Friendly hosts. Amazing and filling breakfast!! Cute reading room. The walls are very thin. Could hear the conversations that all other people in the house were having very clearly. My first time staying at a B & B. Didn't have much expectations. The room and property feels like you're staying in the basement room of a friend's house. It's not bad but for the price, I'd stay at one of the hotels in town next time.

The house surroundings of glacier view, forest and wildlife is really wonderful however our room was very small, the private bethroom was very close but not in the room and the breakfast was ok but in very strict timeframe 8:00 sharp. The overall experience was ok but not amazing as expected from the high rating and cost

Beautiful home and location with lovely mountain views. Guest rooms and common area were in the basement which was clean and cozy. Breakfast was delicious! Worthwhile to note the private bathroom with the mountain view room was upstairs away from the bedroom. Slippers and housecoats were provided. Great stay!

We LOVED staying at this B & B. We stayed on our way to our destination & on our way home. Quite simply, it was comforting returning to our hosts cozy offerings after our adventures. We were greeted by our hosts Michaela & Helmut, with welcoming smiles & good information re: our stay. They were the perfect blend of friendliness and privacy; whatever it is you prefer during your stay. They offer an impeccably kept property & also there's a nice road to go for walks & fresh air under the glacier in the distance. Breathtaking. Twin Falls is nearby which is beautiful. Our room, with a view of the glacier, was cozy & clean as a whistle...as well as our appointed bathroom. We had room to stretch out & contemplate our day in a common tv room. Our breakfasts were beyond: Michaela makes the BEST Eggs Benedict we have EVER tasted & served it with color and intrigue. We ended up having lovely chats, finishing up with the notion it is fascinating how people end up meeting one another & enjoying as new friends. The value of this experience is there folks; this is a B & B that treats you with value, respect & care - as evidenced by the spotlessly clean environment & carefully prepared food. We hope to return one day & enjoy all the gifts Michaela & Helmut offer their guests.

Thanks for the great stay! The morning views of Hudson Bay mountain were spectacular, the breakfast and accommodations were very good and the hosts were very friendly.

She realy helped us. We booked two rooms. One for us and one for our brother inlaw. She had only got the papers for the one room. She was so good to give us her own spare room. THANK YOU.

We booked and a day later the B&B cancelled on us. Offering to arrive two days later. Ridiculous! I told Expedia to forget about it, the whole thing turned into a mess. At the end we were even charged. One night at the B&B without being there for about 230 Can$. Thanks a lot.

Nice and comfortable, beautiful area, nice drive to the property from the highway - easy to find. Delicious breakfast, a very lovely stay. Excellent host. Highly recommend staying there.

Pleasant Surprise

A short drive from downtown Smithers, but a very pleasant surprise! Wonderful view of the local mountains. Great location for a peaceful walk / hike. Terrific breakfast in the morning with plenty of fresh, hot coffee!

As I said in their guest book, we checked in as guests and left as friends. Michaela and Helmut were gracious hosts and we enjoyed a very long and delightful conversation at breakfast. Our comfrtable room had a fabulous view.

Very quiet, good bed, tasty breakfast. It’s a few minutes from Smithers, but that adds to the charm. Watching a glacier while relaxing on the patio was a plus.

Amazing B&B in a small town

I got a very warm welcome. the rooms are very clean and artfully decorated. Each room has its own theme. The breakfast was extremely delicious. It was very good money. The best accommodation in Smithers.

Perfect!

Room was adorable! I was lucky for the time of year I was there because I got to have a bathroom to myself. The view of the mountains was incredible! I only got to meet one host but he was very kind, nice to talk to and very accomodating. The breakfasts were wonderful also! Home cooked breakfasts served right to the table. A beautiful home surrounded by beautiful nature. I'd come back to Smithers just to stay here again.

Extremely pleasant 2 night stay we were treated like family and told of things to see and places to see and places to eat recommend this as a great place to stay . Will try to stay here again if we return to area

Blev godt modtaget af værtinden og Rocky, en sød hund, der passede på os. Denne B&B ligger inde i skoven langt fra hovedvejen og der er den smukkeste udsigt til en gletsjer. Haven må benyttes af gæster og vi nød meget at sidde udenfor med udsigt til gletsjeren. Meget hyggeligt sted med en god atmosfære. Morgenmaden er rigtig lækker. Kan varmt anbefales.

B&B in rustige omgeving, buiten Smithers

1 overnachting, 2 persoonskamer met ruime kast, wel nodig voor de bagage, omdat er verder geen ruimte voor is in de kamer. Bij ons verblijf was er nog 1 anders stel aanwezig, waardoor wij ieder stel 1 van de 2 badkamers kon gebruiken. Het is zeker 15 minuten rijden naar Smithers. Mede daardoor zit je in een rustige omgeving met een fantastisch uitzicht. Heerlijk ontbijt 's ochtends, waarvoor je aanschuift aan de keukentafel en de eigenaresse alles heeft klaargezet.
