Taxi driver /scheduling person promises good deal and good prices but once you schedule the ride he goes awat and another person comes charges way more, no promised discounts and just bluntly lies and scams . Reception desk was asked to give us a good room for apur Aniversary stay but we got the room worh broken ac and lots of noise next doir something was getting build or something next to our toom. Would not come back to this resort

Animation team was very entertaining ,friendly and welcoming , staff all over the property was super helpful ! Sayeed ( mr bean ) at the main restaurant was funny and super helpful ! The over all vibe of the resort force you to cheer up and have a great time no matter what your mood is ;) My boys loved the ( entertainer of short stature) he was super nice !! And we thank him for the good time we had ! Also big shout out to Mustafa the dive instructor who managed to make us all feel comfortable enough to try diving even my 10 year old who usually panics had an unforgettable experience !! Thank you all we will defiantly be back !

The property and staff are amazing. What was unacceptable was the poor food quality. My son refused to eat during the 3 night stay. It’s quite disappointing since everything else was on point. I would have been prepared to pay more if that meant no compromises on the quality of the food in this all inclusive stay. Again through the staff were amazing and did what they could to handle our concerns.

Fantastic hotel and the restaurant staff was amazing and attentive! Good variety of food. Only negative was the amphitheater where the nightly entertainment was held- VERY VERY uncomfortable. No back and you are sitting on concrete no chairs.

What I liked was:- The food and the variety of it. The housekeeping staff were helpful. What I did not like:- The reception staff are gloomy and unfriendly. The beach was full of Jellyfish and there was no warning signs at all as if they were not bothered about the peoples’ safety. The animation team members and most of the staff prefer to engage with others nationalities but not Egyptians which is sad to see that in your country.

We had a family room - was clean big and spacious -unfortunately no WiFi in rooms we knew this before staying - available in public areas and on the balcony of the room. We had the all inclusive package food choice was amazing and even had 2 on-site a la carte restaurants (oriental and Italian) all local liquor included as well and you can pay extra for the imported stuff. Rooms cleaned daily - hotel had its own private beach and multiple pools - loads of relaxation space outside and the animation team were fab- always trying to get us involved in everything. Fab fab fabbbb hotel!!

Very well maintained, clean and beautiful. The beach is amazing , very clean and beautiful. We didn’t have time to use the pool while we were there but it looked very clean and was very spacious. Our stay was all inclusive , the food was good enough for us to come back. We had to check out earlier due to flight issue and was able to get a refund for the remaining days. Thanks a lot for everything. I will definitely be back very soon

Одно слово - ВЕЛИКОЛЕПНО - может описать полноту впечатлений об отдыхе в Solymar Soma Beach. Несколько бассейнов с разной глубиной, достаточно шезлонгов. Аква-горки для детей в мелком бассейне (60см), которые не оставляют равнодушными и взрослых (когда из огромной бочки льётся водопадом вода). Рядом детский клуб - на качели можно прийти в любое время, аниматор занимается с детками по расписанию. Плюс вечером мини-диско. Пляж хороший с постепенным входом в воду, чистая вода, только песок под ногами. Это значит, что аквашузы точно не понадобятся. Еда разнообразная, вкусная, приготовлено с душой. Мест всем хватает - хоть в главном ресторане, хоть в пляжном. В барах вкусный кофе, коктейли. Guest Relations Люба - ангел-хранитель этого отеля, заботится о гостях и их комфорте. Персонал очень вежливый, дружелюбный. Где бы ты ни проходил - все улыбаются, здороваются. Ты чувствуешь себя желанным гостем! Не зря менеджер говорит «Welcome home». Отдельные слова благодарности хочу выразить Любе, шеф-повару Мохамеду и другим работникам F&B за поздравление моей жене на день рождения. Сюрприз в ресторане был яркий и запоминающийся. Другой сюрприз приготовил наш уборщик Мохамед в номере, спасибо за заботу! Solymar Soma Beach подойдёт семьям с детьми, парам и тем, кто просто хочет насладиться отдыхом без суеты, особо никуда не выезжая (за пределами отеля ничего нет, до Хургады ок.50 км). Мы обязательно вернёмся сюда снова. Это идеальный отель от А до Я.

Amazing hotel

The hotel is amazing and staff were very professional and helpful it was a great trip

It was a marvellous vacation ! The beach is beautiful, safe for adults and children. Facilities at the beach are very convenient, nothing is lacking. The pool is also fantastic. Rooms are very well equipped, very spacious, with comfortable beds, nice bathroom (we got two with garden view). The staff at the restaurant, especially Mohamed Aly, was always ready to help. Very attentive to our needs. Mr Hany El Alfy is the example of the perfect manager. We even saw him collecting tiny pieces of litter while going from the beach to the main building. Is there someone more devoted than this ? In a nutshell it was a fantastic experience we are thinking to repeat soon !

I had a perfect days in safaga. I did enjoy my vacation in Solymar hotel. The place was pretty new for almost 3 months.

Cons: The beach wasn’t as clear as I expected. The AC was too high in the buffet lobby which caused my food to get cold and dry easily. There were minor dry food such as salads was the same and tasted bitter. I had dry turkey and steaks and some food was presented the same everyday which was a little boring to eat. :( Pros: I love how the resort is gated and safe to be in and not too crowded. Amazing friendly people with a couple of fun activities. I really enjoyed the hospitality, greetings and the excellent customer service since I walked into the door with the family. I like how they have bars, food (Buffet) and snacks where it’s indoor and outdoor. The pool was definitely fun and enjoyable with music. I love how they did birthday celebration. That got me surprised and geeked! I would DEFINITELY come back just for the customer service and the people!!!! :)

A holyday to be memorable

A place you can creat a great memories! Lets begin from chick in, they called me 2 days before chicking in and ask about my favorite location of room and if I need an extra bed or not and they ask me to send them my passport pics so they can do a 5 min chick in! And yes they did it! Staff had only one mission, making guests satisfied! And yes we were Cleanliness, it was very clean Service the best Any complain is a big issue for them and they take it seriously Food was not the best, some days will be great and others not that good but if you complain to chef Mohamed Azab, he will make your favorite dish as soon as possible, nothing impossible for him except leaving you unpleasant. General manager Hany Alalfy was their to make sure that everything is ok Bars serving a great cocktails (rare to find this point with all inclusive reservations) Rooms are big, new and really nice Kids club was in maintenance Beach is one of the best in Hurgada, Crystal clear water, clean and great for kids and adults Beach bar is perfect with great service 2 hours as late checkout for free And they gave me a lunch box for the road :) Disadvantages: Water pressure was really poor, so you can't have a good shower Animation team was poor but not a big issue for me Mini Aqua park was not the best as it has som engineering issues Finally you must enjoy this place and i recomend it for families for long stays

Leider war mein Besuch im Solymar Soma sehr enttäuschend. Das Essen war schrecklich und hat bei mir Durchfall verursacht, was meinen Aufenthalt erheblich beeinträchtigt hat. Das ist einfach inakzeptabel. Die Lage ist jedoch in Ordnung; der Strand und das Meer sind wirklich schön und bieten eine angenehme Kulisse. Das Personal war zwar in Ordnung und hat sich bemüht, aber das konnte die negativen Erfahrungen mit dem Essen nicht wettmachen.

L’hôtel a beaucoup de charme, il est très bien entretenu et très propre. L’arrivée a été difficile car pas eu la chambre que je pensais avoir réservé. Est-ce un problème venant de mon opérateur ou de l’hôtel? Pour 3 personnes, on avait que 2 lits et rajouté dans la journée un pauvre lit d’appoint, mais aussi le courant sautait toutes les 2 minutes. J’ai fini par changer de chambre avec un vrai lit. Sinon, le wifi !!! Il y en avait pas partout dans l’hôtel, seulement dans les communs, mais après discussions avec les managers, celui-ci était en cours d’installation et je confirme qu’il a été installé dans les chambres. L’animation est top ! Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. Le restaurant égyptien est vraiment bon! Je recommande cet hôtel qui est aussi excellent pour les enfants. Je trouve que tout est bien pensé. Régulièrement, le personnel passe vers les clients afin de donner leurs avis et mettent tout en œuvre pour satisfaire sa clientèle, bravo pour ça aussi ! Un grand merci à la manager qui parle le français et qui a été au petit soin avec nous.

Leider sind die Menschen nicht lernfähig, sie packen soviel essen auf den Teller und die Hälfte wird weggeworfen. Unterkunft ist angenehm und man hat von allem genug, Platz, Essen, Trinken, Pool alles Tipptop. Leider ist rundherum nichts keine Läden, Supermarkt oder Markt.

Sauberkeit: Zimmer sehr sauber. In der Dusche waren kleinere Stellen defekt. Kleiner, unwesentlicher Abzug dafür. Personal: Für unseren Geschmack schon zu aufdringlich. Die Ägypter sind sehr sehr nette Menschen (in der Erwartung eines Trinkgeldes :)). Folgt das nicht, kann der zweite Cocktail schon mal komplett anders schmecken.. Abzug für die Unterschiedliche Qualität. Hinweis Tauchschule im Hotel: Meine Partnerin wurde von einem polnisch sprachigen Mitarbeitenden der Schule verbal sexuell belästigt. Uns ist aufgefallen, dass er sich ungefragt zu anderen weiblichen Gästen auf die Liege gesetzt und die Nähe gesucht hat. Unprofessionelles Vehalten - wir empfehlen definitiv alternative Anbieter! Lage: Ideale Lage für einen Ausflug nach Luxor, da die Fahrtzeit im Vergleich zum Start in Hurghada eine Stunde kürzer ist. Jedoch recht weit, um andere Ausflüge Richtung Makadi/Hurghada zu unternehmen. Wir empfehlen einen Aufenthalt in z.B Makadi Bay als „Zwischenlösung“. Einer der beiden Pools war außer Betrieb. Essen & Trinken: Allgemein gute Qualität. Leider gibt es keinen frischen O-Saft. Am An-/Abreisetag lässt die Qualität des Buffets zu wünschen übrig. Fazit: Die hervorragende Bewertung des Hotels auf Google (4,9 Sterne) ist für uns nicht nachvollziehbar. Wir würden 3,5-4 von 5 Sternen geben. Beim nächsten Mal werden wir doch ein 5 Sterne Hotel buchen und uns nicht von einer hervorragenden Bewertung eines 4 Sterne Hotels leiten lassen :)

Dieses Hotel wirkt schonmal sehr durch die hervorragenden Angestellten! Rezeption, die Bedienung im Restaurant und an den Bars. Eltern mit Kindern kommen auch auf ihre Kosten. Kinderessen, Kinder Animation, Schwimmbecken, alles Kindergerecht. Dieses Hotel hat unentdeckte Talente wie an der Circle Bar. Barkeeper sind hervorragend! Die Kueche ist abwecheselungsreich , frisch und schmackhaft. Die Sauberkeit vorbildlich! Ich komme gerne wieder.

Excellent rapport qualité/prix, excellent séjour !

Super séjour ! Hôtel parfaitement propre. Jolie plage privée et 2 grandes piscines. Gros efforts faits pour les spectacles / animations du soir (spectacle flyboard dans la piscine par ex) et plus globalement pour les animations tout au long de la journée pour nous occuper, c’était vraiment bien. 2 restaurants avec buffet ouverts tous les jours avec large amplitude horaire. Il est possible de manger quasiment à toute heure et même en arrivant à la fin du service, vous trouverez de tout. 2 excellents restaurants à la carte (égyptien et italien) sont disponibles. Pensez à les réserver suffisamment tôt pdt votre séjour. Personnel très serviable, disponible et réactif (par ex lorsque nous avons demandé à avoir une table à repasser). Staff à nos petits soins pour savoir si nous voulons boire qqch, si tout était OK. Pressing testé et approuvé, linge rendu impeccable et sous blister. Eau en bouteille à volonté tout au long de la journée, très appréciable. A noter quelques points d’amélioration mineurs qui ne remettent pas en cause la qualité de l’hôtel. La communication peut être difficile avec certains membres du staff qui parlent très peu anglais. Parasols un peu fins (prévoyez bcp de crème solaire 😊) et pas de pommeau de douche dans la salle de bain. En bref, nous avons adoré notre séjour au Solymar. Nous recommandons vivement cet hôtel. Le rapport rapport qualité/prix est vraiment excellent ! C’est une valeur sure, n’hésitez pas ! Encore merci à toute l’équipe.

Hotel der Mittelklasse

Alles in allem schöne Anlage was Garten betrifft, gut für Familien die ein Animationsprogramm wollen. Essen war ok, viel Auswahl am Buffet, Geschmack mittelmässig. Unser Zimmer hatte leider einen komischen Geruch. Zimmer sauber aber auch schon etwas in Jahre gekommen. Was etwas nervig ist, die Angestellten sind zwar freundlich aber man hat ständig das Gefühl, dass sie auf Trinkgeld warten. Verständlich aber könnte weniger aufdringlich sein.

Ich (23) war mit meinem Freund (21) in diesem Hotel. Was wir besonders hervorheben möchten, ist das freundliche und sehr zuvorkommende Personal. Sobald man am Tisch sitzt, wird man nach Getränken gefragt (man musste nie lange auf etwas warten). Die Animateure sind sehr lustig und machen eine tolle Stimmung. Man wird überall begrüsst und man wird immer wieder gefragt, ob alles gut ist oder ob man etwas braucht. So ein aufmerksames und nettes Personal hatten wir wirklich noch nie zuvor in einem Hotel. Die Zimmer sind sehr sauber. Wir fanden es toll, dass man eine eigene Strandtasche erhielt und die Strandtücher direkt auf dem Zimmer vom Putzpersonal ausgewechselt wurden (somit musste man zu keiner bestimmten Zeit neue Tücher holen gehen). Das Essen war lecker und vielseitig und empfehlenswert sind auch die anderen Restaurants (ägyptisch und italienisch). Der Strand ist sauber und es hat immer Platz (man muss nicht Liegen reservieren gehen, ausser in den vordersten Reihen vlt.) Auch der Pool ist ebenfalls sauber und wird auch mehrmals täglich gereinigt (nicht nur abends). Es gibt verschiedene Aktivitäten (welche auch früh genug angekündigt werden, sodass man nicht ständig auf die Uhr schauen muss, um nichts zu verpassen). Es hat auch neben den Animationsaktivitäten einiges zur Verfügung wie Billard, Dart, PingPong, Tischfussball oder Spiele am Strand (alles kostenlos). Wir empfehlen dieses Hotel sehr und können uns gut vorstellen, wieder mal dorthin zu gehen.

Sehr schöne Anlage. Das Personal ist sehr Aufmerksam und Hilfsbereit. Einzig die Schallisolierung in den Zimmern könnte besser sein.

Toller Service, sehr saubere Anlage, schöne Zimmer, gute Essensauswahl, schöne große Poolanlage, tolles Spaangebot, guter Gym.

Nice and safe relaxation in Safaga

All the important basics are great: security, cleanliness, food safety, and service. The staff is attentive, they greet you and try to help whenever you seem in need. Excellent attitude towards service. Great place to relax with Luxor trip and snorkling trip to the reef as must-do. Good capacity on beach, pool, and in restaurants. Good food selection and especially for dessert lovers. All together good value. To improve: the beds are on the hard side and a bit short for people above 1.9 m. Fish served is typically pangasius and we would have loved to have fresh fish from Red Sea at least 1 or 2 times in a week - at added cost in the a la carte restaurants if needed.
