Concierge Emilien Todesco was phenomenal. All his recommendations and reservations were Top shelf. The restaurants , activities and shopping was amazing. he gets our maximum 5 star recommendation. Wenceslas Blondeau was also excellent. his assistence was valuable. Dr &Mrs C &A SANTI

Everything was great, especially Fanny the concierge and the entire staff. Only complaint was that the room itself was a little small and not laid out well. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend the property to anyone who wants a walkable area with access to lots of attractions and dining options.

STAY FAR from Sofitel Paris Baltimore Tour Eiffel

One word BAD. We stayed here before and it was perfect. We came back with our son, and it was the opposite. Clueless staff trying to sell me an upgrade. We have stayed at SOFFITEL within the US and never had an issue. Different story here in Paris. First floor room, with a makeshift bed, that was delivered to the room that isn't safe. Its not even sofa bed that we got, it came on wheels with a metal bar that can cause major injuries. Of course we saw first hand, and it doesn't have any support for anyone over 50 lbs. Its more for a dog, but they taught it was good enough for us. At 1am the hotel staff taught it was ok to work. EXCESSIVES noise from on top and below, we called them at the front desk 3 times, and no one did anything. I think one of the staff stated you didn't call back so I taught everything was ok. So we got no sleep with a 8 year old that's sleeping pretty much on the floor after hitting his head on the metal bar that runs on top of the portable makeshift bed. Staff is very unprofessional and didn't make us feel like we belong there. This hotel just got turned over to SOFFITEL Brand. So I'm not sure way happened, but this was a waste of money, and comfort. Customer service / Customer Experience was a ZERO.

Beautiful boutique hotel! The service is amazing. The location is close to the Trocadéro and walking distance or short ride to shopping, good cafes and restaurants.

Overall it’s good! The staffs are very nice and friendly, they all be able to speak English well, excellent breakfast options. It would be better if the shower can be stronger :)

Best Customer Service Ever

We booked the best room in the hotel with a view of the eiffel tower and the room was awesome and very clean and to a high standard. We have visited Paris many times and this was our favorite trip due to the hotel mainly. The staff were extremely friendly and always addressed us professionally by surname every time we saw them. The food was amazing both on the menu, room service and at breakfast time. Then to cap it all off, my wife was feeling very unwell on the last day and they went beyond what we expected by finding us another room we could use for a few hours after checkout time so we could rest some more before having to leave for our flight home. I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough, we will be returning here for our next stay in Paris.

This was our 3rd stay at the Baltimore and I must admit that the quality of service has improved considerably over the last few years. The Baltimore is our home away from home! This was our first time enjoying the breakfast...what a delightful way to start our day with a delicious hot breakfast and ample buffet options. Of course the location is perfect for travelers who want to be walking distance to all the sites yet located in a nice quiet neighbourhood. Can't wait to go back!

Fabulous Hotel

Close to the Arc de Triomphe and Eiffel Tower. Hotel is clean and nice. Staff is pleasant and welcoming. A few nice cafes along the street. Western Union and GAP store also in the area. Was great for a 3 day stay.

Location is excellent, service is hit and miss in my opinion. Some of the staff were super helpful and willing to jump in which was nice but some other staff seem blazed. The building itself need a refresh it is not in the best of state for a 5 stars hotel. We were lucky to have a balcony and a table/chair outside but we only had 1 chair and most other balcony from what we saw didn't even had chairs or table at all. Would recommend tho as the price/value is good.

Convenient location was good. Paper thin walls means you here every noise and conversation.

Check in was miserably slow. Rooms were beyond small and tight.

Lifts did not work properly. We should the stairs . Towels are not white , too old . Furniture all scratched. They need a full refurbishment

The Best Hotel In Paris

The best hotel in Paris!! The be best service from the front dest to the concierge service to the doorman to the exceptional staff!! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be back soon!!

The overall property is beautiful, however, this is the second Sofitel I have stayed ( in 2016;Montreal, Quebec). The price point coincides with the immenities and space. I was not satisfied with the room; it did not equate to the dollars spent. Paris was beautiful and the employees made up for what the room could not. Please look into this because it may influence my next visit.

Great service, location, and the beds are EXTREMELY comfortable and soft. Housekeeping is friendly and constantly at your service with anything you may need throughout your stay to make you feel comfortable. 10/10 recommend and would stay again.

Staff were friendly . No Luggage people to carry you staff after long trip, we had carry them ourselves. I wouldn’t call it a 5 stars hotel at all. Breakfast is a joke.

Beautiful hotel the beds though yikes my back is still killing me. Id think for such a nice place they would have decent mattresses. Ive slept at motels with higher quality bedding. Everything else though was very niceand the staff was amazing

We booked a deal on Expedia including breakfast and late check out. Staff at check in said their confirmation showed room only. I even showed my confirmation to them but they were relentless and expected me to call Expedia as they would just send an email to Expedia. I have checked out and this situation is currently unresolved. It is good hotel which I have used several times but may question going there again. Expedia will have to do their bit of responding to client queries faster.

Poor hotel, wouldn’t recommend. The amenities are sub standard and quality of the rooms are terrible. Fixtures and fittings are either very old or broken, noise between rooms is dreadful you can hear conversations and even snoring of other patrons. 1st floor rooms are too close to the street that the noise from outside the hotel is unbearable Gym is non existent. Central location is great and the staff are very friendly.

Relaxing stay

Goor location, walking distance to Eiffel tower, Trocadero, Arc de Triomphe and Champs-Élysées. Good restaurants near by. Room quite small, but comfy. Bed excellent. Lobby bar was very good.

Wow was this ever a let down. Can’t recommend and currently due to my experience I would recommend to avoid. My letter to the Hotel Manager: Upon arrival, it was found that the area under the bathroom sink has not been cleaned for some time. A simple inspection by your staff would have revealed dust and brown spots that were clearly visible. These should have been noticed and cleaned. It appears these spots have been there for weeks if not months. This is an area where personal items as well as towels and wash clothes are placed, therefore, it should always be clean. Additionally, the bathroom sink was clogged and did not allow the water to flow freely. The Shower rod was not assembled properly and had to be corrected by your maintenance staff. Away from the bathroom now, the coffee maker was leaking water unto the carpet and was unusable due to the amount of water leakage and had to be replaced. The mini bar was reported as not working and discovered by the staff to be shut off. A pool of water was discovered in the bottom of the unit. The lites in the room do not appear to work correctly , but we have managed to accept the functionality and use cell phone lites when necessary. The Heat/AC did not work correctly despite repeated attempts at correction. There is more but Travelocity restricts more details. DM me @SaaS_Technology on Twitter. if you want additional details.

Terrible Service

The service was absolutely terrible. I had to call 4 times to just get water and coffee and food brought to my room. They forgot, wouldn’t call me back, and purposely ignored my simple requests. This didn’t happened just once but multiple times on my trip. They didn’t apologize for the terrible service and had an attitude with me the entire stay. I will not be staying here ever again.

Walk to the Eiffel Tower & Arc De Triomphe !!!

This Sofitel is a very good choice . The location is in Trocadéro neighborhood and 10 min walk to Arc de Triomphe and 10 mins walk to Eiffel Tower. There are many restaurants along Kléber. The only disappointment was that the suite was a snug one. We needed more space than a typical room in Paris so we booked a suite. It was still very tiny space. Seemed like they just added a small sofa and table. Otherwise the room was proper Sofitel standards. The hotel staff were very friendly .

Characterful building, tastefully decorated and furnished. Seperte toilet in the bedroom very small. Would not be suitable for a large person.

Poor service at check in - had requested bottle of champagne to be in room on arrival which didn’t happen until after we were there. Also front desk said bag would be brought up to room but had to go back down and get myself after waiting 30mins. Many undesirables hanging around on corner beside hotel drinking and shouting at anyone coming in and out of hotel. Had breakfast on Saturday morning I know Paris is expensive but €60 for essentially juice and toast is outrageous.

The staff was helpful and tried to speak English. For the most part it was easy to communicate in English. The breakfast was really exceptional- lots of choices including fresh fruits, meats & cheeses, smoked salmon, yogurts, breads, pastries, and even the option of eggs/omelets. The room is VERY small and the toilet is separated from the sleep/shower area by a small set of stairs! So in the middle of the night if you have to use the toilet, you get out of bed, go up about 6-8 stairs to the toilet, then when you’re done you go back down the stairs to wash your hands in the sink/shower room next to the sleeping area. Crazy in a way, but if you don’t mind stairs, it’s fine. The shampoo/conditioner/body wash are by Hermes - magnifique! Location is perfect: near the metro; but the line is under construction at this time (Aug 2019). A short walk to restaurants, Arc de Triomphe, (and other metro options) post office, grocery, and other upscale hotels. We felt safe walking in the area.

Every member of staff was friendly and helpful and provided an impeccable service. i had a little plate of cakes and fruit for my birthday which i thought was really sweet and thoroughly enjoyed

Unpleasant and uncomfortable stay. Our room was extremely cramped for 2 guests, with my husband and myself tripping over each other in the space. Even so, the trip would have been bearable had it not been for the incredibly rude and unaccommodating staff. Each request had to be asked twice before following through. For example, assistance with the light switches in the room that were not functioning properly, a request for a new hair dryer, and the most annoying of all- calling for a cab for our departure on Thursday morning! Staff did not follow through on a single request. WILL NOT BE BACK !!!!!!!

Beautiful hotel. Excellent location. Recommend the Carte Blanche menu in the restaurant - 5 courses which the chef chooses and a sommelier matches wine to each course.

Our junior suite consistently smelled like cigarettes. We do not smoke so we found this disturbing; we were also traveling with our infant son. We had a rude housekeeper who was at angry at us for returning to our room too early to breastfeed. We were on day two of our stay and we had to wait in the hallway for half an hour. She would not let us back in our room until she was done. I left the do not disturb sign up for the rest of our stay to avoid dealing with her again. The rest of the staff was pleasant and friendly.

Good location and hotel

Great location, and hotel, exceptional service and cleanliness. We had two rooms for the family, and one was a little small. We moved a chair out of the room to give us more space. (Room 318). Otherwise, a fabulous place to stay for a few days and make the most of walking around. Good eateries nearby, a supermarket around the corner, and a laundromat also around the corner - handy when travelling with family.

The hotel was indeed an excellent hotel. It is located about 3 city blocks from the Eiffel Tower and a few blocks from amazing French restaurants and historical landmarks. The hotel is located in a very safe area! My nieces were able to walk to the Eiffel Tower and Restaurants late in the evening without any safety problems. The hotel staff was extremely attentive to our requests and needs. The hotel staff was very professional, positive and nice! We were treated very well! I would definitely stay in this hotel again. We truly loved the hotel and its location. I emailed the hotel prior to my trip and was responded to within 1 hour; to ensure that my specific requested accommodations would be met. During our entire stay; everyone was very nice to us! I would recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to truly enjoy Paris closeup! My family had an amazing vacation in France! A. Freeman

The only thing good about this hotel is the location but it’s no where near 5 stars. Rooms are tiny and small to the point there is no room to open your luggage and the shower head is broken and no adapters to plug in any American devices. The gym is so small I couldn’t even open the mat on the floor... if you want 5 stars go somewhere else and if you want 3 stars go pay for 3 stars which is much cheaper.

I would recommend this hotel

Room was great, staff was amazing, Especially Christopher who helped when a cab driver was trying to charge us triple of what our ride should have cost. I booked a junior suite and I’d say the only downside was it was right next to the staff closet and we could hear them in there late at night and very early in the morning. I was surprised at this due to how much I spent on our stay at this hotel. Otherwise everything was great.

Our stay at the Sofitel was amazing. The room was spotless, the location was perfect and the staff was great. My husband and I were very happy with our stay and will definitely stay at the Sofitel again if we go back to to Paris.

We stayed here for our honeymoon and it couldn’t of been any more perfect. The staff was incredibly helpful, kind and friendly. Especially Patrick (who worked at the front desk) and Luke (the bellman). They both went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. When we first got there we were not thrilled with our room location and they allowed us to view 3 other rooms to pick from. We would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay in it again!

Great stay at sofitel

Hotel staff service is friendly and excellent. Same goes with the daily breakfast. Our room was very comfortable, especially the bed and amazing pillows. Very spacious bathroom. Terrific shower. Concierge made us dinner reservations with no problem and got us a cab to the airport. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Upon checking I asked for a specific kind of room the gentleman reception at the reception went above and beyond to get me the room. That is professional and exceptional.

Lovely comfortable room. Good central location. All staff polite and helpful but would especially like to praise the staff at breakfast who were so helpful and attentive. Room was nice but very small. Staff did best they could when mob during Paris riots smashed all the windows facing Avenue Kleber. I saw fighting and burning cars a few blocks from the hotel. Shame the French government did not have the situation under better control. That being said, the Sofitel staff showed courage and cleverness by shutting down all lights.

Central Paris hotel.

Lovely central location. Walking distance to the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triumphe. Clean and well presented. Staff very helpful. Kids disappointed only stayed one night!!!

Vacation in Paris

Hotel was very nice and service was good. People were friendly and helpful. Great help that most of the staff spoke English. The room was just a bit above average and small. We had a room for 3 people and it was a bit crowded. The room was not what I expected for the price I paid. Wonderful breakfast in the morning.

Wonderful experience!

The staff is excellent. The room was large and comfortable. Get the breakfast, very much worth the money and delicious. The location is perfect, close to the metro and bus line, right between the Eiffle Tower and the Arch de Triumph (an easy walk to both), tons of restaurants and shopping. If you walk just a block back, you are completely out of the tourist areas, and that is really nice. I can't say enough about the staff, they are fabulous. I will be back!
