Good hotel
The beach was perfect The food too was perfect but the bar has very simple drinks The room was sea view It is a morning hotel, at the night you will stay in your room
Initially upgraded ( ! ) to a bungalow. Two separate beds. A TV with about 12 channels and only one in English on a TV set that came out of the 1970's with abysmal reception. There was no internet available unless you wanted to pay per hour ( expensive ) by purchasing a card. There were no plugs in the sink or bath, no coffee provided and a window that was exceedingly difficult to open and close with a fly screen that did not fit. This all inclusive resort consisted of the worst wine I have ever drunk in my life and what seemed to be watered down ( or the absolute cheapest ) spirits. The staff however everywhere were friendly, accommodating and efficient, polite and respectful. The food was generally very good albeit a little bit repetitive, the grounds and amenities, beach and everywhere were all kept clean...although I did find it irritating that lying on a sunbed one was continually pestered by touters for various other services. Nevertheless overall pleasant enough for a short stay but at the end of the day it is not a place I would ever return to.
budget hotel / need more renovation
we were a group of 24 + 4 children , we booked 11 rooms in soft all inclusive bases , (low quality juices) check in was fast and the reception staff were very good , Hotel all in all is OK for the people who looking for budget hotel , Rooms are very old with very old facilities , in some rooms air conditions not working or needs more maintenance , Rooms has very old TV " not flat , not LCD , not LED , . most of the TV channels not working Food , the variety is very limited and not tasty except one day from the five days we stayed , No service on the peach , if you need any thing you have to go yourself , They use a very cheap plastic cups . not environmental friendly , Staff is very polite ( but they are not professional ) except a few of them Beach is save for the people who cannot swim , Animation team is not bad
nice with few comments
rooms appliances are old.. however the room is clean . Pool is nice and beach is Sandy and beautiful there are some corals too for those who love snorkelling .. food tastes good but there ain't many varieties.. weather of safaga is amazing.
Nice hotel
Nice hotel... me and my family really enjoyed.. we will be back. Beach was exlant for kids and also a good restaurant with a good service. Need better entertainment but was okay for me, quite is my favorite.
Great Hotel
This is a great place for families . The sand is soft and tender, there's a huge number of sunbeds and umbrellas, so you can come any time and still find a nice place for sunbathing and relaxing. Food is good, dinners have grill food of different kinds. There are restaurants a-la-cart with romantic atmosphere and tasty food, which are included in the price of the tour. For those who love to snorkel, there are alive corals with multicolored fish and beautiful underwater world. For babies there are free cribs and baby beds. There is a small market with different goods outside the hotel, where you can buy souvenirs, fruits or whatever you want.
A Wonderful Surprise! Highly Recommended!
I booked Shams Safaga Resort because of the reviews and the hotel ratings on Expedia. The description and the pictures all looked and sounded wonderful. But, I arrived with a bit of caution because I thought that the "all-inclusive" deal and the pictures were too good to be true (I didn't expect complimentary meals and drinks or such an elegant hotel). What I experienced instead was a slice of paradise...the hotel lobby, the gift shops, the cocktail lounge, the restaurant, the pool, the grounds, the beachside amenities and the rooms were all so much better than I expected. EVERYONE was very friendly and helpful...the front desk, the bellhops, housekeeping, etc. The shopping arcade prices were quite reasonable and had wondeful selections. The cocktail lounge and staff were the best, and the complimentary drink choices (all Egyptian-made liquors and beer) were a delight. As for the restaurant, I was amazed at the offerings and the dedicated staff. The hours of operation are long and and the beautiful layout of the buffets offers EVERYTHING...soups, many salad choices, a variety of breads, and endless entrees, vegetables and deserts. My 5th floor room had a spectacular view of the grounds, the pool and the beach. The massive grounds were a tropical paradise and beautifully attended to every single day. The pool was large and beautifully designed. The massive beach had endless amenitities. All in all, this was a wonderful experience and I felt safe and secure!
hotel stay was good. Premises are a bit old, and in my opinion would require an update. Little shops and pharmacy in proximity, so it was good for solving last minute issues. Multiple bars and buffet restaurant available, with daily grilled meat/fish.

A voir .. Cordialement.
Shams
Experience to be repeated
All in all it was lovely trip the hotel is very nice, excellent beach, room was great but I think food needs some attention
The restaurant team were the best
I really liked and enjoyed my stay in Shams Safaga resort. The beach is sandy and amazing . The restaurant team were really welcoming and doing their best to please everyone. We only had an issue when we checked in , the receptionist told us that there is booking registered for us which was a real shock and that we have to do rebooking but the hilarious thing was when I asked him let me check the list , I found my name !!!! Our room was on the fifth floor which the roof , you may suffer from the noise of the birds but the view of the sea was really a blast. The overall stay was very good . I would like to go there again.

3rd visit with family
this is my 3rd time at Shams Safaga with family, the only good thing about my stay was the price and the beach, other things was less than average, the Food and Beverage staff are not friendly at all
