Always, it’s delight staying with the SHANGRI LA, not only does the staff go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable, the surroundings of the hotel and the furnishings are perfect for if you’re trying to get away or staying during a business trip. I would live in the hotel full-time if I could.

Such an amazing place to stay! Every single staff member from housekeeping to front desk were phenomenal and made the stay so much better. The spa and carlino restaurant is what we had tried and both were amazing as well with service and food tasted good! Definitely recommended for a restful stay.

Shangri-La Vancouver was an exceptional stay with respectful staff, a large room size for two, and a location at the heart of downtown. The daily evening service was appreciated, with kind staff and many complimentary goods. The included breakfast at Carlino (bib gourmand) also had a calm ambiance, alongside its great menu and city view. It was walking distance from most if not all the prominent landmarks and locations of the downtown area.

Quality service

We were treated horrible for coming from the states. There was dill pickles in the lobby! They didn’t honor our VIP credit. The spa is a disappointment has no steam room for the men and the sauna wasn’t warm. Vincent acted aggressive and they didn’t honor $50 inconveniences credit. Our bedding had someone else’s blood stains. Baris was rude and it took 40 min to check in because they gave us someone else’s room with their cookie amenity. Very rude staff and they serve spoiled food and there negligence could have caused us food poisoning.I would never recommend this motel 6 of a hotel this should be stripped from Forbes and pictures will be sent to them.

I was a little disappointed with this property. Seeing I’ve traveled to other Shangri-La’s, I was expecting something different. This property isn’t large at all, the hallways are very narrow, there’s no lounge area, they have a small restaurant with a bar which was lovely. The hotel is not in pristine shape, it’s quite run down for a luxury hotel. I’d expect these conditions at a Marriott or Ritz Carlton, but not at a Shangri-La. The location was great, right downtown, walkable to many things. Close to the water and all the shops on Robson. High end stores within minutes. Everything for me was within a few minute walk. The views are also terrible due to the location and there aren’t a lot of amenities. The hotel is so small they only had one steam room in the women’s change room and the sauna was in the men’s. Which I found odd but I guess they were tight for space. You do really really that everything was tight and narrow. All that being said, the staff were exceptional right from when I stepped out of my Uber right till when I checked out. I would recommend this place but I wouldn’t except luxury. The restaurant was fine, the food wasn’t over the top but it did the trick, and they were very accommodating.

This hotel is exceptional. We were there to attend a conference. It was conveniently located with lots of great restaurants within walking distance. The front desk was wonderful and pleasant. They were there for us at every request. I will be recommending Shangri-La to anyone who is going to Vancouver. I will be back for sure!

I don't think I can recall a luxury hotel stay that was as comfortable and luxurious as our time at the Shangri-La Vancouver. The hotel is almost understated when you consider that the larger-than-life Paradox Hotel is just across the street with, and the Shang's driveway is almost hidden, but understatements cease there. The Shangri-La is, in a word, elegant, in every way imaginable. Another word I would use is exceptional. From the moment we arrived, on a very rainy day, every single member of the staff was prepared, willing, and cheerful in making our stay as comfortable as humanly possible. The hotel has 15 floors, an excellent spa and wellness level, a Michelin recommended restaurant (Carlino), and 119 beautifully appointed rooms and, somehow, impossibly, the staff made us feel like we were the only guests there. If you're trying to decide what hotel to stay at to make your stay in Vancouver as pleasant as possible, look no further. Make the investment and you will not be disappointed.

Great customer service all around. From valet to checking in, room service, and checking out, the Shangri-La Vancouver has the greatest appreciation for their guests. Their accommodation is definitely top-tier and the views and amenities provided a pleasurable stay for the weekend.

The Shangri-La is an intimate and quiet hotel near all of Vancouver's downtown offerings. It lacks the views of harbor-front hotels, but that's about the only negative. Very helpful staff, nice spa and restaurant and outstanding rooms.

Great location, great friendly staff, rooms are good size and comfortable. Better experience than the Fairmont from service and room perspective. Has level 2 EV charging, we used through valet.

This hotel is located in a very elegant part of town, easy to walk around, lots of shops and restaurants close by

Almost impeccable! What I can suggest is to upgrade TV because it seems to be an outdated mode in comparison with other hotels. Other than this, we truly enjoyed staying in the hotel.

Excellent staff although we felt nobody was really around which seemed odd. But, definitely readily available on request. Our room felt outdated and cheaply furnished considering the price per night. Bathroom is beautiful however and the features throughout were innovative.

Everything was amazing

We were upgraded to the presidential suite and it was the best stay. Their service was amazing. We celebrated our wedding anniversary and they gave us some champagne and a cake for celebrating
