The actual property location and the Shambala estate is beautiful, however the cottage unfortunately doesn’t match up to the advert. The property itself is tired and needs a refresh, which I could overlook, however the cleanliness was appalling. By far the worse place I’ve started in a long time where it was like no one had dusted or wiped surfaces. Very disappointing stay

Excellent stay. Beautiful grounds and the room had everything we needed.

Great location

Staff were very good. Fix up a small problem straight away. Complimentary wine given, much appreciated But for the price of room. It would have been nice to have a welcome basket of goodies or continental breakfast items.. room was lovely but getting a bit dated Bit of a musty smell A great location .. near quite a few wineries, food and restaurants

Pleasant and peaceful

The villas are in a beautiful location. It is quite idyllic and very peaceful. The decor is pleasant, if a little dated. The kitchenette is quite well equipped, the fridge badly needs defrosting. The bed is very comfy. The shower is ok with plenty of hot water.

Beautiful cottage and we will definitely be back.

We have stayed a couple of times now and have had great experiences both times. Highly recommend if you want hassle free accommodation with beautiful gardens located in an excellent location.

It was a lovely secluded private cottage surrounded by beautiful bushland.

The area is beautiful. Nice and quiet. Great walking trail 700m away.

Shambala was one of the best experiences and stays we have ever had. The nature, location, comfort, the list is endless. We have already booked again to stay here and one of our favourite new destinations. Thank you so much to the staff for making us so welcome.

A lovely place for a quiet getaway but close enough to great food and hikes

Nice place. No meal option. Nice to have Netflix as options on the tv, but disappointed it was in Philippo.

Check in was a bit clunky but the rooms were clean and functional. Knowing there were cooking facilities in the room would have helped me prepare for my stay better, but I’ll know next time. It’s a lovely peaceful place to stay

Wonderful people. Beautiful place. Most of their promotional material is focused on weddings but it's a brilliant place for a relaxing, peaceful, night away. Strongly recommended.

Beautiful property and grounds and lovely service!

Clean spacious room, enormous bathroom. Good location not far from restaurants and attractions. Disappointed we had to buy firewood at $10/bag for the fire, not provided. Needed it as the aircon unit wasting big enough to heat the whole space which has high vaulted ceilings. Otherwise a lovely stay and we would return.

The cottage was in a beautiful, quiet location. The staff were very friendly. The room clean. A beautifully appointed cottage. We were in Cottage number 3, (Indulge-a-while) & had a spa bath , but the spa never worked which was a great shame. We had a king size bed but unfortunately the mattress caused my husband to roll into the middle all the time, so we never had the best sleep. Check in and out was very easy.

The fire place was lovely. We thought there was a spa bath but that part didn't work, it could only be used as a bath. Overall was a lovely stay.

Gorgeous private cabin, very secluded

The setting was gorgeous, with amazing, lush gardens, birds all around and it was really private. It would be perfect for a weekend away as a couple. As a business stay, the main drawcard for me was the kitchenette, to make a meal at home (as midweek the mountain doesn't have many dining options). The gas cooking was great, however there were a few things that I felt were missing (no chopping board, no sharp knives, and the only pot was super tiny, not big enough to boil pasta/potatoes etc) which would have made it a really great place to be able to have a cooked dinner in, especially with such a gorgeous deck out the back to enjoy. Also there was no WiFi, and very limited phone reception. A really comfortable bed and such a great sleep in the peace and quiet made up for a lot though!

A cottage with a fire place

Friendly staff, well kept grounds. This is primarily a wedding function venue so there is no restaurant. However, the local restaurants and cafes are only a 5 minute drive at the end of the road accompanied by a local supermarket and liquor store. The Shower head for room was not the best and the temperature of the shower alternated between extremely hot, to cold. The cottage was clean but could do with a detailed clean. Pillows were old which is no good if you are allergic to dust mites. Bring your own pillow. Overall though, the cottage was very quiet with a view to some native trees. The fire wood and fire starters were supplied. A great romantic getaway, hidden away not far from the town centre.

Quiet hideaway.

A peaceful getaway. lounge uncomfortable(futon). Spa didn't work. All else fine. bed very comfy. Fire cosy. Stunning surrounds, well manicured and kept.

Scenic and quiet

Beautiful gardens and surroundings and very quiet

The accommodation was set in a beautiful garden which is well maintained. I think we were definitely spoiled as we were there early in the week and had the place to ourselves. It was secluded, peaceful and the only sounds were the bird life which we enjoyed.

Absolutely perfect country getaway

Beautiful country hideaway. Clean, relaxing and helpful staff. We attended a wedding at same venue which was truly amazing

Nice Getaway

This is a great spot on top of the Mountain and away from the busy main area of Mt Tamborine but still close enough to still be able to enjoy what Mt Tamborine area has to offer. The cabins are quite nice and with a fireplace and spa bath it is perfect for a romantic getaway. The bed is quite comfortable although they could use better quality pillows and the lounge in Unit 1 could use replacing but everything else about the room is great. Kindling to start the fire would also be a help.

Lovely, private and peaceful Cotttages!

A lovely tranquil spot that is super cosy and private! Accomodation is lovely and staff are very accomodating but not overbearing.

Beautiful romantic escape

Lovely gardens to stroll around, spa bath for two and warm crackling fire to settle in for the night. Great escape for couples!

Nice retreat with convenient location

In a secluded but very accesible location, a lushy forest with nice views. Hotel is very close to Main St and all areas of interests. Staff very friendly and attentive. Although the Air Con might seem a bit too smal for the room size and struggles in a hot day. Other than that, no complaints, you have all you need for a few days away. Would come back again. :)

Romantic, two days away!

Tamborine Gardens was a wonderful two days spent in North Tamborine. Despite being a little confused whether we were in the right spot (according to Google Maps there were two different places - one Tamborine Gardens and one Tamborine Gardens Wedding Accommodation), driving into the well manicured and beautiful grounds was delightful. Staff, on check-in, were friendly but a bit strange that as soon as they had our money there was nothing to sign or vehicle registration taken - small things, I know. The room was cute and cosy except for the cobwebs obstructing my views on the windows. When you pay $170 a night for somewhere to stay you expect it to be in mint condition and everything to be in beautiful condition (which most things were). Location was not that close to things to do such as the Gallery Walk, SkyWalk and Thunderbird Park. A short drive though. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay and only minor gripes. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to any of my friends who were looking for a romantic getaway.

Beautiful getaway

Amazing accommodation, beautiful area, great staff. Only downfall- the smoke detector above the bed, hard to sleep with the light being so bright on it. Otherwise, amazing room. Not many options in the area for evening dining.

Romantic Luxury

It is such a peaceful place to unwind,after a lazy lunch and loading up with local booty- fudge,wine,liquers & fruit we spent the afternoon on the balcony,then into the spa,and then back to the fire before preparing a simple dinner .Did I mention the Kingsize comfortable bed.
