Convenient hotel
I liked the hotel. The room is not really big, but it was ok - anyway, I spent all my time exploring Tokyo. So, I used the room just for sleeping. The root was very clean. The breakfest (buffet) was simple, but tasty. The people on reception - helpful and friendly. Pretty close to Kanda Station and Otemachi Station. Overall - I glad I booked a room innthat hotel
Located within 5 minute walk to kanda station, is a great place set up for excursions all around Tokyo.
Perfect hotel for travelers
I would highly recommend this hotel and will plan to stay here again once I return to Japan. Before arriving, we had changes in our itinerary and the hotel was more than accommodating. Upon arrival the check-in process was easy (self check in) and the rooms were immaculate. We had our luggage shipped to the hotel and once it arrived, the staff left a nice note on our door letting us know they were storing it. I met one of the front desk employees, Nicole, who I cannot praise enough. She was professional, friendly, helpful, constantly checked in on us, and spoke English which made conversing easy! She provided me with sushi recommendations (which turned out to be some of the best sushi I had in Japan) and even provided me with 3 taco recommendations. Throughout my trip, I had the chance to speak with her about our trip and she provided some insight and tips. Overall she was the best part of the hotel and was very thankful to meet her! The hotel was clean, rooms were decently sized, and the location was optimal! The train station was less than 5 minute walk away and there were multiple convenience stores nearby. There is also and entire downtown area with restaurants and bars which I took full advantage of! Overall out of the 4 hotels I stayed at while in Japan, I would say Sotetsu was one of my favorites. I would highly recommend staying here.
The staff is very helpful and the hotel is just a few minutes walk away from train station.
The property is a short walk 10 min walk from the more popular subway station which is a little less convenient but nice for seclusion. Once you get to it feels like escaping the chaos of the city a bit. The bathroom in the room is a significant step up off the floor from the rest of the room. Going in isn't much an issue, coming it is bloody surprising every single time. The hotel obviously knows as i saw the last night i was there they offered step stools with signs indicating it was just for that step into the bathroom. It's not a "dislike" more a "be aware". Was more jarring every time more than anything for me but i can see it being dangerous if you lose your balance or lets say you try exiting with a towel wrapped around your hips.
Room carpet was lifting at the floor tiles in a few places, this was the only fault. Overall the stay was great. Rooms quiet and equipped with what you need and amenities can be found in foyer for your use.
Nicole is the sweetest and funniest
We had to stay one night before venturing off but it was last minute so the rooms were limited. We could not figure out how to have the AC in a cool setting. But a worker at the front desk was amazingly helpful and friendly. Nicole. She is truly an asset to this hotel.
Staff was very helpful, free amenities wonderful, I took advantage of the free bath salts. I never heard any neighbors.
Solid property - only spent one night and was perfect for solo travel. Had amenities at the front desk and check-in was smooth and seamless. Staff was welcoming and helpful. Can’t complain!
Nice location; rooms & breakfast need improvement
The hotel is very close to Kanda Station (4 min walk) and somewhat close to Tokyo Station (15 min walk). Large rooms are only next to the elevator. Breakfast options are extremely limited. They are ok if you stay one night but get very boring if you stay multiple. Customer service from hotel staff could also be better.
Very nice staff.
15 minute walk from train station ....excellent location
Fantastic location, close to Kanda station, minutes away from Akihabara and other major hubs on foot. Staff was super friendly and facilitated check in and check out with ease. Amenities are limited, but with the service and price this place is unbeatable. Rooms are small, but if you’re here to experience the city, you’re only in the room to sleep. Would definitely recommend for solo travelers and the like.
The location was in a quiet business district area close to a lot of train stations, conbinis and food options. The only issue that I had was the cleanliness. The bathroom can do a better cleaning especially the tub. Overall had a good stay as we were out most of the day anyway.
Well laid out room, good sized. Nicole at the front desk was wonderful.
Great, modern rooms. The limited interactions I had with reception staff weren’t particularly great, quite cold to foreigners. But it didn’t really affect my stay.
Stayed here for one night between Osaka and Nagano. Was close to station for Shinkansen (10 min walk). Staff were great and helped send our luggage to the next location. It was only a short stay but I found it was a good hotel for the price and location. Breakfast was not great for vegetarian/ vegan diets.
Always stay at Sotetsu when I visit Japan! Love their location and amenities provided. Thank you and see you again soon!
The staff was really nice, the area was really quiet, and it was also really close to a very accessible train station! The kanda station is so easy to transfer, and it’s also walking distance to akihabara. I would also like to note that the room size is actually bigger than what I would expect from a hotel chain. It wasn’t MASSIVE by any means, but it’s bigger than any other budget hotel chains (like apa or hotel gracery) for the same price—allowing for more bag and walking space
This was a great place to stay for our first time in Japan - the location was really close to the metro, the staff were extremely helpful, and the breakfast was really good value. The amenities in the lobby area were really helpful - it was so convenient to be able to grab some free bath salts, tea or cleanser. The room was small, as expected, but perfectly fine even for our 11-nignt stay. I would certainly stay here again.
I like everything about this hotel
Amazing hotel! Perfect location close to a station (5 minute walk at most), super quiet and clean and near some epic food spots! Loved this hotel and the staff was very kind and helpful!
Staff are really friendly, and the location is really convenient, its about 20min walk from tokyo station and about 20min walk from akihabara
Thankful for the helpfulness of the staff who helped us with keeping our luggage after checkout. Also pretty good breakfast that included yakisoba and silky scrambled eggs.
very nice room and service
The staff really, really try hard. That adds points. Thank you.
amazing
Great hotel minutes from Tokyo station!
Pleasant short stay! No issue
Friendly staff, speak english, station is a 5 min walk, safe area, quiet area, places to eay and convenience store also close by. This place had everything I needed, it was perfect. I will comeback next time I get a chance
Very friendly staff. Excellent location.
Not bad
The location is not too good. No AC in winter.
I had a wonderful stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kanda Otemachi. It was my first time in Japan and I was greeted warmly by Nicole at the front desk. She went above and beyond to help me throughout my stay. The entire staff was just as polite and accommodating. There were no issues communicating as most of the staff I encountered speak English. Even when the occasional language barrier arose, they patiently made sure to meet my needs. The room was comfortable to stay in. Cleaning was always prompt and professional. Highly recommend this property.
Great hotel
Great location, plenty of convenience stores around. Staff extremely polite and friendly. 5 min walk to Ginza Station.
Kanda station is about 15 min walk. A little bit convenient for places to eat.Hotel facility was great and newly renovated. Bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was not great and hope Sotetsu mgt will be aware of this feedback. For salad , corn, lettuce , onions and carrots are the only ingredients. Coffee, miso soup and eggs were served cold. Food are not refiled if you don't inform them. Same food was everyday and no variety at all. The breakfast served was worth we paid for. The breakfast area was dark like a bar environment and upholstery were filty. They had stains from spilled drinks or food. Next time we book this hotel, we won't include breakfast.
Stay was good. Staff very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Lots of good dining options all around, easy walking distance. A little noise from outside at night because of the nearby bars, but it was not enough to bother me and did not last too late. Thank you for a comfortable stay!
Great hotel
Hotel room was surprisingly bigger than I thought it would be. Bathroom was compact but perfectly amenable for a single person. Bed was really comfy and the pillow had some sort of cooling element in the bottom which meant it never got hot! The whole place was very clean and well-kept, and the staff are very helpful. The area around the hotel is fairly quiet, clean, with loads of places to eat and shops nearby. It’s not even a five minute walk from Kanda station which can connect you to any area of Tokyo. If you don’t mind walking, Akihabara is a 20 minute walk away, as is the main Tokyo station. Such a good base camp for a holiday, I’m very impressed!
Our stay was comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Our room was very clean, and although we had some difficulty adjusting the room thermostat we rested well. The breakfast was worth the cost with a wide variety of dishes. We did pay extra for a late check out which was very helpful. We would definitely stay again.
Nice hotel that give face mask, hair care right in the lobby. Comfortable bed and pijama.
Amazing see you guys next time
Really good location. Easy check in and check out. Staff spoke English very well and it was a great stay.
The room was small but cozy. Nice breakfast buffet.
The hotel has centralised air conditioning which was frustrating because the room was hot and the staff had the heating on. We opened the window but the surrounding area smells like smoke. When we asked the staff they told us to open the window and laughed. Also the beds are only a double bed which is very small for two people and uncomfortable. The only benefit is the many amenities the hotel offers including curling irons and extra pillows on top of bathroom supplies. Also the location was close to the station.
Very good stay- staff were friendly and very helpful! Room was clean and comfortable. Stayed for 12 nights and the hotel room served us well, very convenient access to the train station with several JR lines. Kanda area can be lively but hotel room was nice and quiet. Would definitely stay here again! :)
Central, close to trains
I didnt know anything about Kanda area . Kanda station was about 50m. Was pleasantly surprised with its access to the circle line and to Tokyo Station a pleasant 15min walk away. The room was small but comfortable and clean. I tried the breakfast, it was OK but prefered to eat out.
Nicole is very helpful in answering our queries! She provides the one of the best customer service that we have experience.
Very convenient location, with lotsa dining options around the train station. Short walk from the train station.
There were many dirt stains on the hallway carpet, could use steam carpet cleaning not just vacuuming. It would be nicer there are a bath towel & 2 hand towels per person, not just one hand towel, Thx
Close to metro station with several lines, plenty of affordable restaurants in the area. Hotel is modern and clean. Friendly staff.
5 Stars
The hotel was very clean, no smoke smell, the service was excellent and the room was a perfect size for one person. Lots of staff were available to help at all times, and they were very nice when I asked for help booking a taxi on checkout. It is a straight, flat 15 minute walk from Tokyo station (exit on the Maranouchi side. Exit M10 was good as there was an escalator there). Would be an easy walk without luggage. I would definitely book here again.
Great location great service
Very clean
The room was okay size for one person with a check-in and carry on luggage. Room was nicely quiet and I especially liked that you put yourself the notice if you wanted your room to be made up and the maximum time limit was till 12:00am so didn’t have to wake up super early! AC was also super quiet. Hotel has ice machine, microwave and a vending machine. Subway lines are fairly close to the hotel, about 6-8min walk. Staff were also very friendly and helpful. Would book again!
Beautiful property, clean, great staff and free amenities to pamper (face masks, bath salts), very comfy bed/pillows
The staff are very nice, warm, and helpful! We personally had a great welcome greeting from Nicole! She was super nice and personable when we checked in. Made check in and check out easy. They were able to hold our luggage when we checked in and out. The room was very clean and made it easy to ask for more towels. Hotel is just 5 min away from the station which could easily get to the main cities.
Hot
Great little hotel close to Kanda station.
Staff was amazing , always cordial! Rooms are clean and spacious I can’t wait to stay in their facility next time I come to Japan !
Easy check in , staff was friendly , and I love the grab and go section for amenities !
We felt welcomed. The staff were great, especially Nicole Co and Leung. Room was a bit small but the bed was very comfortable. Amenities were plenty and they even provided PJs. So cool! Good breakfast. I wish they could change the menu every two to three days. The restaurant furniture, especially the chairs, could use a facelift though. All in all, we loved it. Location is key. It's so close to the metro station and plenty of restsurants around.
It is about 15 minutes walk from the imperial palace, Tokyo station and Ginza. The staff are really nice and helpful. The breakfast is 1100 Yen/person and quality is good. The only issue I noticed was the bathtub and floor can be cleaned better.
Ms Nicole at front desk was very helpful and worked with big smile on her face.
Very nice staff. Very quiet and clean accomdation. Would recommend to all travelers!
The room was compact but very functional.
Small but clean space. Really easy to get around. Near to transportation, many restaurants, almost everything you’d need. Staff are really helpful and professional.
Very new and safe
It was perfect, thank you
장소가 좋아서 여행하기 딱이에요!
Good!
Damp washrooms, it stinks
We stayed 8 nights. It was a nice place, small but fine, staff were friendly, easy walking to Kanda station, food options within a short walk. Only reason I gave it 4 star was the breakfast - same EVERY DAY.
Good!
Only two laundry machines for 200 plus rooms.
Very convenient location!
Great location in central Tokyo in a non-tourist area so perfect for a business trip
I liked how quiet it could be and everything I needed was in the room
Clean, cozy rooms. Close to Tokyo station, Kanda station, very near dining streets, 15 mins walk to Akihabara
Good
Tis place have a lot of restaurants. Some near by street are quiet and some very busy. It is cob
very nice restaurant for breakfast - very helpful staff in the hotel
i love the place it’s so close to restaurant and tokyo station
Very close to Kanda rail station, but situated in a small street that's quiet and ideal for resting at night. Although, it is a bit of a hassle to grab all your amenities at the first floor before retiring to your room for the night.
The staff were so kind and helpful when I came in alone, and there were lots of amenities
Property is great value for the cost and is very conveniently located near the station. Internet speed is fantastic for those who need it.
Great location and perfect for rail connections. Akihabara walkable in less than 5 minutes.
Everything was great! Staff did not miss a beat on anything. Very professional operation, would definitely stay again or recommend.
We had a great stay here, the staff are kind, helpful and very attentive which made stay great. The room was clean, well equipped and had everything I needed. Thanks so much for a great stay, arigato gozaimasu!
Great hotel. In a fantastic location
Definitely a great budget inn! Amenities: Amenities include an assortment of daily essentials such as toothbrush, razors, q-tips, epson salt and more. This is common in many Japanese hotels, but great to know they provide it here too. You can also rent out certain appliances such as an ironing board, pillows and etc. Staff and Service: Staff were all friendly and helpful. A lot of training staff during my stay. Location and accessibility: Location is comfortable. It’s a bit further from major tourist areas such as Shinjuku or Shibuya but it's worth the distance as it feels a lot more comfortable. I did notice a lot of office workers in the area so beware of traffic hours in the metro! There were no groceries that I found in the area. It's close to the Otemachi and the Kanda station, about a 10 minute walk for both. Dining: Dining in the area was convenient but something I did notice was that there were a lot of izakayas, where everyone ate super quick and left after finishing up. Other locations we found we had to reserve. Cleanliness: Clean. Overall: Would recommend if someone is looking for a budget in a little away from the busyness of the city.
I enjoyed the attached restaurant. I was not sure about the surrounding eateries. I know now, that if I had asked, they could have provided me with a list of (I hope) recommended restaurants.
They helped us with a questions we had! They knew great English which made it super easy to check in.
Clean, affordable with unexpected great features like pajamas etc.
Super clean. Conve
It does the job for something close to the station and relatively clean. But the outside rim of my bath tub was quite dirty which is surprising for Japan. There isnt much attention to detail in room cleaning with some areas dusty. Also, housekeeping didnt take out all the rubbish despite me leaving a huge bag of rubbish next to the actual trash bin in my room. That was annoying.
Very clean and located at a convenient place.
Lots of food options around! You can walk to Akihabara in 15 mins, or also walk to the Imperial Palace in 20! Convenient location, and really nice rooms!
Very nice accommodation great staff and breakfast had great variety
Had a great time! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was small but that is expected. Close to train station and many restaurants.

It was my second stay in this property. The hotel is close to transportation. I liked the amenities and professionalism of the staff. Looking forward to more stays in this hotel.
