The staff were very nice and helpful, especially the bell service and reception. I would definitely stay here again thanks to their amazing service!
Doung, the Concierge, is the best. He helped us to organise everything including transport to the airport. Excellent!!
Perfect location, centrally located!
I loved my stay. Service was so friendly!!!!
I really enjoyed my time in this hotel. Despite other options, I ended up coming back here for 4 nights at the end of my Vietnam tour. The room was great and the facilities good. Just a shame no late bar.
Norwegian couple
Our first hotel at our stay in Hanoi, can not give any lower than 10/10. Breakfast was amazing and they had both Vietnamese and western breakfast. Room was clean and no noise from the street.
Friendly, clean, excellent service
I really enjoyed my stay at Silk Path Hotel. All of the staff went above and beyond. They were all so friendly and accommodating. Every day I was greeted with warm smiles and they always made sure I had everything I needed.
The Silk Path Hotel Hanoi was wonderful. Great location in the Old Quarter of Hanoi, excellent food and cleanliness. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Perfect
Great experience. Thanks for letting us checking in early . We really appreciate it. The room with modern equipped bathroom surprises us . Nice staff, good location .
The location is excellent in the Old Quarter- easy walking distance to many points of interest. The staff, food and facilities were of the highest standard. I would highly recommend a stay here.
The location was so convenient, close to everything that you need. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommend this hotel
Nice hotel. Great location. Very helpful staff.
Perfect location for exploring French quarter
Very disappointing...and we're supposed to come back for a few more nights. Upon check in we were told we had a king bed. Not true. They were gonna change our room and then said the beds are "moveable" and could be made into a king. We said great we're leaving in a while will let you know when we go out for dinner, and you can fix our bed then . Mention we were going to be back soon since we we'd been traveling for 25 hours. Upon returning 2 hours later exhausted, our beds were still not done. They mentioned they'd be right up to fix problem. 25 minutes later they fixed bed and we went to sleep. An hour later our phone on room wakes us up with front desk calling to apologize. Really? Really? Wake us up after all that.
Good location with firm beds
Good location in the Old Quarter and nice and quiet even though it is chaotic and hectic outside Friendly helpful staff. We didn't eat here at all. The breakfast seemed expensive. We found the beds extremely hard but after a few nights we got more used to them. A reasonable price.
Average Hotel
Average hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were okay; nothing special. Breakfast was not included. Hotel was a little far away from some major attractions. The room can get noisy from other people making noise in the hallway and room. This happened at 1 AM once, which made it hard for me to sleep.
Close to Old Quarter and to Hanoi Train Station.
Location near Hanoi train station and the Old Quarter was very convenient.
Good!
Really nice and clean hotel. Good service Cheerful, charming, efficient, welcoming and helpful staff Comfortable, clean rooms, but my room without windows Good location. large and quiet restaurant
Close to many amenities within walking distance. Staff were excellent
The staff! Nothing was too much trouble and every request was dealt with quickly and without fuss. Rooms are quite dark but to be honest we spent very little time in ours so wasn’t overly bothered. Location is great for all the main sights.
Providing some FOC Laundry daily by the Hotel and a fan to my room are the very thoughful services. The Gym Room timing should be longer and flexible instead of just 8 hours, too short and not flexible. Overall, All the Hotel staffs are very helpful to me and provide good services.
Recommended hotel at Hang Bong
Comfortable stay, pretty restaurant, helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay.
Good class hotel
Nice hotel, we enjoyed our stay. Staff speak English and are helpful.
FABULOUS hotel and staff and everything! Excellent location and food!
great location! staff very kind! everything excellente! I would come back to Silkpath Hotel if I came back to Hanoi some day in the future!
Loved the location of this Hotel in the old quarter of Hanoi!! We walked to many of the attractions. The staff were absolutely lovely. Khoi helped us everyday to find so many wonderful gems in the city. Including Restaurants, shops and attractions. He was always so kind, friendly and professional- it’s obvious that he really cares to interact with guests. He went above and beyond for us and really made our stay here wonderful. Thank you Khoi!!
The room is clean and the location is right in the middle of the town where we can go eat in within 5 minutes of walking. But the staffs are terrible, they didn’t explain to us about the benefits of the VIP access program. They didn’t want to answer anything about the program. The day we checked out they gave us the little farewell gift and a post card.
Service above and beyond ! Awesome
Awesome! We had booked another hotel and it when we landed realised that this was bad beyond imagination So went and booked this hotel the staff helped us with early check in and took care of us like a family , they arranged all our tours as well Really really impressed
Truky, money for value property. Excellent service, location near to places of interest, good eatries and most important... supberb service staffs whom always welcome you with a smile
All good, excellent choice, nice property, helpful staff, recommended
Convenient for downtown Hanoi. Nice people staff the hotel. Good restaurant
Personal care of concierge staff. I am a solo traveler
4 star hotel with 5 star service...
From check-in to dining, houseroom service and concierge, every service is done with a smile and patience. The bedroom is small, as expected in space constraint downtown Hanoi, but is definitely clean and not musty. There is even a rose in the bedroom. Reception desk gave very detailed advice on direction and good recommendation on where to eat. There was a waiter who knew the ingredients of dishes we enquired (due to food allergies). I can't remember his name but he was really patient with my family, who can't make up their mind. Another waiter serving during breakfast was polite and patience with an Indian family, who was totally rude and disruptive. I would have thrown the serving tray on their head! Concierge ensured we were the correct recipient before passing me the package left for by a friend. I have encountered 5-star hotel who just pass it to me just because I said the package is mine. We stayed in a 5-star hotel in Hanoi before our trip to Halong Bay and stayed in Silk Path Hotel subsequently as it is a 5-7 mins walk to the night market and Old Quarter. My fussy daughter requested that the next time we return to Hanoi, she wants to stay in Silk Path Hotel again. That's how impressive the hotel is...
Hotel convenient to Hanoi Old Quarter
We stayed here for 2 nights. It is located within the proximity of Hoan Kiem Lake, Trang Tien Plaza and part of the Old Quarter. The room was tiny, but I guess roomy for Hanoi standards, and clean. I did not check out the buffet breakfast so cannot comment. We got given a souvenir, which was a nice surprise! Overall, worth the room rate we paid.
Lovely hotel in good location
We stayed at this hotel for five nights . It was very clean and staff very helpful especially Nygiem . Some of their English could be better. The breakfast was varied and enjoyable. We had a meal on our first night which was delicious. Our rooms were very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again xxx
very dissapointed
it was very disappointed that a 4-star hotel, 100USD per day that do not include breakfast. Definately avoid this hotel for the next time to visit Hanoi
Good location, near to train station and eatery
English speaking and helpful staff has made my stay a pleasant one.
Nothing to say anymore
NOT GOOD AT ALL!!!!
2 nights in hanoi
excellent, service and service were great. I would recommend for anybody visiting hanoi.
Good location
It is a clean and comfortable hotel. Good located. Staff was very kind. Just need to Know that beds are twin. So if you are travelling with kids there are space just for 2 people in each bedroom.
Good hotel in centre of Hanoi
Very helpful staff, good food and comfortable clean rooms would highly recommend
good location, close to most attractions.
I had a room upgrade upon checking in (upgraded to a room with windows). The room was clean and neat. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. The location is superb, it was within walking distance to main attractions and had many shops and restaurants within the vicinity.
The place to stay when in Hanoi
Staff was great and concierge, duty manager and doormen DO remember your name! And we've received an upgrade for anniversary.
A nice surprise
surprisingly nice for the area. The hotel is modern and well maintained with very helpful staff. Would return.
Nice hotel and very clean
Walking distance to everything with really goood rates. Set up is like a 5 star.
Beautiful hotel, amazing staff
We loved this hotel, the staff were amazing and super helpful. the beds were soft, and the wifi was fast but for us the bathtub was the best part.
Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel, with excellent art and decorations. Very luxurious and convenient location. But the tub is way too high to get in and out. Can get hurt for young and old.
Lovely stay
Staff are the standout at this hotel, being professional, courteous, friendly and helpful.
Elegant and professional staff
Beautiful hotel, upscale with lovely VNese artwork. Service was very nice and the Staff professional and accommodating. Elegant. Some features not functionally designed, with the tub too high to climb in and out
Nice hotel with simple facilities.
Was woken up from my sleep in the early morning(3am) by the room attendence that they want to clean my laundry in my room. Really bad experience!
Good for both leisure and business
Very convenient location for both leisure and business. Walking distance to old quarter night market and Hoan Kien Lake. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will be my 1st choice when I visit Hanoi again.
Relaxing and comfortable. Room devices, such as TV or shower, could have been easier to operate.
Clean hotel, good for a few nights
Stay was OK - street facing rooms are a bit noisy. The staff was very friendly and helpfull.
A pleasant surprise
Friendly and helpful staff at front office, considerate and proactive Had teleconversation with the FO staff about the booking before coming, not impressed. During the stay, the FO staff were not only helpful, but also accommodating
Very good
We stayed here 3 nights. We like it. Will stay the same hotel when we back here again
I stay there every year
Silk path is a great hotel
Short stay for 2 days was excellent
Everything was excellent
We stayed at this property over the last couple weeks twice. The property is beautiful and modern. The rooms are fantastic and clean with great bedding. The best part of the hotel are the staff. They could all be working at a Four Seasons and be employee's of the month. This is from the front reception staff to the servers and bartender in the restaurant, bell staff and greeters at the door. They are all world class level.
Staffs are very friendly and helpful. Wifi is a bit slow. In general, I paid more than I got from this hotel service.
Great hotel
Lovely hotel. Right in the centre. The staff were really welcoming and helpful too. I would definitely recommend staying here again.
I often stay here for the occasional night in business. Comfortable, good wifi and helpful staff. I would recommend it.
Good overall for business.
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Very quiet room. Central jotel perfect for anyone on business and needingbto go to meetings in Ba Dinh, Hoan Kiem etc. The only slight disappointment was the room service choices. Could do with more vietnamese options and although cheap by western standards slightly price compared to other local hotels. I will stay again though as I slept very well there!
Oasis in Hanoi's Old Quarter
We were looking for a comfortable place to stay in Ha Noi's Old Quarter, and Silk Path fit for us. It is a new hotel with clean and comfortable rooms and a friendly and helpful staff. Public spaces are well designed and well maintained. There is a certain compactness to the Silk Path, inevitable because of its location in the Old Quarter of Ha Noi with its narrow, deep lots, so guests should not expect a soaring atrium and roomy luxury. The hotel more than makes up for this with its terrific location. Walking out the door, we found ourselves in the midst of old Ha Noi, and that's what we wanted.
Great hotel
This was our favourite hotel in Hanoi. Very powerful water pressure in the shower. It was modern looking, and they provide good service. Would definitely stay here again.
Good location hotel
Nice clean comfortable hotel close to hoan Kiem Lake and 36st Market(Night market, shopping). Room is moden & just a little small But clean room. Will come back to thes hotel again
Good hotel at nice location
Good hotel, nice location, lots of activity in the area for food and drinks at walking distance.
It it a really good hotel
I stayed here for 3 nights. It was a really good experience. New building, everything is new. Only one thing i didnt like is that the operarion time of gym is too short to work out.
A great place to stay in Hanoi
A very nice hotel in a good location within the old quarter. Nice room good facilities and staff very helpful. They facilitated a late checkout easily. The meals were very good with both western and local cuisine. I would definitely recommend them to others and stay there again.
Very nice hotel at convenient location.
This is the second time that I've stayed at the Silk Path Hotel. The welcoming, friendly staff and hotel amenities make it a comfortable place to stay while in Hanoi. It's convenient to the Hanoi Train Station (which I had to go through to get to SaPa) and to the Old Town section of Hanoi. Lots of sights and eateries within walking distance.
Great location
Great hotel on border of old quarter and french quarter. Staff were very helpful and room was very nice, clean and comfortable. Recommended.
Great hotel..terrific staff
We had a great time at Silk Path. Beautiful boutique hotel in the center of town. The staff was terrific. They set up a tour for us. Great personalized service. Walk to restaurants. Ask for room in the back to avoid noise from the street. Great breakfast.
It was nice as usual, this is where I stay everytime when I come to Hanoi for work.
Nice hotel in a good location
The staff was very attentive and always willing to help with a smile. Room was big, clean and the beds are comfortable.
Silk Path
Good overall but price was not all that great compared to what you can get for not that much more at a 5 Star resort like the Melia. Location is very good and service very good but rooms are smallish and bfast not included in the daily charge.
Escape from the hustle of the old quarter
Nice tidy rooms. Facilities, staff and breakfast were all excellent.
My home in Hanoi
I traveled to Hanoi 3 times a year, and this is where I stayed each time.
Comfortable hotel in a good location
Fulfilled all our requirements to visit Hanoi and the area.
Good location... Very well maintained rooms!
Would definately recommend silk path hotel in hanoi.
Central in old quarter quiet room
Easy check-in, Also check-out the next day to go to Halong Bay, left luggage with the hotel on return to check in for 2 more nights. No hustle there. Drink and Fresh fruit on arrival which is a nice touch. Small but adequate gym with sauna on top floor. Central in the old quarters, quiet room. free wifi.
Would definitely return!
We stayed in this hotel twice, the first through another website where we booked an Executive Room. This was very spacious and we were absolutely delighted. With Expedia, we were on a package so the room was smaller and there was no clear view from the window. But the room was still very pleasant and acceptable. The staff, especially the Concierge were most helpful. A wonderful experience.
Great hotel, great service
Very comfortable hotel with terrific service. Nothing too much trouble, even sorted out our mobile phone communications problems for us.
Perfect location - great quality
Very nice hotel in an ideal location for exploring the Old Quarter - everything is walking distance. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Especially helpful when we had to amend our booking.
Short stop-over
It was very clean and comfortable. The staff were so friendly and went out of their way to help me. The breakfast buffet is very nice with a good selection and I also had dinner in the main restaurant and that was also quite good. The location is also very good. I would definitely stay again. The only "down" side is the internet connection in the business centre was so slow but I'm told this is a problem throughout Vietnam and not specific to the hotel. I only stayed 2 nights but I think that was enough to form an opinion
Happy Holiday
Everything one needs from a hotel was there even fire masks and permanent charging torch.Staff very helpful and courteous.
Not as expected
Looks great from the outside but from our room, we heard everything! Other people's conversations, the walkie talkies of the staff, the music from the ground floor, the scraping of chairs across the floor from the downstairs dining room. We had a light right outside our window that people kept turning on - we had no blockout curtains. The bathroom wall is frosted glass - unless you know the other person well, that could be uncomfortable for some. Breakfast was NOT included and neither was a welcome drink. There was also no DVD player in the room, as stated. However, the staff had great English and helped us with our tours. The hotel also states it is in "the heart of the Old Quarter" ... it's actually about a 10 min walk.
Pretty good
very new, clean, with high quality facilities. Room a bit small but not a real problem.
Nice hotel
Good hotel close to old quarter and French quarter
Peace and tranquillity in a frenetic city.
Great location for exploring the city. Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean, comfortable and well stocked rooms.
Oasis in hectic Hanoi
clean quiet modern and definate oasis in hectic hanoi. great location close to everything and nice breakfast.
Excellent hotel- Expedia info lacking though
Great hotel. Like many in Vietnam, if you have kids, they will charge a fee for an extra bed, so confirm this with them at the time of booking. Also, there was no mention of breakfast on Expedia which turned out not to be included, which is a pretty standard part of a hotel booking in Vietnam. Overall, the hotel and staff was excellent.
Modern hotel
Very modern hotel wit friendly staff and great location. Everything in walking distance. The hotel itself was lovely well decorated breakfast was good.
For your shote stay, highly recommended.
This is not a resort hotel, but it's big/clean/convenient enough to go around the city. There is not much things to do in Hanoi, so just a couple of nights at this hotel would be good! It's cheap but it's more than that! Also it's away from backpackers hostels. It's not in Old Quater but just only 10-15 mins walk and away from the noise.
Good value for the money
Hotel looks like new; modern and well maintained. Staff is helpful and friendly. Location is good and walking distance from main attractions at Hanoi. Breakfast was ver Y good and offered a good combination of vietnamese and western food.
Look No Further. This Is It !!
This is a very classy hotel and a great value. I highly recommend it. I've stayed in many hotels in Hanoi, trying to keep my expenses low yet have comfort, cleanliness, quiet, and convenience, and this hotel delivers it all. From now on, whenever I'm in Hanoi, this is where I'll stay.
Good quality reasonable price
Nearly new hotel , good experience Pleasant small bar and restaurant good location
Well situated hotel
I found the hotel very well situated and good for business people and couples. It was clean in most areas but the staff were very helpful. You received the service that you paid for and the star rating is correct. No problem with Wifi which for the business person is a major factor
Very clean facility with friendly staff in a prime area. Thinh Nguyen was very friendly and accomodating.
