The staff was so kind and welcoming. My boyfriend got sick during our stay and they responded to our requests very quickly. Building and amenities are more outdated than they appear in the pictures so overall comfort was okay.

Great staff and service, can walk into town, shuttle bus available

From the moment we entered we felt very much at home, welcomed by the genuinely attentive staff. We were upgraded to a room with an amazing view which was spotless and very comfortable. The breakfast was amazing and the kind receptionist went by every guest to make sure they were well taken care of. Short walk to the old town, but also a shuttle available if needed. Would wholeheartedly recommend to stay here.

This property was amazing. The room size were big and very clean. Breakfast buffet spread was awesome. So close to Ancient town. Would ve a great base for day trips to Da Nang and neighboring sites. Staff service was amazing. I will go back to this property for sure. I highly recommend this property.

I want to go back to Hoi An purely because of this hotel! It was amazing from the start. It's tucked away from the busy part of the city. They were welcoming upon arrival and got us a welcome drink and instantly got us a room (with the 2 beds I requested). The room was immaculate. The bathroom was so peaceful and beautiful. The pool was amazing!!! Free breakfast was even better. I miss this hotel!

Overall it was a good stay for us. Only issues were the limited choices of breakfast spread.

We are so glad to stay at this hotel as we did not want to be in the old town - too crowded and touristy. Son Hoi A was as beautiful as the photos and all the staff were so kind and helpful. I was traveling with my elderly mother who needed a lot of care and attention, and they were very patient and aware of her needs. I myself also needed medical attention, and the staff were very good at escorting me to medical Center and translating and helping me understand what my options were. In addition, while quieter than the old town, it was so great to have the local coffees and casual eateries just in the area by the hotel. Thank you to all the staff.

We stayed for 3 nights here as part of our 2 week honeymoon traveling throughout Vietnam. We excited to see Hoi An and stay with this boutique place which looked like just what we wanted from the photos. We checked in during the Tet holiday & advised on arrival that some services would not be running like the shuttle bus and the market - no issues at all and we were appreciative of the information. We w Bit of an odd moment when the receptionist suddenly snapped at my husband because he was trying to clarify & understand her response to a question on the map. It was actually funny in an awkward way as I then joked with my husband that he’s never been spoken to like that by an Asian woman despite being married to one! For me the most disappointing thing was breakfast. the western hot foods, breads, pastries were not fresh. There was little variety and none of it was replenished after 9am if it ran out (we didn’t make breakfast before so couldn’t comment), it was definitely not a 5 star breakfast and progressively worse across three days.

Wonderful experience!

This was our first trip to Vietnam and we spent majority of time in Hoi An. This hotel was wonderful! We had a great location to walk into town, but still quiet and peaceful at night. The staff are above and beyond accommodating, the breakfasts were wonderful, and the property is well maintained. We were sad to leave!

We enjoyed stay at Son. The hotel was lovely, the staff were brilliant and its a short walk to all the action. Breakfast was great too!

Wow the pictures of this hotel don’t lie! We stayed in the suite and it was gorgeous. Hotel staff are so friendly and helpful. Really easy walk to old town. Very clean and inspiring interior design. Relaxed atmosphere. Had a fabulous massage at the spa. Highly recommend!!

Son Hoi An is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The grand suite room was fantastic but above that is how good the staff and services are. They were all attentive and happy to help with any enquiry. The services are superb at the hotel. The restaurant was so good we ate there twice. Laundry is cheap and efficient - we had it returned within hours. The spa is excellent and extremely reasonably priced. The hotel arranged return transfers to the airport. Overall I would definitely encourage anyone visiting Hoi An to stay in this hotel.

Very nice hotel, staff are nice and breakfast is good.

Really disappointed with stay. Our room was incredibly loud next to lift shaft and other room noise was terrible. The sliding door in room didn’t lock. Some staff were nice. We not stay again - very poor value for money compared with other hotels in area.

Son Hoi An -- what a find! For the value you cannot stay at a better place in the area. The staff are attentive and solicitous; the rooms are quirky and remarkably spacious. I would recommend any friend visiting Hoi An to stay there. I'm hard-pressed to believe there is a better hotel in the area for the price and location!

Beautiful Hoi An

It’s pretty much a new hotel. Love the French vibe it gave. However, the walls were so thin that footsteps, voices from the pool and dining area can be heard from the room. Prompt and friendly service.

Look no further for a great stay!

A fabulous find! Staff exceptional especially Hong, Lanh and Mrs Trang in the restaurant who really made our stay special. Food excellent and beautiful decor. Great value for money in a quieter area but still very convenient for everything. Well done to the complete team for adding to the enjoyment of our holiday!

Best Hoi An stay

I cannot rave about this beautiful hotel enough. This is the place to stay in Hai An! The service was excellent and very kind, the hotel is beautiful, and the location was perfect! Do yourself a favor too and order their salt coffee and visit their spa! Absolute heaven!

Great Stay with Excellent Service at Hoi An Hotel

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at this hotel in Hoi An. Though it's located slightly away from the ancient town, we were able to use the complimentary bicycles provided by the hotel to get there in no time. We were pleasantly surprised when the hotel staff upgraded our deluxe double room to an executive suite. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. All the staff members were friendly, polite, and willing to assist with anything we needed. The breakfast options were not extensive, but they were all delicious and satisfying. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hoi An.

This boutique hotel is beautifully appointed with generous rooms that are comfortable and quiet, excellent TV and comfortable beds. Although it is a decent (5 minute) walk to the old town this is one of its strengths as it is out of the touristy busy area that can be overwhelming. The daily breakfast was exceptional and catered for my daughter and I who cannot eat gluten. The value for money was also great. The best part of our stay were the staff who were so warm and friendly and accommodating. The hotel manager, the bar tender, the reception staff, wait staff and bell men all went out of their way for us checking on us everyday and going beyond to help us. This is easily one of the best hotel experiences that I have come across particularly in terms of their service. Our family would recommend The Son Boutique Hotel and Spa to anyone. The pictures look stunning but it is even more beautiful in real life. If you are looking to genuinely relax in Hoi An this is your place. This is the smallest of details but the water pressure isn’t great when showering but this is nothing to us but I want to be honest. Also in the pool the spa isn’t a hot tub it is just a different section of the pool…again this doesn’t really matter to our family but it’s important to be honest. We do hope to return.

Beautiful hotel with nice decor. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast buffet was great. Walking or biking distance to shops/restaurants. Hotel is alittle hidden from main streets so confusing to find initially.

The decor was lovely. However, the room we booked wasn’t so much! We booked what we thought was one of their better rooms. However it was painted dark red and was very dull. It also had a bad smell coming from the drains. The bath on the balcony looks lovely however, is not private as the people in the room next door can see over their wall. The staff did offer us another room but it was the only room they had available. This room was beautiful. The decor was so much nicer but unfortunately, it was a family room with no balcony. The breakfast was the poorest breakfast that I think I have ever had in a hotel. I feel bad writing this review because the staff here are very nice and helpful.

Wonderful

The hotel was fantastic in every way! We will return. I wish i knew the name of the young woman that was in the bar area and breakfast area. We saw her everyday and she was so kind. I miss her beautiful smile.

올드타운과 거리가 조금 떨어져 있었지만 조용해서 좋았음. 올드타운은 걸어서 10분 거리고 주변에 큰 호텔과 마사지 샵이 많이 있음. 조식은 맛있었고 직원들이 아주 친절했음

I never come back this hotel

Near hotel was a lot of RATS, in the room was imposible sleep you can hear your neigbours speaking, watching TV, the breakfast was very bad you only have one kind of coffe and if you want otjer you must pay for it, the sweets things was very bad

The employees were so nice and helpful! They offer a shuttle to go to old quarter which is nice.

とにかくオシャレで可愛いホテルでした。賑やかなエリアから少し離れているので夜も静かで過ごしやすかったです。自転車を貸してくれるので買い物や食事に行くのも便利でした。空港への送迎はタクシーを手配してくれるので安心でした。朝食の種類も多く大変満足でした。スタッフのみなさんはフレンドリーでとても親切でした。ホイアンに行く事があればまた泊まりたいホテルです。

メールでの問い合わせ等　とても早い対応して頂き、ホテル自体もとても清潔でインテリアも想像通りでした。 立地もすごく良くてマイナス点が見当たりませんでした。

Staff is so kind and Warm-hearted. I was very comfortable, because the surroundings are quiet. My child could sleep soundly. l’d like to use this hotel again, If i will come back to HOI AN some day.

溫馨的旅店

早餐是當地的食物，好吃，咖啡也好喝，房間非常的乾淨，床也舒服， 可以在陽台上泡澡非常棒 有位會說中文的櫃檯小姐非常友善，當然我們許多忙， 飯店有提供洗衣服的服務1公斤5萬， Spa 也舒服，推薦喔。

とにかくインテリアが可愛い！ 新しいのかお風呂もバスタブも綺麗かった。 ホイアンまで自転車で10分もないので自転車を借りれるのは良かったが、子供用140cm用などがあればなお良かった！ スパも気持ち良かった、プールもなかなか。朝ごはんは普通だった。

Awesome stay

写真の通りとてもかわいいホテルでした！ スタッフも困っていることがあればすぐ対応してくださって、皆さん過剰ではないですが優しくしてくれます。 市街地までは多少歩きますが、静かで近くにカフェやマッサージ屋さんもあって便利です。 朝食ビュッフェの麺類が他のレストランより美味しかったです！ 2泊したのですが、金庫の使い方が難しく最後まで使えなかったこと以外は完璧でした。 ホテルを通しての送迎サービスも時間ピッタリでした。 ちなみに自転車は借りられますが、道がデコボコしていたり車とバイクが多いので危険かなと思いかりませんでした。 本当にありがとうございました！
