I have stayed here many times before Covid. First time back and all guests are now Chinese and not many staff speak English. only one choice of white wine and it's too sweet for me. Italian restaurant still good and executive lounge. Shangri-la hotel is now a better choice.

A great hotel for business travelers. Clean room, good breakfast and convenient location.

The only complaint I have is the lighting in the room. I stayed at a Club Room on 27th floor. There were not enough lightings along the windows causing me to struggle to pack up my bags at night.

The check in was easy and very informative. When we got off of the elevator on our level there was a dusty and dingy carpet smell. The room was very spacious compared to similarly priced rooms we’ve stayed at comparable hotels. The breakfast had plenty of Chinese and a few western options. The kids enjoyed the swimming pool. Very conveniently located. Would definitely stay again.

I took some time trying to figure out the best hotel to stay in while in Ningbo for the weekend. I am happy with the choise I made by staying at the Sheraton. Reception The reception was great with most of the employees being happy and cordial. Very friendly. Location We asked for a room that faced the bund - they're 2 blocks away so you get a nice view of the light show but not of anything past the building in front of you. The rooms are clean and well maintained. We took full advantage of the bath. I would definitely go back again. Food The breakfast selection was okay. They had some foreign picks - cheese, bread, pancakes, waffles, cereal, limited fruit(oranges and apples), juice, eggs(boiled or fried - not scrambed or omellettes) but a lot more in terms of chinese options Pool The pool is an industrial exercise facility. It is not a place to go relax, which I think works for some but I was looking forward to reading a book by it.

Great hotel

Great hotel with very friendly staff close to the metro and train station. Nice and spacious rooms. Very clean. Breakfast and dinner are delicious with a great selection. Club Level is also well maintained with an exceptional customer service.

Matches expectations for price and quality

The hotel is perfectly fine for it's price, comfort and expectations. There isn't much around beyond a Starbucks- the local options are pretty dire, but I think that's more a function of the conditions in Ningbo than the hotel.

This hotel is conveniently located in a very "China Modern" part of town. Wide variety of foods only steps away and a great Starbucks right next door. Shopping a short taxi ride away.

I was disappointed in the breakfast assortment and menu. I've stayed at this hotel many times over the years and I remember the breakfast being better. More fresh fruit! Staff is very friendly and the location is good. I would recommend the hotel

Always my go to when travelling to Ningbo

I always stay at the Sheraton. Their service is consistent, always great. Rooms are clean, neighborhood is good-esp if you are a foreigner. Starbucks next door, massage, dining, convenience store all near by. Sometimes the breakfast buffet is lacking, I'm not sure how I've been there twice and it's like they are running out of food. I'm not showing up later, so I'm not sure if they are short handed, or what. Otherwise, its exactly what you would expect from a Sheraton.

Close to irish pub. Talk good english. Western restaurant inside are very convenient when you get tired of fish and noodles

The room was fine and bed was comfortable, though I did have to kill a cockroach in the bathroom which was disgusting.

Very nice hotel, more than what we expected of a hotel in Ningbo. The restaurant is a bit expensive for what they offer and do not try to get them to do anything out of their set menu, but this is typical of hotels in China. The rooms are wonderful and the bathrooms are huge. Very comfortable.

Feeling as executives again !

We are happen to be offered to stay at the Executives Floor. The location of the hotels is very good, very central in the Ningbo City. There are some good and bad for your consideration : Good - Breakfast ( 6-10+am ) and Night Snacks ( 5-8pm ) with free drinks on the 32nd Executive Lounge. Very friendly staffs. Very quiet place to start and finish a day. The bedding are very nice and we had good sleeps. Bad - Parking lot will a maze share with number of building, and many cars are so dirty and dusty parked in the same parking lot that make the place a little creepy. No one really introduce us all the benefits of being at Executive Floor, until we happen run into the top floor to relax for a drink and learned from the attendance. So we missed both nights to have a chance to enjoy the happy hour. The cleaning at the changing room for the pool is messy. I think it is due to the manner of the local guests. There is a rule for swimmers to wear hat to swim, or have to buy one for RMB30 each if you do not have one. This make me feel taken hostage as this is a rare requirement in the west or even Sheraton in China. Well, I respect it, so both me and my wife bought one to avoid missing a chance to swim at the hotel, and enjoy the facility. There was no life guard in place for safety or regulate swimmer behaviors at the pool. The team running the club house is not every attentive and professional with caring altitude. Very nice ! I am a Starwood Member.

Beautiful hotel with a very nice breakfast. The rooms were nice and had free Wi-Fi. I didn't feel my air conditioning got as cool as I would have liked, but it was also almost 100 degrees outside. The swimming pool was great.

Excellent service still makes all the difference

I have stayed in several hotels in Ningbo but this Sheraton is by far the most comfortable. From the Bellman to the excellent staff throughout the hotel the service is excellent. There is an attention to detail here that goes well beyond the lobby and front entrance. This hotel is immaculate from the elevators to the rooms and has stayed that way over a long period of time.

Nice Hotel in Ningbo City Center

Overall my stay of one night in this hotel was OK. The rooms were spacious and clean. But you could not help noticing that the facility itself is old. The Italian restaurant on the 2nd floor was nice. But the food took a long time to show up and were brought in different phases - while some were finishing and others were starting with appetizer in our group. The breakfast buffet seemed vast, but while I was trying to find non-pork dishes, to my surprise less than half of the items seemed to fit that category! On top of that the staffs did not speak English and could not communicate or explain anything that I asked them. The few items I tried were average to below average in quality. The hotel receptionists were courteous and responded to requests well.

room is nice and big, food is good, service is excellent, but must say the room didn't get as cold as usual this time which made sleeping a little tougher. overall a great place to stay while in Ningbo.

nice and relaxing stay

it was a short but relaxing stay in Sheraton Ningbo. the room is huge, not that modern (perhaps in few years time the renovation is required) but is good enough. The bed is comfy and the bathroom is quite cozy. will certainly recommend this hotel. The facility is surprisingly good: the gym, pool, sauna and jacuzzi

Free Shuttle to Ningbo

Excellent Place. only Recommendation, Get rid of the Guy that constantly is trying to give you cards for call girls on the way to the Irish pubs across the street. After all it is Sheraton Property by the loop drive that this guy stalks everyone.

Best place to stay in Ningbo

We stayed here for 3 nights on a business trip in October 2011. We used the complimentary shuttle bus service from Shanghai to Ningbo which was excellent. You have to book in advance but in my opinion, it is the best way to travel to Ningbo. Journey takes around 3hrs but it is very comfortable. Sheraton Ningbo hotel is a very welcoming retreat from the hustle and bustle of Ningbo but be prepared - this comes at a price. We got a decent rate through Expedia but local prices in the hotel ARE expensive, comparable (and in some cases more) with major London hotels. Expect to pay around £5 for a coffee, £6 for orange juice and a BLT sandwich will set you back around £12. There is a lovely Spa and health centre but again, the Spa is very expensive - a facial is around £70 but they do a discount depending on the type of room you are staying in. Service in the hotel is very good. I had a superior deluxe corner room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the city. The facilities in the room and the comfort overall are exceptional. The bathroom is very spacious and well appointed. There is a Starbucks directly opposite from the hotel as well as a couple of Irish pubs and a very nice Italian restaraunt. You need to take a taxi to the city centre where the shopping malls are but as with most of China, taxi travel is very cheap. All in all, I would definitely stay at the Sheraton hotel Ningbo again.

Godt hotel som anvendes af flere forretningsfolk fra Europa. Rent og pænt med god services. Dog skuffet over morgenmaden, da det sagtens kunne have været flere retter for europærer. Det var 98% kineserbaseret, så svært at få en god start på morgen. Så flere gæster som havde medbragt mad fra Europa selv.

직원들이 아주 친절하고 상냥하여 역시 쉐라톤이구나 생각됩니다. 위치도 중심가에 있어 비교적 편리합니다. 다만 조식부페, 특히 석식 부페는 개선이 필요해 보입니다.

Für mich war das Hotel die perfekte Übernachtung vor dem nächsten Flug. Der Transport mit dem Hotel-eigenen Bus war perfekt. Stündliche Abfahrt bei einer Fahrzeit von ca. 30 Minuten. Für chinesische Verhältnisse perfekt.
