The receptionist was kind and attentive. The people at the restaurant were great to talk to and the transportation to the airport was quick, and safe.

We stayed here in July 2023, it was so good then that we returned for 2 weeks Jan 2025. However, it now seems to have new management/owners. The restaurant is now a sushi restaurant after breakfast hours, instead of a bar/restaurant for residents (and non-residents) in the evenings. Breakfast used to be amazing, a very good choice of menu every day, with excellent food. Now it is a buffet, where very little attempt is made by the restaurant staff to maintain the food available, the cutlery, the crockery, and the cleanliness of the tables. Every morning I had to ask for at least 3 items: a spoon/milk/ fork/bowl/glass/fruit/etc. Staff were more concerned with their phones than checking the buffet requirements. I saw just one table being wiped down during my stay. Otherwise, the room was fine, bed comfortable, cleaned whenever requested, water hot. The Reception staff were polite, helpful and I have no complaints there.

Our room was just as expected from the photos online so I was very happy. Very comfortable and liked the side tables and outlets, was very convenient. Bathroom was clean and water was hot! Staff was very helpful always.

Excellent place to stay for budget minded travelers. Very convenient for Miraflores area. The staff was very friendly and helpful.If money is no object you may be happier at one of the newer hotels at 3 or 4 times the price. This is more a hostel than a hotel.

Fantastic location, comfy beds, enjoyed the free breakfast. Bathroom needs some work - the shower was awful. Lockers are very small and stiff to open.

Opportunity for improvement

The rooms where not bad. The bathroom has opportunities for improvement. The staff for the most part were attentive and friendly. However, they put me next to a room with ongoing construction. Every morning was loud to say the least. On the 3rd day, I requested a comped breakfast due to the noise. Front desk attendant (women) acknowledged the ongoing construction but stated that because the other tenants didn't complain, that she would NOT offer me a comped breakfast. From there I packed my bags and went to Good Source. It was 4 times a much but damn it was MORE than 4 times as nice. I probably will not go again. To be fair, I wasn't going to ask for a comped breakfast but after that 3rd night in s row of being woken up repeatedly, I thought it was only fair.

Great location, staff and breakfast for the money

Check-in was fine even though we were later than intended. The room initially allocated had a mouldy smell to it but we were given another room immediately. The accommodation is in need of general upkeep but the location is central and the staff responsive and friendly.

Mostly the staff. Upon the time I pick up my two large suitcases, carry on and a Backpack from their storage I did ask if I could have help but the young man completely ignore me. Windows could use more soundproof. Staff was constantly on their phones barely having control on who entered the building. That was concerning. I will not book again with this place.

The person helping for breakfast was very unfriendly and they really should provide another option for the welcome drink besides alcohol. I asked if I could have a welcome drink juice instead for breakfast and was told it’s only an alcoholic beverage we get at night. Which is really weird because Selina is supposed to be supportive of healthy living and lifestyle but then I was told I could only have an alcoholic beverage and I’m in the middle of recovering from cancer so I wasnt trying to risk my health and was giving no other options. So it was a bit disappointing.

My flight got rescheduled for a day later, but they did not communicate to the shuttle service, so they called and were upset with me when I didn't show up at the airport... The shuttle is also way over priced. Is about 4 times cheaper to get a cab from the airport. Place is clean and easy to check in. They offer breakfast for reasonable price. Water is nice and hot. Bed is clean and comfortable. Sage and clean part of town. Good place to stay.

Great place to stay

I booked my own room which is half a block away from the other portion of the hostel where the dorms are. The room was well worth the money as I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the beds were. Yes, you share a bathroom with 5 or 6 other rooms on a floor, but if you are busy during the day, you will only be using the bathrooms in the morning and at night. I will surely stay here again as the price and the beds made it a steal. Great location in Miraflores as well. Two blocks from Parque Kennedy.

Great Room and Bathroom Share!

Stay was great, it’s like dorm room bathrooms so just be aware: Bathtub, clean toilet, hot hot hot water! Its really clean and the rooms are cozy. I shared with my sister and it was all good!

Es un lugar muy céntrico. Nos gusto que hubiese servicio técnico para arreglar el televisor. Bastante cómodo y accesible. Lo que no nos gusto, era el televisor , era muy lento y se paraba colgando el sistema. Estuvimos al frente del ascensor, lo cuál se escuchaba mucha bulla. Rating 3.5/5

The receptionists where very helpful with advice on finding places, printing documents for me, great customer service, etc. And I could stay with my bebe cat Sarita. Rooms without TV ?

Good but Expected Different

I was there for 28 days, the staff was nice, my room wasn’t what I expected however I slept well each night. The bathroom was the worst part because it had a mildew smell and the jetted tub wasn’t leveled so it didn’t feel safe. The Best Part of my stay was the people who I met along the way and the shops close by. It was a wonderful location!

Disfrute mucho mi estancia en Selina Miraflores, la ubicación es excelente y el staff súper amable. La habitación era muy cómoda, solo creo que deben colocar jabón líquido para manos en el baño.

Location is great. Staff was helpful. I liked the decor of the rooms that I stayed in, the sheets were clean but the rooms could probably use a deep cleaning from their constant use. Walls were a bit dingy.

The stay was very comfortable, I only had one little issue, I knew I had to check in at 3:00 PM, but I came a little bit earlier to see if I can leave my bags somewhere here or even wait here until 3:00 PM, but they literally told me to go on my own somewhere else until 3 pm, I couldn’t even stay in the lobby. If you respect the time of your stay, the place is perfect, but If you think they’ll help you in other way then nope.

The accessibility to the city centre, rest of the Miraflores, Kennedy park and major commute points is the biggest advantage.

A localização da pousada é ótima. A limpeza deixa um pouco desejar. O café da manhã é bom, porém a reposição dos itens é bem demorada.

ミラフローレスのとても便利な場所にあります。シャワーとトイレが共同だったのですが、シャワーのお湯で足元が濡れてトイレがしにくいのが欠点ですが、その他は問題ありません。

Frustrante

Meu namorado e eu reservamos o quarto No Selina pelo hoteis.com. Chegando lá, descobrimos que o hotel mudou de nome. Reservamos um quarto com banheiro privativo. Para a nossa surpresa, o banheiro era coletivo. Nós vimos o hotel juntos. Impossível termos confundido. Isso foi de má fé. Outro ponto importante: tinha dia que não havia água quente. A água era bem gelada. Outros dias a água era só quente, nada de [agua fria. Ela saia pelando. Impossível de tomar banho. Essa questão da água foi bem séria. No dia 31/12, pleno reveillon, não havia água alguma. Foi bem decepcionante.

nous avons eu un accueil pas trés chaleureux. Du aux horaires du vol otre arrivée a eu lieu à 4 heures du matin en le monsieur à la réception n'était pas très content de notre arrivée.

Adoramos a nossa estadia! Todos os funcionários super atenciosos e educados, o quarto era muito bom, ar condiciona e chuveiro a gás! Tudo ótimo, porém o café da manhã poderia melhorar, poucas variedades e demora na reposição.

O quarto é muito pequeno e só tem 2 tomadas. A acústica do quarto é ruim, você ouve as pessoas do banheiro e quarto ao lado falando, barulhos da rua. Tem apenas 1 banheiro por andar para compartilhar.

Cheap hotel, you get what you pay for. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Its pretty noisy due to traffic, but during the night its quite enough to get some sleep. Comfortable beds, simple shared bathroom, but shower didn't work properly. Booked an extra night, so overall I was satisfied.

A mi llegada hubo un inconveniente: una persona que llegaba más tarde no pudo acceder a la habitación porque le dijeron que ese no era el Selina que habíamos reservado. Pero no tengo quejas: la Srta que nos atendió en la mañana nos ayudó a resolver. Nos consiguieron los tours y nos guiaron en Nuestra visita
