Arrived early. staff kindly stored carry on. Our suite was dusty upon arrival and there was no phone in the room to talk to the staff. I had to walk to another building to report Safety handle in bathtub was detached from the wall and fixed on our 2nd day of stay. A place for young couples who self serve themselves

Excellent location with amazing service

Good, convenient location with great breakfast. Felt very safe. Hallways tend to be noisy because of shared bathrooms. You hear the shower always going on and people talking in the halls.

I felt right at home at this property. The staff was friendly and helpful plus it’s about a ten minutes walk away from Larcomar Mall. If you don’t want to use Uber or have other means of transportation the hotel has drivers outside who will take you where you need to go.

Great location. Felt very safe exploring at all hours and was very central to everything. I have been to many Selina's before, and this one definitely felt more like a hotel than a hostel. The social aspect/environment that I usually love about Selina's was not present here. That said, for someone looking for more privacy than a typical hostel environment, this was a good spot. The staff seemed a little cold with their interactions and not interested in being friendly. That said, if you needed to address something specifically (room booking extensions) they were great. I did have an issue with my room and the one guy at the desk, cant remember his name but he had long hair, was incredibly helpful and quick to sort things out. I wish I knew his name so I could give a shoutout here.

Very nice stay at the hostel. The cleaning people kept each room clean. Pillows are nice a fluffy and the sheets are extra heavy, providing a nice sleep.

Loved that it was beautifully decorated, spacious, wifi is secure, charging sockets are available on each side of the bed, AC/heating is available, there are lots of dining options around the apartment, the bathroom had non-single use shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel. The apartment was also located in another building a short walk away, which turned out great since we were away from the hostel section and therefore it was more quiet. Furthermore, the security guards check on every individual entering the building to ensure no unauthorised persons accessed the property. They also helped with our luggage. Strangely, for a two bedroom apartment, there was only one AC/heater remote and one remote to be shared with both bedrooms. Also, the hangers in the closet are a little rusted, and the throw on the sofa looks worn and could use another wash. Despite that, it was a great place to relax after walking around the city and we wouldn’t mind staying here again.

The apartment we stayed in was very clean. The neighborhood is wonderful for walking, dining and shopping.

Pros: This location was unbeatable, it was close to everything I wanted to do and everything I needed in Miraflores. The welcome drink, restaurants, bar & coffee shop are sweet. So is the WhatsApp group if you want to meet up with people. All the amenities were nice to haves: yoga shop, Freshii, souvenir shop, spa, laundry services, breakfast addition. Cons: Front desk staff was not the nicest or the most informative, buildings were a little older and more worn than pictures show (especially the stove), and noise could be a problem for some. *They have a venue they rent out to private parties with no sense of noise control. Buildings have small staircases at the entrances that can be difficult for bringing luggage or those with accessibility concerns. Laundry facilities do not mean you get to do your own laundry. :(

Excellent staff but could use a deep clean

Check in was easy enough but took about 30 minutes, sheets were clean, but the rest of the room absolutlely needed a deep clean. We found rotting lime wedges on the carpet (thought they were bugs at first). There were no windows, the shutters acted as quasi-walls. Ultimately, we were just too tired to be bothered and the bed was nice. What I will say is the staff was all very nice, especially the security guard who watched out for our taxi so we could get ourselves some much needed coffee the next day. We stayed previously in an apartment, which was much more clean so it must vary unit to unit.

Rooms were clean and spacious. After a grueling bus trip the right thing for sore bones. Staff was friendly and competent and spoke English. All in all more suited for young travelers based on the vibe. Skip the disappointing breakfast and find a nice cafe.

Great location to explore the area a bit. They had a tour desk and some free walking tours. The one I didn’t wasn’t particularly great, but I did learn a few things. The bathroom was always clean!

Had a private room on the 6th floor. Clean, super comfortable bed ( I was very impressed). Perfect location walking distance from everything, good vibes. Staff in the restaurant could be a little more attentive but overall great experience.

The overall hostel is nice, has daily activities, and is a great location. I had a private room with shared bathroom. The room itself was simple but spacious. The shared bathroom was my issue. The floor was constantly wet ans had hair all over the floor. The tub was not clean and looked to not have been cleaned for quite some time. I had the same issue at Selinas Posada so yucky bathrooms seem to be a theme.

Selina es un gran hostal, esta muy bien ubicado y en una zona muy segura de Miraflores. El staff en todo momento fue muy cordial y siempre resolvieron todas mis dudas al respecto. Las zonas en común siempre estaban muy limpias. Los dormitorios estuvieron bien .. sin embargo el tema de los casilleros en donde guardamos las cosas son super ruidosos y puede llegar a ser molesto en el momento en el que se esta durmiendo. Por otro lado, en mi habitación hubo un caso de COVID y aunque otras compañeras que se quedaban en la habitación y yo nos quejamos el staff no hizo nada, ni reubico a la persona.

I paid for a room with AC and it never worked. I was given fans at 1 AM and it was still warm in the room. I checked out 1 day earlier because I couldn’t take it. Lima is hot this time of the year. I love Selina’s properties but this location in particular failed to check their rooms AC before checking in their hosts. No room had AC.

I stayed in this hotel before. It is very well located, many services and coffee places around, but if you book with breakfast included there are not regrets, the breakfast is great. Staff is cordial and helpful, and the cleaning crew is very respectful and they are always asking if you need something additional in your room. The standard room is great for me nevertheless, there are other options for every pocket. If I comeback soon to Lima, I will definitely book again with Selina.

My first stay was good however my second stay was terrible due to the following: 1. I was locked out of my room for about an hour due to my key not working as the card scanner's battery died. 2. The a/c in my room was broken and took me multiple times reaching out to customer service to be notified i'd have to switch rooms after 2 hours (at 11pm). 3. Once I switched rooms, the a/c in the room froze. Had to wait 45 minutes for maintenance to come and fix it. When asked how did it happen, he said he wasn't sure even though I followed the instructions. 4. Then got left with no air conditioner and had to request at least a fan. 5. Got a knock on the door at 11am to make sure to check out even though I mentioned I barely slept due to the issues above. The woman basically said I still needed to check out on time unless I wanted to pay for more time. 6. When checking out, not once did they ask about my stay. Overall the staff was nice however the hotel should be updated and the staff should be more considerate especially when the issues are not the customer's fault.

I stayed at this property twice. While the first time was good. The second time has been terrible. We checked in smoothly and went to go eat right away after dropping our things off. Once we returned that’s where things went down hill. It took us over an hour to get into our room after having the security guy come twice to try let us in with different keys and then finally having the maintenance guy come and fix the door and all because the battery where the card gets swiped were dead. Then, it was hot and I noticed the remote for the a/c was missing. The maintenance guy said he’d bring one over. I had to reach out to the receptionist a number of times and after 2 hours the maintenance guy came by saying that the a/c is broken and they don’t have a remote for it and provided us a room we can change to. Mind you this other room was 4 floors up and it was like 11pm. We were exhausted and didn’t want to pack everything that up so tried to stick it out. I finally decided to move at 4am and at like 6am the a/c started rattling. I ended up giving up and reached out once again to have someone come and check it out. The maintenance guy showed up like 25 minutes later to let me know that the a/c had frozen. When I asked how that would that happened as I simply followed the suggested temperature, he said he wasn’t sure. Finally after like an hour of him coming in and out I had to ask for atleast a fan because the solution was to simply stick it out in the room with once again no a/c. I

Property is quit old building. We should had our breakfast but they said no free breakfast.

Decor was so unique. Very friendly staff, arranged early cab for us, free welcome drink tickets, spacious room. Overall, just loved it!

I booked a double room, i was given a room with no windows 8x8 size and a shared bathroom with other guests, i had to pay extra for an upgrade for a room with a fan no windows still and a bathroom inside. I would like a full refind please

The location is very central and Selina has a cool concept (coliving with communal kitchen, cafe and bar in the property). The apartment (individual rooms/baths) are in another building 5 min walk away on the same street. The building is rundown, the room is spacious but dirty. The amenities work but old and dirty. The bedside table, the closet and the bathroom have stains every where, and the shower is quite dirty I didn't use it. It's very old and dirty, I don't think Selina renovated the rooms at all. It's really disappointing. The window doesn't close properly. People talking laughing loudly after midnight. It's just an unpleasant stay.

This was a really cool property that caters to multiple traveling styles with many amenities right on site. The design of the spaces in the hotel were really cool. Great place to stay.

Fantastic area very boho. I booked a preminum room which was very funky and i love the decor. What was disapointing was the shower ( a warm dribble) and a sound which i guess (?) was the aircon upstairs - this did not stop and sounded like being in the hull of a ship.

We had a pleasant stay. Friendly staff. Standard room was a bit too basic. Room was clean. Was a bit noisy too. The doors were being slammed all night long. Otherwise very pleasant, great location and very funky hotel. Would stay again.

Great location, ambience, clean rooms, a cool bar and café downstairs and a really convenient location. A mini fridge would be the only thing I would ask but not a big deal. Will stay here again.

The room was okay. The shower was not very useful as the water would spill out all over the floor due to the half glass door it had. The staff some of them were friendly, yet some of the ladies were very unfriendly and lack customer service skills. I would recommend some training in this area

This place was so great! We had a last minute change in our schedule and stumbled across Selina by accident/last minute. It ended up being our favorite place we stayed out of our whole trip! Though it’s a little more than the average hostel... it’s not an average hostel! Very cool vibe and activities. My partner and I are looking into our next adventures around where Selina has locations! My only “criticism” is the price of the food and drinks. A bit more than other hostels we went to that had happy hour 2 x 18 soles. But we loved the complimentary welcome drink!!
