Very nice kind of in a private little

Excellent customer service!

Nice hotel. Good location and excellent customer service! Very comfortable bed. Surprisingly quiet at night given that located in busy area of the Old Quarter. The only downside was that the bathroom could have been cleaner.

Great location, set back from road so it was quiet. Staff were so helpful, friendly and accommodating! They made my time in Hanoi so enjoyable.

This hotel is in a terrific location. For the price that they charge, the property may use some updating because it is rundown. The hotel room does not resemble the pictures that are posted on Expedia very much. That might be the case for the majority of the hotels I stayed at in Vietnam, not just this one. When we initially arrived, the hotel staff was fantastic, and he gave us wonderful choices for nearby restaurants.

Good location & staff but needs a deep cleaning

The hotel staff were fantastic and the bed was clean. The rest of the hotel needs a major cleaning. Beautiful tile in the bathroom but full of back mould and around the sink has not been cleaned in a very long time. Dust, dirt and cobwebs throughout the room. If the hotel gave the rooms a deep clean (even once) it would be a good place. For the price, I would have expected it to be cleaner. I would try a different hotel next time in Hanoi.

Good location close to famous eateries.

Good value based on its location close to the old quarter. Walking distance to many famous good eateries, especially with the two Chả Cá Thăng Long restaurants on the same street. The room's air con can be set to heating mode, which is useful during the cold winters in Hanoi. It's off the main street, so you won't have to deal with the noise from the traffic. Rooms are small and not very well maintained, but at least they're clean and safe. You get what you pay for.

The place is old. Light at corridor is unfixable. Access to room is only via Key and you need to struggle quite a bit to open the door. Breakfast area is tiny and offer limited variety of western food. No vietnamese food at all. Safe in room doesnt work so has to go and collect a master key to unlock so you do not feel things kept inside is safe anymore. Toilet smells at night. Only good point is location. Conveniently located near market and has a nice desert place just outside the hotel.

It was a bit run down but well kept, the room was spacious, breakfast was basic but solid, in consideration of that it was in old quarters where buildings are mostly old, it was quite reasonable, relatively quiet, any short fall was made up by the excellent service of the staff, especially Cloe was extremely helpful and welcoming

Great room with the WORST neighbours

The bedroom was amazing, a really huge room with lots of space to unpack. A massive bed that was really comfortable with good quality bedding The bathroom needed a little TLC and some attention, but was still good The staff were incredible and really friendly. They helped me with 2 additional bookings which I needed and made sure I had everything I needed, even a good Bahn Mi recommendation when we arrived It’s in a really good location, well situated for the old town and other attractions I feel bad leaving a low star review because of all of the above, but what really let it down was the neighbours. On our last night from 11pm until gone 4am they had someone clearing bricks and debris, dropping into a pickup truck and it was the most miserable noise ever. It made sleep impossible which made our last night staying there pointless. It was a disappointing end to what could have been a perfect stag

I verify that this is a real hotel. The hotel lost some points as when I first checked in I was put into a really old room, there was water stains and very old damage stains all over the washroom. The tv kept shutting off, and it was slightly hard to bare. The next morning I asked the desk to please tell housekeeping to just focus on the washroom as it is very dirty, I asked very nicely. When I got back to the hotel later in the day they apologized as I was just put into an old room and the stains cannot be removed, they switched me into a much better room and that made me happy. It was nice that I didnt have to ask for a new room. The service was impeccable, english was good, was always making sure that I was taken care of. Housekeeping was consistant of cleaning my room everyday and filling my tray with free water and snacks. And my new room was actually fairly clean and renovated so I was happy. Overall I would recommend this stay if you were put into their newer rooms, I really indulged in the free snacks and coffee. Good Stay

Great wee hotel with lovely staff

Spending one night in Hanoi and we’re lucky to find this wee place just up a side street in the old quarter. Check in was easy and efficient with great staff. Room is spotless with a really comfortable bed and good shower.

we confirmed a late check in was available (between 3am-4am) but the attendant was asleep when we arrived, we were able to wake him up from knocking on the locked door. Otherwise a clean place with a comfortable bed and good location, kind staff in the morning.

Right in the heart of Hanoi old town but just back off the street so nice and quiet. Staff were lovely from start to finish, welcoming us and helping us with getting buses etc booked for our trip! Always good to have helpful staff with good local knowledge!

Excellent Stay!

The staff, especially the lady at the morning reception, was kind, hospitable, and helpful. The room was clean, the towels were fresh, the AC worked perfectly, and there were many electrical sockets. Four pillows were provided. Thank you for upgrading us to a room with a balcony and allowing an early check-in after lunch. Upon checking out, we discovered there was also a lobby shower room, which was perfect for freshening up before our evening departure to Sapa for an overnight bus trip. The location is within the Old Quarter and walkable to St. Joseph's Cathedral, Beer Street, Café Giang, and the lake.

This hotel is incredible it has a alot of character and the veiws are breath taking. But impressive is the staff and the service and cheer they provide. Everyone who works here feom the front desk to the security to cleaning are all amazing and warm and welcoming and really helped make mw feel at home. They went above and beyond for me to understand and enjoy Hanoi. Because of them i would certainly come back.

I booked this hotel for 1 night for 3 adults - paid extra for the 3rd adult, expecting the room would fit 3 adults if the hotel & Expedia allowed for this add on to our booking. When we arrived at the hotel the receptionist informed us that we would not fit into the room as the room only had 2 twin beds and not enough room for an additional bed or even a cot. We explained this would not work as we needed a place for 3 adults as booked. The receptionist agreed that this room would not work for 3 adults, so she offered us a king bed room to share between the 3 of us. We were forced to find accommodation elsewhere so we requested a refund. The receptionist said that she could not issue us a refund because the booking was a non-refundable. We explained that we understood this at the time of booking but under the circumstances of the hotel not being able to provide us with what we booked and paid for - the hotel could and should arrange a full refund. The receptionist agreed and said she would contact her manager to discuss our request and asked me to contact Expedia to start the process. When I contacted Expedia while still in the hotel lobby, Expedia informed me that the manager refused to issue a refund because the hotel claimed that the room we booked was big enough for 3 adults, which it was not. The photos do not reflect the hotel. It is down a dirty back alley off the main street and the rooms and building were very dirty. The ceiling was leaking in the main lobby.

Great breakfast, staff, and location in Old Quater

We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed this hotel. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The included breakfast was very tasty and a great way to start each day (unfortunately we couldn't sit outside on the rooftop due to rain and cold). The room itself was fine but rather small (expected for Old Quarter in Hanoi). The hotel is in a good location within the Old Quarter, very walkable to restaurants and attractions.

A very lovely cosy room. Staff were very friendly. The rooftop breakfast was a highlight and included a small buffet as well as made to order eggs and Pho. Bed is very comfortable. Location was great just off the very busy touristy area.

All was great and staff exceptionally caring

The hotel is tucked in an alley but is findable if the driver is acknowledged of the area. Full of dining options. Walkable to Hoan Kiem lake and other attractions. Hotel staffs are well trained and are very accommodating. They also provide a sheet containing tips for foreigner (super helpful!). The hotel isn't the most luxurious but a good place to stay in Hanoi. I would come back next time.

Dirty rooms in dirty hotel

Hotel is in good locality, in the middle of Old Quarter. That also means that the hotel is old and dirty. The electricity didn’t work for almost one hour.

The place is very well located. And you can visit all the old quarter easily.

We checked in this hotel around noon and realized that the door was able to access freely without key from outside even I dead locked it from inside. I Immediately informed to manager and he acknowledged it but delay until midnight but still could not resolve it and was not helping me to exchange to another room nor finding another hotel for us. So we had to order another hotel at midnight during that night and did not stay in that hotel. The next few days, I called Expedia and asked for refund but Expedia personal said that Singita hotel manager acknowledged the issue but the owner of the hotel did not response back for the refund requested. Expedia personal did tried for 3 times and waited for about 1 week but still no response. Bottom line, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone at all. The customers service is so bad that you would void to stay there at all costs

Wonderful place in a great area. Rooms are nice. Staff is excellent. Look past the entrance which is in a questionable alley but everything is wonderful here!

English speaking staff and in an excellent location in the old quarter within walking distance of many of the city's attractions. Room service food was good and also cheap. Bed was comfortable. Would book again.

Lovely little boutique hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter

We really enjoyed our stay here. The interior was charming and the bathroom was great. Comfortable bed and great location in the Old Quarter. Did hear any of the motorbikes or loud roads from our room and had good night sleep every night. Mr Finn and the rest of his team Mr Nam, Ms Anh and Ms Hong were very friendly and helpful, the handwritten welcome note on the bed was a lovely touch, very thoughtful. Thanks for a great stay!

Good choice for tourists !

Excellent location for tourists who would like to explore the Old Quarter of Hanoi . We highly appreciate the great personalized service provided by this Hotel staff . Breakfast in the Hotel is just so so but we can find good food outside the Hotel and within walking distance .

Staff was excellent. Couldn’t ask for more. Wish the shower was cleaner but it was moldy. It is humid there but a little bleach should do the job I would think.

Beautiful Hotel!

The decor of the hotel is very rustic yet clean and elegant. We chose the deluxe room with a balcony, had a nice view of the city. The hotel is just off of a main road, so it’s not too noisy for Hanoi. The hotel staff are extremely friendly and helpful. We book a tour to Halong Bay through the concierge, very helpful and not pushy in any way. The staff made some great restaurant recommendations, and were always pleasant to interact with. The hotel is located about a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of the old quarter, so you get to walk through the beautiful streets of Hanoi on your way. It’s also about an hour walk to the botanical gardens. The breakfast food in the hotel was mediocre, but good enough to have a light meal to tie you over until you have lunch. I would definitely stay at the Noble and Swan boutique hotel next time we come to Hanoi!

This is a nice old hotel that is tucked in an alley which kept in quieter than being on a busy street. We had light fixtures and a drain that were in need of repair while we were there. The staff was fantastic and it was good value for the price.

Very kind and helpful staff. Comfortable beds with great linens and pillows. Pleasing decor. Clean rooms. Good breakfast. Can be a bit hard to find on your own because it’s in a lane.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel, it's great value for money. Beautiful rooms, wonderful location, and the staff are incredible! The receptionists went above and beyond to organise anything I needed. One of the best hotels I've stayed in on my long trip to South East Asia.

Average hotel

The breakfast was a bit boring, food are not hot and not presented well. Many fruit flies on the food. The amenities like towels are old and need replacement. The place is in the center of Hanoi that it is so congested with traffic and so many motor bike and people around..The staff was friendly and warm. The price is very reasonable and that is what you get for the money you paid for this accommodation.. just do not expect a lot:(

Almost perfect..

All was almost perfect - hotel, location and the girls at the reception, who were very nice and helful :) almost perfect.. I had an early check out, which I agreed on a day before ( I even wanted to do it an evening earlier to avoid unnecesary arrangement at 5am), all supposed to be prepared for my check out - it wasn’t ( breakfat, car, bill). I had to wake up the team sleeping at the reception, the male receptionist wasn’t happy about it at all. I paid my bill by card and then the same receptionist told me that I have to pay for some additional drinks, due to the low sum I had to pay by cash, he didn’t have a change, so he got very angry at me and gave me the aggresive attitude, which left me with a bitter feeling about the place after all.

The hotel is nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the area that is in walking distants to all the places I like to visit in Hanoi. The room was small but I my have chosen the wrong room. The bathroom was very nice and the internet was good.

Amazing hidden gem

I had a beautiful experience at Noble & Swan hotel. The hotel is tucked away in a nice and quite alley. The bed was huge and possibly the most comfortable bed I have ever slept on. Staffs were very polite and helpful. Would definitely come back when I have a chance

Great hotel

We were stayed at this hotel for 2 nights 3 days. We love it. Its located in a great area where you can walk to the old quarter, lake, shopping area in 5-7 mins. Staffs are really helpful and friendly. Breakfast is good. If we go back to hanoi, this is the hotel we will stay.

Good for families - central location

We had a "connecting room" (two rooms next to each other, separated by a door in the hall way). Good and central location and fairly quite. A bit noisy air condition. Friendly staff. Breakfast is simple, but you can order nice pancakes, omelette, boiled egg etc.

Lovely Boutique hotel near the old town

Very convenient location and good service. Breakfast is a good standard and included. Room is clean and well appointed except there are no glasses provided and no milk for the tea or coffee. There was a very load noise every morning from building work. This started at 7 am even on Sunday morning. Work should be carried out during the daytime when there is nobody in the hotel.

Quiet location, comfortable & inexpensive

Like : Location - building is in a less chaotic part of the old quarter, tucked in a quiet alley but only 2 minutes away from the main street. Feels safe and is very close to many food outlets Clean & comfortable room with all the standard amenities provided for - definitely value for money! Nice, friendly staff Dislike : Room is too dim - safe is placed within wardrobe but there's no light anywhere near wardrobe. In fact, entire room is very dimly lit. Spoilt bedside reading lights were not repaired so reading at night is out of the question. Breakfast spread does not wow me - limited choices and unexciting selection.

We had a great stay at the Noble & Swan. Location was great and right in Old Quarter - but tucked away on a side road so was very noisy. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Room was small, but everything was clean and well kept. Breakfast was very good, we ate there every morning despite many options in close proximity. No complaints!

when u arrive straight from airport just to be told that your booking can not be accommodated due to hotel full you kinda wonder what is the point of booking/pre-paying. they paid for a taxi to 'sister' hotel near-by, however i didn't get a room with a view - which is something i paid for. i was informed that in the morning i will change rooms. pretty annoying stuff to put up with. staff pleasant but under these circumstances it doesn't make up for the incompetence. i stayed 3 nights but i wouldn't book this hotel again. breakfast not bad

Value for Money

It was a good experience. Rooms were clean, sufficiently furnished, may be slightly small. Staff was polite and helpful. Location was good and lively, in the heart of the old city - close to many of the tourist sites.

Great hotel in convenient location

We stayed at the Noble&Swan Boutique Hotel in August 2016 and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Hotel. The rooms were well maintained and clean with good air conditioning and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Although located in the middle of the Old Quarter of Hanoi the hotel is set back a little from the main road which made for quite nights. The breakfast buffet was great with a good selection of continental as well as vietnamese dishes. What really stood out for us was the friendliness of the reception staff and especially Lilly went out of her way to accommodate every of our needs. We can highly recommend this nice little hotel and we would certainly book again.

A nice hotel tucked in the old quarter

The hotel is located in the heart of the old quarter which makes many of the sites and places to visit in close walking proximity. It is relatively new, so the rooms and facilities are clean and in perfect working order. The staff is courteous, friendly and very helpful. The breakfast is a good mix of continental and local delights. I would stay here again.

Gem of a hotel tucked away in Old Quarter Hanoi

I stayed at this hotel based on reviews on this website, and i can say it's all true. Very friendly staff, clean room, great location, and not too noisy (considering location nearly in centre of Old Quarter)

A great little hotel with very friendly and helpful staff.

Modern, good location, & excellent value for money

Noble and Swan is in an excellent location close to all major attractions and restaurants. The hotel is in excellent condition and the rooms although small are very modern and comfortable. The staff speak very good English and are incredibly helpful and polite. Breakfast was average but overall I would highly recommend this hotel and would stay again.

Good hotel

The overall experience was nice. The Bed is comfortable, the room and the bathroom are elegantly decorated. Service was good. The location is on the west side of the old quarter of Hanoi and there are lots of food choices and shopping streets in that area. Entrance was a bit difficult to find though as it is on the side road. Overall a pleasant stay.

Quiet Hotel in the centre of town

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Nobel & Swan. Our room was clean and quiet with a large window leading into a small balcony. The bathroom was very spacious with an excellent shower. The staff at reception were extremely warm and welcoming and were only too happy to help with any questions we had. After checked out they even let us shower and relax in he lobby that evening until we took the overnight train to SaPa. Breakfast was included in our stay and was delicious. Highly recommend!

the room with king size bed was spacious and quiet. The staff esp Ms Lyly was very helpful and provided some good info about the areas etc. the hotel is off the main road in a small lane but relatively quiet . Breakfast is ok and a very good for value stay.

Happy in Hanoi!

Service was excellent from the moment we touched down in Hanoi. Hotel staff arranged for our 2 families to be met at the airport and brought to Noble & Swan, where we were greeted by smiling, efficient staff. Rooms are spacious and clean (the connecting room option provides heaps of space). The Front Desk team was more than happy to assist with any request, including organistion of tours, places to see and eat around the Old Quarter. Buffet breakfast was included each day. There was lots of choice; however some of the food could have been warmer. Special mention to Lyly for all her assistance!

One of outstanding service

Excellent service from the time we arrived till our departure. Greeted with a cake and roses for our wedding anniversary. Since we had. Very early morning flight.. The management arranged for a simple breakfast for us. Definitely deserves top ranking as the ideal place to stay on old quarters in Hanoi

Lovely experience.

A beautifully fitted out hotel. Very comfortable with generous sized rooms and the most comfortable hotel bed I've ever slept on and I've done a lot of traveling. But the best part was the help of Hughie at the front desk in arranging a driver to take us to Ha Long Bay for three days who took us wherever we needed. As a family of five with young children it took all the stress out of the trip. Excellent advice, excellent service.

Excellent service, clean room and great staff

Very happy with the hotel staff and room condition was excellent also the breakfast. Telephone calls from room are very expensive. City view is not great but all central area in Hanoi is looking same. Great service and boutique rooms. Good for shopping and eating. Silk street and boutiques areas are near the hotel. Few banks next to the hotel also so easy to exchange your money hassle free.

Overall great experience!! The Beds are very firm and the air conditioning a bit noisy, but the staff are very friendly and awesome!!

Nicest Hotel in Hanoi. . . what more do you need?

This hotel is excellent. Why? Well, the staff makes it special, and the building is super-clean and well-maintained. The location is cool because its not near the over-touristed Old Quarter or lake. If you want this proximity----have at it! Otherwise, this hotel is in a more authentic location where you won't be mobbed by iphone clutching retirees or millenials looking for "tripadvisor" or "yelp" food experiences! This place is great for reasonable, friendly, mature travelers who don't need coddling but appreciate warm, authentic professional service. The hotel offers a nice buffet breakfast that actually includes meat dishes---yesss bacon! Sorry confused vegetarian graduate students!!!!! And scrambled eggs if you want them! And American-style black coffee in a pot! Outstanding! The rooms are air conditioned---not that you need it---- and there is plenty of hot water. The rooms are cleaned meticulously, and earlier in the day, so no waiting around for your room if you want to come home at 1 pm and take a nap! This place is an oasis----made even better by the friendly and sincere demeanor of LYLY at the desk, and by the quiet professionalism if Mr. Hyu.

New, clean hotel with excellent staff service.

Hotel is very new. Room was nice & clean and staff was very helpful. Provided a list of good Street food & marked off the locations for easy access. Many cable channels available. Conveniently located within walking distance to cafes, shopping & sightseeing. Breakfast was delicious with made to order pho & eggs in addition to buffet spread which changes daily. The only "complaint" we have is perhaps the bed is too hard. Repairs on roof top took place 2 of the 3 mornings we stayed but staff was mindful & waited till we left the room for breakfast before they started work. Much appreciated. Overall, very happy with our stay & will not hesitate to recommend.

Great hotel and location in Hanoi.

Sighting seeing two day trip to Hanoi. It was freezing. Thank goodness the heater worked in the room. Very comfortable stay, friendly staff (we got late checkout for a delayed flight), great breakfast with a variety of choices plus cooked to order eggs, omelettes, french toast, etc. Great area for roaming around. Would recommend this hotel to friends.

友達と３人で宿泊しました。空港までの送迎をお願いしましたが、入国にかなり時間がかかりましたが、到着ロビーで待っていてくださいました。ドライバーさんありがとうございました。立地がいいので街歩きには大正解です。ほのまわりも安全だと思います。ナイトマーケットからも歩いて帰ってきても大丈夫でした。 朝食は種類もそろっていて美味しかったです。お部屋の清掃は毎日丁寧にやってもらいました。お水の補充も毎日。部屋はとても広く、バルコニーもあり、快適でした。トイレがボタンがうまく作動しないのか、水が流れっぱなしになることが多く不便でした。改善してほしいです。 滞在中にサプライズで誕生日を祝ってもらえて、とても嬉しかったです。みなさんの心づかいが嬉しいです。 スタッフのみなさん、笑顔で接客してくださり、このホテルにしてよかったです。いい思い出になりました。ありがとうございました。ハノイでの滞在ではこちらのホテルをおすすめします。

とても小さなホテル。古いけれども設備は必要十分です。水圧はやや弱かったが、シャワーのお湯は夜も朝もちゃんと出ました。 ホテルの入り口は通りに面していませんが、私はそれが良かったと思う。女性でも不安になるような路地ではありません。 周囲にはレストランやカフェが多く、便利です。ホテルを出てすぐのスイーツのカフェはおすすめです。 帰る際にはホテルのフロントボーイに勧められて、ホテル手配のタクシーで2人で空港に行きました。15ドル。Grabも使っていたが、小さい車の時もあるので、空港に行くときはホテル手配のタクシーが良いと思います。
