Decent aparthotel. Quiet location. Reception staff really friendly and helpful. Nice breakfast. Bathroom is a bit old fashioned but clean and spacious. Couldn’t get the electric hob to work.

visiting family, apartment is nice and central for all transport,as we are senior citizens we are eligible for for the free yearly travel cards which is brilliant, so much better than we have in the U.K. , buses, metro coaches, all are much more frequent than back home and all have Air Conditioning.

En cuanto a limpieza, Excelente, el peor servicio al cliente de toda mi vida , el señor que me hizo el checkin la primera noche que mejor se vaya a su casa o trabaje online sin darle su cara al público, no tiene ninguna empatia con los clientes, es desagradable, autosuficiente y lo siguiente...... Very high standard and I will definitely return in the future

The hotel is not in a tourist location. It is too far from the City Center, but close to Metro train line. It is a clean hotel, but it an older hotel. The staff was nice.

Paid for an upgraded Queen room, poor offering.

Our room was not ready until and hour after check in time. We paid for an upgraded queen bed room, what we got was dated and nothing like the pictures, doesn’t seem to have been refurbished in thirty years. Not enough space to get in and out of both sides of the bed. Room smelt musty, air con only worked on the first day, but the high speed internet was free. Apartment isn’t supplied with pots or pans to use the kitchen, needed to pay a deposit at reception and get a box with two saucepans (no lids) a dirty fry pan, kitchen roll, sponge, detergent and three wooden utensils. Location is quiet and fairly close to the metro, so easy to get to and from the airport with one change. We were in the second part of the hotel, it was dated and uninviting.

The room was very comfortable, the staff very helpful and the breakfast was quite complete. I enjoyed my stay very much.

Spanish holidays

Great hotel, easy walk to metro and supermarket. Room was very noisey with pixies humming all night, don’t stay in room 115. To be fair management offered to change our room when they found out. Would stay here again

Great place

The place was very clean and the staff was very helpful. The location is good but I like to stay more in the center of the city.

The apartments were very large with a small kitchen. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean.

The AC was broken. The laundry was broken. There were no fans. The only window to open was eye level with traffic. It was very stuffy.

Home from home feel

Lovely hotel, situated close to metro links and the real Madrid stadium. Plenty of shops ,bars and restaurants around the hotel. Would recommend if sight seeing is your holiday choice

A great aparthotel good location-metro and supermarket both 2 min walk away good-sized room was clean and comfortable Staff were friendly and helpful Overall great value for money and a lovely 3 night stay in Madrid The only negative was that the kitchenette should be better stocked - chopping board and sharp knife should be provided.

My wife and I stayed at this Sercotel Togumar apartment hotel Madrid in mid-November for 2 nights and were pleased with this hotel. Clean, spacious room and nice breakfast included. Location is convenient, 10 min walk to metro station, 15 min by taxi to Atocha main train station hub in Madrid, and if you are a classical music concert goer, the hotel is only 10 min walk to the concert hall - Auditorio Nacional. This hotel is situated in a quiet safe residential neighbourhood with easy access to public transportation to Madrid's tourist attractions such as Plaza Mayor, Museo Prado etc. Will book this hotel again when we return to Madrid.

A Great in city Hotel!

Our time at the Hotel was restful, quiet, comfortable. In addition the location was ideally located for travel in the Metro system to the center of Madrid.

A little gem of a hotel

This was our second stay at this hotel, and we liked it even more than he first time. Extremely comfortable bed and spacious room. The kitchenette is perfect to make something small to eat before and after the huge Madrid lunches. Friendly staff. Very close to the Prosperidad metro, which connects easily to the airport and the train stations. Close to the bus terminal. Overall a great location for anyone who wants to avoid the tourist-packed center of town

Gem of a hotel tucked into Prosperidad

I would definitely recommend this hotel. Convenient by Metro to the main attractions in Madrid and to the airport. Friendly staff, spacious room, small fridge for anything you might need to keep cold, comfortable bed and clean, fluffy towels. Quiet atmosphere.

Nice hotel close to the Metro station

The hotel is situated in a side street and about 300 yards from the Metro station of Prosperidad. The hotel was very clean and the staff were efficient and friendly. Our room was excellent. It contained a large wardrobe with drawers and a safe. There was also a small kitchen with a fridge, cooker and microwave. The continental breakfast was adequate and the breakfast room was clinically white.

Friendly and helpful staff. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Relatively quiet location (given that this is Madrid).

The hotel was clean and my room had a kitchenette and was quite spacious. The hotel was located in a neighborhood and close to the metro.

Enjoyable stay, great service, great value

Had a really positive experience and won’t hesitate to book this hotel again. Service: The service from the staff was exceptional. Location: Ideally placed whether heading for the airport or into the city centre. Just a very short walk to the Prosperidad metro. Food: Good breakfast/ quirky features in the room too and the lady who looked after us in the breakfast room was lovely. Room: Perfectly adequate, clean and comfortable. Nice to have a bottle of water in the room but it would have been good to have this replenished each day.

Great location and staff. Lack of management.

An excellent location and very helpful staff!! Well, not all staff were as friendly but most of them were... The location is excellent as it has a metro just 5 minutes away and many very good restaurants nearby!!! The management can invest a bit in sorting out water temperature in the morning... and maybe spend some money in coffee/tea making equipment...? a kettle maybe... The room I was in had a fridge, microwave and an electric stove but no pans... and no one to clean the glasses. Can you then provide the cleaning products? Downstairs you have water bottles available for everyone. Great! Not so much when there are no clean glasses!!! When asking the staff for plastic glasses they happily provide them mentioning the management doesn't want to have only plastic... It is in my list to come back because of the location!!!!

Overall it was a convenient stay. Metro close by and staff willing to help. Customer service a little slow. Room ventilation poor. No fan or air condition. Annoying was the fact that trash pickup was very loud and performed between 1 and 3 am every day.

Good stay

Great staff - very fair offering for the price. Bit out of the way for tourists maybe, but good for where I needed to be.

We traveled from the north down the east coast of Spain stopping at Barcelona, Salou, Valencia , Benidorm and this hotel wasn't the most expensive nor cheapest but it was the most practical, easy and pleasant . Although it didn't have a restaurant or a bar it had room service with very reasonable priced food and drinks. Situated at the back of a Main Street that was full of little coffee shops and Spanish type bakery shops and a couple of hundred yards from the M3 . A perfect stop over as we traveled through Madrid.

Fine for somewhere to sleep

Found that the hotel needed some TLC in many places, on the surface the room was clean but definitely needed more attention, the staff are very friendly and helpful and a credit to the hotel, the wifi was poor and would not recommend for someone needing a good connection to work

Just ok, with inconvenient location

I stayed in this hotel to be close to some friends. However, for the price, it was just ok, nothing more. Front desk staff, with the exception of one staff, were unhelpful and inefficient. They tried to charge me twice and didn't bother saying they were sorry when they realized their error. Decor was tacky. Wifi was weak. Food was awful. And you have to take 3 different metro lines to go anywhere.

Good, clean basic hotel, close to metro.

On arrival we were upgraded to family rooms consisting of small kitchen, 2 bedrooms and a large terrace. Comfortable, clean, spacious rooms with good facilities. English speaking helpful staff. This isn't a city centre location but it's only a 2 minute walk to the metro. Lots of shops, bars and cafes all within a few hundred metres of the hotel. Nice, basic hotel.

Nice hotel very close to a metro stop. The hotel was a little off the beaten track in a run down area. Staff very helpful and polite. Alot of dust under the beds, otherwise clean and spacious.

Not good for tourists

This location was far out of the center of Madrid in a quiet residential area. Nice accommodation but unless you're trying to get close to something in that specific area don't bother. We got a much better hostal for much cheaper closer to the city center for about €15 less a day with friendlier staff.

Near Bolivian Consulate

Was near Metro Prosperidad and was easy to connect to other metros, near a super market and in a relatively quiet neighborhood. At night the street was dark but nothing happened. Highly recommended, but some other guests made much noise.

Clean and good wifi, but low level of services. No parking or drop off area, lots of stairs, poor room decoration, a lot of noise. Slow service.The hotel is ok if at a discount price, but any glamour or premium.

good value for money

This hotel was to be honest a suprise after reading some reviews about it i had my resevations. The staff were very helpful & polite the whole complex of the hotel was very clean, especialy the room, which had free wi fi, heating tv , plenty space , bathroom very clean included hairdryer etc.Breakfast though continetal was good, eat & drink as much as you like very reasonable price. Overall well worth the money will stay there again if i visit madrid again.

Nice hotel close to metro

Very close to metro and markets. Area was ok. Very friendly staff. Room had a kitchen, only problem was that you had to leave a 20€ deposit for kitchen pans and dish soap but it did not come with knifes or the necessary to cook a nice dinner (we celebrates christmas there). I requested extra plates plates and staff was very helpful.

Worth no more than one night

A nice big room that had obviously been updated recently (with the exception of the bathroom). The other reviewers were right - the walls are thin and you can hear everything. The worse part, however, was the lousy neighborhood the hotel was located in. Not dangerous or seedy, but certainly not in an area for tourists. It's an awkward walk with luggage, then a long metro ride into the city. We only stayed here one night as we were passing through, and it was fine. I definitely wouldn't recommend a long term stay, though.

Near avenidas de america metro/bus station

Service was good. Price was good for Madrid. 20 minutes from downtown with metro. Beds were ok. There was no pots and pans for the kitchen.

Way too much noise!

The walls in this place are paper thin. Moving a chair or suitcase is like rolling thunder. If you stay ask for no one on either side.

Generally we were disappointed by the hotel, the staff were friendly and helpful, but the upkeep of the hotel was disappointing to say the least. I would not recommend this hotel to others.

Good value for self catering

For the price, this is great value in Madrid, especially for a place with a kitchen. The pots, pans, etc are supplied were in good condition, the room was clean, the place was very easy to get to/from the airport and the staff were helpful with directions, things to do, etc. It's away from the touristy areas of Madrid so the area has a neighborhood feel, quite different to being downtown. Getting to the city center is easy. Would recommend if you want a kitchen, and don't mind taking two metros to get to the center of Madrid.

Good hotel with large rooms

The hotel filled completely our needs, It was clean and beds are comfortable. Shower simply perfect! The only thing is that it is a little bit far from the main turistic points.

Apartamentos Togumar

I stayed at Apartamentos Togumar in Madrid for several nights on a recent trip to Spain. Overall it was a good experience. The location isn't the best, as it's about 20 minutes from the city center, but there is a metro stop about a block away that is very easy to find, making transportation relatively cheap and easy. The hotel is basic but had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful, providing maps and suggestions whenever we asked. Would stay there again...good deal for the money.

Good value - good location for getting around

I was happy with my stay here. The walls were very thin and there was some traffic noise, but apart from that the room was really nice and this was perfect for what I needed. 20 min walk from the Bernabeu, which I found with a map from reception. 25 mins journey on the metro from the airport (only 2 euros each way!) and perfect for sightseeing as so near the metro station and everywhere is accessible for 1 euro a journey, the metro is brilliant.

Very good location, quiet and

Very good location, quiet and easy access to the city centre and the airport. Staff were friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and very comfortable. It is great to have a kitchenette, but there were no facilities to make use of it. It would be so good to be able to make a cup of tea

Affordable and Close to Metro

For the price of this hotel, it was fantastic. We were away from the city center, but only 2 blocks from the metro so it was not a big deal. Not much to do around the hotel, but that was not an issue. Great view from our balcony and the room itself was awesome. Very nice having a kitchen and lots of space.

More than adequate

Our room was well-equipped (we were delighted to see even a washing machine although in the end we didn't use it). The wireless Internet worked well. We were given a full-size bed for two as requested, which doesn't happen everywhere! It was great to have all the comforts we needed, including kitchenette, without paying for high-rent ambiance which we didn't need! We were about five minutes by foot from Prosperidad metro station, six minutes from grocery stores and restaurant. Only criticism: the drip-tray under the dish drainer badly needed to be cleaned.

Probably worth it for the price

Pros: Cheap Convenient to metro All night access Good internet Cons: Thin walls - could easily hear other guests, furniture moving around, and water / heating systems going on and off. Got kind of noisy at times. Shower head was messed up. Had to keep shower head off of dock because the dock was too loose and the shower would spray up when turned on.

Good family option in Madrid.

The apartment is well equipped with kitchenette, small table and chairs and good bathroom. Competent reception in English. Immediately organised a late departure for the next day as we had a midnight flight. Free internet access code provided. Arranged for parking. Comfortable walk to Metro and close to Olympic residential area and harbour.

Somewhere to sleep

This hotel is really an aparthotel with a mini kitchen in each room. The hotel staff is extremely helpful, very nice, and speak enough english to communicate efficiently. It is not in a good area or convenient for traveling to touristy sights. If you're looking for somewhere just to pass through it is fine.

Great Hotel

We e-mailed in advance to receive specific directions on how to get to the hotel and received a prompt response. We came out of the metro and were at the hotel within 5 minutes. The staff was extremely friendly. Let us check in very early and our room was all ready to go waiting for us with a personalized welcome letter. Great wireless connection, awesome shower. The room was very clean. We went to the supermarket near the hotel, about a 3minute walk and bought a few snacks. We had an easy time getting around from the metro stop. The room was beyond our expectations and we'd definitely stay again.

Nice place

We went to this hotel as we were so surprised at the low price for an apartment but we weren't disappointed. The kitchen was plenty big enough for 2 people and the bathroom was lovely. The room itself was comfortable and well-kept. The only problem was some issues with noise from the corridors. Also it can be a bit tricky to find but overall it was a great stay.

Pretty good hotel for the money!

I enjoyed this hotel and would probably stay again. All rooms have kitchen and there is a nearby supermarket so we were able to eat breakfast in the room and keep water, juice, beers, and some fruit. The rooms weren't very modern, but they were clean and pretty comfortable. The TV was not good - hardly any channels and only CNN was in English - but the hotel did have free WIFI which is hard to find in Europe. Location is 7.5 out of 10 - a little bit outside but near a metro station so if u don't mind public transport, it's not a problem. And the metro near the hotel has a direct line to the Parc del Buen Retiro which was truly stunning - made Central Park look like a landfill. Good hotel. Great city.

Todo el personal que nos atendió fue muy educado y cercano en todo momento, desde la recepción hasta el personal del desayuno. La habitación estaba limpia, teníamos AA y radiadores que se encendían por la noche, así como colchones muy cómodos. No se oían ruidos ni de la calle ni de otras habitaciones. El desayuno buffet era muy completo y bueno para el espacio disponible. Lo recomendaría sin dudar.

Wir haben 3 Nächte in diesem Hotel verbracht. Das Personal des Hotels war sehr freundlich und Aufmerksam. Der Service war super und das Frühstückbuffet ausgezeichnet. Das Hotel ist in einer guter Lage, nicht weit von der Metrostation und man ist in nur 15 minuten im Zentrum von Madrid. Das Quartier ist sympatisch. Einziger Nachteil : Das Hotel ist ringhörig.

Staff treated me kindness. It was clean and comfortable even though facilities have been aging. I t was also convenient since closing the station. A hair dryer wasn’t working, so four stars.

Séjour à Madrid

Très bon séjour dans cet établissement. Personnel sympathique et professionnel. Chambre spacieuse, calme propre et claire. Petit déjeuner continental copieux, bien achalandé avec de multiples plaisirs tant salés que sucrés. Proche d'une station de métro pour se rendre facilement au centre de Madrid mais aussi facilité pour reprendre la route ers une éventuelle destination de vacances, ce qui était notre cas. Merci aussi particulièrement à la dame du petit déjeuner très avenante envers ses clients dont elle prend soins. Parking payant (21euros/nuit) Certes un peu cher à notre avis mais votre voiture est en sécurité.

Apartahotel muy correcto y amplio, limpio, camas muy comodas, buena televisión, bien comunicado, cerca hay Metro, buen aire acondicionado. Por comentar algo negativo, en la cocina no había cafetera, tampoco plancha ni tabla , en el baño solo una toalla de baño y solo una de lavavabo boca de metro
