Loved it!
Great location. Clean. Friendly staff. Nice room. Loved it!
Mold all over the wall below the windows.
The select hotel did not disappoint and made our visit even more special. The rooms were clean and just the right size for our small family of three and the view of the Sorbonne Univ was fantastic. The staff was always there to help us with whatever we needed and greeting us upon departure and arrival. Can’t wait for our next visit. Merci!!
Boutique Hotel
Wonderful location in the middle of everything, yet on a quiet street. Small rooms, but they were well equipped and appointed. Stand-out friendly, helpful staff.
Excellent property!
Great property in a great location
The “fabulous” rating is well-deserved. The property is in a prime location, in a historical building, the room I stayed in was beautiful (I was upgraded), with preserved beams and stones from the original building, the linens were of good quality, the bathroom seemed newly done and well-built, the lighting, layout and decor of the room were well-designed. The room overlooked the Sorbonne, and the windows could be opened. The Wednesday afternoon concierge who checked me in greeted me warmly and was on point and amazing in all respects, and the staff I came across were all very nice. The Thursday concierge who checked me out was the only negative experience. I highly recommend.
Excellent staff, great location and chic!
C’était magnifique
Friendly but the room is tiny
First of all, I must say that after paying nearly USD $800 for a three-night stay, I was quite disappointed when I opened the door to the room. The room was very clean, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job tidying up every day. However, the space was so small that there was barely any room to open a suitcase. If one person needed to use the bathroom, the other would have to squeeze to the side or leave the room entirely. That said, I have to commend the staff for being incredibly friendly, which is definitely a highlight of this hotel.
Short stay but staff was very courteous and helpful.
Great service and an amazing stay in Paris!
The room is small but charming. The shower room is open to the bedroom so be sure you stay with someone who is comfortable with it.
Good location and handy for everything Rive Gauche. Hotel is a bit tired but ok on the whole.
Best European hotel we’ve ever stayed
My husband and I were in Paris for 4 days for a winter vacation. First, Laurent and Maria Teresa at the front desk were amazingly friendly and helpful. The entire staff were. The rooms were perfectly clean and the way they are set up is very clever. Felt more like a high end condo than a hotel room. We loved it. The location of the hotel is far enough from a main street to be quiet but close enough to easily access anything we needed, including a supermarket called monoprix that has a whole basement grocery area. There are numerous train stations within a 10 minute walk, including one for the RER train that goes directly to Versailles. And the river is only a 10 minute walk away. The decor of the hotel is fresh and cool. Has all of the extras that go into a high end hotel. Paris is a great city to explore and coming “home” to this hotel was a real pleasure. Some rooms face the square, which would be lovely, but ours faced an equally beautiful building, on a side street that was nice and wide so that we got plenty of blue sky and sun light. It was great to be able to open the windows. Breakfast was just right for us and we ate there every morning (eggs bacon fruit pastries, etc). But there are restaurants all over the area. The hotel is in the Latin Quarter, but so close to St. Germain that you get the best of both worlds. Everything about this hotel was top notch but without being snooty, if you know what I mean. We will definitely return!
Great hotel and location
Great location and hotel. Very friendly staff
Comfortable rooms with character
The hotel has made great efforts for the rooms to be functional and comfortable in a limited space. So long as you are not big people the hotel is great but may be challenging for the larger guest. The public areas are beautiful with an art installation and high quality fittings and comfortable furniture. Only downside was some damp wood in the bathroom which made the room smell a little mouldy. Staff were really friendly and helpful and the rooms spotless
Enchanting stay in the center of Paris
Room was so charming with a beautiful view. Check in was easy, staff was accommodating, room was spotless and I would definitely stay again.
Was coming off a stay at a terrible hotel elsewhere in Paris and moved on impulse to this one for my last couple of days. I was met by the loveliest man at reception who helped me plan my last couple of days and who gave me just the warmest welcome. The bathroom was gorgeous, the bed comfortable and I love a robe in a room! Would happily stay again.
Well-serviced by buses and Metro. Hotel is great.
Staff were extremely helpful. Location is terrific. Beautiful space. Right on the Place de la Sorbonne, a pedestrian space. Hotel rooms are typically small as expected, with toilet separate from shower/bath and sink. Modern decor. Adequate lighting. Windows opened onto the square below which I always like. Tub is very slippery and a mat would have made showering less scary.
Our room was on the ground floor surrounded by the maintenance rooms and no other guest rooms. Very loud. A room should not have been put in the maintenance area. We paid over $215 a night to basically stay in janitors closet.
Great stay
Room was spacious enough for a family of 3 (with toddler). The area around the hotel is quite safe at night, and the hotel is located close to a lot of things you may want to do during your stay. Especially if you want to shop.
The staff was friendly, and the atmosphere around was good.
Great location. Have stayed here twice.
We have stayed at the hotel many times. The rooms are small, but beautifully designed and very comfortable. It is a great location, walkable to lots, Bus 63 to more.
The staff is excellent! I would give this hotel SIX stars! One of the lovely young men at the front desk even made our train reservations for us. Very clean, quiet and quirky in terms of decor. Just across the street from the Sorbonne, half blocks from Boulevard San Michel, but quiet, and two blocks from Rue St. Jacques. Luxembourg Gardens up the street. Perfect spot to explore the Latin Quarter!
Close to Jardin Luxembourg, Shakespeare & Co, Ile de la Cite, shopping, dining, metro etc. Tiny room, shower/sink room has no door, careful not to spray shower all over the bedroom. Room lights are either all on or all off. Nice buffet breakfast. Super helpful and friendly staff.
Clean, comfortable, pleasant staff.
It was a beautiful property. The glass sculpture was lovely. But, the small double was a bit too small for any comfort. Smallest bathroom I've ever stayed in. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. It caused some issues with my back. Like sleeping on a cheap futon.
Kitsch lobby near Sorbonne
Nice hotel at the Place de la Sorbonne. Great location. Kitsch artsy lobby, fun.
Good location, clean and front desk service is excellent
Overall a nice stay
The hotel is in a great location convenient for dining and shopping. The decor is semi modern and the beds were comfortable. The concierge team was wonderful, particularly Maria Teresa and David. The bathrooms in the rooms were the only disappointing feature as they filled with condensation when you showered and there was someone else’s hair on the shower floor as well as possible mold in some of the tile cracks.
Hotel is in great location adjacent to the Sorbonne and close to Luxembourg Gardens. The rooms are small but very workable and extremely comfortable. But it is the front desk staff that makes the whole experience extra special.
Location was good. Staff was helpful. Great attitude.
Great place. Staff is amazing.
Perfect place to recover and enjoy Paris.
Great place to start
Great location
An excellent spot for anyone looking to visit Paris and smart enough to want to stay in the Latin Quarter. Easy access to the metro stations along with a quiet, yet access social scene of cafes, shops, etc. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful!
Loved the hotel with its quircky decor and the entrence with the fountains
Conveniently located, comfortable, good breakfast, professional staff.
My daughter and I enjoyed our few days in Paris. The hotel was perfectly located and very safe. David was very helpful with suggestions during our weekend. Would definitely stay again
Wonderful service, accommodation and location. Thank you!
Nice Hotel But Rooms Were Very Tight
I'm OK with small rooms in Europe, but this one was particularly tight. The right side of the bed to the windows was about 18 inches, and the toilet was essentially in a closet separate from the main bathroom. Also, the room had a quirky lighting system where either all the lights were on, or off (you couldn't choose which ones to turn on or off). The a/c was strong (yay!) but it blew right on you if you were sitting at the desk working. Nonetheless, the location was excellent, the breakfast was good, the staff was nice, and the room was very quiet.
Great property. Centrally located.
Great little room. Love the view and the staff was very friendly and professional.
Quick stay. Excellent
Great location. Friendly staff. Cute hotel with comfortable beds. We arrived on an early international flight and had two exhausted little kids. They let us check in very early which made our day a million times better.
The rooms are nice the staff is great it's in a quiet neighborhood. Close to the Sorbonne University
Lucy and Laurent at the reception were very helpful and very welcoming . They took care of us and left us with a memorable experience. We highly recommend this hotel .
Very helpful staff, great A/C in rooms and the location on Place Sorbonne is excellent. Would stay there again.
This hotel is a delight. The location in the arguably best quarter of Paris (Latin) and right next to Sorbonne was amazing. It is located on a walking distance to most iconic places of Paris and France. This neighborhood is very safe; we would walk after Midnight without any hint of danger. The rooms are small (not a surprise for Europe), but extremely cozy and quality-made. The design combines modern with 19th century overtones. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Laurent (I am sorry if I misspelled his name) gave us super helpful advice on unique places to visit. His love toward his city made us love it even more. The room was extremely clean and well maintained. There are numerous restaurants on a walking distance. For my next visit to Paris, I will not even consider any other hotel.
Really enjoyed staying at this hotel. Design is great. They use only quality products. The breakfast is very generous. You're 5 min walking distance to Panteon, Luxembourg garden, and the famous Bibliothèque Sainte-Geneviève.
Awesome hotel at the heart of the Latin Quarter.
Good
Great Location
Beautiful hotel in a great location with friendly staff. Reims were small but to be expected in Paris. I would definitely stay there again.
We travel often and have stayed at many high end hotel chains and independent boutique hotels. This facility ranks as one of our favourites. Well thought out and great value. Bill & Leah Vancouver Canada
Chic hotel with very nice rooms in a quiet neighborhood close to the Pantheon and Notre Dame. The hotel staff went above and beyond, and could not have been any kinder or more accommodating for our requests. We will definitely come back.
Convenient location for our Paris visit. Nice street market nearby. Took transit or walked to everything. Room was clean but on the smaller side (that may be common in older buildings). Minor annoyance was that there was only one outlet in the entire room and not near the bedside table.
Great location! Super nice hotel.
Great property in a great location, but what really stood out was the staff! They were incredibly friendly and gave helpful tips. Would recommend to others.
Our 2nd time staying here- we love it!
This hotel is excellent. The room and bathroom are comfortable and well appointed. The location is wonderful. It’s right next to a beautiful courtyard and the Sorbonne University. Steps away is a nice little cafe where we ate several times. The staff was superb. Lucie at the front desk went above and beyond to help us with everything. I can’t wait to return to Paris and come to stay again at this excellent hotel.
Staff was great. Lobby snacks and water was good too. My only complaint is specific to room 18. My room was across from a supply closet so we frequently heard activity right outside the door. We tried sleeping in but were frequently awoken by loud clanging right outside our door. I forgot to mention the AC, shower, and breakfast buffet were also great! I recommend the hotel but stay out of room 18.
The service was extremely good. Several times, the staff went beyond the call for us. For example, we had arrived from the US and were very tired. When we overslept breakfast by 30 minutes, the front desk called downstairs and had some breakfast held for us during the breakfast cleanup and the breakfast staff were extremely kind.
This is a great property ! We’ve stayed here a few times, staff is superb- helpful, friendly , multi-lingual. Our first visit we had a very small & cramped room, we upgraded on next visit- felt so comfortable. Only downside is lack of plug-ins in bathroom or the other mirrored area to use hairdryer. Prefer a walk-in shower as the tubs are so deep it’s hard to manage.
Overall a good place to stay, great location and friendly staff
SATISFIED CUSTOMER
Nice hotel, good location and friendly staff. Some very good restaurants and bars in the area, less crowded than the right bank yet with easy access to al of the sights.
Great staff. Great location
Great front office team! Very helpful.
A perfect fit!
I had the smallest room category and it was lovely for one person. It had everything I needed, was smartly decorated and Very clean. If you need a lot of space this might not be for you, but for me it was an excellent value. The staff was polite, attentive and the whole experience was excellent. The location was also good right next to the Sorbonne. A central but not too touristy area in easy walking to the sights!
When we checked in the room assigned didnt working a/c, they tried to remedy the problem but couldnt, so they moved us and upgraded to a mich larger room at no charge for the inconvenience. Robes, slippers which you can take home made it a nice comfortable stay. Staff is very personable and remembers you daily.
Staff were great, lovely restaurants all nearby, loved the room. Would come again 😊
This hotel is in a prime location. There are tons of restaurants, the jardins de luxembourg is right nearby as well as the pantheon, there is a shopping district closeby as well with boutiques. The rooms are slightly outdated but very clean, and the staff were friendly.
.
Great hotel in a great area
We have stayed in this hotel several times and it is one of our favorites. It is in quite area but close to shopping and restaurants. The staff are very friendly, and the hotel has a very interesting decor.
Excellent location. Somewhat secluded by Paris standards, located in a courtyard off the main drag.
Lovely setting
We've stayed at this hotel during multiple trips over the last few years and it continues to meet and exceed our expectations. The staff are so kind and accommodating. This time we travelled with a 10 month old and they made sure that the room was ready with a crib and helped us move to a different room to make the stay more comfortable during kiddo's nap times. Couldn't recommend enough. A true hidden gem. location is very convinient to the metro, parks, groceries and dining.
This hotel is adjacent to the Sorbonne (lots of college kids coming and going), walkable to the Pantheon and Notre Dame. For most of the other big attractions you’ll need to take the metro or a cab. Wasn’t super impressed with the dining or bar scene in the area but there are a ton of movie theaters around, some showing old classics and some showing current. The hotel itself was fine, stayed for 6 nights. We arrived early and our room wasn’t ready yet so they took our bags for us. Then when we did check in around 4pm they lost one of our bags at first and there was some confusion but ultimately it was found. There were also flies in the room throughout the week. They did provide bathrobes and slippers which is always nice! You have to turn in your physical room key to the front desk every time you leave which I thought was odd, granted maybe that’s customary for Europe I’ve only been one other time. The mattress was kinda hard too so I had some trouble sleeping. It was quiet at night and we did not hear other guests. Probably wouldn’t stay here again but it wasn’t bad, either.
Property was in a very central location. Very clean. Friendly staff. We wouldn’t hesitate to book this hotel again.
Super !!
So nice , I will return
The hotel is chic and very well maintained.
We were misled about Metro closings and so walked excessively.
Absolutely beautiful property locatedin the Latin Quarter next to the Sorbonne. Room was beautiful, quiet and comfortable. Staff was overly accommodating and had a wonderful stay. I would return again.
Very nice
I’m very amazing place to stay. Would recommend.
Excellent all round.
Excellent location . Staff very helpful and cordial.
Beautiful hotel at a great location. Staff was accommodating and friendly.
Will definitely recommend this hotel to families and friends. Very clean staff were very helpful and pleasant. All the time there where someone to help us. It was walking distance from a lot of great places and very safe to walk at any time. Great service and great people.
Beautiful hotel, quiet, safe and walkable to many places. If you take a taxi from the airport, I would like to recommend to ask hotel the arrangement.
Very good location and beautiful bedrooms
Good hotel, great location
Good hotel in a great location. Service was prompt and efficient and the room was warm with a great view. Only downside was the bathroom didn’t have a fully closing door
The location is wonderful and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
Jewel box rooms with every necessity. The staff was welcoming and helpful.
The location is perfect, the room was a good size for that part of the city, and the staff were helpful and friendly. The only issue we had was with the temperature in the room--it got a little warm overnight. But we would definitely stay here again.
Loved this elegant hotel. Its location, very close to the Pantheon and a short walk from Notre Dame, is perfect, the rooms were lovely, modern and spacious (I was fortunate to get an upgrade to an Executive room) and all the staff were very pleasant and helpful. This will certainly be my go-to hotel in Paris in future.
The triple room offered the perfect amount of space for three people. We appreciated the large bathroom and enjoyed the comfy robes & slippers provided. We loved the design elements and architecture throughout the facility. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would stay here again and recommend it to others.
