very polite and happy to have a chat with you. Very modern hotel, freshly decorated, comfy bed, good size tv. Great powerful shower and eeverything is very very clean! Everything was what it said on the tin! Considering everyone says París is very expensive, I’ve paid a lot more for a lot less in other countries! Will 10/10 recommend!
The picture they had online deceived me as I thought the room is going to be bigger. The bed had sweat smell and too pricey for the location.
Good hotel, good metro links to the centre, friendly helpful staff. Basic room, but with comfortable double bed, good TV and great bathroom - what else do you need?
the hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly ! the metro station is only 100m ;the room is good and clean ;nothing important next to the hotel ;you can go by metro to the center but the line 13 of the station is a very buzy and crouded line;just take care of bad people you might see
Large toilet with comfortable room
Room is comfortable with large toilet. Location near metro and also next to a Chinese restaurant which we had been craving since we started out holidays.
Great place to stay where the locals live, good options of resturants and take aways. Staff very helpful and friendly
Everyone in the staff at the Source hotel is very kind and helpful. The room was very clean, nicely renovated and we had enough space. The location of the hotel is just across the metro stop. There are also restaurants and shops at a close distance. We had a really nice stay.
Nice location and staff very friendly and helpful
We absolutely loved this hotel! At first we were a little worried because we usually stay in the center of the city and didn’t want long travel time to tourist destinations. It wasn’t a problem at all! The hotel is located next to the metro line 13, and it’s really easy to get to places by the metro or bus. We bought the week pass and traveled all over the city. We even got back to rest afternoon and found it always as 20-30 minutes by public transportation from the hotel. The hotel itself is beautiful- the view from our room was the Parisian street and it was amazing just to do people watching and see the beauty of the city. The staff was so nice and courteous. The reception staff always greeted us and had a lovely suggestions and a caramel gummy that was nice 😊, the cleaning staff were very efficient and even agreed to come back later in one of the days we took a nap. The hotel was such a great place to explore Paris and it’s price was fair. We would definitely go back!

Small but comfortable room. Friendly staff. Great breakfast.
Decent Hotel
Overall good stay and room was clean. The hotel exceeded my expectations for the price.
Good standard, as advertised
Nice hotel, great friendly staff. Exactly as presented in the pictures with no frills. Everything provided was sparkling clean and good quality. Have scored down a little on facilities only because there were minimal extras (e.g. no teabags or instant coffee in the room).
Nice hotel but disappointing that it does not provide drinking water bottles.
Lovely little hotel
Hotel was great. We got the metro into central Paris everyday and stayed out all day until late. There isn’t much around the hotel area but it’s on a great metro line which makes everything easy to get to. Breakfast very good and hotel staff great. Very good price for what you get also.
Hotel was great for our needs on the trip. Beds were comfortable and the bathroom was decent sized for Paris. Shower was bigger than usual which was great. Close to the Metro and about 20-30 minutes from most of the attractions. Air conditioning worked great. Bakeries, restaurants, stores all within walking distance.
Nice Hotel
Very close to Metro and variety of local resturants and shops.
Very low lighting, furniture condition is used and abused. Overall, you get what you pay for.
Tiny rooms
Very tiny rooms,Overall value for money looking at the prices of other hotels in france.very very close to the metro.
worthwhile stay in Paris
The hotel is right near a Metro station, which made it easy to get around. We were also able to walk to Montmartre from it. A play yard was provided for our baby to sleep in. It was worn but in usable condition. Overall a great choice of hotel for Paris.
Bed was comfortable but the room was noisy from outside street....didn't bother me but did my friend. We liked the local vibe but not everybody will. The staff was great. Wi-fi was great and the shower was small but powerful so we loved it.
Good location, just close enough to the centre, butt far enough away to avoid the masses of people. Right next to a Metro stop and opposite good restaurants which were very reasonable priced.
Nice hotel in a working class area.
We stayed for four nights at the Source Hotel. Upon arrival early in the morning, Christophe was very kind with us and we just waited for a short time for the room; he was very helpful and gave us directions to get to different places. Also the rest of the staff, Meziane and Mehdi were very nice. Breakfast was excellent, and coffee delicious. Also the room was very clean. Definitively I would like to go back to that hotel.
This is a gem
This was a great hotel and I have no regrets about staying here. Most hotels I book and review are just a little off the beaten path. I don't want to be in the heart of things but close enough not to be an inconvenience. It was only a 30 minute walk to Sacré-Cœur and this was on nice winding streets. Yes, there are stores and restaurants, but this area is mostly residents and that makes for a different type of vibe. You won't get hassled or pressurized by the hundreds of scammers in Paris. It is right on a subway line with the exit from the subway right across the street. You can't beat that. It is a small hotel, again something I like. There isn't that constant in and out and noise that you can sometimes get in larger hotels. I never heard a peep from anyone. Also the front door is always locked and you get buzzed in or when you get your key card, it allows access. From a safety point this is great. I felt very secure here and the front desk staff are very friendly. The room is small, but again this is something I want. I don't want to pay for space I don't need. It has everything you would want. I use hotel rooms to sleep and spend my day exploring all that Paris has to offer. The room was very clean and the bed comfortable. The bathroom was modern and clean. It had a really nice shower and the building had great water pressure. It had good internet so all in all it had everything I needed.
Back once again
Having previously stayed here we knew this was ideal for us for the paris marathon. Close to metro, loads of amenities. Clean, tidy and comfortable. Would recommend
Great hotel and nice staff
We have had really good time over here and staff are very nice and friendly. I stayed with wife and 3 years old daughter and staff are really nice and friendly and catered well for our little ones few requirements. Many thanks to Hamadi at reception for befriending my daughter :)
decent hotel
we cancelled a hotel booking in favour of source hotel as the reviews were much better. We stayed for 4 nights. The immediate area is awful, very run down and many drunks, homeless etc. Saying that , the shop keepers were mostly friendly and there was lots of bread shops close by.The hotel very clean and staff friendly and welcoming. We chose not to have breakfast at hotel. The biggest problem was needing coffee first thing in morning, no kettle in room so had to get dressed and go spent approx 4 euro on a coffee.Would have really helped if kettle in room.there was free wifi. it was noisy despite being informed rooms were sound proofed. The safe didn't lock
Great, good location
Rooms were nice but a little small to fit a baby porta cot in. Might be worth upgrading to a larger room in future. Internet was poor with slow speeds and drop outs. No soaps/shampoo provideded. Staff were very accommodating and helpful.
Great hotel. I will recomend it! Location is great, food is good, staff very friendly.
Excellent affordable hotel
Great location close to metro, many grocery, phone and bakeries/restaurants nearby. Safe and relatively quiet neighborhood. Fantastic staff and very clean rooms (rooms a bit small but this is Paris). Very comfortable bed and good strong shower.
Great place to stay. Close to porte st ouen metro station. Clean and great staff. They help u with everything.
One night in Paris
3 of us planned to spend one night in Paris 12/30 and return to London the next day. Knowing we just needed a place to crash I got a room for us at the Source. It was clean, felt like a safe place and close to City transportation. There was breakfast in the morning. For our needs it was perfect.
Nothing much to say except easy access to around Paris.
Great experience overall. Staff is helpful. Room is clean and comfortable.
small room
Ok for stay a few days room really small and noise all day and night on the street in front the hotel many siren cars all night not really easy to sleep . Breakfast small but very good . very close to Metro station about 20 meters away .
Amazing
I will book same hotel next time I go to Paris. Very clean and the metro station is very near the hotel.
Excellent customer service
Very clean! The bed was comfortable and the shower was great which is all I need. The location was near the metro which was convenient for us. Near shops, cafes and little markets. Free wifi which is always convenient. Check in was at 2pm however we arrived at 11am and they allowed us to check in and start our day early which was simply amazing. You don't get that convenience even in expensive hotels so that was a big perk for our short stay. Loved it, will definitely stay again!
Staying with 7m baby
We stayed 2 nights with our 7month old baby. We managed to cram into a double room with the cot which was provided. We were also given a kettle and bottle warmer which was much appreciated. The room was clean and comfortable. No bath but our baby enjoyed splashing about in the sink. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here.
People friendly
Really good complete breakfast. Metro just up the street.
Walkable and clean
Hotel staff is very friendly but rooms are small and so are bathrooms. Walking distance to many attractions. Train station is right on the corner.
Basic but very good!
Very good for travelling on a budget. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Metro located right across the road which made it very easy to get around Paris. Walking distance to Montmartre with nice restaurants and a beautiful view of the city. Basic room but all we needed to store our bags during the day and a good sleep at night and breakfast in the morning was a bonus. Would recommend.
Other than the 50 stairs, all was great!
We most enjoyed our stay but the stairs to the top were a lot with luggage. One of the staff jumped right in and carried one bag up for us. The facility was clean and modern. Although in Zone 2, the transport back to the city was quick and easy. And the Tube is just across the street and down 1/2 a block. Very clean neighbourhood and coffee/breakfast is available a couple doors down on the corner. Great restaurants close by and a grocery store for healthy snacks. The brilliant part was the Handy Phone. Every room has one and we used it for Google, maps and directions. Brought a charging stick so the battery would last all day. Thanks so much.
