2.5 hrs wait time to check in the morning after 10 hrs flight despite the fact that I informed them that I am coming early around 8am
Great Hotel for your Cairo visit.
This hotel was great. It is right by the river nile. I was able to see the Pyramids from my hotel room and get a view of the Nile river. In the morning you could see the sail boats. It was fascinating. The staff were excellent, v. friendly and helpful. Special shoutout to Asmaa. The restaurants are great. The breakfast was awesome. The only issue with this hotel is the constant cigarette smell in the lobby, at the entrance and in the hallway. It's literally everywhere even though there are no smoking signs posted. I was glad I couldn't smell it in my room.
Location and the view
Great hotel stay
Weve booked a club nile view room for two nights, arrived at 12 to check in at the reception and were directed to the lounge at 23rd floor for club and suites check in. The ladies at the lounge Mariam marina and mortina were super welcoming professional and nice. The lounge was panoramic you can see all cairo around you from there. Offering snacks through out the day and would like to give special thanks to Cristina as well for her special hospitality and kindness. In general staff in the lounge are very great. The room was of medium size but newly renovated and clean. The view from balcony over the nile was spectacular and the bed was comfortable. Two annoying things theough the stay that waa daily checkup on the inventory in the mini bar 🙁why i need someone knocking my door for this purpose as if im in police academy?!! And second annoying is how pushy and annoying the housekeeping to clean the room even when you nicely explain you dont need anything. As well as the security and hotel staff in the back door are to persistent to provide extra services you dont need, but didnt face the same in the front gate. Breakfast was varied and the view in the main restaurant was so good. Service at breakfast was so good as well. Special thanks to Marina. Location was great just in the middle of cairo easy to go anywhere.
Great Property and Service
We really enjoyed our stay. The property was well located to the important sites of the city. The staff was super accommodating. And the breakfast was one of the best we had in our two weeks in Egypt.
Very nice location!
Exceptional location, rooms and Buffett breakfast
Decent stay...
The rooms was a little noisy lots of people jumping on top of the room. Service at breakfeast awful no body cares... waiters are like zombies there. Checkin to pushy trying to upsale the rooms.
The service is top notch; staff is incredibly friendly and professional. Food is excellent. And you can't beat the location.
Great staff, facility and dining options. Would definitely recommend.
Great place, friendly staff. MR Victor was very nice and gave us a complementary dinner at the club house that was very nice of him. Thank you Sheraton.
Room bed is comfortable. Good staff service. Great bed. Good food. Room is a little noisy sometimes
I enjoyed my stay Very nice view from my room Easy access to anywhere in Cairo
4 nights in cairo
We stayed here for several nights and really enjoyed our rooms and the food. We took advantage of the business club on the 26th floor, even though we went to dinners out into town nightly
Very good
Hotel stunk of cigarette smoke everywhere, few non smoking signs and when we requested the non smoking area in the lobby, it was not enforced by staff. Staff uniforms also smokey, and smoking allowed at counter where food and drinks served. Then a manager was bullying his staff in the public area! Needs training. We walked to the Novotel hotel (5min) for dinner, great service and smoke free inside... area well defined. I appreciate the. Egypt culture is heavy smoking, but if the sheraton wants tourist dollars they will need to improve and make it a more comfortable environment Worst Sheraton I've stayed at. View of the Nile was good at night. Room was clean.
The service is very friendly, very nice and clean restaurants. Nice food . Classy nicely decorated lobby and coffee shop and restaurants
It's amazing place and amazing surface And amazing stuff
Booked this at the last minute to treat myself. Very spacious areas around the bar and cafe. The staff, however, were hard to flag for attention and once attended to, they were overly attentive to the point of being intrusive and needy (asking for good reviews). They would have got a good review anyway, but they just need a softer touch and be more subtle. The staff at check-in were exceptional and helped with several different needs during my stay. Excellent English language skills and very polished in how they communicate and assist guests. Concierge staff also very helpful and attentive. After my stay I made a special request via email and it was responded to very promptly. I didn't have a chance to use the facilities, but there was an extensive range of services and facilities. All round, a great experience if you are looking for a top star hotel in the Al Duqqi district of Giza, I would definitely recommend.
Service staff are the best of all 🙏🙏🙏👏👏👏👍👍😂
Service staff are second to none, it was a great check in by Soha, twice. Also so great to be shown our room’s features by “aam Bsheer”, also had the pleasure of meeting, accidentally in the elevator, the GM Mr. Ashraf Michele, to find out the real inspiration behind the great service. Top notch 10/10.
.
Excellent new renovated hotel very professional staff Amazing food variety in the morning breakfast many options for dining don’t forget the delicious Honey Cake from bridge cafe - overall wonderful experience
Wondetful experience with front desk staff especially Ahmedehab - fantastic help with extra night stay which i thought was included with package - as well as Ismail & all staff I encountered.
Great Experience
Great stay and had access to the Club Floor and facilities. Quite enjoyable. The Club Staff were very helpful and professional. The only negative would be in the morning at the Club Lounge for breakfast, the staff meeting in the kitchen/ prep area in the back, were conversing and it was loud, almost every morning. I was there for 8 days. Other than that, it was great. I’d return with no hesitation.
The furniture is quite old. However the service is excellent.
The staff could not have been nicer. It was very clean and upscale. Food was great. Room cleaned everyday. Over all easy to navigate around. I would come back.
Best assistance from staffs
I would like to thank the staff over the reception especially Suha is a very helpful and nice Indeed I m very grateful overall
Outstanding Performance at front desk very polite professional service Rooms are very clean and new
Center located
This is an excellent hotel with beautiful view of the Nile. Main drawback is indoor smoking. We did not get a king bed in a non-smoking room per our reservation and even on the non-smoking floor there was smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor. We did not appreciate that.
Lovely place to stay
be carful when you go there they always will come up with something only to keep your deposit ! I got charged for a bill like 4 times
In the center of the city very close to nile river The sing is too small the shower is small
Great stay
My wife and I stayed at the Sheraton while traveling with another couple and we had a great experience. Aside from being a nice, modern hotel, some highlights were: - A great pool and well-equipped fitness center - A fantastic sushi restaurant - An Italian restaurant that was tasty and a great value Overall, we were quite pleased with our stay.
View of the Nile.
It was great overall. Great location, not too far from the sights. Definitely a haven in hectic Cairo.
Great staff and clean property
Staff was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast was super nice. Beds super comfortable and the room had a nice view. The surroundings of the hotel and Cairo in general need a major cleanup and control of the stray dog population.
Thanks so much indeed
Great service and good location.
Good location with good service.
Great location and staffs aren nice.
We wish to had stayed at the Sheraton through the 4 nights in Cairo. We only ended up going to the Sheraton on our last evening because we extended our trip. The hotel is beautiful, clean, rooms are nice, and service was excellent.
Very nice. Many options for food. Can't beat the location.
Good experience
Very friendly staff clean and well maintained close to all sites
Great
We originally booked Aracan Pyramid and left day one. We searched for a new hotel and found this one. It was amazing. MARINA was the best.. super nice, helpful, knowledgeable, she made our experience way better from the very start. Room is spacious, bathroom is super amazing. Everyone is friendly. If your on a budget save money elsewhere and book this hotel you won’t regret it. Ask for a high floor and possibly the Nile view.
Booked king room given single
Booked king room and was given single and wasn’t able to change even though requested. Room also smelt of smoke
Smoke everywhere, I was on a non smoking floor and the whole floor was filled with smoke all day and the hotel staff didn’t care The hotel’s view of the Nile is not good, there is partial view and far away The concierge service is not good, they don’t help with tours or planing activities
Warm reception and friendly staff, especially, Shaimaa who was extremely helpful.
The hotel was lovely, staff great, the issue is the none stop traffic noise, even with doors closed it is far from sound proof. Keep in mind if your a light sleeper. If you go for a walk just be aware lots of scammers wanting to be your friend.
This hotel was amazing. Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to assist us during our stay. I would highly recommend this hotel to those visiting Cairo.
Michael at front desk very helpful
Outstanding staff
Sam at the front desk was wonderful at check in!
Staff are good except the ones at the reception Not well informed not knowing what is priority and what is not What I paid for is way less than what I got Restaurants staff were great and cleaning staff were great
I won’t return back to this hotel at all
Staff is wonderful and bends backward to help you. The area is busy but the walk by the Nike is nice and easily accessed. It’s next to a heavily fortified Russian embassy. I also miss a regular hand soap (bar or liquid) in the room.
Nice hotel
Good customer service. Very good breakfast buffet. Not great for walking to attractions for tourists, but short ride.
After all experience it’s fine
Clean oasis in cairo .comfy clean beds . very expensive breakfast not worth the price in Egypt
Good staff
Truth
Every think was very good

One of the worst hotel ever I had been staying.... Food quality so bad
One of the best place I have ever go and stay I want to thanks all the workers in the hotel specially Vip & club services manager Dina Lobbos thanks
Friendly Staff. I came late after restaurant closing time, and they offer me a dinner
Not perfect hotel service Shouldn’t be 5 stars
Clean Hotel, New Building, Modern Style and Great Location
The staff were so helpful and polite The hotel and rooms were very clean
NOT RECOMMENDED
I'm always staying in another 5* hotels in Cairo but this time I regret for trying and staying at Sheraton, unfortunately. 1st they let me waiting with my family around 1 hour in the reception till they find my reservation with unprofessional way of speaking. 2nd there was a maintenance works for the pool, the noises and disturbing was so horrible, after we complain they said that they wrote this in hotels.com which is not true, you can't find anything here about maintenance (just wrote the pool is closed) . 3rd it was the most disgusting, unprofessional and impolite behavior, in my last day imagine that they sent someone to check the minibar if we took something at 8:30 in the morning while we was sleeping!! It never happened to me before even in 4* hotels. The breakfast was overpriced. I believe bad management is the responsible for all that details. NOT RECOMMENDED
Amazing experience. The Front disk Soha is generous
Close to the city center. Also close to the Nile river.
Very convenient location close to downtown cairo. Newly remodled the rooms were spacious and new the staff were friendly and they were all so welcoming and accommodating. I wiukd like to guve a shootout to Mr. Ahmed Riad he facilitated iur check in and made sure that iur riom was ready before he left at the end of his shift. We will diffenetly stay there again we are going back in the summer and we already made a booking.
Clean place good staff good food and good niel veiw

First and last time in this hotel

Excellent hotel and location on nile
Beautiful views of the nile but construction work going on and pool closed. Service fantastic and breakfast with a vast and fresh choice with great chefs
Excellent service, great location. Everyone is super friendly and attentive to details. Had a lovely a week stayed there.
Nice stay in Cairo
it was a very pleasant stay and management was very professional and helpful.. however due to maintenance the noise was a bit high and hopefully after the maintenance is complete things will get back to normal
Thank you for your kindness
This hotel was beautiful and the gentleman in reception from Mansoura was extra kind to us and upgraded us to a suite which helped accomodate most of the wedding party and allowed us to prepare in this wonderful room. ! The staff were second to none. Amazing place. and the VIEW...........
Excellent staff - assisted in every need with rapid response. super food - well presented
average stay
Very noisy location with no option to eat outside the hotel. rooms are ok but not all that clean.
Every thing was excellent but be careful which restaurant you choose
I can't say enough praises for this hotel. We stayed here for two nights/three days. Everything was on spot. The staff was helpful. The rooms were very clean, everything well maintained. They can arrange a guide to take you to the pyramids, which we did (but to be honest you can do it yourself with Uber and you'll get the same experience.) But the highlight of our stay at the Sheraton was the Egyptian restaurant downstairs. The food was out of this world. Truly the epitome of what a culinary experience overseas should be. Delicious is an understatement - it was culinary perfection. Also the service at the restaurant was perfect - especially the manager who was in charge when we went there. He knew his stuff and was gracious and welcoming and genuine. An awesome experience. I would go back to Cairo just to eat at this restaurant.
Check in was slow - not expected at a Marriott property.
Great Stay
The staff was very kind and helpful. The location was also great!
I liked the security level as well as cleanliness and staff
Fabulous hotel
The stay at Sheraton was amazing even I extended my stay twice. The services are 5 stars and the room clean well furnished and high class.
Enjoy your stay at Sheraton Cairo
