Amazing property, great staff and great amenities.

The Secrets resort was an exceptional hotel. There were some concerns during our stay. The temperature of the pool water was freezing. Also the jacuzzi was not working neither. For the amount of money that we paid, which was substantial.this type of luxury property should not have these issues.

Very good service. And we had a great time at there.

The food was edible but it no way did it meet expectations. The items were either severely over cooked or undercooked. The buffet items didn’t look fresh and there were flies buzzing everywhere. In no way do I expect there to be no flies but around the food, there are things such as fans or cases food can be kept in. The mosquitos were rarely around the property but in the suite bathroom they attacked like starving zombies. The daily entertainment wasn’t communicated, you had to actively seek it out. For what we paid, I expected more. Speaking of more, they constantly wanted you to spend more money. For example, a massage, face value $500-600 US, but if you get the magic coupon book the cost was more in line with what you would expect to see. Then they wanted to setup a meeting (similar to that of a time share). The staff were very friendly and the place was clean, but for the $$ go anywhere else…..The most edible food we got was when we went offsite to the mall and ate at the Butcher, or PH casino. By the way, they overcharge for ALL transportation. 1 out of 10 would NOT recommend.

Not very satisfied for the money wtat they charge very limited, transportation, limited dining quality of the room of the bed of sheets pillows, cheap. and a lot of people they got sick from the food I did it thank God, but I got like some Rush in my skin.

The staff is what makes the difference here.!! The swimming up pool bar was Amazing. Manuel, Odalys and Ariel went above and beyond. They made us feel super comfortable, we enjoyed every second !!

Secrets Cap Cana is a beautiful property. It was my first time at an all inclusive and I made an excellent choice. The staff, especially Xiomara and Marisol, provided amazing service. The spa was nice. My massage therapist, Junior, helped me fully relax. Two suggestions, improve the sparkling wine options in the non-preferred section and make the beach towels available earlier than 9:30am.

Everything was amazing, amenities, service, attention to detail. And our butler Joshua was great!

This property is an experience! A wonderful one!! Will be back for sure.

Amazing stay! The service at this reaort was outstanding. These staff made our trip awesome: Manatee and Sugar reef bars crew Benito, Santa, Marta Jose, Odalis, Manuel, Ariel,.Sandy and Ruth. My girl Flor who came around with delicious empanadas. Vanesa from the preferred beach area always with a smile. Luchy from CoCo cafe who went out her way to get me dominican cake. My favorite hostess Rachel who greeted us every morning at breakfast. Last but not least , our butter Darling. What a great guy he is!. He made sure we were well taken care us. He took time to stopped by us to chat and check if we needed anything.

The secrets Cap Cana Resort and Spa is a true five star resort. Everything was very good. Name brand alcohol, pretty good food, the staff outstanding, didn't ever have to wait for anything, the concierge service is awesome with our guy Jeison on a daily basis, the beach is nice, the beach is private it's the type of beach where there will be little to no traffic from other resorts and if it is it's by the only one next door which is also a nice place! The only small thing I could complain about is that the men's bathroom at the ocean side Restaurant needed the door handle to be fixed or replaced; but that's it! A true five star resort!

Couldn’t think of another resort to rest and enjoy quality time with my husband. Staff is so warm and friendly. Drinks are amazing!

We needed to leave early and wanted to get a refund for the two nights the hotel said sure and we are still waiting and running in circles with these people. I guess we’ll have to call American Express and try figuring this out. We will never stay at any Hyatt

Needed music at the pool!

After having been to Secrets Akumal two times, Maroma and Royal Beach I would have that this would be comparable. The butler could have cared less. Our 20th Anniversary was never addressed after telling numerous employees and the butler didnt e en find us until days after our trip. I wouldn't recommend this resort. I will say beach and food were great though.

Staff and cleanliness of hotel were fantastic. They make you feel like you're family, only thing I do not recommend are the extra experiences that are offered for an additional cost, not worth it in my opinion.

Everything was great, the only thing is that the servers were asking too much if needed anything, which it’s ok to a point. I understand that they try to give service to the guest but they should be looking out for a sign or something from guests and then come along. Besides that, the resort was amazing

Really enjoyed our stay the staff was amazing. The food could’ve been a little better lots of choices, but my expectations were a little higher for the food.

Beautiful property but more important than that was the service. I’ve stayed all over the world and have never experienced the level of service as this resort provided. From the preferred club checkin, butler service, spa services, bar service, pool servers, every restaurant, property maintenance team, entertainment team all the way to check out. it was more than a 5 star experience. Already looking to return soon.

The property was beautiful. We had a wonderful time, but our room had a funny odor, and almost smell like mold. Aesthetically the property is beautiful however I could see a lot of water damage to the room that have been painted over. For the price they charge, the property could use A little better upkeep for things like that.

Staff is what it’s all about! They make you feel like royalty and family. I’m vegan so would love more vegan options and less soy based ones. Also, the night life is lacking there. They do offer shuttles out to clubs which is nice but I was solo and didn’t want to do that. Splurge on the Preferred if you can. I loved my personal butler. I stayed in the 6 building which is close to everything!

I wanted to write a special thank you to Osvaldo and Danny I had an amazing time, also to the masseuse Amparo for giving us the best service we could ask for! the concierge was incredible always ready to answer all of our questions and be on the spot for me and my husband. I can’t wait to come back with the rest of my family and have another great experience!

The resort itself is really beautiful and it was pretty relaxing. The food is iffy. Not bad but definitely not great. The breakfast buffet stood out the most. Our concierge Gerardo was a complete gentleman and very attentive. He did anything we asked and that was great. However the rest of the staff was questionable, we were given a birthday cake in our room for my wife that we didn’t eat at 1st & were saving until the final night. It was out on the table. Maid service threw it out. We were told our luggage would be brought down for us a half hour before checkout on the final day, no one came I had to bring it down myself. At dinner/lunch all of the waiters/waitresses took forever and an hour to bring you a refill on drinks. The pool has no music at all unless the aerobics are going on, I know it’s apparently a chill resort but a little pool music is always more fun, nightlife is pretty weak. Just one hour long show a night then not much else beside a few randomly placed outdoor bars. There is ZERO organization regarding transportation after checkout. Do yourself a favor and lock in your ride back to the airport right away. We were initially to come downstairs at 10:00 for our shuttle. No one knew who said that to us when we got down there, they said ok just hang out here it’ll be along soon. It came at 11:05 and didn’t get going until 11:20. Very very frustrating and everyone else riding with us had the same issues. I think I’d try a diff resort if I were to go back to DR.

Overall, Secrets Cap Cana was excellent and exceeded my expectations.

We were 2 groups for a total of 5.. it was a great experience from day 1.. lots of activities, place so clean, delicious food and each member of the staff was excellent.. Planning to return with a bigger group.

The best of the best. Everyone and everything are excepcional. Peniel our concierge, Flor in the buffet, Juan on the pool of the SPA, Angela in the check in department, and personal on the Coco Cafe are some of the best for being above 👆. In general our best beach vacation 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Everything was truly wonderful and I would go back in a heartbeat! Our only complaints were the lack of variety in the entertainment at night. We were there through the weekend, and they only had concert type shows. Maybe if we were there longer there would have been more options though. We also didn't like that you couldn't get a pool towel until 9am, so you have to remember to grab one the day before to bring down. Otherwise, the entire staff was so nice & helpful. Loved having a personal concierge to send a text each morning to tell us what's going on. The grounds were stunning, and not too many people to ever feel crowded. 10/10 would recommend!

This place was the perfect spot for our annual anniversary trip. We stayed on the preferred side with a swim out pool. The room was perfect!! Our Butler, Ricardo was the best!!! He was there for all our needs and wishes. He also provided some nice touches to our experience.

Great place, not great service

It was an amazing suite , but the service was not good. They lost our luggage when we arrived and then delivered our luggage to Wong people. They were not attentive - considering we were in the best ocean front suite and in the premier club.

The food was delicious, and the room service menu was extensive and convenient. The pool was really warm and the bars were all good! They had staff to bring drinks to you wherever you were. We did the water sports too, the kayak and boat it was so nice because the beach is really warm and the sand is so soft and the water isn’t too deep so we went far out. The seaweed was a bit annoying but overall we felt comfortable being in the water. They had a lots of entertainment & the live music was so lovely! Shout out to Ramón for setting up anniversary banners and chocolates with wine for us! We did have trouble with the hot water but it was fixed for us :). We will definitely be back, perfect place to relax and unwind

Secrets Cap Cana is an amazing resort. The staff was very attentive your every need. The resort is and rooms were clean and well presentable.

Our concierge Peniel really made this trip memorable. He made sure my cousin felt special in every moment of her birthday weekend. The spa was 10/10 i would come back just for that.

Great resort no night club but entertaining 7 restaurants no reservation need it and the buffet great food

The service was outstanding and everyone on the property was super polite and always accommodating to what was needed. Our concierge Jordan was great - The only issue was the room we were in had a very strong mildew smell to it and the sheets had a similar smell.

What a beautiful place to spend a vacation. A time was definitely had at Secrets and everyone was so attentive, so pleasant and went over and beyond to make sure our vacation was memorable.

I just wish there was a little more nightlife

One of the main reason you go to a place like this is for the beach, in this case the beach is not too bad but it is not good, you have to be very careful to enter in the water because there are a lot of stones Be aware of this because it rest a lot of enjoyment to the experience.

Amazing resort

As an adults-only hotel, the nighttime entertainment should extend past 12:00 AM. The hotel has venues suitable for creating a nightclub or late-night bar, where guests can continue dancing and having fun after the cultural activities in the lobby, without interfering with the rest of guests who prefer to sleep.

Such a wonderful experience! Every staff member from checkin to check out was super helpful and accommodating. Our personal concierge, Jeison, was there to help us with all of the silly questions and make sure that we were prepared for everything. It was our first time doing an all-inclusive, but it was worth the money. A luxury experience!

We stayed here for honeymoon and it was one of the best choices we have ever made. Great food, Great customer service especially for our personal concierge Jordan ! We will definitely return in the future.

The property is great. All of the staff are amazing. Our butler Enrique was amazing. We loved every bit of our stay. The only thing to watch out for is the sales pitch for unlimited vacations. Just don’t go to it. Very pushy and dismissive sales people. Other than that we had absolutely no complaints. Just skip the “free vouchers” sales pitch that takes way longer than the hour and half they tell you it will take.
