Wonderful location and amenities! Staff were very informative, responsible and kind! Highly recommend it!

The staff here are just lovely - friendly, professional and attentive. We were rather disappointed by the room we were originally offered - billed as a Comfort Suite, but in fact, in a semi-basement (not advertised as such, unfortunately). We were moved after a day into a comparable room on the raised ground floor - much brighter and fresher. The location is excellent - lots of things within convenient walking distance.

A great place to stay in central Athens

Great stay. Fantastic room with a sitting room. Comfortable bed and proper black out curtains, and super quiet. This place is very good value for central Athens and the location is great - quiet but in the middle of everything. Remote aspect works well as staff help if needed. What really made it was Konstantina - a real asset to Sir Athens - super helpful, responsive, provided brilliant advice and info, and very friendly.

This is a discrete delt contained, unattended set of apartments in a quiet safe area for solo travellers. Comms worked great, no issues with check in, everything I needed to know explained genially. The property I stayed in is modern, well appointed and good for solo or couple. It is quiet and breakfast can be arranged on the morning (set menu). Good location, slightly further out than inner Acropolis ring, about 20 min walk to Monasteraki Station

This is a basement apartment complete with fridge/freezer, oven, washing machine, bed, couch, desk, Samsung TV. If you've never been to Greece, this is an Airbnb w/ all hotel amenities. On the minus side, it can get noisy especially Thurs-Sun. Greeks love to party & are loud. it's a safe neighborhood yet I found staff had a rather naive approach to security. For example 2x I found my front door closed & unlocked which is not OK by me. I was very grateful to have found this apt.

One of the best things about this little gem was the staff, ranging from the lady who tidied our room to the receptionist and the boys serving our breakfasts. Thanks guys! The breakfasts were delicious! We stayed here twice for a total of 7 nights, had a lower level room with a small courtyard. The hotel is in a great central, yet quiet area, close to the metro and a 10 minute walk into the main city square. There are a lot of eating options close and at good prices. A favourite was Alex's Fresh Pasta that was only a few doors away. Would definitely stay here again!

Great apartment stay without breaking the bank!

Great stay at Sir Athens. The remote check in and communication was efficient, very easy and friendly! The property was in a relatively quiet location with easy walking distance to some of the major metro stations. The actual apartment was very clean, comfortable and contemporary and they cleaned our room when we were out. Nice kitchen, bathroom and very spacious. Only slight downside was that the sofa bed was a little small to stretch out in (person was 5ft 9, so May be better for someone smaller. The main bed was very comfortable and had netflix etc which was nice after a long journey. Would definitely stay again.

The Sir Athens is a great little boutique hotel, with a good level of facilities , style, and staff who clearly demonstrate a high standard of customer service. All of the check in, and other communications are efficient, clear, and timely. The hotel effectively operates as a stand alone venue with self service check in, without any staff on site. This didn’t cause us any concerns as the area immediately around the hotel feels safe. As a result of this model you only see a few staff at breakfast and at reception of the sister hotel the Flair. This isn’t really an issue ( you either love it or hate it), but all staff are friendly and helpful when you do see them and contact details are always stressed at every communication. Even the housekeeping staff will stop and say a cheerful hello which clearly shows staff who enjoy what they do. My only issue would be a very small matter about personal information. When you arrive, instructions are given for you to complete a form( your registration). However, this form remains on an desk in reception, in full view for other residents . I would suggest creating a locked post box for the form once completed if collection isn’t immediate. I would like to mention the specific staff on reception at the Flair and the waiter that served us breakfast. All were charming, courteous and very helpful. This made our stay so much more enjoyable. Thank you.

We didn't, in fact, stay at Sir Athens - we were offered an upgrade at its sister property, Athens Flair - which we can recommend very highly. Super service and a stylish place to stay, and in a terrific area of time.

The hotel is excellent. The room was beautiful and the personnel is extremely competent and friendly. The hotel is in a very nice area that is within walkable distance from all main sights of the city. While not being in the most touristic area, there is a very good offer in terms of restaurants and cafes.

Our stay at this little boutique hotel in Athens was nothing less than outstanding. Particularly noteworthy is the Hotel Manager, Elena. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and at home. After our stay, I feel we have a friend in Athens. The room was perfect and quiet. All the major sites in Athens are within a 20 minute walk. We will surely stay here next time we are in Athens.

Sir Athens - a nice place to stay for your vacay

Sir Athens was a small boutique hotel. The front desk people were lovely and helpful, they helped arrange transportation to the airport. The breakfast was lots of yummy food served in the room with many different options. It was clean and the bed was comfy and the room was big along with the nice living room that was also spacious. We were on the first floor upstairs so could hear some of the noise when people were outside, but it was really very minimal. The area around the hotel was ok, but the walk to the views and the restaurants and plazas was not bad at all. We enjoyed ourselves for sure and it was a nice stay.

Great Place, Great Location

Elena, the manager was fantastic. Extremely polite, knowledgable and prompt. We loved the hotel / apartment. The breakfast was excellent. We could easily walk to the bars / restaurants. Highly recommend close by: Drinks at : Drunk Sinatara and Babaji Rum Dinner at : Zubaran Or Malconi's

Elena who was one of the owner made our stay very memorable. Soon as we got to the hotel, she surprised us with a room upgrade and a box of macaroons. Who will not want that to start our Greece experience. She arranged as well pur shuttle service from the airport and vise versa. She was very pleasant to deal with and responds to your inquiry instantly. She is also very fluent in english which was very convenient with us too. The room upgrade was exceptional, we have an elevator thta goes staright to our room, the sheets were always clean and very soft. Our breakfast served in our rooms by B Madamme was also a highlight. Food was fresh and newly squeezed juices to your liking not to mention the newly baked pastries and breads. Elena also help us arranged our daily itinerary in Athens and made her personal recommendations. Overall, I highly recommend Sir Athens with its location and ambiance. This is one good accommodation in Athens which I will always go back too.

hotel in city center, away from tourist madness

Such a friendly well-located small hotel close to Kolonaki, Syntagma & Panepistimio! The front desk-person, Eleni is super-helpful and goes out of her way to make sure that you will be well-taken care of. She helped me coordinate a private taxi to Cape Sounion and back, and could always provide up-to-date information on public transportation or protests at Parliament. Besides that, she helped me learn to count in Greek for music-making! Also, my room had a sitting area that looked out on to an orange tree. So peaceful, quiet, and safe.

The lady at the front desk was excellent. Really good English. She was very kind. The only thing I didn’t like the place was sound proofing system was not done in right way. I could hear every conversations from guests upstairs. I like the location, my room, bed quality and water pressure in shower. Their breakfast box was very cute by the way

I was expecting much more than a room in semi basement when I booked at Sir Athens. It was really disappointing. Also, the quality of the breakfast included, served in a wooden box by a caterer as the hotel does not have a restaurant is very bad: cheese and ham in plastic wrap, warm/cold latte… nothing glamorous nor boutique style about that. The staff was very friendly and professional though, otherwise i would have given 1* only. But they were not on site but in their other hotel nearby.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre séjour: les chambres sont décorées avec goût, propres, calmes, très accueillantes. Un des meilleurs hôtels dans lequel nous avons séjourné. Idéal pour les familles: les petits comme les grands s'y sentent bien.
