Overall, everything was great with one issue. We seem two large roaches on the vanity sink overnight. Might consider more rigorous pest management.

Needed to stay for a night during a long road trip. Roach in the bathroom, smelly hallways, elevator never came and had to take the stairs when leaving, noticed scratch graffiti in the elevator when we got there. Just smelled old. Not refreshing at all. Oh and no warm cover on the bed. It was like two sheets. Come on Sonesta.

Elevator needs service

Checking was great The carpet was a little stained, there was no coffee maker asked for one never got it, light in the bathroom kept dimming and getting bright, elevator wasn't working correctly had to wait for them to fix it, AC did not work correctly. Hotel is in a great location outside is has a great presentation The rooms just need a little work even though it is pet friendly seems like it could be cleaned up a little better and use some kind of air freshener

Hotel is not clean , doors don’t lock , most of the hotel attendants are not nice . All around the hotel should be shut down!

It got the job done

Our five day stay was ok, the hotel was old and beat up. I start by saying customer service was great, but i was thrown off with so may displaced people, in the lobby, hanging out in the parking lot and the heavy traffic. I stayed in 217 and at first sight ok, it was descent and looked clean. As we settled noticed the carpet soaked from the bathroom,leaking from shower but unkown, next we only had one pillow, which i went the desk because our phone didn't work to ask for another pillow were i was told they had no pillows. Our ice bucket was molded, but it didnt matter because our floor ice machine was broken. The best part of my stay was its location closeness to everything. The worst thing was sharing short term stay with long-term stay, it felt imposed on. I forgot to mention no breakfast and barely any coffee. This hotel is not for families on vaction or visits, this hotel is great for kids playing boyfriend and girlfriend or extra sneaky links(affairs). In New York we call this Hotel no Tells. It's crazy to know you are in a dying hotel when you see the management and its family whats even worse is being bamboozled when hotel company sell their name to a dying hotel yet take no responsibility for a trash experience customers went through.

This motel it’s surely not an hotel, needs to be listed as such! The first room they assigned us had the worst stench, mattress drench in blood, sheets had blood on them, and couch was filthy have pictures to prove it! Second room the door was wide open, tv on showing only black and white pixels (so it was messed up) room was just as dirty! Plus this motel is also used as people’s home such as a stay lodge or extended stay! Which we were not aware of! We didn’t stay and they wouldn’t refund our money!

This hotel does not respect nor care for its customers. I had a horrible experience here! When you first walk through the doors all you smell is smoke! When I walked to the front desk there were two men talking to each other as I was just standing there and they noticed I was there continued to talk. Then I went into the elevator and the smoke smelled worsened! When I walked into my room the conditions were even worse! When I called the front desk to see if I could just do an early check out, he stated he would call the person who handle those situations and NEVER called back. So you don’t know how to do your job? Cool. I explained to him I am uncomfortable in my room because of the conditions and he sounded confused on what uncomfortable meant. Then I called back the next morning and I spoke with Michelle! She was amazing and moved me to another room since she knew off the top of her head it’s called “advanced check out” and explained my claim would not cover for it. All you hear is dogs barking! The housekeeper came to my room as stated and showed me my new room. It was better but it’s the carpet! They are old and need to be changed, the elevator, and the hotel needs to be changed as a WHOLE!! Then when I checked out AGAIN the two men are just having a conversation with each other again! With his back turned!! I could be anyone and you are not even paying attention!!! This is unacceptable as a business! -5 stars all across!

Loud Noice from Waterpipe

It was so loud from the water pipe no matter toilet flushing or showering from thte other room. Cannot get a good sleep because of it.

Not very clean and workers, hardly saw anyone

The service provided was extremely disappointing. The cleaning was not done properly, and the staff was not helpful at all. The lack of professionalism and effort made the experience frustrating, and overall, it was a very bad service. i would not recommend it to anyone looking quality and reliability.

My only complaint is that the food vending machine is expensive but that’s all vending machines these days lol There’s a new agent at the front desk that is SUPER KIND ! My fav staff member now. Think his name is Keem or something with a K. S/O to him !

Hotel was "ok." Lock on the door didnt operate sufficiently and the TV continued to go out. Shower drain also did not drain properly so taking a shower in about an inch of water on feet was not sanitary. Room was sufficient other than these things

Aged but comfortable

Property is showing its age but otherwise it is a nice hotel. Bed was comfortable. Room was roomy albeit a bit dingy but otherwise didn't have any issues with it.

Everything was nice… except the bathroom was too small. The water wasn’t hot in the shower. But otherwise beautiful and spacious.

Upon check-in there were no available rooms; wasn't allowed to check-in until 6:00 pm. Turned the TV on around 10:00 pm; No signal and had to wait until the next morning to restore service.

I liked the outside of the property and the location. I didn't like the service and room. The front desk clerk was not inviting. She checked me in but was having a conversation on the phone, nor did she answer the phone when we called several times from the room. The room had a horrible stench smell, smell of chemicals and it was unbearable to sleep there, so we had to cancel the room and find another hotel.

Noisy property

I stayed for weekend and upon arrival paid the deposit for my room which I was told would be fully refunded after checkout. My room was dirty, there were handprints on the windows, crumbs on the floor, a greasy film in the sink and aside from the overall feel of the room, the lamp by the bed was only able to be turned off by unplugging it while it was still on.. It has been a month and two weeks since I’ve stayed at this hotel and my refunded deposit is nowhere to be found. I have contacted the hotel and a representative from their rewards department and have not been able to receive any refund. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone and will be sharing my experience with those who seek help with travel plans.

The Dirtiest Hotel I've Ever Stayed In

I have never reviewed a hotel before. Most of the time, they're just fine. This place was so disgusting it was worth noting. The lobby had trash on the floor in front of check-in which I found odd. The girl at the counter was friendly, though. The elevators were old, scratched and tagged up. On my way to the room, I could hear hooting and hollering coming out of most rooms. The clientele are a wild bunch. My room was gross. The couch was stained and old. The carpet was old and full of random bits of crust. The bed sheets looked like they weren't changed and had paw print stains on them. The bathroom had random bits of hair all over it, and a large clump of hair under the toilet. The shower was also moldy. The walls were scuffed and the bed headrest had some strange stains on it. My window had, and I'm not even kidding, a bullet hole in it. I've stayed in budge hotels before, but none this bad. I was too tired to go find another hotel so I laid the discolored bath towels over the bed sheets and slept with my clothes on. I skipped the shower in the morning and got the heck out of there as fast as I could. Avoid at all costs if possible! Some pics attached for reference.

Roaches, no heat

I am not one who usually write bad reviews but this was the worst stay I’ve ever experienced. Our first room was dirty with a weird smell. We were going to let it pass until we saw 4 different roaches on the wall and bathroom floor. They changed our room to a room down the hall and I only accepted that because my grandmother also stayed next to us and she said she didn’t see any bugs so I took it as it was just that room. We got to the new room just to have limited hot water and the heater releasing cold air. Half the plugs in the second room didn’t work , the tv in the first room also didn’t work. Just an all around disappointment. I received %15 off but I feel like it should have been more. I’ll kindly never stay here again & I wasn’t the only guest who had problems.

Perfect hotel at cheap rates. I got mine for about $50/night. Highly satisfied and recommend.

We were trying to stay on going and the front desk associate would not allow us 30 more minutes to come up with $8.95 to extend our stay which resulted in having to pay an additional $75 for pet fees. It had taken most of the day to make the usual rent. We had to book another hotel.

The hotel needs major repairs! It’s disgusted and dirty. The rooms are dusty with dirty furniture. One of our rooms has actual dog poop on the carpet. We all were very itchy and are sinuses were very inflamed throughout our stay. From the lobby to the floors of the hotel it’s disgusting and unwelcoming. Needs new management or to be torn down and rebuilt. I have stayed at different locations but this one FAILED the Sonesto brand. Terrible experience.

I made a reservation about a week before my trip and held it with my card. I called on Wednesday to confirm my reservation that was on Friday. I was assured my reservation was in good order and received an email the next day saying how they were looking forward to our stay and that we were good to go. I called Friday on our way to the hotel to notify them we might check in late. I was told I didn't have a reservation, they were overbooked, and my card would be refunded. It was 8:00 PM and were were 2 states and 4 hours away. We weren't offered any explanation and no help in finding a place to stay. We told the desk clerk this wasn't acceptable, We had no where to stay, and had an early appointment on Saturday. He said there was nothing he could do and there was no management on site. We continued to explain we were in the middle of a 6 hour drive with nowhere to stay. After 20 or 30 minutes a room suddenly became available. It wasn't the type of room we reserved, having less beds and no bedding to use on the couch. The room wasn't very clean and we didn't have enough towels. This was a total disappointment and absolutely no way to treat guests. I won't be staying with Sonesta in the future and will make sure to warn friends about the shady way this hotel is operated.

Outdated, good service, drug deals in the lot.

We were given a room with no tv and was stinky. The next room was adequate, but needs serious updating. You could see 20 years ago it was pretty nice. Also, while in the parking lot, a man selling meth approached us to sell his drugs. I’m ok with cannabis sales, but meth just let us know we might have not chosen the right hotel for us.

I had to change rooms 2 times because tv service was down and they had police sting going on in room next door and they were capturing suspects and police canine walking through the hotel very uneasy feeling of a police operation going on around me

We requested house keeping at 8am, was told they would come. We left the hotel and returned after 8pm only to find that they never came to clean or bring fresh towels. The rooms are roach infested, bathroom tub clogged after running water for just a few seconds, carpets and couch inside the room were stained and the hallways stink badly. This is NOT a 3 star hotel like it says online. It’s more like a 2.

From the outside the property looks nice, lobby is clean and spacious. Location is great, near everything. Our King size quite was spacious; however, room may need more deep cleaning, better lighting. Bathroom room is very tiny, door actually rub the toilet all the time when closing and opening. Hot water in the shower takes a long time to heat up. Elevator really needs an update, very slow and only 1 working. If all those can be fixed, I believe this hotel has a lot of potential

First walk into the room, the sofa, table, got damaged. next morning we go down looking for the breakfast area is empty, the customer service said that been close for more like 4 week ago, when we book the room is said free breakfast, kids lay down on the floors hall way where our room at, the electrical for cameras is hanging out not sure , never come back to this place

I went to multiple rooms and they had no A/C. One cannot sleep without A/C. The guy at the front desk was incompetent. He told most all rooms were remodeled & there were thermostats on the walls. This is non sense!!! I took pictures and showed him that he didn't have a clue what he was talking about. The guy at the front desk had no answer as he was clueless. I left and went somewhere else.

I has spacious rooms. Separate sitting area was what I love. Only shower head was broken and can’t adjusted the direction needs to be. Price is also reasonable. I will book the next time I go there.

Ghetto roach hotel

The place was dirty old and everything was broken. It has roaches and does provide even the most basic hotel amenities like breakfast, toiletries in the room and coffee. There were people living in the rooms premenantly and the trash cans in the hallways were over flowing. It was nothing like the online advertisement.

Weekend trip

Weekend trip. Room was a great size for our family but very dirty. The hotel itself is very dated. We stayed on the third floor. The ice machine room had so much trash pile up for two days and there was a really bad smell (not just from the trash). The hallways smelled and our room had a bad smell. There was also a little mildew in the bathroom. If was okay for the amount of time we were there .

Run from this place. I have never been to such a nasty hotel . My suite was filthy bed lamp didn’t work, bathroom nasty, carpet on floor was filthy and sticky and bedding was old worn poor condition .

Cash deposit for the room and poor customer servic

Room is outdated and furniture is in bad condition. I have to put cash deposit bc their machine not taking credit card. When checking out, I have to wait for the manager to get there at 930 so I can get my deposit money back from them. There is only one working elevator. Front receptionist has poor customer service. Also I found few bugs in the room. I was there for 4 days and they never change the bed sheets or towels. I stayed here couple years back and it was not this bad shape but I am not return to this motel.

The property was quiet. It was in perfect proximity of the interstate, many shops and many different dining options. The staff was friendly. On the other hand, the place was very outdated, the rooms have an odor, there was no continental breakfast, all yhe ice machines were dwn except 1 and no vending machines for water, snacks, etc.

Pros- comfortable bed, AC worked well, a lot of parking spaces, and location was good around different stores and restaurants. Cons- Very outdated the carpet was very dirty. Window privacy shades were missing, only had sheer curtains. Only one elevator was working so it took long to get to your room.

Absolutely terrible

I booked this Hotel for a friend taking his first travel assignment to work in a nearby hospital who needed help. He reported to the desk that the room smelled of urine and the toliet was backed up. The shower was also missing a door. The girl at the desk handed him a plunger and said to return in the morning. This is has me outragged. Ive been calling them all day with no answer. I finally get through and im placed on hold for 30 minutes then they hung up on me. I am furious! You have lost our business along with all the other travelers I had planned on sending your way. Room NOT as advertised. Whole area sketchy. Hotel starting at the elevator is gross smells funny has graffiti in it. Rooms were worst floors had multiple stains. Graffiti in the rooms on everything and walls. Stains on the furniture. Coming from leaving 2nd hurricane Milton in 2weeks our stuff was packed have service animal asked could we just check in while I get out bags was told no would have to show proof first. No grace and it was so nasty an rooms smelled bad. Go to ES locations in Alpharetta much better safer area rooms were great. Never stay at this location unless you use drugs

The room could have been cleaned better, there were stains on the comforter. The tv and the refrigerator did not work. They did send someone from maintenance and the tv was fixed and the fridge replaced, however it took several hours before he arrived. Also the maintenance person received a FaceTime call while repairing the tv. He took the call and held a conversation while fixing the tv. Please keep in mind we were sitting in the room. He had a very lengthy conversation all which we overheard. The hallways were also pretty filthy.

Please avoid staying at this hotel at all COSTS! This hotel is in a diabolical condition, it’s not even fit for animals. I was checked into room 403 and I checked out after 2 minutes of walking into that room! Food stains all over the floor, and fresh food stain I might add. My shoe got stuck to one of the stains on the carpet, so you can imagine the level on cleanliness! I have NEVER experienced a hotel in such shocking condition. The hotel pictures have clearly been taken in its early days and are not a reflection of the current condition in the slightest.

Unacceptable service

Right just after midnight due to the weather conditions. When I arrived, I was told that the rooms are on the first come first serve basis and I no longer had a king size and was being offered a double beds. I didn’t understand that because I had already paid for the room king size room. I was never offered, another king size when it became available, there was only one elevator working. The phone in the room didn’t work. The coffee maker didn’t work. I was able to get a replacement for that. Was running throughout the halls at between 2 and 4 AM The location was convenient to the nearby shopping and restaurants.
