Very close to the train station, friendly staff. Room small for 4 people but everyone had their own bed.
Solid place to stay while traveling.
I really liked the friendliness of the staff and they were really helpful throughout our stay. We loved everything about this hotel. Beds were comfortable and very close to train station. Breakfast was really good too.
The staff here are the best. Very friendly and very nice. Excellent customer service. I will definitely stay at this hotel again when I come to Tokyo. The train station is very close if you use exit 1 and it is pretty quiet when you sleep at night.
For a 3 star hotel it was pretty good only take away is the rooms are kinda small
Stayed on level 3 and the hallway smelled of cigarettes. The room itself was clean and quiet, but the air-conditioning unit really needs a clean and the air filter blew smoke-smelled air when turned on. It's not an ideal stay for non-smokers. The location is very close to public transport though.
Incredibly kind and helpful! The station is just right there! KFC down the street, and a small Lawson nearby too.
Very close to the train lines. Quiet and clean.
Location
Staff was very friendly and eager to help!
Had a great stay
This property has a very short walking distance from the train station. It also has one cafe with two restaurants and a beauty salon inside the building. It also has a vending machine with a microwave in the fourth floor and a Odín laundry in the second floor. They have a some staff that speak English. The property is clean and quiet. The food is delicious and inviting. The staff are friendly and hardworking.
Clean and quiet area
Would love to come back here again.
Hotel was amazing. Staff was extremely nice & helpful. After check out they were accommodating to hold our luggage so we can explore Tokyo before we had to leave to our next hotel destination. 10/10 I would come again & highly recommend booking here. Nearby the metro station/bus stations & restaurants.
Good location as you don’t have to walk too far from the nearest train station, staff were wonderful and room well nearly cleaned.
The location was good few mins walk from the station A lot of restaurants and cafes around Generally good
Very close to the station. The staff are very friendly. The room is clean.
Stellar service
The hotel itself is super convenient, right next to a Metro station. The rooms are nice and clean and the hotel is well kept. But what stands out for me from this trip is the service. We had sent luggage ahead with Yamato shipping because we'd heard nothing but good things about them. Somehow our luggage went missing which apparently is unheard of. The staff here went above and beyond to help us locate it. The missing luggage changed our plans for our last day in Tokyo, but they gave us a new room to keep for the day until we had to head to the airport. Based on this service that I have received here, I could not recommend this hotel enough.
The Amenities are more than expected such as hair iron, hair curler, nail clipper, luggage scale. Next to subway station and convenience store.
Great acommodation for a short stay
Nice clean tidy hotel with great staff. Very handy to public transport and supermarkets - family mart and 7 eleven. seft service laundry. Quiet room although in a busy area. The only thing we found is the rooms are quite small and there is no luggage storage - your bags just sit in the room in the way of everything so it's a bit difficult with a family of 4 in a room. However we found it great for a few days stay when we were out most of the day.
Close to train station, good eats around hotel.
Top quality all the way clean efficient had a wonderfully time
Very convenient for public transport
1 night stay
We stayed here for 1 night before flying home from our trip to Japan. Check in and check out we’re both very easy, staff were very helpful. The local area has a station right outside for convenient access to the city Center, and restaurants close by as well. The room was clean and comfortable with a large table and TV. Amenities were available at reception, as well as being able to borrow things like phone chargers - whilst we didn’t take advantage of this I’m sure it would be brilliant if you’d forgotten yours. The choice of extremely thick duvets in the summer was a little odd, combined with the AC not being quite as powerful as we would’ve liked. Overall Cannot really fault the hotel, would recommend to anyone coming to Tokyo!
I enjoyed our stay but I do feel as though the pictures are a little misleading when it comes to the size of the room. When using a wide lense it makes the rooms appear bigger than they actually are. So when me & my husband would have to hop on the bed to let the other pass by it was a little disappointing.
Convenient
Location is a little far from a lot of tourist attractions, around 30 mins way for most of them but it's right at a train station so it's still convenient. Hotel is super clean and the amenities are amazing. They even have stuff like bath salts and face masks which is pretty great.
Tokyo trip
Hotel is ok for a 3 star. Nothing special. Good for short stays.
Amazing and affordable hotel and 1 min walk from the station.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is excellent. Room was small but comfortable. Would stay there again.
simple
Close to station and restaurant
Clean and comfortable
Very well pleased with stay.
Hotel has good location- just next to metro station so access to all Tokyo attractions is very easy. A lot of shops around to get food (you can heat it in microwave at the hotel). Room was quiet and staff very friendly
We liked the location- being just next to metro station gave easy access to all attractions in Tokyo.
I arrived late, staff were helpful with the check-in. My stayed was for five nights and I'm highly impressed the cleanliness and the room service that I received. The hotel is close to the metro stations, convenience stores, and walking distance to iconic locations. My overall experience is a plus with my stay and I would recommend to all who is planning to stay in Tokyo for a reasonable price.
Ok for the price. The main thing is that it is close to public transportation and isn’t as expensive.
Good location near a subway station. Convenience stores and some restaurants nearby. Coffe and tea bags have to collect from reception. Good room maintenance.
Three of us stayed 4 nights in the family room which had two double beds and a bunk bed. The size of room was quite small as we had to shuffle the table around to open our luggage. Other than that, the service was impeccable and staff were really helpful and prompt to respond to emails prior to our arrival. The location is also very handy as it is right outside Toyocho station which is a main station for the Tozi line. There are lots of restaurants and convenience stores outside and it’s only stop away from a local department store.
Very convenient and great service. Would definitely book it again
One of the best hotels i’ve ever been at. The faculty was super nice and kind. They were willing to help me with anything. The room was clean and spacious for two. I really loved the stay and will stay again when i visit Tokyo next time.
Our stay was very nice.. The hotel was very accesible in the subway. They always change everything in our room and its very clean
Great value. They put us (2 adults and 2 kids) in a huge room with 4 separate beds. Service was good and check in was trouble free. Location is a bit far out of central Tokyo, but since the hotel is right next to a train station exit, it’s not much of an issue. Will recommend.
Fire alarm went off at 6am one morning and we had to evacuate. It was a false alarm and was a massive inconvenience
I’ve been to Japan before and the hotels that we stayed at previously were sort of small yet cozy, but this one was much more spacious and I like how there was a couch in the room as well to make it more roomy and inviting!
The location is not bad , ground floor of hotel have a japanese restaurant , bar and a nice cafe . Around hotel also easy can get 24houe mart , and easy can get restaurant aroud . Subway station is very close to hotel, nice. Cleanliness of toilet in room can be improve to better.
Deluxe triple room is big and clean. Closed to Subway and convenience stores and restaurants.
No parking. Stay 2 peoples but prepare only 1 personal item.
This hotel is a pretty bare bones facility, really only good for a place to rest your head at night. The rooms and beds are very small, so if you're traveling with another person, be prepared to feel cramped. The hotel has no lounge or resting area, which normally wouldn't be an issue, but as we were stuck in our tiny rooms taking shelter from a Typhoon, something like a lounge would've been greatly appreciated. They didn't have a great selection of entertainment or VOD, as most of the films were in Japanese, and the selection of those that weren't were very limited. Their rates are also a bit high, as I was able to stay in a much nicer hotel earlier in the week in Kinshicho for an average of about $30 less per night. This might be an okay hotel for locals, but if you're an international visitor and are looking for more comfort and amenities in your hotel, look some place else.
Next to subway station. Room is small but it’s typical to Japanese hotels we have been to. Staff was helpful, room is clean, they have coin laundry.
Room little small.
The hotel is next to Toyocho station, nothing else is around except tons of local eateries. It is hidden next to a coffee shop. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We booked the room with 2 double beds and a bunk bed which was exactly as pictured, but there is no room to put our luggage. The bathroom STINKS like urine. It’s hard to breath if shower with the door closed. Room is very hot, can’t set the room temp below 23C. Can’t leave the window opened either with night temp stayed at 30C. We were sweating all night long. Will not stay here again.
Subway station right next door. Restaurants, convenience stores and McDonalds surround hotel. Room was large and practical, however the bathroom smelt like urine and appeared unclean. I don’t believe the room was cleaned properly before we checked in. There were two toilet roll holders, one had an empty toilet roll on it and the other had only a quarter of a roll left. I had to ask front desk to bring some up to room, which they gladly did right away. Also, the bed I slept in still had an imprint of somebody else’s body in the linen and it felt itchy and unwashed. But apart from this small disappointment, the hotel was conveniently located and good for what we paid for it.
Very close to the Tozai line Toyocho station. The staff were as helpful as they could be, though some had limited command of English. The room is small. At 6'6" the bed is too small and the toilet is very difficult to duck through the door and use.
Hotel was in good location, right off the subway station. Staff was very nice, attentive and friendly. But, room was filthy!
Room was small. Location was near the metro, very convenient.
Very clean , everyday come and clean the room
The room is small for family of 4. No coffee, tea or drinks in the room.
Great staff and customer service. This location has several staff members fluent in English. Self check out was great as we had to leave at 7am in the morning
Location is very convenient (1min from subway, exit 5). Room was clean & comfy. Excellent service staff.
Room and bathroom very small. Imagine an airplane bathroom without a bathtub! Bed is only a double (they call it a large twin here) for 2 people. If you weigh less than 100 lbs each, then it's ok! Otherwise, hotel clean, staff nice, helpful and professional. Very accessible to Toyocho (Tozai Line) metro station. Remember to take exit 5 and hotel is right next to it (Pronto Restaurant). And McDonald's is 2 doors down, came in handy. Got home one night, very tired, did not want to look for a place to eat and McDonald's to the rescue! WiFi great. Do not bring large luggage, only carry on size otherwise you will be packing in the hallway. Coin laundry available, very convenient - make sure you have 100 yen coins (x5). You don't need laundry soap, it's built in. Slippers provided and kimono pajama also, that is if you're 150 lbs or less, you will fit. Overall, I like the place even though it is small. I would still come back here if given another opportunity. For the price and cleanliness, yes, I can recommend this place. Did I say WiFi is great? Yes, it is! The only thing I can complain about is the instruction for the control of the air conditioner is in Japanese, so good luck. We figured out one setting and never touched it again.
It had everything we needed especially a comfy bed, highly recommendable
Good property location accessible to subway, good food and restaurant and shops
Convenient but not so comfortable!!
Overall the stay was ok, but the bed was too small for two people!! But the staff did provide additional blankets when requested.
I stayed here a lot of times because is cheap and very near the station. Happy with all their things, service and location. But this is the only time I’m staying with my friend, and I felt a little sad because is my only time I needed help for reservation but help desk couldn’t help us to call. I guess this is quite a Budget hotel and this gave the reason why. But overall, I would still stay here again if I’m on a Budget trip!
Really clean and friendly staffs and so convenient for the transport. Nice cafe and restaurant
Very small room for one tall dude but I ain’t complaining! Sotetsu Fresa was one of the best hotels I’ve stayed at. Their service and dedication to the customer is #1! Plus the location is very convenient, there’s a McDonald’s nearby, a couple of convenience stores around the area, a cafe on the 1st floor, a great Italian restaurant on the basement level! And easy access to the Tokyo Metro Tozai Line, Entrance to Toyocho Station is very easy! Would stay again!!
This hotel is located next to the subway with three restaurants in on the same property and a Mcdonals next door there’s KFC
It’s just 3 mins Walk to the station.
Was comfortable and clean.
Overall great stay and good location
Very good location as it is very near to Toyocho station. A plus point where the hotel located nearby a limousine bus service to and from Haneda Airport within 30 minutes. The only little improvement needed was the bed linen as we found stained on it for couple of days. Despite the room we booked was small but it is still fine for 2 person. Plenty of convenient store, market and restaurant located nearby this hotel.
Clean, Comfortable and quiet. Great location.
Just came back from a week’s stay at the “Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo-Toyocho”. I usually book Hotel East 21, but that one was not available but I wanted a hotel in the general area. Sotetsu has several advantages: a) generally lower in price b) literally a few steps away from the Toyocho Tokyo metro station c) located on a main street with more food and merchandise shops nearby d) has a coin laundry onsite. A microwave oven is also available on the 4th floor to heat up a quick grab and go meal from 7-Eleven or Family Mart (both nearby). Sotetsu is not a luxury hotel, but it is very nice, clean and practical. Like many Tokyo hotels, the room is smaller than what American travelers are accustomed to. A solo traveler should book at least the double-sized room. Even so, there are no closets, and no dressers. So the sofa, and the folding luggage rack will be needed for you to spread out and access your clothing. There are wall mounted coat hooks and hangers for your jackets. The small room would be much too claustrophobic. The bathroom is set 8” above the floor level. And the tub is very deep, and can be difficult to get in and out of. The bathroom is not vented, and gets warm and humid very quickly, so it’s best to turn on the room AC and leave the bathroom door open a few inches while bathing. It’s much more comfortable that way. I would definitely consider staying at Sotetsu again.
We stayed at Fresa Inn for 6 days for our honeymoon trip. They gave as a corner room with a city view as requested. There was a patisserie gift for us since they knew that we are a newly wed couple. Double bedroom is not that big but facilities are excellent. There are free toiletries, face mask, oils, lotions, face care, bath powders for tub. As in everything that you need which is a plus! Laundry service is available too, using the coin washing machines and driers which cost about 300yen/wash and 100yen/30mins drying. The hotel is located very near Toyocho Station Exit 5, about 3-5 min walk. At the lobby there is a cafe (Pronto) beside there is Mcdonalds, Lawson store and about 2mins walk, there’s Yonshinoya. We love our room, the hotel services and we’re looking forward to come back soon.
Hotel staff are very nice. Room is spotless clean. Fresh amenities. Special amenities for women like face mask and others. Only room is a little small. We are asian but room is still small for us as couple. But overall, amazing stay. Location is a plus.
The hotel location is very convenient in transportations. And very quiet. The only problem I got there was the credit card issue. Toyocho is not a famous place for tourism, so many stores, including restaurants, did not accept credit cards - only cash. I need to prepare enough cash if visiting there again.
Good hotel for business victors
The location is great - next door to many restaurants, markets, barbers, convience stores, post office, and a subway. Staff was very accommodating to me and my family, and allowed us to temporarily hold our luggage while we checkout, so we could do some last minute shopping in Tokyo. This is a business hotel, so that's the hotel's main clinetel, so you don't really need to pack a lot of clothes. Be aware bringing a suitcase larger than a standard airline overhead-size case will be troublesome to manage in this hotel (but that's pretty much anywhere in Japan you'll have this problem). The only two complaints I would have are, the family room with a bunk bed is too small for four guests. I would recommend that if you're going to travel here with four guests, is to pay extra for their largest rooms. If not, you won't have any room to store your suitcases in the standard rooms. The second complaint would be the bathrooms really need an air vent to remove steam and odors. The bathroom steaks up quickly, and you'll have to open the door to vent the room. Overall I would stay here again.
very nice hotel
very easy to get the train
The hotel is nice with good location which you can assess the public transport like just few minutes walk can get subway. The room is good but the pillow is too hard. It would be more perfect if the price is included breakfast.
Convenient location and very helpful and nice staff but unfortunately the room is way too compact.
All staff is so kind and approchable We enjoyed our stay. Thank you and see next trip.
It's only minute a way from subway
Very friendly staff, a lot good food restaurant reasonabl price
Great place to stay
I highly recommend this place. Staff are very friendly and helpful, excellent amenities, near the subway, very clean and comfortable beddings.
Cosy but very nice. Very close to the toyocho train station which makes up for the location. Convenience stores everywhere close also makes it a nice stay for a week long trip on tokyo.
Overall a good stay
The hotel was conveniently located. The nearest exit from the subway is exit 5. Next to the hotel is a 24hr MacDonald and it has a restaurant located below the hotel. The rooms were very clean. However, the room was really small.
Extremely great location
Fantastic hotel right near Toyocho station (subway station; not included in JR Pass for those who are planning on getting one). Super clean. Fantastic city view of the street. Fabulous location; convenient stores, restaurants and shops at your fingertips.
Nice hotel,
Close to the subway & restaurants. Has a nice restaurant & coffee bar downstairs. A little cozy but hotel staff was nice. We went to Osaka and came back for a few more days. They held our luggage and put it in our room upon returning. Great place to stay!
Nice hotel, very near to limousine bus to airport.
Hotel is located in a very good location where a 24hrs supermarket is just opposite and lots of eateries around. The Haneda airport limousine bus is just 1 minute away. Hotel is clean and staffs are pleasant. Will go back again.
Compact business style hotel
Price is fair, closed to subway station. Staff is polite and very helpful. Neighborhood is quite and peace. The only disadvantage is the room is way too small...
Great value for money
Staffs are friendly, location good next to station, there is a great and reasonable restaurant just at basement 1and a cafe near the hotel entrance . Supermarket and eateries near by. At lobby, you can take Free can drink, tea packets and aroma packets for your bathtub- hot dip. Overall great experience!
Good hotel
Great hotel, has very good transport links with Toyocho station literally outside, rooms are very small and there isn't a cupboard for your clothing but this is to be expected, there isn't much to do in the local area but the transport makes up for that.
Budget hotel far from attractions
Bedding was soiled with a stain that looked like blood; the staff had to change it with a clean one. The room looked a bit run down, with need of renovation. It is difficult to get to the hotel if you are taking the metro, especially when you have regular luggage with you. Note that this was only for this location, as I moved around to other places with luggage without problems.
Clean room, friendly staff, good location -1 min from the tube station. The area was very clean and the hotel is 15 mins by tube from tokyo train station. Our room was small but that was expected. We didn't mind as we didn't spend much time in the hotel.
Convenient location, great staff
It's a standard hotel in Tokyo, as expected. Location is great. Staff are friendly and helpful. No compliant.
close to train station which is key
staff was great. on the same block as train station on the same block as mcdonalds. these 2 were key. ac was not high, we asked the staff to raise it and it was fine after that. restaurant downstairs was delicious, great price and great staff. cafe outside was good prices too and comes in handy.
Convenient location.
Located next Tozai line subway station. Sights and attractions close by when using public transportation. Plenty of nearby casual dining options and convenient stores. However, room was a little tight for four people.
Nice hotel close to metro station
Hotel staff is helpful, no issue to converse in simple English
Great hotel
Hotel condition is nice & clean, coffee shop right in front of the lobby, subway just next door.
My family and me enjoyed the place, we were very happy with the location and how it helps us to be close to the metro
