The property is great for overnight stay. The outdated and in our room we had flies. The bed was comfortable and it was very quiet.

Unfriendly staff

I needed a place to stay for about 12 hours while my flight departed so I look for a cheap Room In the surrounding area for what I paid it served it’s purpose. I am sure that they had other rooms that were more comfortable if I was there for that reason. But it was very secure and clean and it was in a safe neighborhood the staff was friendly

Its was just a few hours. Its difficult to judge and expect much from a $44 overnight stay. This was worth the hot shower and a bed than wait it out for 11 hours for the next flight. Breakfast was disappointing though. That needed improvement on so many levels.

Be aware of the $25 fee for airport shuttle!

The hotel rate was fair but I wish we’d known that their airport shuttle “amenity” cost $25 (each way). $66 for the room + $50 (and tip) to get there and back to the airport. By the time the shuttle arrived at the airport could not check in to the hotel until after midnight and had to check out at 3am to allow enough time to get back to the airport.

The shuttle driver was super nice, he was ready before departure time, i appreciated that. the staff was super nice. the only thing i didnt like was that i could hear EVERYTHING from my room. i could hear the cars out on the street.

Good stay.

The staff was all very friendly, and very accommodating. The room was cleaned very thoroughly daily. Does no one do any ironing anymore? I asked for an iron, and they offered their laundry service. Also, we did have an issue with the instructions for using the safe. I follow instructions implicitly, and had nothing but trouble till I did it another way. I did suggest they make a correction on the instructions. We have stayed here because it is very close to where family lives, and close to shopping, restaraunts, etc.

The employees have all been wonderful. A/C and airport shuttle service with warm breakfast were the reasons I chose it and all lived up to expectation.

Need a place to stay overnight to catch a flight on the following day. The location for the hotel was convenient although they offered a shuttle for more than twice the price of a luxury taxi.

Conveniently located near airport. Breakfast was freshly cooked. My only complaint is that the airconditioner right above the bed dripped on me!

Not worth it

Location not good, staff unknowledgeable, the room had a window looking into extremely small court yard across from another rooms window. Hotel doors to outside they can never make work to unlock with button, we always had to wait for them to come around with keys to let us in and out. Also ended up with 2 HUGE bites from something in the room while sleeping. This was the only hotel I was bit at after being in Peru for 2 weeks and 6 different hotels. The kitchen staff was really nice & curious.

I reserved a room for $40.50 a night but when I arrived to check in, the front desk staff told me that they didn’t have any rooms at that price available. They suggested that I take a room for $65 instead. I had to ask them to talk to their manager. I got the rate I reserved at the end after they gave me a hard time.

This hotel is good value for money on a layover. Nothing in the local area. We asked for a breakfast or water to go and they weren't able to help. I also left something in the room and contacted the hotel 3 times (using the tel no and email add on their website) to ask them to hold it for me, and on my return was told they don't monitor those lines of contact and they didn't have it. They were exceptionally unhelpful with this, and rude to boot.

Excellent costumer service

Staff was amazing, very friendly and lovely. However, the room did not smell fresh. the shower curtain was broken. One of my towels was ripped. Junior suite bathroom window was broken ( glass missing). There were 2 spiders.

Bad smell!

The check in was easy and the personnel is good. The breakfast was supposed to start at 6:30 and it was ready about 6:45. They did not have bread. This was really stressful because our taxi was picking us up at 7 am for our fligth.

Near to the airport and good service. Oir check out was early and they gave us a breakfast bag, this was unexpected and great.

The overall experience is not that bad, but the hotel is noisy and dirty. Convenient since it's about 15 minutes from the airport, wouldn't have chosen otherwise. There are far better places in Barranco or Miraflores areas.

Quick trip from the airport, stayed here just to sleep in between flights, so I can't speak to many details. However the staff was extremely kind and warm hearted,making my stopover (and first time in Peru) very pleasant.

Surprising last minute comfort

Our Airbnb fell through and we had to book a hotel quickly at nighttime. Thankfully this was only a few blocks away and close to my family's place. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the room was nice, comfortable bed with a good shower. Breakfast was reasonable and we were happy with the price (same as the Airbnb).

Basic Room at a Reasonable Price

We had a 7 hour layover and wanted a shower and a few hours sleep in a horizontal position. Didnt use any other facilities other than these. Lots of noise coming from the street. Shuttle was on time to pick us up at the airport. Even though it was midnight, there was a lot of traffic. Dont want to think about what it may be like during the day. Front desk spoke good English and very efficient. Wake up was on time. Shuttle back to airport was swift until got to airport property and then took 15 minutes to get to departure arera from entrance at 4am!!!

Nice hotel not far from the Airport

I like the hotel, not far from airport by taxi. Loction looks ok, and safe. But there is nothing to do around. Rooms are modern, spacious and comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpfull, only think i dont like (this is problem of most hotels in Peru ), staff expect that everybody speak spanish...

Safe hotel, close to the airport and friendly staf

The airport transfer didn't go as planned as the hotels driver failed to show but we had lots of options with taxis from the airport. Had a safe ride that only cost $13.00 USD and the receptionist couldn't apologize enough. Lovely staff, big yummy breakfast and hot water and tea coffee is available 24/7. Not much around the hotel so we ordered in and had one of the best chicken dinners ever. Full of flavor, moist authentic BBQ chicken, tons of french fries, salad, soda, and two pieces of different cakes. It was a hotel recommendation and it was delicious. Would definitely stay again especially since the price was right.

Comfortable hotel not too far from airport

I booked a room online because I needed to stay a day in Lima before catching a bus the next day to Huaraz. Was picked up promptly by hotel taxi driver at airport, and then driven to bus station next day by hotel taxi driver. Made a booking error that could have cost me an extra day, but hotel was nice enought to cancel the extra reservation at not cost.

Overall experience was good and we will be back

All the people were very friendly and polite. We had a very good experience with all employees. There were some minor deficiencies that were taking care of immediately such as the light stand lamp not working properly and bathroom lock not working properly. It would've had been nicer if the hotel had an elevator, but all considered Carlos and Giovanni were very helpful carrying the suitcases.

They do not seal their water bottles

I just needed a place to stay near the airport for a few hours ahead of my flight. I'm not high maintenance, and the room was clean enough for what I paid. The shower pressure was good as well. The staff were friendly. My big issue is that the fresh bottle of water they provided to me in the room was not sealed. When I called downstairs to the front desk, they said that they do not provide sealed water. This is a public health issue. As such, I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

The only bad experience is that they charged me $10 dollars more at chek-out and I had a guarantee price of $59.50 when made the reservation on Expedia

Pretty Good

This hotel was good. The staff was friendly, and the room was nice. It was very humid and damp in the room which was a little unpleasant. The room was clean and looked nice though, the beds were comfortable. We left early for the airport in the morning, and we arranged transport with the hotel for $15 USD which was convenient and fast. The hotel isn't exactly right next to the airport, but the area was a little nicer. Not somewhere you really want to walk around or hang out in for your trip in Lima, but if you're going to the airport it was only 15 min away. Wifi didn't really work well.

Location was not what I expected but it was ok because it didn't look safe but it was safe.

Location is great if you need to be close to Universidad Católica. The ride from the airport can take up to an hour in a bad day or rush hour. Hotel is too far from Miraflores, San Isidro, Barranco area. No good places to eat around this area.

I had a great experience with this hotel. The staff was friendly and very helpful! It was clean and the breakfast was good as well. My only complaint was that my wifi barely worked in my room.

Nonstop Noise...

The hotel is old and the constant noise from the A/C and airplanes flying by at odd times during the night makes it impossible to sleep at night.

Safe & Secure

From my research it seems most hotels near the airport are in risky neighborhoods so I was pleased to find this secure, nice, clean hotel 15 minutes (early morning) from the airport. The staff was really helpful and polite and polite, recommended restaurants & arranged an early morning taxi. I would not hesitate to recommend this to single and/or women travelers. If you have time, I highly recommend the Larco Museum & lovely garden restaurant and Lima's Magic Water Circuit after dark.

Traffic was horrible. Need to allow more time for transit to the airport.

Basic, nice & clean little hotel close to airport

Nice clean little hotel near the aiport (about 15mins away). Note they do not provide free shuttle service. It's $14 each way ($28rt). The shuttle driver (takes you in a car) name is Florinda and is awesome. If you don't speak Spanish she has a downloaded app on your fone that allows you to right a sentence in english and then translates it to Spanish. I was able to read it to her in Spanish. awesome! I felt safe in the neighborhood although I didn't go out at nite. Rooms were clean but small. What do you expect of the price you're paying. I heard Miraflores is the place to stay but was told it's a 40-50mins drive to that area for the airport. I chose this place just cuz I was traveling on vacation and had early morning flights. Secondly, for those of you doing Machu Picchu all flight get in at 11PM. I did not want to spend the nite at the noisy airport for a 6a flight to Cuzco so I decided to stay at this hotel so I could sleep comfortably and then had a 10:40 flight out the next day to Cuzco. Breakfast is included. Enjoy!

Great hotel close to airport

Compared to other hotels I've stayed at in South America that are close to the airport, SM Hotel has been the best. I was picked up form the airport and taken to the hotel located 10 minutes away. It was clean, modern, specious and they even wrapped a small breakfast bag for me to take with me to the airport the next day for a very early morning flight. The service was excellent. I would certainly stay there again.

Decent hotel with friendly service, but not close

We only stayed here one night and chose this hotel because we had an early flight the next morning to Cusco. The hotel itself was nice and the staff incredibly friendly and helpful. The location, however, was far from everything and even a bit far from the airport. It's great if you literally need a place for one night in Lima before flying out, but if I had it to do again, I would have done my best to avoid the 1 day layover in Lima and would have gone straight to Cusco.

Modern hotel close to the airport

The hotel was very modern and updated. We stayed here as it was close to the airport and we were arriving late at night. They had a 24-hour front desk and provided a taxi service. The room was small, but very clean with a very nice bathroom.

Hotel was great for purpose which was to overnight for an early morning flight to Cusco. Carried snack so didn't leave hotel but heard the restaurant across the street was good. Short but sweet

We were picked up at the airport after a redeye flight. We arrived late in the evening. The rooms were clean and comfy. We had a morning flight which meant we would miss breakfast, but the staff thought ahead and packed us a snack box for the morning at check-out. It was a cute hotel in a not-so-cute area, but it served the purpose. Best part was the staff.

The area was a residential, clean area. Far from tourist attractions but perfect for a stay near the hotel. Try to bring earplugs since you can hear the planes landing at night.

Ok, 20 minutes from airport.

Decent hotel about 20 minutes cab drive from the airport. Staff was friendly and they even prepared me a small breakfast box since I was leaving very early. Room was ok, but the little window opened into an inner patio FULL of bird excrement! They should clean that. Location: Hotel is in a good residential zone, but if you want to eat, you must go to the main street (Marina) 2 blocks away which is very ugly and bussy, full of smog.

Best hotel staff ever, friendly and knowledgeable.

Arrived late (2 am) and i made a mistake with my booking. They did not have a room for me and arranged to give me a taxi ride to another hotel. Went above and beyond making me comfortable. I cant say enough good things about the staff, some of the nicest people i ever experienced in a hotel. Room was clean but not very quiet because of occasional airline overhead. Close to La Marina and buses and taxis. Inexpensive and yet able to visit Lima Centro, Miraflores and Airport very easily. I thought the area was very safe during the day but did not go out at night very late, say 11 PM at the latest.

This hotel does not provide receipts or invoices

The hotel is small and not all rooms have hair dryer, neither a switch to connect it in the bathroom. Furthermore, when I leave I asked for a receipt and they did not provide anything.

Still smelling the mildew

I only stayed here for one night before my flight home. The location was convenient to the airport, and the area seemed safe though not at all scenic. The staff was friendly and helpful, but the room left a lot to be desired. I expected small, which wasn't a problem, but it was very damp and reeked of mildew. If you have allergies or are sensitive to odors, this isn't the place for you; on the other hand, if you're all about budget travel then this might suit your needs.

Nice stay over in between destinations

Apart from the noise (dogs barking), the carpet was not clean and the windows did not close properly (humidity in the room), the staff was very nice and helpful and I had a very good stay. For this price, I would not hesitate to stay there again on a future trip.

I arrived to Lima almost midnight and I had to fly to Cusco following morning, so I stayed this hotel since it is located very close to the airport. (About 10 minutes away from the airport by taxi). Small but clean and quiet room. Simple but nice breakfast. Kind staff in the reception. Only one thing that I would do differently is that the taxi arrangement to and from the airport that I made through the hotel. It costed me $14/each way. I realized later that it was really over priced. Even you landed at the airport around midnight, you can find lots of taxi at the airport and it will cost you a lot less.

We were collected at airport as arranged. The room was clean and it was in a safe area. We left before breakfast time and the receptionist kindly arranged for us to have a little take away breakfast bag waiting for us at check out.

Great value and clean!

The staff was great and the hotel room, although small, was very comfortable and everything worked correctly. The neighborhood was safe, but it was somewhat shabby and really had nothing a tourist would come for. To see the tourist sites, you really had to take a taxi. The staff always had one there for me on time, but you had to find one in order to get back. Always make sure you ask about the fair and move on if you think it is too high.

Great for nearness to airport

We had an all night layover and didn't want to experience again the terrible traffic going to Lima. The staff let us hang out in the lobby for several hours after check out time until our flight. They were very accommodating and professional.

pleasant stay

enjoyed my stay here. missed my initial flight to Lima, had arranged to be collected but was not a problem to rearrange. Lady who collected me was friendly. room was nice and comfortable. arrived in evening and was advised not to go out to buy food, so had Pizza Hut delivered to my room. As an overnight stay inbetween flights i recommend staying here.

The sraff are so kind and gentle, there are a lot of stairs. Breakfast is okay. Really near to the airport so the noise may disturb you

Reasonably close to the airport, and the hotel will arrange a taxi to pick you up. There is a major street a couple of blocks walk away where you can find cheap restaurants and kiosks selling candy.

Good value!

We stayed here after arriving late to Lima airport. Driver missed us at airport, so we had to take a taxi, which was mildly irritating at 1am. However, staff was very friendly upon arrival and room was a comfort to walk into, albeit quite small..ok, extremely small for two people. Had to walk into hallway to put backpack on again...

Near Airport

The hotel arranged an affordable taxi service to and from the airport. We chose this hotel because of the proximity to the airport for our early 5am flight to Cusco the next morning. We did not explore the surrounding area much, but it is a reasonable cab fare to nearby Mira Flores and Larcomar shopping center. The hotel room (and any clothes you leave out) is oddly damp. Otherwise the staff was friendly and helpful.

This hotel was about 15 minutes from the airport. It was convenient and clean. The negative was the noise. The windows didn't seal well and the traffic noise was really bad.

Fine for an overnight stop over. Handy for airport, easy to get a taxi from airport to hotel. Hotel booked taxi to airport for early morning and gave us a packed breakfast. We arrived late and did not see any bars or restaurants in this area.
