Plus: truly beautiful resort, fantastic beach spot with access to corails, safe, friendly and dedicated staff, many swimming pools well maintained, very fair conditions overall and excellent value. Minus: way too much soliciting on beach (every 5min a salesperson come to you to sell something out of your all-inclusive package (they are the friendliest but do not understand they ruin our stay by harassing us). Some residents really lack manners and respect, can blatantly skip lines or listen loud videos on their phones without headphones, and this impacted mood but to be fair that is not the resort’s responsibility. The upgrade did significantly improve our overall experience, really worth it.

Relaxing stay at the resort

We stayed here for 5 days. We mostly had a nice, relaxing stay. The property is a bit outdated as it was built in 2007 but it's being kept in a nice condition. The aircon doest work peoperly in the rooms, sometimes it just blows air and it's very loud but it doesn't cool the room down at all. Other times it doesn't work at all. There are times when it works too. We asked for a take away breakfast one morning as we had an early start to go diving. We got 2 'sandwiches' each, one of them had a piece of ham in it and nothing else, the other a piece of cheese and nothing else. We also got some sweet pastry and apples. We also both got a mild case of food poisoning the next day (not sure if it was from the breakfast or other food in the resort). From then on we avoided fresh vegetables and fruits as we figured those are being washed with tap water most likely. The staff is very helpful, they try to do what they can to make the guests happy with their stay. The rooms are large, there's a big choice of foods for all 3 meals (it's all inclusive). There are several pools at the resort but they are not shaded at all, which makes it impossible to use them if you don't want to be exposed to direct sun. So overall a great stay even though it might not be 5* in international standards.

Check-in & check-out was friendly and efficient. General Manager, Aladdin was attentive, courteous and passionate about customer satisfaction. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were specious, clean, comfortable. The shower was spacious, easy to use and had a good pressure. The grounds were attractive and well maintained. Various pools available and all were clean, tidy and appropriately staffed. Good selection of food on offer during the three dining times.

Grounds are impeccable. Room was comfortable and quiet. Food was good, not great. Procedure for booking specialty restaurants is not easy. Overall a pleasant stay.

Old worn our hotel. Terrible food without taste in all restaurants. Most of the week our family had stomach issues.

Amazing stay

Amaaaaazing stay .. ive been to many hotels all over ther world and in Hurghada .. this is the best stay ever .. first of all u never see the unfair treatment as an egyptian .. every one here is welcoming and doing whatever he can to make ur stay the best ... food is very good and variety us wonderfull .. reception is amazing .. Mr Aladin the manager is always around .. the room was very clean .. variety of swimming pool .. the clean man was wonderfull man and cant be thankful for him ... all over we will come back again inshalla . I recommend Serenity Makadi Beach for a great and un forgettable relaxed vacation.. The only default is lacking for aqua park and if u want it u will pay .

Wonderful resort in a fabulous city

Not first time to Hurghada, very nice city for every one, the senior can find calm and peace, youth can find many turbulent places, and kids will enjoy a great choice of amenities. For Serenity resort, it is really wonderful, very good food selection in all inclusive category. Staff are exceptionally helpful, always smiling, try their best to make your stay as great as it can be. I should mention Mr. Badr here in particular. wonderful choices of swimming pools for all ages. very good diving center is available. Most importantly, great value for money. The only negatives are lack of wi-fi in rooms, and need for some renovation in rooms.

Nice holiday

The hotel was perfect and the food was awesome and all facilities were wonderful except the check in it was aweful,we waited for 3 hours untill they agree to check us in and after they told us they will charge us for a higher rate if they didn't collect the money and they don't know a website called hotels and they don't deal with this website that they never heared about and the problem was not solved untill we called the website and they called them but still we paid for sea view rooms but we got pool view rooms

I went to the resort for one week , every thing is excellent start from reception the reservation was very fast , very friendly staff in all the hotel , food quality is very good , room is big enough to give you relaxing feeling with its balcony viewing garden , pool and sea in the same time . , every night we attend the mini disco its amazing also with its programs . my baby doughter was very happy with it . finally it was amazing few days we spent in that great hotel and for sure we will go there again next vacation . Many thanks for all hotel staff serving us in our vacation period . . .

Don't buy into the sea view room.

Don't buy into the sea view room, because there's none of that. None of the hotel buildings face the ocean, and if you buy the sea view room, you'll be looking at the palm trees. Actually the further away you're from the sea, the better view you get, since the landscape goes lower as you get closer to the sea. As far as the accommodations concern, don't expect much, - just bare minimum. And stay away from local alcohol, it's pretty low quality. The mail attraction of the stay is the reason people flock to Egypt - the Red Sea. It's so beautiful that you will be memorized. Try to do either scuba diving or snorkel. Have fun!

Gutes Hotel für welche mit weniger Budget! Personal und Essen TOP! Super freundlich und zuvorkommend! Das Hotel ist jedoch an einigen Stellen etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Animation ist bemüht aber nach oben ist noch viel Luft! Kann aber auch an der Nebensaison liegen! Strand mit Strandbar, leider sind die Liegen auch sehr in die Jahre gekommen und man darf kein Essen oder Snacks von der Strandbar mit an den Strand nehmen! Der Strand ist hügelig und steinig (kein feiner Sand) Poolbars Top mit leckeren Cocktails

Kaunis iso hotelli. Upeat hyvin hoidetut pihat. Alas viettävä tontti josta mahtava merinäköala. Ilta ohjelma alkoi aina 20.45 hyviä esityksiä pääosin. Ruoka oli maistuvaa, jälkiruoat olivat aika lailla samoja koko 9 päivän ajan. A la cartea emme käyttäneet. Uima-altaan vesi kaikissa altaissa olisi voinut olla omaan makuun lämpöisempää. Tuli vain käytyä virkistäytymässä mutta 5 min jälkeen halusin tulla takaisin aurinkotuoliin. Meressä oli lämpöisemmän tuntuista uida lokakuussa. Tippejä ei pyydetty kertaakaan koko aikana mikä oli mukavaa. Rannalla uinti onnistuu vain laiturilta, koska ranta on koralliriutta, joka on kova ja vain kahluusyvyinen. Hotellin rannassa on hyvä sukelluskeskus jota käytimme 4 sukellukseen (hinta 35€ per sukellus joka sisälsi varusteet) Huoneet olivat isot, hyvä suihku hyvällä paineella ja lämmintä vettä riitti koko ajan hyvin, vaikka 3 asukasta otti pitkiä suihkuja. Hotellin tilat olivat hyvin siistit, mutta huoneet tarvitsisivat pientä huoltoa, Altaan pohjaventtiili oli rikki, yksi lamppu repsotti vähän. Mutta kaikenkaikkiaan olimme hyvin tyytyväisiä hotelliin. Taksin saa hotellin aulasta varattua, mutta se on paikallisia takseja moninkertaisesti kalliimpi. Toki suomalaisille silti kohtuuhintainen. Sovellustakseja ei myöhään illalla oikein saanut tilattua tänne koska hotelli sijaitsee niin sivussa kaikesta. Päivällä kyllä onnistuu. Hyvät kokemukset Careem apista. (Uberin tekemä appi eqyptiin, toimii englanniksi)

Otel çok güzeldi, Antalya standartlarında keyifli bir konaklama sağladı. Odalar geniş ve konforlu odaların pek çoğu Deniz manzaralı, hizmet ve personel güzeldi, yemeklerde çeşitli ve bizim damak lezzetimize yakın, havuz alternatifleri bol, denizi taşlık ve sahilden girişte sadece yürünebiliyor, yüzmek için iskeleye çıkıyorsunuz, orası da derin deniz, 4 5 yaşına kadar çocuklu aileler için sahil-deniz uygun, fiyat performans olarak çok rahatlıkla tavsiye edilir, memnun kaldık, bir daha geliriz. Resepsiyonda Muhammed çok misafir perverdi, ayrıca otelin yiyecek direktörü de bizden:) Selahattin Bey, ellerinize sağlık, güzel hatıralar ile ayrıldık.

Heerlijk verblijf gehad. Personeel is heel vriendelijk, oprecht en altijd even vriendelijk. Iedereen doet enorm zn best om je verblijf heel aangenaam en relaxed te maken. Grote complimenten.

Wir waren vom 07.04. 3 Wochen im Serenity Makadi Beach Hotel eingebucht. Das Hotel ist zwar etwas abgelegen aber das wollten wir auch so. Einfach abschalten und kein Rummel drum herum. Das Zimmer war groß und hatte alles was man braucht. Das Personal super nett, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Es gibt mehrere Pools mit Bar"s. Die Essenauswahl ist riesig und verhungern muss man nicht. Unsere nächste Reise wird wieder dort hin gehen.

La plage pourrait être mieux aménagée, baignade impossible , juste par le ponton pour la plongée où Il n’y a rien pour poser ses lunettes, chaussures, serviette. On doit remplir un formulaire pour descendre dans l’eau écrit en allemand, même pas en anglais. Transats et parasols très vieux. La seule piscine chauffée est trop petite et peu chauffée Pas de zone non fumeur aux terrasses

C’est la première fois que dépose un avis cette hôtel et incroyable idéal pour les familles. J’y était avec deux enfant de deux et quatre ans c’était merveilleux le personnel et incroyable la nourriture et variée chaque jour il y en a pour tout les goûts un parque aquatique et relié à l’hôtel juste à côté entre 20 euros pour 4 et mes enfant ne paye pas l’entrée nourriture compris. Tout les soirs dès soirée à thème les chambre son impeccable allez y les yeux fermé sincèrement même avec 40 degrés de température l’hôtel étant en bord de mer on ne récent pas une chaleur excessive grâce au vent de la mer. Nous avons fait deux excursions avec l’hôtel une en sous marin 110 euros mes enfant non pas payé et cette excursion et folle. Et une excursion sur une île « orange » à 50 euros pour 4 mes enfant non toujours pas payé. Et il y’a avec toi compris même de tour en banane en mer et bouée de la plongée de la restauration c’était magnifique merci pour tout
