Hotel need the maintenance and renovation I think

.

The shower, bathtub & bathroom sink not draining. Dirt coming out from sink if taking a shower or having a bath. A great place with staff are amazing over good custom service.

Great hotel and location in KL

An overnight before flying home the next day. Enjoyed relaxing by the pool. Great size room with view. Top Recc. The little row of restaurants- left, left as you exit front of hotel……

Where to start!! Sheraton Imperial Hotel Kuala Lumpur has been my second home every time I'm visiting Kuala Lumpur. This year is my 5th visit to Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur. My visit lasted 3 weeks to a month/per visit. Make it special this year is The Chinese Lunar New year with all Chinese New Year decorations and Lion Dance performance. Let's start of an Excellent hospitality provided by the ladies and gentleman from Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur that kept me coming back over and over again! From the moment you step on the entrance carpet, the warm greeting and warm welcome given from all the Door man/Bellhop with a smile. This trip I managed to experience all facilities in the hotel. My room reservation is on the club level. The ladies and gentleman at the club always professional and friendly. To: Sha and Chung: Exe Club Lounge Essence( the cafe ) I had breakfast there almost everyday. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. I can't remember her name, she is the chef at the Soup and Tim Sum Station. She so friend and patient even i saw some customer giving her hard time just because she don't understand what the guest need. 5 stars to ms.mek Bell, mr mokthar. Spa, ms shah. Bartender, mr vino. Concierge, mr Logan and mr anuar,deen Housekeeping, ms zainadah Hotel manager, mr afendy. Japanese restaurant, mr faizal. Will be back soon!!

Firstly I honestly loved to stay at this hotel because of high rise room and smoking indoor of the room. So i booked this hotel again after few month later, i required the receptionist that i wanted a smoking room via online but they didnt inform us that the policy and regulation has implemented that smoklng is not allowed in all the room after only checking in. If i had known about that new policy, i would not booked this hotel. And the service seems not good is that compared to my last stay especially those receptionist/counters who are unfriendly and no one was there at night sometimes and even we called the receptionist but no one answered... Wondering what were the receptionists doing at the wee hours??? Lastly, these essential toilet never top up after day by day and we asked them to top up like shampoo, shaver since 4 days, so frustrating... We would not book this hotel again in future. Best to you

The place is old and needs maintenance. Our air-conditioning was running even we had turn it off and they couldn't fix it.

Very old hotel in a very good location service was lacking and hotel needs renovation. Was given a smoking room which had to be changed. Baby cot had chewing gum stuck to it which my child put his mouth on. Ants and insects in the room. Breakfast was very average and the juice lady didn't feel like serving us any of the 6 days we were there

Good location, bad place to stay.

So we check in around 10 pm and one of the rooms where real smells humid and has water drops coming from the AC in the dressing room. We asked for changing the room, so this has not been taking seriously, so I needed to step down and re ask the receptionist for that. Funny enough she wanted me to provide pictures proving that. Then room changed to a different floor, so now my kids are 10 floors away, as they claimed no available rooms in the same floor. I accepted as I had no other option, we moved to the other room and it smells terrible, seems it had been left with no AC for long days. My wife decided to go and have a fight with took a plenty of time with some anger level, then we secured a room for the kids 4 floors away which was decent. Upon check out we asked for bell boy to help with the language but never came, so I had to take everything down myself, when I saw the bell boy down hr apologized claiming that he is so busy. Very low quality hotel and super old, can’t be considered as Sheraton, though the location is awesome and very close to everything. Will never repeat.

There not a lot of check in counter. I was told that the hotel staff will call when the room was ready but there is no call till 345pm where I have to go to the counter to check for my room.

Friendly staff. Good location. Recommend the spa. The cleaner let down the experience. Most days there would be something missing from the room that needed to be replaced, but when I called they fixed it up immediately.

Great place to stay

The hotel in its self was very beautiful but on arrival we were scheduled to check in at 1500 but due to system errors we were made to wait almost two hours after our scheduled check in time which was very frustrating and there were not enough attendance at the front counter to support checking in personnel it was a very big back up

Every one of the staff I interacted with were excellent. All were help full, polite, and happy pleasant people. I cannot think of anything I did not like.

Wonderful lobby area that is breathtaking to behold. The rooms are very large ... however this is an old property and this is noticeable in the rooms that could do with a makeover. However the lobby area is exceptional. And makes up for everything. Great service as well. Hospitality gets top marks!

The room, breakfast and atmosphere of the hotel is very nice. Around the hotel, there are many kinds of nice restaurants.

We had booked a king room and received a smoking room. The reception said they will change our room the next day but they didn’t have any non-smoking room even tho we reserved one and prepaid for it. We spent 6 days in a smoking room with a terrible smell that bothered us throughout our stay. At times we will go down to the mall across the street to spend time. The staff was very friendly but I will not be returning here next year

The front desk service is not so great and efficient. Carpet in hallway has many stains on 28th floor.

Fabulous

Had a fabulous stay. Booked the club room which gives access to club lounge which provides snacks, drinks throughout the day and cocktails in the evening. The breakfast buffet is the best I've seen with an international selection. The pool area is lovely and very relaxing considering we were in the middle of a city. Easy access to transport. Would suggest get the Grab app which is a cost effective way to get around

This is our first trip to Malaysia and after this experience this will be our last trip. This experience has definitely put me off coming back. I booked 2 rooms in March 2023 for December 2023 and requested rooms to be next to each other because we're travelling with our children. The Hotel failed to acknowledge our request and we only found out when we arrived at the hotel. We had to wait a long time at the lobby. This hotel staff is very unwelcoming. The staff at the reception offered us 2 rooms in different floors, which is not suitable having the children on another floor. Other option given was rooms in the same floor but it is smoking room. The whole floor and the room smelling like an ashtray. The deco, bathroom and staff is nothing like a 5 star hotel. Sheraton Imperial Hotel as a 5 star is misleading. Ive witnessed how staff treat (bum lick) other communities (non Asian). Maybe thats how they are. I've travelled a lot but this is the worst, worst than 1 start hotel. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! DONT WASTE YOU MONEY AND EXPERIENCE

I love to stay this hotel due to the location. However it was disappointing during this trip. I booked a room for three (3) persons however only two (2) towels & slippers were prepared. The lever of the toilet was broken. I requested a stuff to rectify them however he didn't. Therefore I remined another stuff of these.

Had a wonderful stay at Sheraton for my mum's birthday - they even surprised her with a slice of cake when we ordered room service. Room service food was a bit of a letdown (the steak and lamb chops were under seasoned and quite tasteless) but breakfast buffet was wonderful. Would definitely come back for the service and comfort provided.

It was a sub-par Sheraton, it did its job for our over night stay in KL before heading to our final destination. The front lobby is pretty grand, rooms are decent in the Club level but service needs improvement. From check in to food service.

Top notch in every aspect. This was my eighth stay since 2010. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the comfort and convenience. Friendly and professional staff.

Crap business centre

I went to print document out in business centre (as instructed by reception) but no paper in the printer and the printer was not one connected to your computer??? Poor poor approach - somebody should be checking??

Great service and the bed was super comfy. The room was very big, but could do with some refurbishing. Overall very satisfied with our stay!

Room reeked of paint and turpentine, but was given a change of room after 3 hours. Other than that, our stay was pleasant.

The design of the shower without common sense, the bathroom is like a reservoir after take a shower. Do you expect the customer to use bathtub everyday?

Clean hotel, spacious room, well serviced and friendly staff.

Easy access to public transportation. Good shopping, restaurant and fast food options. Pool was nice, but outdoors and it was pretty hot. I could not figure out how to turn on the spa. Gym facilities were quite nice, Breakfast buffet offered a wide selection of Eastern and Western foods.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sheraton Imperial Hotel Kuala Lumpur, and I must say, it was an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the exceptional service provided by the staff. The housekeeping and doorman were always friendly and attentive, and made me feel right at home. The bed in my room was incredibly comfortable, and I slept soundly throughout the night. Its looks dated. And the pool restaurant was a good and busy Spanish restaurant, now it is deserted and in the sad state.

I AM GIVING A FRANK RATING FOR THIS HOTEL, HOTEL ROOM IS GOOD BUT A BIT AGED, BUT CONFORTABLE, LOCATION OK, SERVICE OK, BUT THE BREAKFAST IS JUST NORMAL NOTHING FANTASTIC (ONE MORNING WE GOT COLD PORRIDGE AND INDIAN FOODS, FLOOR MANAGE MR THEVAN IS AWARE OF IT) .

Just okay with no wow factor. Clean and comfortable for an old hotel. But staff and facilities ok but nothing to get excited about here. Don’t bother with a club room as the club lounge is packed and people are like a load of vultures as the small bites and drinks are free. We had to stand as no tables were available to sit down! Sheraton sort out your club lounge instead of your staff just passively standing there!! I think there are better hotels in KL so check those before booking here!

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights on a family holiday. The hotel is good with good room size. However, the services are quite disappointing. After we checked in, we noticed that there were no towels. We have to ask for them. They brought the towels, but didn't bring the bath mat and I have to ask for it again. Next day, they cleaned the room, but didn't fill up the soap and shampoo bottles. We have to ask for it again. Similarly, for breakfast, you have to stand in the queue for 10 to 15 minutes before being seated. You should avoid this hotel, if you can as there are plenty of options around this area and the KL city.

Good hotel, but disappointing service

We stayed there for 5 nights on a family vacation. The hotel is good with good room size. However, the services are quite disappointing. When we checked in, there were no towels in the room and I have to ask for them. They brought towels, but no bath mat and I have to ask for it again. Similarly, next day they cleared the room but didn’t fill up soap and shampoo bottles. Importantly, you have to stand in queue for 10 to 15 minutes to get seated for breakfast. Avoid this hotel if you can as there are many options around this area and in KL city.

We love the huge room size and the design of the room. Although during the stay, we found the rooms were not supplied with face towels and one of the room’s bathroom sink stopper did not work, but these are quickly resolved by the hotel.

Tissue and toilet paper not replaced

The hotel is near to MRT station which is convenient to access to other areas in the city. Besides, the quiet surrounding also can have some peace of mind and relaxing.

A lovely stay in KL

We have stayed in this lovely hotel for 3 nights for my birthday celebration. They gave us a petite birthday cake to surprise us. So sweet. The room is very spacious, clean, bed is so comfy too. Everything is perfect. We stayed at 32/F with lovely city view. Breakfast is not bad especially love their breads & pastries, they can also do fresh juice at spots too. It’s school holiday so many people but they seem to manage well too. The hotel is very near to LRT & MRT so the proximity is good as well. Highly recommended.

Have a break before Christmas

The staff was very friendly and helpful. Our room has a bit of problem and they changed our room immediately.

Nice lobby.. that's it.

Hot water system was not working in my room and I ended up inside a cold shower. After reporting the issue I was told to wait till next day in order to change the room. Next day I was offered a smoking room which I rejected. After waiting hours in lobby I was given another room but that was a twin bed room and not what I had ordered. This hotel is FAR from any major shopping malls. In order to get to KLCC you need to first take the monorail and then walk 30 minutes.

The check in process was not smooth. We called the hotel ahead of time to confirm our reservation, but when we reached there, at 9.30 pm, the clerk said that he couldn’t find our reservation. It was quite frustrating - we had 2 rooms and he had the reservation for one and not the other. The food at the restaurant was sub-par and the service even more so. Hoping this is a COVId setback and that things will be fine soon.

The room wasn't thoroughly clean considering the Covid prevention. Had to wipe the switches n telephone .

A very relaxing City break.

Great staff, great service. Our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Our room was excellent and housekeeping was great, efficient and friendly. The Lounge staff was efficient, friendly and helpful, esp. Jojo. We have always liked the Sheraton KL before the pandemic and now after, even more. They sanitize the seats and tables regularly. Glad to be back and will continue to stay at the Sheraton KL.

Well maintained, clean, friendly staff. Bathrooms well appointed and 5 star. Rooms appointed reasonably well. A/C works well and blackout curtains combined with the bedding made for a comfortable night's sleep. Lounge area is quite nice, though the upper level Club Area is not yet open. Parking is easy. Breakfast buffet is O:K but not grand.

I like the place but there was a bit of miscommunication with the front desk staff , at first she told me there was no buffet only in room breakfast so I didn't bothered to order , the next morning i found out that there was indeed a breakfast buffet but nobody informed me so i missed it , but I already paid for it . That made me upset . Nothing was done after .

Excellent, staffs are honest. I left my power bank in one of the rooms that me and my family I occupied and the housekeeper manager Khairol contacted me that I left it, thank you for being honest. On top of it, the facility and services were excellent. Please keep it up, will stay again definitely the next time me and my family visit KL.

My stay at the hotel was great. Near to sogo and few more shopping centre. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The security also was good. Got a safe motorcycle patking at the basement of the hotel, for those who are riding. Great experience, definitely will return back if coming to KL again. 😃👍

Extensive breakfast buffet many options including Malay and continental cuisine. Rooms are big. Small mall is located across the street and Petronas tours is any easy walk (15 min).

The location is good with the monorail line nearby and a nice walk to the Petronas towers. We also thoroughly enjoyed the pool and lobby areas. The staff were friendly and very accommodating during our stay. We found the bathroom in our room required some maintenance as there was dust hanging from an overhang in the shower and the taps were leaky. The room service meal arrived on time, but it was cold and we found the quality of food at a coffee shop to be much better in the mall accross the street.

Amazing stay

Amazing stay at the Sheraton! Convenient location for KLCC! The rooms are very clean and worth every penny. It my was mums birthday and they gave her a complimentary cake and balloons. Grateful for the service we received.

Festive short break

Sheraton Imperial KL has confirmed my request for high floor and non-smoking room on the morning of check in day, unfortunately it is either doesn’t appears in their system or the front desk staff doesn’t check at all when I check in. Requested for additional toiletries and towel, given that I booked for two adults and one child, it toke around 40 minutes for these items to sent to my room, poor staffing. There was no kettle in the room, again it toke more than half an hour to set after request. Club Lounge is good. The breakfast at Essence is reasonable and good, however, they don’t replenish it. The waitress led us to seat but leave us before ask what what drink we want, sigh, poor hospitality. Sheraton Imperial KL need to improve its hospitality.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Great location very close to monorail and right across the road from a mall. Walking distance to petronas towers. Really enjoyed the Buffett breakfasts. Lots of choices and caterers for everyone. If staying over the weekend go a bit early for breakfast as after 9 is extremely busy.
