Great little spot. Only downside was the broken pathway leading to the rooms and the construction next door (not the hotels fault but took away from the overall experience.

Nice hotel, friendly staff and a lovely position overlooking Sairee beach. Close to all the action. Pool looked a bit murky but the sea is outside! Also, breakfast in the cafe opposite was mediocre - mainly the quality of the food - choice was reasonable but the orange juice was too diluted, the bacon and sausage was not to my taste and the croissants soggy. There were other things so you could find enough to keep yopu going. We had an upgraded room overlooking the beach both ways. The room was spacious and bed huge and comfy - no complaints. Overall - would fully recommend.

Bathroom towels were horrendous, old and stained with ragged edges. Room was large, AC worked okay. Bathroom had no amenities including hand soap (okay so we used shower gel to wash hands). Location is incredible though and sunsets here are 10/10, so we would recommend this place anyways. Staff was not very friendly or helpful, young woman actually rolled her eyes at me when I couldn’t get our door lock to work. Breakfast was okay, not great but whatever.

Great spot to stay in Koh Tao overall.

The front desk service staffs were excellent. The walkway leading to the rooms require some maintenance work. Not much variety and options with the included breakfast. Only coffee is included as standard while espressos or cappuccinos are extras, which is different from the other hotels we experienced in Bangkok, Koh Samui and Ko PhaNgan.

The rooms are lovely and location is great, within walking distance of bars & restaurants. It does need some repair works around the pool area

Good location and the sea view was beautiful. The whole place was pretty run down though (safe in my room didn’t work, tv didn’t work, some holes in bed sheets, bad smelling shower, low water pressure on bidet). I think for the price (quite expensive) these things are expected to be better. Not sure if there are better hotels nearby so I would be open to staying again as the view was amazing!

Beautiful property and amazing views clean room

This hotel was amazing- beautiful views of the ocean and amazing sunset from our room every night. Very close to great restaurants and public beach. Im not sure where the restaurant/ bar advertised us we never saw one or were told about this. Luckily there is plenty of food a short walk away. We were able to do laundry here affordably. I wish there was more monitoring of the pools and maybe one reserved for adults. Each day kids from a couple families would be leaping pool to pool splashing and loud which we could hear from the room. I was surprised staff didnt ask them to calm down. Otherwise still a great experience just somethings to note for the hotel since it was a more expensive stay for us.

Will definitely book again! Excellent accommodations and staff

Beautiful Sunset Views

I enjoyed my stay at Simple Life Cliff View Resort so much I ended up extending my stay for an extra night. I splurged on an ocean view room and was rewarded with one of the most gorgeous sunset views I've ever seen. The rooms are spacious and have very comfortable beds as well as hammocks and cushioned benches outside for lounging. The hotel is in a great location on the south end of Sairee beach within walking distance of restaurants and dive shops. They are affiliated with Simple Life Divers which is located less than a 5 minute walk away which I would also highly recommend. The only downsides I can think of is that the reception area closes early in the evening and the water in the shower takes a long time to heat up, but these are relatively minor inconveniences. Overall I'd definitely stay here again while visiting Koh Tao!

Food good, reasonable price. Nice location and view

Loved this place; fantastic location, close to restaurants, shops etc but not too noisy. Great hotel for families.

Huge amazing pools. Overlooking the ocean with decent snorkeling right off shore. Large modern rooms. Close enough to town but not noisy.

Great staff and food! They responded to all of our requests and got us off to the ferry upon our departure. Chef Jim was very professional and personable! Just on the fringe of the night life of Sairee Beack, one can pull back from most of the noise! Breathtaking views! Our deluxe room was huge!!!

Great place with great staff

The staff were extremely nice, they even let us see the room before entering. Be aware to take the pool front rooms or better the regular rooms are currently in construction site.

Beautiful view

We stayed in one of the water front rooms close to the waters edge. Enjoyed our spacious patio and the beautiful view. Room was very nice and the staff was excellent. My favorite hotel so far of my trip through Thailand.

Nice location but facilities are not considerate

Staff is friendly, location and the view from the room is great. However, there are some areas which need to be improved: 1) there is no shower curtain, so the whole floor of the bathroom gone wet 2) the toilet flushing system doesn’t work, we have to refill the water tank ourselves every time 3) the water pressure of the shower is quite low, and there was one afternoon that there is no hot water coming out from the shower

What an amazing hotel! I saw other reviews about construction but there was none on the pool side of the hotel and my family loved every day that we were there! Staff was amazing as well. Great location.

Nice hotel, delicious foods, close to the beach.

I like this hotel very much. Excellent management, room and grounds are beautiful. Easy to travel around Koh Tao. The next opportunity I'll visited again.

CONSTRUCTION!! DO NOT STAY IN STANDARD ROOM

I really wish I would have read the review two below this one. DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE BOOK A STANDARD ROOM. You will regret it and can easily find something cheaper the day you arrive and not in a construction site. I really have no idea how they are able to rent these rooms out while the area is in such bad condition. I fell down a set of stairs that they had quickly setup to be able to access the room. This was the first night I was in Koh Tao and almost had to get stitches from it. The worst part about the whole thing is that they didn't even offer to upgrade the room when it was clear that they had ample amount of rooms near the pool that were vacant and we had booked on hotels.com for more expensive then they were actually renting the rooms out. Everything about this experience was so bad. I would just avoid staying at this hotel in general unless you can get a pool view then maybe. I would never recommend them to a friend traveling to Thailand.

Book the new area not the old rooms

The new rooms are fabulous but expensive!! Do NOT book the standard room because they don't look like the picture and your out in a construction site. Our room was dirty and we ended up having to pay full price to upgrade rooms and it was much better. But was not happy at all with the first room. Stained sheets, towels, and nasty pillows.

Under Construction

This place is under construction. I'm not talking about hammers. I'm talking bulldozers and mud and not being able to get to your door.

Nice room but too much construction work

Location great, room good/average & reception/people are fine. Too much construction happening for our liking, you have to walk up a big mud/dirt hill to get to your room as this is where the building work is happening however price fair for the room & you can't really hear much going on in the room anyway. There's a pool you can use too which was a bonus.

Good location, get what you pay for.

Big mistake choosing a fan room, too sweaty at all hours. Bed sheets weren't that clean on arrival, didn't get better after room cleaning. Duvet/blanket was a rough bath towel. Apart from that, we had a nice stay. Great location, 3 minute walk from beach and bars. Friendly reception staff. Would go again if we could book aircon.

Construction (Aug 2016)

Last year I stayed here and was very good but now is under construction (noisy).august 2016 . Location is fabulous.

Good overall unless you like to sleep till late

Good location, only 15 minutes from the pier and close to the beach and restaurants. Confortable beds but awful towels, Wifi not great on and off all the time, cleaners start brooming outside at 7 in the morning and talk very loud but at 8 they stop and then you can go back to sleep :( ...but good for the price you pay

Good hotel for the price

The room was clean and really enjoyable for the price. Although, the rooms are surrounded by construction areas, which unfortunatly wake us up at 8h00 AM every days.

Basic clean cool room

Room is basic but clean and very cool for a fan room, I don't know how they keep it so cool without a.c. but they do.

Friendly but not comfortable

Staff very friendly rooms not so great bed sheets were dirty, fan was quiet noisey and cockerels shouting as a wake up call could do without,location was good close to restaurants and pubs and beach was a minutes walk away

The stay here was lovely for the price. The showers were cold but that is very common in thailand amoung hotels. The woman at reception was very helpful with any questions we had about the area and organised taxis for us. Overall for the price you can't fault it.

PP relax is far from the noices of Phi Phi downtown. Only one restaurant and the beach. That is exactly what we were looking for. Remember to a take an AC room.

Vue splendide

Hôtel bien placé , accessible à pied 15 min du pear. Appartement famille avec 2 chambres dont une vue mer , fabuleux, rocher , petite plage devant. Hôtel vieillissant , piscine pas très propre mais la mer en descendant 2 marches .. La vue est sublime. A proximité de la plage animée avec resto et commerce. Je conseille fortement, je reviendrai certainement .

Nice place

This hotel exceeded all expectations. With stunning ocean views from my room, a restaurant serving surprisingly good food, and the friendliest staff imaginable, it was a dream getaway. However, the internet connection could use improvement. Despite this, it's still a top recommendation for anyone seeking a relaxing seaside escape.

Toplocatie, mooi uitzicht. Accommodatie wel verouderd

Voor 100 euro per nacht exclusief ontbijt viel het een beetje tegen. Het uitzicht was schitterend vanaf ons balkon. In de avond tot laat in de nacht harde muziek vanaf Sairee Beach. Voor Thaise begrippen was dit een duur hotel maar wel gedateerd.

Needs new towels

The hotel location is good. My room has a great view, however the towels are very old and don’t seem clean. The cotton slipper provided seem used.

Nice comfortable hotel close to the Sairee Beach

Very comfortable and clean room directly access to the swimming pool. Amazing breakfast with choice between Thaï and Continental food. Possibility to participate to cooking lesson. Pay attention to the cutting stones on the beach of the hotel, better to go little bit far away on Sairee Beach.

Bästa hotellet under vår Thailandsresa! Åker ni till Koh Tao är detta hotell ett måste, fantastisk personal, rent och fina rum. Nära till allt men ändå inte mitt i. Rekommenderas starkt!

Inte värt med standard rum

Vi bodde här i 4 dagar, trodde att man skulle få bo i husen som var på bilderna men så var det inte. Standard rum var en bra bit upp mot vägen där det var bygge hela dagarna. Stenhård säng. Priset var för dyrt för det man fick. God frukost men också dyr. Städningen var mycket bra och personalen var trevlig
