Basque seaside town

It was a basque festival, so busy and noisy. But a great location, super food and friendly locals.

Very friendly staff, extremely helpful. The hotel is well located. The bed was very hard.

The hotel staff were kind and helpful to book a parking lot for us and it was nice and safe. Walking distance to the water front and the centre. All others are good!

Very nice hotel in a quaint village

Great location

The hotel was in a great location, close to pedestrian walkway, full of local restaurants and shops. The restaurant below served dinner and breakfast, both of which we tried. They were great, My only negative would be that the rooms could have been a little cleaner, for example, the walls needed washing down as they appeared to be coffee, splashes, etc., on them. The upside and a wonderful surprise was the fact that the unit had a washing machine which we were thankful for. I would recommend this hotel and glad that we had the opportunity to stay there.

Lovely hotel! Very clean and the room was nice and big. Would definitely recommend. Only downside was there was no free parking and the parking around the hotel was limited.

I loved the location and the hotel staff was very helpful. Room was exactly as I hoped. Views onto the cute avenue.

I only spent one night prior to my returning flight from Madrid to Los Angeles. The hotel is conveniently located in a nice commercial area. Everything inside looked modern and in perfect shape. One can find restaurants and shopping at walking distance. Staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

The location is fantastic. Four minutes to the harbour. Two minutes to the walking street behind the hotel (onto which our hotel room looked) with so many people gathering and chatting and eating and drinking - so convivial! Great food, great drink, lots of history nearby, a short (5 minutes) ferry ride to the French side 4 minutes away, terrific coffee and pastries right across the street. And our room was comfortable and just roomy enough. Totally recommend!

The hotel is well located, clean, and comfortable. Nothing fancy or special but perfectly serviceable.

Location was central and easy to find. If you are looking for a standard hotel with predictable amenities and reliable service this is a good place for you.

Good location, service could be better.

The hotel was OK, nothing exceptional. Parking is expensive and the staff weren't that helpful in advising the options. After a long drive it is good to have something made simple. This was not. Location is great, with all the local bars etc directly behind the hotel and the seafront three minutes walk away.

A comfortable stay

We stayed one night here during winter. I imagine it would much louder during summer months. The room was comfortable and clean. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

We loved the hotel. Great location near all the bars and restaurants. The bed was so comfy. There is a fridge in the room. The breakfast was on a tray with croissants, roll, cheese, ham, yoghurt, orange coffee or tea. Very good value. Hondarribia is a lovely little town.

Hotel in a perfect central position for restaurants And very close to the beach. Off road parking close by. The staff were very friendly and helpful . Couldn’t really ask for anything better.

Excellent......great stay and great location.

The room was clean, comfortable and staff super helpful. Can’t beat the location. We really enjoyed the breakfast too. Everything was fresh and very tasty. Only stayed one night, easily could have stayed another.

A pleasant stay in Hondarribia

We had a nice stay here, room was comfortable and a good size. The large double shower was nice. The hotel is between the main promenade and a busy road so there is noise but it wasn’t a problem. Parking is very tricky to negotiate.

Located in the very heart of Hondarribia...a stone's throw from a beautiful bay...steps away from picturesque tavernas serving delicate, delicious, decadent pinxtos...this hotel is a perfect respite to enjoy the beauty of being in Basque Country.

Superb location in the centre. Great rooms, beds and bathrooms. Its a bit noisy being on the main road but OK if you're prepared to use the aircon instead of opening the windows

They have all amenities you need. Walk to ocean port, restaurants bakeries, shops. 20 min bus ride to San Sebastián. voila!

Convenient and comfortable

I selected Hotel Jaurequi for its location and I was not disappointed. It was located steps away from many restaurants and the waterfront, beach and the historical old section were close enough to explore. The room was clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was friendly, helpful and available. I found my experience to be an excellent value and would recommend Hotel Jaurequi to friends.

Very happy with this hotel. Our first time in Hondarribia and it was at the town center, close to main street San Pedro and a few blocks from Marina walkway. The staff was helpful with bus information and ferry to Hendaye, France which only took 10-12 min.

Great Hotel in a Beautiful Location

This very newly renovated and clean hotel was wonderful. We arrived late (almost midnight) to a smiling host. The room was large and very clean with great beds. The location is great too. Right in the center of old town with plenty of restaurants and bars. The other nice thing..... 20 minute walk to the airport.

We stayed here 4 nights and enjoyed very much. Hotel very new and modern and room and bathroom a good size, bright and comfortable. Easy walk to everywhere with plenty of bars and restaurants all around. The hotel rooms are soundproof and king size bed very comfortable.

perfect location with incredible staff

I don't usually stay in hotels but the staff made this stay well worth it! We had never been to Hondarribia and were staying in this quaint fishermans village for a week. The staff helped us exstensively and were happy to print out timetables to get us quickly and efficently to San Sebastian, make recommendations for vineyards in the area, call taxis, help us find the easiest route via public transport travel to towns two hours away! incredible!

Buena estancia

Servicio y atención perfectos, las habitaciones son muy cómodas, no tienen parquing propio pero te ofrecen uno muy cerca con mando para libre disposición. La ubicación es muy buena.

Front staff was very kind. The view from the window of my room was good.It was the main street view with beautiful traditional houses. Also, the famous restaurants were very near. I would like to visit there and stay at this hotel once again！

Ubicación inmejorable

El hotel está ubicado en una de las calles principales, con restaurantes y bares alrededor. Dos calles detrás del mar y a 5' caminando del casco antiguo. Las camas son comodísimas y la habitación es amplia. Recomiendo comer o cenar en el restaurante del mismo hotel, que se accede a pie de calle.

Confortable y muy céntrico, todo accesible a pie. Y sin ruido a pesar de estar en pleno centro.

Buena opción para visitar Hondaribia. En el centro de la ciudad, habitación standard correcta, muy buen desayuno tipo “buffet” pero sino, al lado mismo del hotel hay muchos bares para desayunar. Sin problemas. Aparcamiento si no hay suerte en la calle, en parquing privado cerca del hotel. Hotel muy recomendable

Un Hôtel particulièrement bien situé

logement bien situé avec la possibilité de louer des vélos gratuitement. Le parking gratuit est un peu loin à pied ( il faut compter une quinzaine de minutes et non 5 min comme indiqué par la personne de l'accueil ). Très bien situé car toutes les commodités sont proches ( restaurants, plages, centre historique, etc... ). La nourriture du restaurant est bonne mais non comprise dans le prix ( compter un supplément de 30€/personne )

Está muy bien situado y aunque hemos estado en un puente no hemos tenido ruido de la calle. Lo recomendaremos sin dudar a nuestros conocidos
