Great place to stay
Always great to stay at this high class hotel. Staff were great especially Vanessa in reception
Nice, clean accommodation in a good location. Close to transport and amenities. Courteous and obliging staff. Although a little expensive, we would stay again.
It was convenient
Awesome place to stay. Clean lovely rooms amazing food.
Excellent!
Amazing breakfast. Very convenient location to walk to many places. Really enjoyed our stay.
Check in is very confusing now as they have switched to a computer self input system. No personal touch at all. It took a while to even find where and how to check in....
Average service
Service not brilliant. Self service check out also which is just lazy. Reception desk hidden. Expected better of Sofitel. Wouldn’t bother staying here again.
The staff were very knowledgeable on doing various activities locally. I found them very courteous and great talking to. The Sofitel was very close to the transit station and there were buses close by. It was less than a 10 minute walk to the ferry terminal to take the ferry to various places around Sydney.
Excellent hotel. Not to fussed ongthe self check in
No no atmosphere can’t get a coffee. Food is crap and yet the price is very high for what they offer won’t be staying at a soffit again that’s for sure.
Am a plus member of accour and was treated very poorly by the check in staff. Hotel was nice as Sofitel always are.
Wasn't bad 70mill Reno's didn't feel like it, hotel still feels dated wish had pool and onsite parking fk wilson
Staff were polite, friendly and helpful. Clean, appealing, beautiful surroundings. Parking was easy and convenient. Would definitely stay again!
I don’t think I have stayed in a five star hotel anywhere in the world with less light in my room. Impossible to even see whether it was sunny stormy or snowy given the lack of light. The bathroom was in a cupboard to the extent when we walked into the room we thought there was no bathroom at all. Thought we were in an inner cabin on a cruise ship below the waterline. Sofitel should decommission this room immediately and use it as a cleaners cupboard
Bathroom was fabulous Overhead lighting in rooms was excellent Ability to monitor air conditioning
All round great experience here. Can't find a fault with the staff or their service.
The staff were lovely and made our stay pleasurable Bed comfortable and cosy. Thanks Sofitel Wentworth for a awesome weekend
We were disappointed in our room, it was very dark and had a small window. We stayed in this hotel last year and it was great but disappointing this year
Disappointed
The hotel was in a great location next to the new metro station but that was about as good as it got unfortunately. The room was very small in comparison to other city hotels for the same price. The bathroom was also small with a wooden double pull out door, which just made the room feel even smaller. I would expect a rain shower in a 5 star hotel but we got a shower head with the middle section not working and when we tried to change the settings the shower head just spun round and round. We also had a leak from the air conditioning unit which looked like it had been there previously to our visit as there was a stain on the carpet where the water had been. We were required to speak to exactly no one to check in and out which whilst making for an efficient process detracts I think from the 5 star experience. Unfortunately, I dont think we will be staying here again.

I stayed here on a work trip to Sydney and the location was great. The communal areas of the hotel looked wonderful, and the room was pleasant. The hotel has been recently refurbished which is clear, though there were still things that showed the age of the property. The walls were very thin, and I was repeatedly woken up by housekeeping and maintenance knocking on neighbouring rooms at 6.30am(!!). One of the times I was getting ready and shouted back to housekeeping to say don’t come in yet only to find out that they were knocking on a room two doors down. My room overlooked an interior courtyard and had no natural light, the fridge was quite loud and the toilet made a very odd noise upon flushing. Otherwise it was a pleasant stay. Personally I found the staff to be a little overbearing with their greetings and offering help and one member of staff even waiting by the lifts to wish people a good morning when they got out of it. This is perhaps what some people want, but it felt a bit false to me. I’m not sure I would stay here again when I return to Sydney, but certainly somewhere else within the CBD as the location was spot on.
