Nothing amiss- beautiful space, cute neighborhood, kind hosts, yummy breakfast! Would definitely recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The hosts provided excellent customer service, very caring to my disabled mother and my dog. The unit was quiet, clean and comfortable, especially the bed. Loved the walk-in rain shower. The location is walkable with restaurants nearby. I hope to return in the summer to see the gardens in full bloom.

A wonderful stay

The proprietor was lovely and so welcoming. He had the house wonderfully fixed up for the holidays. Everything was top notch. We were not able to take full advantage as we were only briefly in the area to visit family and hope to go back.

What a wonderful escape! A gem atop a quiet hill; it was simply perfect. My room felt luxurious, with all sorts of small touches to make me feel welcome. Breakfast was delicious, and the hosts were extremely helpful. I would love to return.

Very helpful staff and hog lovers. Your dog is free to wander and run in the large fenced garden yard.

We had a wonderful stay at the Sehome Garden Inn. The home is very comfortable, and the room is nicely equipped and private. The bed was super comfortable! Breakfast was delicious, definitely a highlight of our stay, and the hosts were great. The location is private but very easy access to local amenities. Definitely would stay here again.

The host's attention to detail was amazing. The studio was very clean, and had convenient features. The breakfast included biscuits with homemade strawberry jam from their garden. Can't recommend enough!

Walter and Joseph were wonderful hosts. The room had everything we needed for our four night stay and it was very comfortable, quiet and relaxing. The property is beautiful and very well cared for by the hosts.

I wish i could find a place to stay that is this good, everywhere i stay! Fantastic hosts, home made breakfast, jam, biscuits, comfortable beds, beautiful landscaping, secure parking, and awesome dogs! We would give ten stars if we could, and will definitely stay again if we are in the area again!

Welcoming green garden home - beautifully decorated, luxuriously comfortable bed, and with thoughtful quality amenities, very clean, but what really makes this a completely unique experience are its owners and hosts. They are thoughtful, charming, knowledgeable, welcoming. I also Loved their on-site furry family (2 gentle dogs, and one cat). This is a bed and breakfast type accommodation, and some general mingling and occasional noise should be expected. I highly prefer this to an anonymous hotel experience, but if you’re coming and going very late or don’t want to interact, it’s good to be aware of this. Staying here was a highlight of my trip.

This is the best bed and breakfast we've ever stayed. Joseph and Walter are excellent hosts and the property is absolutely beautiful. Bellingham is a very quaint medium sized town with lots to do. Very relaxing!

Beautiful location right near the arboretum. Joe and Walter were fabulous hosts and served us a lovely breakfast. The accommodations were very comfortable and spacious.

The welcome for me AND my 2 dogs! We're on a long trip and they're were so friendly to all of us.

Delightful Stay

Super cozy well maintained property, delightful garden setting. The room was lovely, hosts were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. Breakfast was fantastic. Could not recommend this place more.

The garden inn is a beautiful serene setting. We stayed in the Japanese Garden Suite and all was perfect. We did make the mistake of not planning our visit to be able to stay for breakfast (definitely will be more leisurely on our next stay). The room was quiet, well equipped and very comfortable. It was still winter but could tell that gardens will be amazing in the spring/summer.

Loved the serene environment and the comfortable bed. The artwork is really beautiful as well and the birds in the garden were wonderful to watch.

This is a lovely place to stay. The breakfast was amazing, with jams made from fruit on the property. I was visiting my daughter who goes to WWU and will definitely be staying here again over the next several years.

We had a lovely stay at Sehome Garden Inn. There were so many thoughtful touches - especially for pets. The breakfast spread was such a lovely surprise in the morning, including homemade jam & mugs based on your favorite color. I would highly recommend & would absolutely stay again on our next visit to Bellingham.

Amazing gem in Bellingham

The house and property are beautiful and Walter and Joseph are so welcoming. There were so many nice touches in the room and during our stay and the house is spotless. We will definitely be back!

This little garden retreat was a marvellous place to stay. The host was a kind friendly man who went out of his way to make us feel at home. The morning breakfast was the perfect thing to start the day. Housemade jams, “seasoned just right” biscuits, egg bites and the best coffee yet. The accommodation was a visual treat, the garden area a peaceful setting. We can imagine no better place to stay.

So much better than staying at a hotel! Our stay was wonderful and the hosts were fantastic. The room was clean, comfortable and much larger and nicer than any hotel at the same price point. Lovely garden to walk around with a park a short walk away. Pet friendly with two loving dogs and a cat if you can not travel with your pets. We will not hesitate to return in the future.

Wonderful to have a unique, homely experience surrounded by greenery and flowers amongst a 5-week business trip involving uninspiring hotels in concrete surroundings! Timber, patchwork quilt, tea options and kettle in the room, adorable Labradors, delicious breakfast of eggy bites and fresh scones ( whoever knew GF baking was delicious?!)… What’s not to love?!

This experience was amazing! The property and home is stunning, clean and beautiful. The garden is extensive with lots of seating and paths to walk along. We stayed with our 1 year old and he soaked up every minute of it. Especially the delicious breakfast. We have already recommended this to several friends with travel plans to Bellingham!

Lovely home, enjoyed our stay. Very quiet and breakfast was delicious.

Our dog was off-leash all the time and had a lot of fun during our stay. Our room was clean and charming.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, both Walter and Joseph were the consummate hosts along with their super snuggly fur babies. Morning breakfast was delicious, especially the fresh hot muffins with homemade strawberry jam made from the property garden berries. It was the perfect getaway for us to get some quiet, quality downtime. We can highly recommend the Sehome Garden Inn.

Avoid this if you want a tv or to control the heat

No tv room was cold. No ability to regulate heat. My partner is older with health issues (85) which need attention to room temps. Owner refused to raise heat as it would raise heat in his house attached to the unit. We were unable to stay because of the temperature and he reused to return our money despite the fact that we were there for less than one hour. H

An Impeccable Delight

I can’t gush enough about Sehome and its lovely providers, Walter & Joseph (and Odette, Porter & Winston). This Inn is beyond charming, with all elements well-conceived to cover every one of my needs. I only wish I had stayed longer than one night (a fact I will most definitely change in the future). I have stayed in all manner: nice hotels, VRBOs, you name it— this place is exceptional for its unique beauty that only two people who built it by hand could make possible. (Gardens to walk through and homemade jam from the fruit of their garden, are just one sample illustrating what I mean). If you find yourself in Bellingham, I recommend making it your place to call home for a spell. I know I will return, if for no other reason than to escape back to this special lodging.

Beautiful property - our dog was welcomed by 4 other dogs that live on the property! Talk about a dog-friendly place - we all had a lovely time.

This was our second visit to Sehome Garden Inn. This stay was in the Japanese Garden Suite. It was comfortable and private, with a serene view out to the shade garden, which was refreshing on a summer day. Walter and Joseph were welcoming without being intrusive, and sought to make our stay comfortable in every way.
