Awesome property.

While I’m aware there was a “snow storm” that really shut the city down for nothing. 1. No coffee. I worked down stairs in the business area. Asked for coffee and was told the lady who makes the coffee is gone so the front seat couldn’t make coffee. The bar area is 40 ft from the front desk. 2. The printer was broken. The front desk person told me I can’t send what I needed send to his email address and he can print it. Not comfortable with that. 2 key points that were missed. Specially with people who are in the area working.

The staff was wonderful. The room smelled stale and was very dusty. I had a 4 night stay, just decent.

The place is nasty. Carpet is brown, there was small Trash in the corners of the hallways when we arrived and still there 3 days later when we left.

Continental breakfast was not offered and you had to buy the breakfast downstairs

We booked a suite, which is clean and spacious. Staff are friendly. We really enjoyed the place and will surely come back next time we visit Dallas.

This rating is based on the price I paid, well under $100. If this was a $400 a night hotel, much different rating. It's clean, standard king room was nice enough and large enough. hotel was in good repairs. I've already booked my next Dallas stay at this hotel.

Had a great experience at this hotel. Staff was very friendly and made sure they answered all my questions. Even thought it was right off the expressway, the property itself along with hallways and common areas were very quiet and well lit. I felt safe at all times. I always had a place to park and it was in close proximity to the things I needed to do. I do wish they would consider updating their decor and carpet in the future. Other than that, it was wonderful. I’d definitely stay again.

I Have stayed at this hotel 3 times now and would stay again any day. Staff was extremely friendly and accommodating and they had a gym which is also a must for the hotels I choose. This stay was a breath of fresh air from the last property (Kasa Greenville in Dallas) which I recommend no one ever staying there.

Not for me

When we arrived the front desk for the morning was wonderful and got us checked in early but when we got to our room the electricity on one wall didn’t work. The telephone was pulled out the wall but the second front desk clerk offers to love us or maintenance to come up and fix it but maintenance had left so he ask did we want to check out and be refunded or change rooms but we really didn’t want to change rooms due to the extra cleaning we had done for preventative measures. We did get moved at our pace to a suite but it was handicap and inconvenient. We did have to re-clean another room and the door was horrible. But I was glad for the clerks service they did go above the average to help so I appreciate them but I will not be staying at that hotel again.

The bed was fine clean, room could have been cleaned better, but I'm very picky i look at corners which wasn't as clean as i would preferred. Another issue for me was the room had a mini fridge but no microwave i just didn't understand that, only microwave was in the lobby on the other side of the front desk. I was on the 6 floor very inconvenient.

This hotel was awesome for a great price. Will stay again if ever in the area.

I checked in and saw the area around. It looked like a run down apartment complex. I did not even go to the room at all. I went up the highway a few blocks and rented another hotel and had a great experience!!! YUCK!!

Maintenance is slipping

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times. Maintenance and cleanliness have slipped - carpets in the hallways and elevators are filthy. The draperies in our room literally had holes in them. The mattress lacked support and left both my wife and I with backaches.

Nice hotel.

Decent room but had plumbing issues

The bathtub faucet leaked, the toilet didn't seem to have the right level of water in it and the seat was moving when trying to sit on it, the sink seem backed up. Basically just plumbing issues and not too much problem. I was able to get by without those issues getting in the way.

The hotel was comfortable, with an excellent checking process and front desk associates. The hotel, and room, however, are quite used and the ambiance is dark with low lighting. The hallways - specifically, the carpet - are aged and in need of an upgrade or replacement. The bed was comfortable but the room was also aged.

Very bad experience. There was a strong mildew odor the whole time. We couldn’t sleep because men were shouting from the room next door and a dog was barking from the other side—very thin walls. The fridge didn’t work (the one time we brought drinks) and breakfast cost $15–not even complimentary coffee. For the price of the rooms…you can pay much less elsewhere and get breakfast. We checked out a day early and were told we could not get a refund for the second night.

I booked this place because it had a fairly good rating. But I was extremely disappointed in the property. It smelled old, my room was stuffy, it seemed dingy and in disrepair. It was not dirty per se but because of the stuffiness and disrepair it just felt “ickey”. The AC wall unit seemed dank and old. The folks loitering around the outside of the hotel seemed sketchy. And the highway noise was SO loud I could not sleep without constant interruption from the noise. Don’t be fooled by the ratings or the price! Go somewhere else!!

The manager was very rude for no reason when I asked him to clean the room. He got mad although I had reserve the Cleaning ahead of time didn’t seem to care. Shouldn’t walk in a hospitality business.

The staff at Sonesta was fantastic. The room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed the love seat and king sized bed in my room while resting during my stay. The only downside was stained hallways. Highly recommend for a short visit.

Property is right off of 75 and close to many things. We arrived later at night and front desk was prompt and helpful. The room was spacious and clean. Pillows and amenities could be improved. Don’t forget your cube to charge your phone - there are no phone chargers in room. Also pillows could use an upgrade. But otherwise fair property for fair price.

Overall, an excellent stay. Very clean and quiet. Only cons would be the temperature in the room was hard to control and you do need transportation to nearly all restaurants. Otherwise, very pleased with my stay.

2 day weekend

It was a great stay. Friendly staff, room was clean and comfortable. My fridge didn’t work. But we got ice from the machine. Loved the no smoking in the entire hotel. Felt safe and comfortable with our overall stay

The staff at this hotel went above and beyond even when there was a blackout, and the elevators weren't operating it was comfortable and clean, and everyone was so friendly. We will be going back for sure.

At the time of booking on orbitz, it said breakfast was included. The clerk informed me that coffee was the only think provided during the week. Breakfast is sometime provided on the weekend.

Excellent location and rooms.

I just loved how friendly every front desk person was. My flight was canceled and I had to fly into Houston so I was very very late to check in and the staff I spoke with were all so accommodating and understanding. I also loved the shower and the balcony and when I requested a late check in, they gave me an extra hour which was so appreciated. Honestly it was the staff that made my stay so wonderful.

There are apartments that are unmaintained next door, quite a feeling like my car was going to get broken into overnight. Also, i paid for the breakfast, but it wasnt the typical hotel breakfast, it was an extremely limited selection and the ladies behind the breakfast counter were extremely rude

Very well kept property for the most part. Ice machine was broken on our floor, the tv didn’t have a lot of channels to choose from and the water pressure in the shower was lacking. Other than that it was clean and comfortable. Our stay was just a short overnight but the room was great for the 2 of us.

I am a frequent business traveler and regular at this hotel. Overall I am always happy, but please change the sink in room 506.

Tv very small sitting on night stand

First night power went out in the area something that wasn’t the hotel’s fault. My overall experience was good. I would suggest not to pay for the breakfast Denny’s a nice walk is worth it instead of the hotel breakfast. I liked that there was a cvs , a pizza place, ice cream shop and a grocery store all near by. For the money I spent it was worth staying at this property.

The power went out during our stay. Nothing they could control, but it did last over an hour before we decided to find a different hotel. The front desk employee was very patient and handled guests well keeping a list of everyone who was leaving to provide to his manager for compensation. Well one week later and we tried to collect our refund for the stay we didn’t have and the manager refused a refund stating it went against their cancellation policy. Upon reviewing the policy, they don’t refund cancellations after 4:00 pm on the day of the stay…but they weren’t able to provide electricity for us to utilize lights, tv, or air conditioning, so not only were we charged for an uncomfortable one-hour stay, but of course I had to pay for an additional hotel for us to find at 9:00pm.

I think it's fair price to stay

It’s a solid place, but they are really cutting corners (no glassware in the room???). Front desk people were nice and accommodating. Five stars for free parking.
