I have stayed at Solia many times previously. Unfortunately the standards seemed to be dropping. On this occasion aircon in foyer area was often either not switched on or not effective. The rooms were not daily well cleaned and replenished. Replacement towels were often returned with with marks on them. Constant piped music in foyer and reception area was monotonous and annoying. There was an issue with mosquitoes around the foyer area. Also cannot understand why the food top spa is not heated nor the jets turned on. Overall disappointing as the hotel has potential to be of a greater standard then currently displaying.

Solia is a family friendly hotel staff were very accommodating. Due to location was quite noisy at night time.

Location is fantastic for shopping, dining and entertainment. Deluxe rooms are clean- very basic and our level 2 room didn’t have a balcony so made it hard to dry clothes. Had to ask for towel rack twice. Housekeeping didn’t clean room 2 days during our 8 night stay. Shower head in desperate need of cleaning - so much build up that barely any water came out! Front desk staff were friendly but lacked essential communication skills necessary when dealing with any requests made.

Central location, reasonably priced and very friendly service, staff were excellent & very helpful.

Far too much road traffic noise. Check in was 2pm, we did not get into room until 3.30pm due to being so disorganised. We arrived at 8am and that was our choice, so we left bags and went out for the day. But when you are told check is at a certain time you expect it to be.. Not to have to wait around for a hour and a half, No care from the staff. No sppoligies or concerns. Very disappointing.. Won't be staying there again.

Stayed in the pool access room for a week. I couldn't fault Solia, so comfortable, modern & massage ladies & staff are the best. Everything we needed so close by.

Lovely stay at a refurbished hotel. Universal plugs in the walls, very glean, nice amenities and two pools with bars. Staff were so nice & security on the gate. Buffet breakfast was great value as well. Would stay again.

Great central location. Staff were amazing everywhere that we went. Rooms could do with a bit better clean but overall were comfortable. Some areas of the hotel are a little run down or can use repairs but overall it was comfortable. Our room was quite noisy for half the nights we were there with a nearby property blasting music until quite late but that is no fault of the hotels! Overall it was a great stay, great value for money and very friendly staff!

Not impressed with our stay. Check in was supposed to be 2pm, still waiting for a room 3.30! Finally got a room but not the one I reserved (supposed to have a bath) still waiting at 5 pm for a room I payed for. Finally got into new room, was nice but very loud traffic noise!!

Stayed twice on our trip.3 days at the beginning,1 night at the end.staff were great.they let us leave a big bag there for 3 weeks no charge .its in a good location 15 mins from the beach.make sure you pay a bit extra and get a balcony room.as the cheaper rooms can be very dark.

Solia was a lovely stay for both my wife and I. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Recommended the location.

I would like to say the staff were very accommodating, friendly and went out of their way to help. Rooms were good. Breakfast was not really to my liking but restaurant food was quite good. The bottles of hair conditioner provided were next to useless as it would not come out of the container.

Excellent value for money.

Enjoyed our stay at the Solia Legian. It was well positioned and good value. It is walking distance to shops, stalls and restaurants along with transport options available too. The rooms had plenty of space for me, clean and housekeeping did a great job. Special mention for Antana. Enjoyed getting up in the morning for the buffet breakfast although my friend would've liked if they served hash browns. Pools were good and kept clean. The gym could use with more equipment. But, that's more of a minor criticism and suggestion on improvements. I would go back to the Solia Legian and recommend for others.

great place what I didn’t like was paying $6:50 for a Bintang that was hot not once twice three times which is very disappointed because I love having a beer by the pool couldn’t do it you are not a five star hotel so you need to cut your prices down so I can enjoy a very very cold beer by the pool

After 20 hours of flying arriving at hotel at 12.45 am. Staff with extreme tile cleaner at my door before 7 am. Never stay again

Could have been better

Could have been better. At heck in charged extra deposit of 100,000 for 2nd room key. Allocated room on 3rd floor with balcony. Room tv very small fir area, no Australian channel, others catered for, had a dark screen set up so no good during day, repeatly ask at reception to fix but never happened in 10 days there. Charged extra 250,000 for late check out extension of 4 hours at last day. Shower pressure was good, towels changed daily, restock of bathroom items daily. Had to supply one water for teeth washing and drinking, heaps mini mattresses shops, money changer at front of hotel, also good laundry charges 25,000 per kg, open to 8pm. Defogger for bugs outside at evening pretty full on, only appears to be done every few days but get notice. Had electrical Maintence blackout of 4 hours one morning from 10am, but was given notice, not about lifts out. Tried level 4 breakie, was charged different prices each time, 110,000, 115,000, 120,000 so not consistent. Basic food no orange juice any day, pineapple ok, eggs can be cooked fresh but had to wait as new staff training, ask fir crispy bacon. Front downstairs cafe near other entrance ok, was quick service and had orange juice. Stairs here out very steep, not good for old people or disabled. Bed in room very hard but got used to it, pillows good and plenty. Staff were polite, greet you all the time. Had issues with level 4 jacuzzi, is low set on floor, no handle rail to get in or out, swimming area poor on level 1,

It was super noisy at night (motorbike noise) as the property is located on main road. This really ruin the holiday experience because you cant sleep all night and so you wake up very tired. Every day. My room which was Suite category had a serious clogging problem in the shower & sink area, which was very gross whenever you need shower. It took them more than 24 hrs to fix the issue. I dont recommend this hotel at all

My stay was great, good location & pretty good all round. My only dissapointments are 1. Rooms are noisey (Traffic Noise) 2. No bookup account facilities (Cash Only) 3. Lack of english TV/Music chanel's

Beautiful modern hotel and has a welcoming presence with a nice clean smell. The staff were lovely and very helpful. Our issue was the location is quite unpleasant. It’s quite difficult to get car transport as the entrance street is very busy. We had the Solia suite which was beautiful but it was difficult to sleep as all we could hear were motorbikes and scooters zooming up and down the street even after midnight. We thought our doors or windows were open as it was that loud. They did provide ear plugs but they didn’t help. Breakfast buffet wasn’t tasty or didn’t seem fresh which was a little disappointing and having to request bacon then wait for it to be cooked was a hassle too. Would love to stay here again if it wasn’t such a noisy area but chances are low

Quick stay before Gili Air

Extremely noisy from traffic and music all night, they provide ear plugs in your room. It was clean and staff were lovely but if you like your sleep stay elsewhere

We stayed at this hotel because it was near the airport which was convenient. The hotel itself was very nice but there were parts of the room that could do with a bit of maintenance. The hotel is next to a party strip which might explain the status of the rooms.

Only issue is the noise coming from street level. Never noticed it before. Perhaps the room facing the street didn’t help. Earplugs not any use. Perhaps think about double glaze windows on rooms facing the street

Close to all shopping/beaches

All property staff were friendly and ready to accommodate you at any moment. The check in process was easy and we immediately went to the upper pool, it’s branded as a jacuzzi but a lot more like a pool. The food and drink service was fast and showed up nicely. The area is filled with food, beverage, tattoo and shopping. Rooms were cold snd clean with drinking water provided daily.

This was beautiful, great location and would highly recommend

Very clean and friendly staff. Room cleaning was always on point. Location is also very nice because of proximity to marts and 10min walk to kuta beach. Overall, would definitely recommend staying here.

Internet is crap. Bit rundown but maybe that’s standard for Bali. Breakfast was a large spread and lots of options.

Friendly and helpful staff

We stayed here for 4 nights in September 2023. We could not recommend this place highly enough! We loved how nice and clean the hotel was, and the friendliness of the staff. We stayed 3 different places in Bali and this was our favorite. It’s so close to everything and we enjoyed being pretty central. Most of all, the service was great and helpful.

The Bali’s hospitality is always priceless, not enough words to describe, breakfast was good. Bring your earplugs cause is noisy from the street ‘s traffic!

Nice hotel but noisy

Enjoyed the stay. Hotel is clean and comfortable. However, room faced over major road and was noisy all night. Room service is great price and good quality, which was great for the kids.

There wasn’t much apart from location that was good about this hotel. The rooms we were in were not clean at all. I have photos to prove. The linen and towels all need renewed. The linen looked as though it had been laundered but had stains. The towels were a disgusting grey with bad stains. I have photos to prove. The breakfast was probably the worst breakfast in Bali in over 25 years going there. The food was cold with not much choice. I did complain but the same the next morning cold food raw eggs. So we never ate there again what a waste of money paying for a breakfast that we were supposed to get for free for being VIP. I could go on forever. I just wish I had read reviews more before I chose this hotel. I don’t know how this hotel gets it’s ratings. The bottom pool is good but the top pool has no shade What so ever. Will never recommend or stay at this hotel again. Music from both pools clash which makes it sound like a rabble.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel because my parents were staying here on holiday at the same time as us. Its a beautiful hotel, it has good vibes. Both pools have great benefits although a bit of cloth shade over the sun lounges on the rooftop would be good as it gets quite hot up there and no shade but its still great up there, lovely staff, pool gets heated and has pretty lights from 2pm. The drinks are really nice at the hotel however they are a bit pricey compared to other hotels we have stayed at which stopped us from being around the pool area having a drink or playing pool and having a drink. All of the staff were so helpful whenever we needed absolutely anything! Nothing was a problem and they were always happy to help in any way they could. Our room cleaner, Sunya, was especially AMAZING! He made our room so beautiful all the time, he was so bubbly, friendly and an all round great guy. He truly made our experience more special in every way that he could. Thank you so much Sunya. As much as we loved the hotel Sunya was our favourite part.

The room was cleaned daily with new products provided as required. The cleaning staff were always friendly and helpful. Thé bed was quite comfortable and the room with a view across the pool was adequate for our needs. Breakfasts were very substantial and provided an array of delicious western and Indonesian foods The gym and pools were great with music playing and pool bars. Staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when we returned home only to find a wallet and phone had been left behind. The staff have gone out of their way to help us return our property. A short 10 minute walk to the beach and many decent restaurants and coffee shops nearby. Just need to locate them! I would highly recommend this property.

Pleasant, Clean and well maintained

Pleasant, clean, and well maintained. The room was comfortable and well cleaned. Check was not like to other hotels we had stayed in with no staff meeting us on arrival to assist with baggage (Not a biggie). Check in was slow but it was polite and friendly with a welcome drink (Fruit juice). The facility didn't have a lot of character being a painted block building. the pool area was nice with a handful of sun loungers available, music was a little on the loud side but overall good area. The buffet breakfast was comprehensive with enough choice to satisfy most however if was barely warm except for the toast and eggs. Would we stay here again, for the price ... yes.

I last stayed 5 years ago when it was newly built, it looks just as fresh and new it did then, which speaks volumes. Great place to stay and really well priced, very funky and modern
