A gem in a tourist area of Crete, amazing service!

Very clean resort, staff was friendly, polite and very helpful. Amazing food within All Inclusive plan. Pools clean and sea view is great.

The staff at the bars and restaurants were lovely, the staff at the main desk were quite blunt but not as far as rude. The rooms were nice however beds were uncomfortable and our room in particular was blessed with loud music until early hours of the morning and traffic noise non stop.

The food buffet was decent but lacking some Greek authenticity

nice hotel, close to town with easy access to a small beach. The rooms are clean but could do with updating. The complex is based on the style of a Cretan village, which is nice.

Really nice hotal and staff. Family room in the annex was ok had a nice little private terrace. All the restaurant where great. And the choice of 2 pools or the sea what more could you ask for .

We've never done an all inclusive before and i was worried the food might be poor quality. The food is excellent. So much choice. My only complaint would be i constantly felt i was overeating. But that's down to me and my greed! There are 2 pools and a beach. The beach is rocky and the sea was very rough so not the best beach Crete has to offer. The pools are lovely though. As usual there are the people who bagsie sun beds hours before they actually make an appearance but we always managed to get one. The other guests are mostly French or Russian. Families and older couples so very relaxed and quiet resort.

Great hotel on the beach

Fantastic location, friendly staff, huge selection of buffet style food, clean rooms and lots of shops nearby. Plenty of water sports at the next beach (10 minutes walk). Beautiful weather in August for bathing in the pool and sea. Perfect holiday!

No drinking water available in this hotel!!!

Be carefull! Absolutely NO bottled water in this hotel, despite all-inclusive status. You must buy your own water in the supermarket near-by. Owners think that chlorine water from the municipal waterpipe is good enough for drinking, but it is contraversing to the status of hotel. Our little daughter get dehydrated while we stayed in this hotel. She hates to drink all that yuppi-like and coke-like plastic & chemical powder-drinks dissolved in chlorinated pipewater.

Had a lovely 4 days here at end of October. Hotel was lovely. Food was great - plenty if choice. Only 2 drawbacks were they use cheap cola not the real thing and the bar staff were not pleasant in fact some were quite rude.

Well maintained Hotel

We spent a relaxing week here in mid-October and were lucky with the weather which enabled us to enjoy the two pools and the beach. We did find the salt water one a bit too salty and difficult to swim in but this was the better one to relax around as it was quieter. Both pools were chilly but once in you soon acclimatised. The small beach area was difficult to access but the water was clear. The welcome, after a late night arrival, was excellent and we were provided with food and drink in the restaurant before being taken to our room. This was a bit small but then we didn't expect to spend time here other than sleeping, it was cleaned daily and the facilities were good. Although it had a kettle there were no cups so luckily we had bought our own for our early morning cuppa. I think the way the hotel is built means some rooms could be larger than others. I liked being on the second floor which had a small balcony but the ground floor rooms also had small sitting out areas. The food in the restaurant was excellent, there was lots of choice and the staff always made sure the area was kept clean and the buffet regularly refreshed. The drinks were ok but did not include fresh fruit juices which would be an improvement. This was the first time I have stayed in an all inclusive so can't pass comment on the cocktails served although some did taste better than others. Staff were always happy to answer questions. I had a manicure in the Spa so felt pampered. All in all a great stay

It was amazing

Nice enough hotel close to small beach

Upon arrival we were told due to availability we would be spending our first night in their sister hotel Bella Beach, which was a 5 star hotel. We were driven there by car and told to ask at reception after breakfast and we would be transferred back to Silva Beach. We did this and when we arrived back we were upgraded to a renovated room overlooking the pool. This was very nice but the room was very small. We had originally booked a family room with a double and 2 single beds and the room we were given just had 2 single beds. We also received 2 free 20 min massages and a basket of fruit and a bottle of wine as a thank you. The massage was amazing, I must say.

Great hotel on top of the beach.

Overall, I was very pleased about my stay in Hotel Silva Beach. Biggest plus were the staff (always helpful and courteous) and hotel´s location. Food was great and diversified. Quality of drinks deserves improvement.

Good Holiday!

Loved this hotel. Second time here, stayed all-inclusive & food was always excellent - always a great choice of tasty, well cooked food. Hotel is right in the centre of Hersonissos, with the beach on one side & main road the other, with all the shopping you can handle available on your doorstep. There are a lot of steps & slopes so I would not recommend for disabled or people with walking difficulties. Our room was a fair size, bed comfy - with the side sea view, however I was informed that the 'garden' view rooms are quite small -(annexe rooms are spacious).Staff friendly & helpful - a special mention to Yannis & Zaccarias for their superb (& well used) bar service. Would go again!

Pleasant stay at the Silva Beach Hotel

Lovely hotel, friendly staff, great food and good selection of drinks. Main road outside hotel is very busy, although cannot hear noise from within the grounds of the hotel.

Superb hotel, relaxing with excellent location

I stayed at the Silva Hotel during August and was afraid I'd get to a hectic and busy hotel. I was awfully wrong, the hotel was amazing, it very quiet and relaxing and you can easily spend couple of hours relaxing by the pool or at your room porch. The hotel has 2 big pools which besides times where getting a sunbed can be tricky, both excellent. Food choices were good with many choices. All inclusive but still high quality. The staff was very accommodating and happy to answer every question and need. All in all, a superb hotel which I'd recommend everyone traveling to Crete to stay at.

found the hotel not as discribed, was placed in room off hotel complex, poor wifi, all inclusive stops at 11pm every night. was slightly disappointed!!!

Bar staff not friendly and don't make you welcome.

When I booked hotel I had emailed them straight away and requested twin beds and not near the road, following suggestions from other reviews, and we had confirmation from them that this had been noted. I had upgraded the room and paid extra for sea view. When arriving we were given double bed and room next to road and we could nearly see the sea through the bushes. We went straight to reception and told there was no other rooms available but to check the next morning, which we did and then had to go back after lunch and then we were given a better room with nice view over pool and sea. This was a bad start as we could not unpack and we wasted a lot of time. The room, especially the first one was dark, the second room was better but not as updated as some of the pictures we were lead to believe when we booked. Did not appear to be any English people staying here. The reception were friendly and helpful, and restaurant staff, but found bar staff unfriendly and gave us plastic cups even in evening when sitting at bar and when asked for proper glass or cup, they did not want to give it to you. I have travelled a lot and found that this hotel bar staff towards English was extremely rude and unfriendly which I have not experienced before and made us feel very unwelcome and we ended up going out most nights although we had paid for all inclusive. The drinks were not nice and mixers tasted horrible which I think made all the cocktails taste bad. The food was fairly good i

Relaxing Week Away

Great hotel,great location - excellent week away. Only a couple of negatives... Towels on sunbeds - if you haven't reserved your spot by 6.30am then you wont get one. Unfortunately some Eastern European guests where even putting towels on multiple locations so they could flit from pool to pool. The last moan was that when the bar gets busy you become restricted to two or one drink per visit...

limited all inclusive hotels

Its a typical all inclusive hotel.. The food is not tasty as usual. The staff were pleasant but drinks are limited and low quality. Time duration of lunch and dinner are too short and the staff are very strict to make you obey the rules.But in general staying is average. Seashore is not good. Swimming pools are closing at 18:00 hrs. It is too short, which is not acceptable in summer vacation.

Room was much more basic than the picture suggested. And room was twice as far from the conference centre than I was told.

Not as we expected

Food and service was excellent however it is situated in the middle of a very busy (touristy) area. Very little beach to speak of and was disappointed with this.

Un souci à l'arrivée avec la confirmation de la chambre mais la direction a fait le nécessaire pour nous trouver une solution avec un surclassement et est revenue vers nous à plusieurs reprises pour s'assurer que tout allait bien.

Das Hotel ist groß, aber durch die vielen kleinen Häuser und Gassen (angelegt wie ein Dorf), welche schön beleuchtet sind und sehr viele Grünflächen haben, merkt man es kaum. Auch wenn die Anlage einige Jahre alt ist, wird sie fortlaufend gepflegt und instandgesetzt / renoviert. Es ist sicher entfernt von Perfektion, aber zugegeben, dass erwarte ich auch nicht von einem auf Touristen ausgelegtem Hotel in Südeuropa, direkt am Meer mit salzhaltiger Luft. Essen und Service sind sehr gut und lassen kaum Wünsche offen. Jeder ist freundlich und hilfsbereit, wie auch tatsächlich bemüht das Anliegen zu erfüllen. Nur die Umgebung ist sehr touristisch, laut und eher wenig attraktiv, ganz zu schweigen von landestypisch. Hier dominieren austauschbare Bars, Restaurants und Ramschläden.

Das Hotel ist extrem in die Jahre gekommen und stark renovierungsbedürftig. Die Reinigung des Zimmers und der Toiletten in der Hotelanlage ist mangelhaft. Das Essen war in Ordnung. Wir werden aber definitiv nicht wiederkommen.

We hebben een fijne vakantie gehad. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Een paar kleine puntjes waar we niet zo blij mee waren, zoals de koelkast op de kamer die veel geluid maakte en de grote van de douchecabine die mag voor ons wat groter.

Établissement très bien situé au coeur de la station balnéaire avec commerces et plage à proximité. Chambres vieillissantes mais propres. Personnel charmant et serviable.

Einziger Kritikpunkt sind die Getränke. Sehr süß, keine original Coca Cola o.ä. Gleicher all-inclusive Cocktail hat je nach Tag einen anderen Geschmack. Die Buffets sind hingegen hervorragend. Zwar wenig wirklich griechische Küche, aber dennoch sehr lecker und eine große Auswahl. Die Zimmer und gesamte Anlage sind in einem super Zustand und sauber.

Die Hotelanlage und der Service waren super. Das Essen war allerdings verbesserungsfähig. Alles in Allem kann mann es aber nur weiter empfehlen.

Die SPA Einrichtung war misserabell.... Keine Richtige Massage, nur gestrechelt. Hammam war nur Sauna und Dampfbad KEIN Richtiges Hammam....

Fint hotell for de fleste

Veldig behjelpelig betjening. Vi fikk først et rom som var svært mye støy på og ikke spesielt god komfort, men ble tilbudt et annet rom etter at vi ga tilbakemelding om at vi ikke var fornøyde. Frokosten var veldig god, lunsjen også. Anbefaler å variere litt med hvor man spiser. Restauranten la strada som tilhører hotellet var vi veldig fornøyd, viktig å bestille bord maaange dager i forveien. Ellers kan man spise på buffet. Fin strand og bassenger, men utrolig irriterende at folk reserverte senger. Dette bør hotellet virkelig gjøre noe med da det utallige senger som står tomme fordi folk legger håndklær på dem. Står i papirene man får utdelt at dette ikke er lov, men hotellet passer ikke på at gjestene følger dette. Veldig koselig inne på selve hotellområdet. Passer godt til familier, venner og sikkert også par. Ikke så mye underholdning på hotellet, men dette føltes egt greit da det var rolig og fint. Er gratis bar hele dagen frem til kl 23. Vil også anbefale å besøke restauranten palmera beach ganske nær hotellet og sitte på stranden der.

Was auch sehr wichtig ist : es sind genügend Liegen vorhanden !!! Grosses Lob an die Küche - sehr abwechslungsreich, sehr schmackhaft und jederzeit genügend . Das Hotel kann man sehr empfehlen

Chambre, salle de bain et toilettes très propres. Les toilettes près du restaurant et de l’accueil sont très propres également. Rien à redire sur la propreté c'est parfait.

Net hotel aan rots strand. Fraaie zwembaden. All inclusive makkelijk maar niet bijzonder. Buiten hotel zijn ook heerlijke taverna’s. Bijzonder moment dat we geen lunch pakket mee konden krijgen bij een trip Somaria trip van 16 uur. Alleen koud ontbijt, 4 stukjes stokbrood met plakje kaas en tomaat. Dit voelde niet goed. Verder prima hotel.

Buffet très soigné, varié et surtout très très bon. Les chambres sont très propres et de bon accès pour les différentes facilités, plages, restaurant, bar...
