Okay if your Chinese or Egyptian
Most of the Staff unfriendly, western culture not catered for, ripped off trying to change money from sterling to egp. This hotel needs management and people skills. Hotel was virtually empty so god knows what it'd be like if full?
Beautiful hotel next to the Giza pyramids
My fiancé and I had a lovely stay at the Soluxe Cairo hotel. They've very attentive staff make your stay very comfortable...
Bad exp
3 stars hotel not more
Booked a one night stay but they told me otherwise. Difficult time finding the location and no one answering the phone at hotel to help
Very basic, fairly clean and safe.
If you are expecting a nice hotel, you will be terribly disappointed. This is a Chinese hotel which caters specifically to Chinese visitors. Standard facilities like coffee in the room (or indeed, in the hotel), food that isn't Chinese, toiletries etc. are nonexistent. Chinese ambient music plays constantly. There are barely any in-house services or amenities, except (most notably) the pool. The little available food is absolutely awful, and I'm not even fussy. And the corridors are always dark because the lights are kept off, presumably to save money. In fact, the lights everywhere (except the reception area) are dim LEDs, and the entire atmosphere is quite depressing and dingy. That said, this is an inexpensive hotel. The sheets were clean, it's safe, quiet and close to the pyramids in Giza. Room WiFi was sound. The staff are lovely and quite helpful. While completely unimpressed, I felt like I got my money's worth from my stay. If you are looking for an affordable and basic place, Soluxe Cairo works well. If you'd like anything more, I'd recommend you look elsewhere.
Good hotel, i enjoyed staying there, helpful stuff , calm area and safe car parking
Very quiet and comfortable hotel
Quiet hotel,, great swimming pool, friendly staff.
not bad
nice place but lack of food choices and expensive
Clean, quiet & spacious rooms.
Stayed 3 nights with friends, the staff are friendly & cooperative, the pool view day / night is very nice. Clean, quiet & spacious rooms & its reasonably priced. On the down side, arrived at the hotel entrance & nobody bothered to help me with my Luggage, at night around midnight they turn all the lights off around the pool & the hotel buildings which makes it very difficult to walk or see your way around if you are going out or in the hotel at night.
Great Hotel close to the Giza Pyramids

Despite some issues with Un-Married Couples sharing the same room, our stay was excellent in this hotel. Great Breakfast Buffet (International & Chinese), the rooms were very spacious and clean, high end Modern Designs, Excellent friendly service by the staff, specially the room cleaning. Special thanks to Anni the GM there, who explained to us that we had to book TWO different rooms, due to strict Local Laws that prevented us to share one room as a couple. Although the stay was a bit pricey for us, we would definitely go back again. We suggest to all couples planning to stay in Egypt to get married before they do, so they can share one room, as this problem will face them in most hotels in Egypt as I learned. Would Definitely recommend this hotel to others.
Value for money
We had an excellent stay at the hotel. We stayed in the hotel for 10 days.staff was very helpful and cooperative. However, it would be giod if they provide water bottles, tea and coffee sachets everyday.
Not horrible
It seemed like the hotel is on the verge of going under. From dim lightbulbs in the rooms to turning the lights off in the hallways. The breakfast was not acceptable at all. The staff were friendly, but they made us change rooms half way through our stay (21 nights) because of scheduled maintenance. But didn't upgrade our room. it was a huge inconvenience because we had there weeks worth of "stuff" to pack up. We wound up leaving early.
Very comfortable room with view of the pyramids
Single female traveller. I hired a driver to show me around Cairo.
Chinese Hotel suitable only for Chinese people
Entertainment is very weak. No animation team. No Music around the swimming pool. Meals at the restaurant are very expensive. Its location is far from restaurants. No H.B or full board available. Swimming pool is not clean enough.
Very comfortable and professional
As usual this hotel was great and the staff looked after my every need. It was not the first time I have stayed and it certainly will not be the last. I look forward to staying at Soluxe again soon.
Nice hotel, though not 4 stars
The hotel is nice, though as the title suggests, it's not a 4 star hotel in my opinion. The location is close to the pyramids but to be fair, everything is still quite a distance so even getting to such locations is long, so be prepared for long journeys back and forth to the hotel if you plan to visit attractions surrounding. Also the taxi's find it difficult to locate this hotel. On face value it looks plush. Staff are friendly and helpful. Our room was a good size and clean. Though there were small details I noticed such as a loose floor tile and the doors squeaking constantly when opening and closing which after even 1 day became annoying. We had breakfast included which to be honest I only added because it would have been a hassle to find food for the morning considering the hotel was distant from any where to really eat out. And having said that the breakfast wasn't really nice either. We just made do. They had a nice pool, which we didn't use though it looked nice. Apparently there was a gym too though I didn't see it anywhere. They had a roof top view from which you could see the pyramids which was a nice feature. We didn't have lunch or dinner there so I can't comment on that really. But overall is a nice hotel, however the price doesn't really justify the quality for sure in that it's much to expensive (in my opinion of course).
Excellent hotel 🏨 with nice price
Excellent service and friendly stuff the breakfast was v.good with Varity of Chinese food and international food
Great hotel and the staff and even more greater. Very helpful in every aspect,, they made sure me and my son did not feel uncomfortable at all
Boring uncomfortable stay
The hotel is too quite, the stay was boring. Staff was friendly. No massage was available during my stay. There are mosquitoes in the room & flies in the lobby hall. Difficult to find a taxi.
Eid Al Adha in Soluxe
I spent 2 good days in this chineese hotel. The best I found in this hotel is calmness .
Great for our one-night staycation
We live in Cairo, and were looking for somewhere to go to swim during the holidays. After checking out the prices for day use at hotels around Cairo, we found Soluxe for a great price for the night. We are glad we stayed here for a little get-away. The check-in was swift, and they let us (and our friends who had booked 2 rooms) check in a bit early, which meant more pool time for the kids. Our room, 3104, was on the ground floor and while it did not have a great view, it did have a huge balcony area. The room was at the end and circular. The bedding looked fresh. I found the beds a bit hard, but my hubby found it to be fine. We saw our friends' rooms, and they also had large rooms which were clean and well-taken care of. We came mainly for the pool. While the pool is not huge, it was delightfully cool and was just right for the kids. There is a small kiddy-sized pool right next to the bigger pool. There are nice chairs and tables surrounding the pool, and there is a guy there to get you towels. We gave this man a little money and he saved us a table both days of our stay (we were a party of 8). Actually, you don't feel like you are at a hotel, but more like at someone's private villa for a little swim. We ordered in lunch and dinner from local restaurants (reception had menus). The pool seems to be used often by guests, and as such seemed to be cleaned regularly. Breakfast was simple, but the kids liked the offerings. Overall, we liked our stay!
Gentility in Giza
The staff cannot be faulted - fabulously helpful! The hotel is tucked away and is generally referred to as 'The Chinese Hotel' - if you go out make sure you have the address written down for you in Arabic... Mattresses are thin - great if you like a hard bed... The pool is beautiful, but no swimming after sunset. Food choices are tasty. Great location for access to the pyramids.
Great place to stay!
Had such an amazing time here, the staff was so helpful and nice, the pool is very clean and really fun to swim in. The hotel is extremely clean and comfortable even in the mid-summer heat of Egypt. Convenient for visiting the pyramids, but not really walking distance in such hot weather. Food was good, especially from the chinese menu, though kind of limited vegetarian options. We even got a little goodbye gift, it was so sweet! Will definitely recommend to friends! Tip: if you are going to order a taxi, do it outside the hotel as the taxis that come through the hotel are overpriced!
great value just watch out for the services.
a great value for the price. The room was nice and the location is close to the pyramids. The laundry service is too expensive and confusing. There was also a scrunchy in the shower and a used wash cloth.
Nice hotel
I was happy with the hotel but the best only thing I didn't like that no taxi park in the front of the hotel
NICE
CLEAN HOTEL, NICE AND CALM.... JUST THEY HAVE TO WORK MORE ON HER BRAEKFIRST;;;;
Dissappointed.
There was a stench in the room originating from the bathroom. Perhaps some kind of septic back up. Besides a pool and Chinese restaurant, there are really no other amenities. The hotel is close to the pyramids and I was advised by the staff that it was safe to walk to them. I wouldn't recommend this though, as you'll be bombarded by very aggressive locals that want to talk you on a tour and charge you overpriced rates. The staff didn't warn me of this. I booked a tour from a company called Elegant Group and the guide was more interested in taking places with high pressure sales tactics to purchase carpets and other items even though I told him I wasn't interested in buying anything. I booked this company through Expedia. So I thought it would be reputable.
Nice clean hotel and swimming pool
Hotel only opon for one year. Owned by Chinese. Most food chinese, but now trying to include more western food. Staff very pleasant and try hard to be helpful. Not very well known yet, so very quiet.
quiet area close shopping/pyramids
Clean and comfortable accommodations. Friendly, helpful staff throughout. Excellent breakfast. On a quiet street off the main road, but still just a short walk (or taxi) to shopping/food in giza, felfela falafel, and pyramids.
Don't stay here!
First I'd like to mention this hotel is solely a chinese hotel with egyptian staff. Upon arriving everything looked very nice, the hotel staff seemed very friendly and eager to help me. I checked in and went up to my room, again I opened the door and everything looked great, except after an 18hr flight to get there I took my first chance at rest on the king size bed....or what they call a bed, it was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever slept on, it felt like a sheet of plywood! I woke up my very first night at 3am cairo time and was very thirsty, with no water in my room fridge I went down to the lobby and asked for a water and was told "sorry but everything is closed" granted it's 3am, yet this is cairo...the people here don't go to bed until 4am! Anyway they have a hotel taxi the man that runs this service is a very good man and excellent to deal with, however the driver I got for most of my stay always wanted to talk me out of going to places where he wouldn't be able to collect a commission on anything I'd spend, needless to say this pretty much ruined my trip because I was forced to use their service to go do and see things but never got to do or see the things I researched and really wanted to see, that and the driver was always pushing me to tip other people for simply doing their job like returning my delayed luggage to me...that and they have set charges for the hotel taxi service and say you have security anywhere you go, but when he drives you to these places he
Quiet Neighborhood and close to pyramids
Check-in was super easy once the taxi driver found the place and once to the room it was fantastic for everything but the beds. The tile floor was only slightly harder than the beds. We did what we could to soften them until next to the last day we asked the cleaning staff if all the beds are so hard and he turned the mattress over and it improved the feel a little but this hotel is geared to the chinese tourist and maybe they like really hard beds. My hips and shoulders were actually sore after 3 days but the hotel overall is absolutely one of the best I have stayed in ever for the price. The pool was nice but the pool attendant wanted a tip( like everybody else in Egypt you talk to) but to get you a lounge chair.. Sorry but I don't go to the pool with tip money.. Annoying to say the least. The morning breakfast was wanting but maybe better if your chinese. One morning I wasn't feeling so good and the staff got me a couple breakfast rolls and a tea for free and after breakfast has closed very nice overall fantastic place besides the beds..
Nice hotel close to the Great Pyramid.
Is a new hotel in a quiet street at a walking distance (if you like to walk...) from the Giza Pyramids. The wifi in the rooms is poor, but the wired connection works great.
Chinese hotel
Not very good, room ok, breakfast very poor, had to ask for coffee and sugar, not good value for money, Egyptian staff friendly, but Chinese staff are poor electrical connection in room dangerous
Hotel has really enchanting central place with a pool in the middle. Vegetation complements the pool and it all looks very nice. For me it was strange not to see many guests. It kind of seems like a hotel for mostly Chinese visitors. If you reserve in USD or EUR or any currency apart from EGP, you will end up paying in EGP. Personnel is very kind. When I came for breakfast 1 min to 10 and found the breakfast room totally emptied, after a bit of complaining they brought me a breakfast, just for me.
OK hotel, close to the pyramids
Quiet hotel. Fine room. Cleaning ok. Breakfast terrible. No restaurant, even though they write about it. Pool was closed one day due to chemical problems. Fitness room closed. Wifi ok in rooms.
CHEAP
CHEAP, BUT NOT THE BEST CHOICE

Not again in this hotel.
The hotel is good on a whole as far as price is concern but very difficult to locate as it is in interiors. Most of the local taxi drivers finds it difficult to find the way. The staff was friendly but please do not buy anything from the hotel as it costs more than 14 times. Even the water costs 10 times than of outside. The food is extremely expensive. The internet connection is worse, they say its free wifi but the connection is horrible.. I asked for the taxi pick up from the airport but they dint send any one, when asked they just gave me an excuse that they dint see the mail. I called them couple of times but the only response they gave is write to us in mail which they never read. This guy Yasser at the reception is the one who is not at all friendly and make fuss about everything. Totally unprofessional behaviour.
Peu beaucoup mieux faire
Kinisisk temahotel
