My stay was OK. The rooms are clean. The staff are friendly and ready to assist. The last night of my stay, the water pipe in the room opposite mine burst and water filled all rooms nearby, we were re allocated to other rooms
Great place to stay

Mixed Experience
The hotel is fine for a business hotel but there were a few issues. 1. The wifi worked most of the time but dropped off every now and then. 2. One evening the hot water stopped working. 3. Snack / bar type food can only be ordered as room service. The webpage to let you know what you can order did not work. In the event, the price of a club sandwich was the same as a half chicken dinner in the restaurant. 4. The TV channels only worked spradically. This may be linked to the wifi issues. 5. Some staff were very attentive and helpful others took ages to take your order and present a bill.
Very comfortable stay. Pretty close to most places. Very friendly and helpful staff
Best Hotel ever !
Very nice stay, quiet and staff are nice
Excellent services.
Great hotel for experiencing Abidjan
I really enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. There was at least one person on staff that spoke English.
Great hotel
It was a very contemporary hotel. Pricy (compared to other Ivorian hotels) due to being in Plateau. Example - lunch buffet was 20 US dollars - about 4× the cost in Kumasi. Staff was friendly and helpful. We missed the hotel shuttle due to being stuck at the airport in customs, and the hotel sent tbe driver and van back out for us.
The staff were very nice, polite the areas is nice in safe.
The facility looks quite new and clean. The room is small but enough. One thing I need to say is about the reservation and payment. I’ve booked six nights but it was booked as just one night. And, even though around 200 dollars was deducted from my card on the first day of check-in (it is not a deposit because it has not been refunded yet), I was charged for the entire stay on the last day and had to pay it. I am requesting a refund, but there has been no response and I am in a very difficult position.
Below average
Dirty bed sheets and pillows. Leak from the ceiling in the bathroom Staff couldn’t provide me with access key when I checked in
Bon sport, peu bruyant et les chambres assez confortables. Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas de piscine
The Seen Hotel is in the business district. It is a walkable neighborhood to stores, banks and restaurants during the daytime. At night, the neighborhood is quiet as many people only come to this area to work. The rooms are small. I did not like that they had no door or privacy for the shower and toilet area which were directly behind a glass wall next to the bed. I also did. It like that they only provided ONE towel and NO washcloth. It seemed a bit strange coming from hotels in the USA. If you don’t speak the language (French), the hotel staff is also limited in their ability to help. I did like the fact that hotel is very security conscious.
Good location. I remember staying at Seen about 5 years ago and loved it. Now the facilities seem to have deteriorated. The rooms and restaurant could do with some renovation.
Overall we enjoyed our stay. Most of the staff members are very friendly and helpful.
One of the best options in Abidjan
Seen Hotel is a very comfortable property located in the heart of the Plateau district (downtown Abidjan CBD). Free shuttle service to and from the airport was dependable and comfortable, with free water provided. The room is very modern, but there was the smell of mildew in the air so they need to improve ventilation and perhaps clean the smell out of the room. Overall, it’s a comfortable and clean place to stay and I always choose this hotel in Abidjan. I felt that service was lacking a bit - the staff seem a bit unhappy. Also, the hotel is currently undergoing renovations so services are a bit different than listed, but they’re trying their best.
Good property
Front Desk Angele was very helpful and nice.
Nothing
dated rooms and noisy
Room has no comfortable chair. breakfast not real
Good

I was told no room available after making me wait for 2 hours. The worst experience I have ever encountered with a hotel.com reservation. They just didnt care and disrespected us. We were recommended another hotel and when we arrived were told have to pay or look for another hotel. They just did not care. I have never experienced anything like this before and the worst part was we were in foreign country. I give the place a 0 rating. The staff was horrible which reflects on the manager who were told was not available all that time.
We enjoyed our stay at Seen hotel and hope to be back.
It is a good location in Plateau, however, the property and service is not what i expected (based on similarly priced properties). for all amenities the guest needs to ask for and rooms are convenient, however they are rather small. Property requires improvement.
Guys working there were friendly, bathroom no toothpaste and soap, towel wasn’t clean, room items like glass wasn’t available until you went to ask.
Poor service
More than one reasons to be unhappy with the service
.
My stay was good, the hotel have good security, is quiet and have a beautiful restaurant and resting area. I do not like the open shower and there's no bathroom hymidity exhaust fan. The food choice menu is limited.
Property is great. Occasionally sketchy people walking on the streets near the property, but not on it. Overall, it’s great.
The amenities are modern and the staff very professional.
I enjoyed my stay at Seen Hotel
Disappointed
Concierge was friendly beside that the restaurant service was mediocre at best I ordered a classic pizza oh my Gosh it took 1hr20 mns to get my food and the taste was totally off wow. My room bathroom wall was moldy and no door, when you shower the water spilled everywhere.
Though there’s a lot of construction going on…but the quietude was awesome. The only problem was drivers finding the hotel.
First time to Abidjan
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Abidjan, and I must say, my trip was an absolute delight from start to finish! The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the wonderful hotel with its impeccable conditions, spotless cleanliness, and exceptional organization, it truly exceeded all my expectations. What made my experience even more memorable was the hotel staff. They were so friendliness, going above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. Even though some of them didn't speak English, they made every effort to communicate and make me feel welcomed. A special shout out goes to Milton and Michael, who stood out for their exceptional service and genuine care. The hotel's location was another great advantage. It provided convenient access to the city's, making it the perfect base for exploring Abidjan. And let's not forget the mouthwatering breakfast spread! It offered a tantalizing variety of delectable dishes, catering to all taste buds and ensuring a delightful start to each day.
If you are in Abidjan on vacation, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel as it’s geared towards business meetings and etc. breakfast is limited and room service is slow and unhelpful. You’ll likely get more for your money elsewhere. Luckily I only booked 2/3 nights anything more and I would’ve likely checked out early. Staff are hit & miss in turns of attentive ones and those who are not as welcoming unless you’re in a suit.
Good hotel- good price but improvement is needed on the breakfast - too basic
Excellent hotel!
Excellent business hotel with hip, trendy, and unbelievably clean rooms. The furnishings and fixtures were completely spotless and the room was bright and open. Air conditioning works OK, but it takes a while to cool down the room (maybe 20 min). The washroom and shower were in wonderful condition. Wifi was the fastest I’ve had in West Africa. One of the best hotels in Abidjan - highly recommended.
disappointing
the room is dated, window cracked and lack of amenities. The shower flooded and took a long time to repair, no apology and when i asked for another room unhelpful, The front desk is not coordinated, and they di not seem to known what is happening. Many other options to use
The place is clean, well located and has friendly staff. Barman is a nice guy that tells you the do's ane don'ts of Abidjan. Thanks
In the heart of Downtown Abidjan
Pleasant hotel. Found the service in the restaurant inconsistent. Had good service on some days and really bad on others. Also found the menu was limited and there are no other places
Great dining options
Good in parts, poor in others
The biggest problem is that management for F&B is missing in action. The refill of food/cheese/fruit at breakfast was close to non-existent. There are not enough side plates and the croissants were stale as a start. The check out process was painful. I was expected to pay for any food/drinks immediately after consumption, it could not be put on the bill until checkout. I hope your stay was more pleasant than mine. BUT the bed was comfortable, the room cleaning service was good and the ability to use a ATM almost within the hotel was appreciated.
The property is clean, modern, inviting, open, and centrally located.
Rooms are terrible
Bath not separated from room
The staff was very helpful.
Attitude of personnel very friendly and accommodating
The hotel was modern, very interesting trendy features, well designed, inviting, aesthetically appealing.
The property is clean and safe, the staff pleasant, and the location is convenient for those needing to be in Plateau or nearby neighborhoods.
Nice stay
Prompt attention from staff .cleanliness .professionals front desk staff .
Would NOT recommend
Food is over priced and it’s disgusting. Customer service is horrible. Rooms are small. They don’t clean the rooms every day. Basic room necessities are not available in the room such as iron, blow dryer or spare towels!
Good hotel for business in Plateau area
Good hotel for business in Plateau area
Decent hotel, rooms are nice. Good business hotel.
SL
Excellent staff, very friendly and attentive.
None, quite disappointed with the responses of the management
It was accessible at all times. I enjoyed the meals, room service.
For what it is the price is very expensive. I have no complain about the cleanliness of the hotel or the service. Both were impeccable! I think a chair in the room and a separation from the shower to the room would be a welcome addition.
Good value well located hotel
Good hotel well located
The room is relatively small but look is very beautiful and modern. It was a bit low in privacy as sound from outside was coming inside but overall the property is modern with all the facility.
Very clean. Quite place to rest your head. I did not indulge in breakfast however it looked good with multiple options. Word of advice, use your do not disturb door sign. The staff comes around offering services (which is helpful) however can be a nuisance when trying to sleep.
The breakfast is very poor and the staff are not properly trained. Poor service in the restaurant.
Decent hotel
Good & clean hotel. The staff is severely untrained in customer service, especially the security staff & the day time reception staff. The night reception staff & the restaurant staff are the good ones.
New hotel, with everything clean and good condition. I liked that and it's fairly central location within the Plateau area. What I didn't like is the poor design of rooms and some of the service areas. There is no separation between room and toilet, the toilet is LITERALLY IN THE ROOM, just behind a glass pane which is part of the headboard. That's bad enough if you are alone in the room. It's definitely ideal for couples going out on a vacation together for the first time.I was there with my wife and we both need our privacy in the bathroom and the best we could get was a disabled room and we appreciated the staff making that "accommodation" to meet our preference.I really have no idea what they were thinking with that design.I spoke to other guests and no one seemed to like the idea & I suspect many of them will think twice before returning to that hotel - for that reason.Even the suites are like that!!They have 3 lovely restaurant spaces, but the open "garden" part of the outside section of the restaurant would be so much more appealing if it was on the rooftop, to give one a view of the lagoon. Restaurant and bar staff appeared not very knowledgeable about drinks, even coffee. For a country that produces coffee, it was disappointing to find oneself struggling so much to get a decent cup of coffee, even the coffee machine in the bar produce really poor quality coffee. This hotel has so much potential, they just need make a few changes and also train their wait staff better.
Room very small. Bathroom no door and shower water flows onto floor
Clean well situated and easy to access. The shuttle from the airport is unreliable. Despite confirmation email it was not at arrival and when I called the reception said not available. On my way back they put us in dirty and likely unsecured red taxis!
close proximity to restaurants. The hotel safe was not screwed in properly, it fell and hurt my hand. The water in my room was cold, so i took cold showers!
Small spaces almost like a high end budget hotel. Dinning facilities are very regular
Nice location
Small rooms but rest all great
Center of town, free shuttle to the airport, good buffet breakfast, very helpful staff
Try better hotels if there are in Abidjan
I think the hotel is a little hyped with ratings as there are no much choice in Abidjan. The room was stinking as I entered and the closet was not even flushed.I have no idea ,how it went unsupervised before checking in some one. The restaurant service was terrible , waited for 30 minutes and still no sign of coke so just left the place with embarrassed guest , who came to see us.the closest is just behind your bed with just a glass between you and the toilet while you sleep no real enclosure. over all totally disappointing.
Air conditioning did not work. Very hot. They tried to fix the AC but were unable to and they did not offer me another room.
Beware of this property. They took a copy of my passport and posted for everyone to see including other hotel guests. Although this property is in Africa, it’s own by a European who is clearly racist. Don’t waste your money or time. They’re are better hotels with better food trust me. Do your research as this hotel is in a remote location and very far from the city.
Beautiful hotel in the city!
I stayed here for 2 nights, the hotel is located right in the city near all the banks. The hotel staff was very friendly and took care of all my needs, I will definitely stay here again.
Great room with a very modern look. The fitness center was very clean and new. The breakfast buffet was excellent!
Everything was great. The hotel was clean and the service was good. The location of the hotel was also very central. The only flag there is no door or full wall between the bathroom and the bed area. So if you’re traveling with two people that’s a little awkward.
Seen Hotel
The Seen hotel is a newer property. Opened in last two years. It’s locsted in the business district so if you have work in town it’s ideal. It’s also clean, comfortable and modern. Staff are friendly and food is decent event if over priced.
Safe and decent location
Good location. Amenities are basic. Enjoyed the breakfast
Not very recommanded
The hotel is nice the room look good , the equipment also but in my room and some part of the hotel it was a smell of moisissure very hard to be inside the room. For the second room my friend was in the middle of a shower and they close the water for 30 mn. Also the price that they want to charge is local money with different rates that in the site of hotel.com
Mixed
Staff and food are great. Hotel in room with open toilet and not much space is not good for couples. We were eventually moved to disabled room which had enclosed bathroom—but it was moldy and air con did not work while safe also had to be repaired. They moved us to 3rd room to sleep and gave extended checkout to make up. I think this hotel would be great for single business travelers with work in plateau
Good Business Stay
Good Stay. Received undercooked food 3 separate times.
Nice experience. Clean hotel. Friendly smiling staff.
very nice Hotel for business purposes in Le Plateau, steady and excellent WIFI signals
Clean, good internet, good food and friendly staff.
Great hotel in Plateau for businss trip
Great for a 3-4 days business trip in Abidjan. Good location in Plateau. Great staff. Decent amenities. Clean. Small rooms, but convinient with all you need for a single guest
Nice hotel. Inconvenient if you;re not staying alone as there is no privacy (or option for privacy) when using the bathroom and toilet. Gym is open 24 hours which is nice, but the gym is very basic. 2 treadmills, 2 stationary bikes, one weight bench and some weights.
Great hotel! Definitely recommend for business!
The hotel staff are great, they make an effort to know the customer and always try to help. There can be a lot of small flies around the lobby but the staff deal with them and get Reid of them promptly.
Comfortable, reliable and friendly
Great hotel and the staff are very friendly
Pleasant short business stay
Stayed due to business. Very friendly staff and good selection of room service menu. Room had adjoining bathroom which is a bit uncomfortable as it’s open plan. Breakfast options could be better. Useful airport shuttle service
Good value overall
Staff were very courteous, especially the front desk staff. Check in and check out were very easy. This is a good hotel for business purposes - no frills. The regular rooms are small, relative to some other hotels in Plateau, but this wasn't an issue for me. Note, as shown in pictures, that there is no separation between the bathroom area and the rest of the room. Good value overall.
Nice but ......strange bathroom
Convenient location. Pleasant trendy hotel. Small room with an exposed toilet in a bathroom behind glass with no door. Not suitable for sharing! Food, snacks and restaurant staff were slightly below average.
Great location, Cleanliness, Airport shuttle, Modern room vibe
