Great place

Not worth the bargain.

This place was dark and not bright at any point of the day like the photos. It’s all self check in so there is an app you speak to meaning response time is not prompt. The bathroom was dirty there were bugs in the shower and on our towels. The Wi-Fi didnt work the entire time I was there.

Sonder parian is not what it appears to be. For starters there was hair on the bathroom walls. The google chromecast tv never worked even contacted support twice about it. Ran out of toiletries well you have to wait 24 hours to get them replenished. And if you are looking for some peaceful time in mexico well i hope you are ok with sharing the one pair of earplugs they provide because theres a bar downstairs open every day. Skip this property just visit if u want that photo for the gram.

I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer service I experienced during my recent stay. Unfortunately, my stay was marred by several incidents that significantly impacted my overall experience. Upon checking into my room, I was upset to find that the temperature was unbearably hot. Despite my repeated requests, no action was taken to resolve this issue and I was left to suffer in the heat without any relief. Furthermore, despite requesting a spare fan to alleviate the heat, none was delivered, and I was left to endure the uncomfortable conditions. The heat left me feeling ill due to the temperature and confinement of the room. Additionally, I was extremely dissatisfied with the lack of basic amenities such as towels, cleaning supplies, and trash bags. It was very inconvenient for me to not have any means to clean the room or take out the trash, which led to an unpleasant odor in the room. Moreover, the noise level in the hotel was intolerable, and no warning or heads-up was given to me by Expedia before my stay. This was a major disruption to my peaceful enjoyment of the hotel and added significant stress to my stay. To add insult to injury, I was not permitted an early check-in despite my request, and to my shock and dismay, I was locked out of my room prior to check-out time. This left me stranded and in an incredibly inconvenient situation that could have been avoided

Even though the property was above a shopping center and a dj bar, the room was surprisingly quiet once the door was shut. The room was modern and clean with a comfortable bed and great TV. There was access to drinkable water that you could fill up a water bottle at. The bath products were good quality and the Sonder app allowed for a request for house cleaning if you needed it during your stay. Steps away from amazing restaurants and parks, this was the perfect place for me to end my week in Mexico City.

The check in experience is extremely mismanaged. Guest receives instructions upon self check-in through their portal. If you don't do this way in advance, you wouldn't know that you're arriving at a property with no amenities. You end up walking 3 blocks with your large suitcases under the rain to leave your luggage at a shared closet with no security guarantee. The person opens the door for your is hard to communicate not only for the language barrier but also unwelcoming. The room doesn't have any AC only a small, loud portable fan and impossible to sleep with windows open with the loud street and bar noise. Only advantage is the location.

Overall price point for this property and location are excellent. The room had some wear and tear ( dirty walls in the bathroom ) check in it’s not until 4pm and when we got there the room was not ready yet. Gets a bit loud due to the bars downstairs. Not many amenities in the hotel, restaurants , bars and cafes downstairs are a bit expensive, however you are walking distance to some of the best street food. Overall I’d stay again in this hotel due to the location.

Pros: We loved the property's trendy vibes and central location, in the heart of Roma Norte. Most bars and restaurants were within a 5-10 minute walking distance. You can walk to Condesa (10-15 minutes), Polanco (30-40 minutes), Juarez (30-40 minutes), and Centro (50 minutes). The aesthetic was simple and refreshing. We appreciated the onsite water dispenser and luggage storage option (at nearby sonder tonala). Cons: Rooms appear much cleaner in photos than in reality. Due to its location above bars, it is very loud until ~2am. We had to use ear plugs every night. Our main complaint, however, was the lack of security and privacy. The wooden shutters for each room are located on the exterior, so strangers walking by can actually adjust the blinds to look into your room. There are no curtains. We felt nervous to leave our belongings in the rooms. And because of this, we would not recommend staying here.

It is not the property that is the problem is Sander, the management company that is the problem. After excepting my money they send me an email asking me to send them a selfie my My credit card number, and a copy of my passport. In this day and age of identity theft that’s unacceptable so I chose to not except their conditions of check-in. This all happened within 24 hours of making the booking. Sander informed me they have a three day before checking cancellation policy. I didn’t book the room until one day before and, there was never any mention of me having to send selfies and all my personal identity stuff to a website that can’t even tell me who the third-party company is that collects my information. I spoke on the phone with the representative from Sonder enjoyed the call to a representative from Expedia. The representative from Sander only repeated we have hold our three day cancellation property at nausea like 20 times in a row Reading from a script. He then hung up on the Expedia representative and left the two of us on the call scratching our heads. I don’t recommend booking anything that is managed by Sonder. They did not refund my booking even though It was less than 24 hours from the time I made the booking and I requested the cancellation after they told me of their check-in policy. There is no mention anywhere that is their policy and it is not acceptable To be clear they took my money before they told me their terms And would not refund it After I got them.

If you book here be ready to jump through some major hoops to be able to check, set up an account, download an app, go through an online verification process, wait for a response. They don't effectively notify guests of this requirements. I suppose they assume people read their reservations confirmation emails completely. Make sure you read it! Property and room is small but well designed and clean.

Such a lovely place to stay. So clean and such nice decor. However, sooooo noisy. Earplugs were available. But the noise wasn't from the evening but from the extremely loud gym class from 6am!!!!!

I’m afraid I can’t recommend this property. It’s inside an open air shopping center and is very noisy. While Sonder warns in advance about street noice, the vast majority of the problem noise comes not from the street but rather from inside the building. There is a restaurant/bar that goes on until 11–12 at night. I might have dealt with that OK, but the early morning noise was unforgivable. The first morning I was there, some office or shop downstairs blasted club music at 7:30 AM. It’s a new property, so Sonder may remedy the noise issue, buy I strongly urge checking and double-checking the current situation before booking. After a day of back & forth with their contact center, Sonder graciously moved me to another one of their properties.

Location is great, and the hotel is charming, but

There is no reception and their system is the worst. They changed my room for no reason and forced me to check out at 11 am to check in again at 4 pm, they literally leave you on the street because there is no personal attention until the system lets you enter the property, the place is nice and well located but noisy, very noisy

Hotel is very cute and in a perfect location. Was worried about the noise but it wasn’t an issue. Tons of great restaurants and coffee shops and things to walk to, would definitely stay here again. Bring a humidifier or something if you aren’t used to the dryness of this elevation.

Beautiful & central but way too loud!

The hotel was pretty and clean but the 2 bars underneath the hotel made our stay kind of suck. The noise bounces up and around to the top floor where the hotel is and it is so loud to the point of ridiculous. I am not one to complain about people partying, normally I can ignore but this was something else! This place needs to work something out with the 2 bars or I don't see how it can stay in business. Also our door code to our room was finicky. Had to punch the numbers in sometimes several times to open the door. I didn't hate the experience but did not love it here either.

El Pairán is beautiful, it’s located in an excellent spot. I followed the recommendations and had dinner at Sesame and breakfast at Marcel. The room was spotless, and they follow all the higiene and safe measures. I felt comfortable all the time with the contactless check in and check out. The room was lovely and the WiFi is excellent for work. I would absolutely recommend Sonder El Pairan to anyone who wishes to have an authentic local experience in Mexico City. Definitely considering this spot for future stays :)

Me encanto el lugar muy acogedor. El estilo me encanto entre vintage y moderno. Los cuartos de muy buen tamaño, con todo lo indispensable, la cama muy cómoda, que eso me parece muy importante. El equipo de sonder de primera, lo que necesitabas o tenías dudas, te atendían y resolvían rápido. Muy buena estancia. Todo te queda muy cerca caminando.

Loved El Parian’s centric and convenient location in the heart of La Roma. Very cool building and the rooms were so comfy. Check in and check out were a breeze and the support team was ready for answer any questions I might’ve had. Overall a great Sonder experience!

Mi estancia en este lugar fue realmente excepcional, especialmente si eres alguien que valora la privacidad y la independencia durante tu viaje. Este establecimiento es único en su tipo, ya que no cuenta con personal ni recepción propios de un hotel convencional. Las habitaciones se encuentran en la planta alta del edificio, mientras que la planta baja alberga un pasaje comercial. Esto significa que durante las tardes, siempre hay una gran cantidad de actividad en el área, lo que brinda una experiencia dinámica y emocionante. Además, cabe destacar que hay personal de seguridad en la entrada, lo que añade un nivel adicional de tranquilidad. En resumen, si buscas un lugar que te ofrezca independencia y privacidad en un entorno lleno de actividad y seguridad, este es el lugar perfecto para tu estadía. El unico detalle es en fin de semana porque hay un bar debajo entonces si sera un poco ruidoso si mantinenes las ventanas abiertas, sin embargo te proporcionan tapones para los oidos como sugerencia.

Demasiado ruido desde siclo en las mañanas y en las noches de los restaurantes, imposible descansar

Es hotel es muy lindo, gran zona. Es algo ruidoso pero está bien. Lastima que hice solicitud de toallas, de jabón y café y nunca llegaron. Así mismo el tapón del baño estaba terrible e hizo que se inundara un poco el baño, se aviso y se solicitó el arreglo y nunca se hizo.

Es dificil descansar con el ruido que hace el gimnasio de abajo a partir de las 6:00am

Endroit très très bruyant à cause d’une salle de gym a même l’édifice, musique à tue tête et ventilation ahurissante de très tôt le matin à très tard le soir! Vraiment décevant sur ce point puisque l’emplacement la propreté étaient très bien!
