Great views and amazing staff!

Great location on the beach with amazing views of Haystack Rock. Staff was incredible and easy walk to local coffee and store. A little longer walk to downtown and easier via beach, or you can climb the road for a more intense walk. The only reason for 4 stars is the ability to clearly hear everything from the room below. Although, not a noisy place and sounds of the surf are nice.

Sanctuary at Haystack rock

I loved my stay at Sea Sprite at Haystack Rock. I had a one bedroom, ocean front suite with a pullout sofa bed, dining area, kitchenette, and ocean view balcony with two chairs. It was room #3, upstairs with a stunning view of Haystack rock and the beautiful Pacific Ocean. Check in was super easy. They sent me an email with a door code and precise directions so all I needed to do was park, walk up the stairs, and put in my door code, no waiting, no key to lose, totally private and convenient. Shortly after arriving I received a phone call from the front desk making sure I was checked in and had everything I needed. Great service! The sofa bed malfunctioned so I had to call for a handyman. The process was super easy I just called the front desk and within 15 minutes he was at my door. He was friendly, efficient, and quick, solving the problem with a smile. The accommodations are comfortable and the room was clean. It’s not luxurious, definitely not 5-star accommodation, but it is comfortable, perfectly suitable for the beach, literally steps from the sand ,and has possibly the best view you can get in Cannon Beach. The price was about $500 per night with tax and fees included.

Such a cute place and excellent beach access. It was so very clean with beautiful color scheme that was relaxing and a great view.

Our stay in the Seasprites hotel was absolutely lovely. It's more like a little cottage, with everything a family needs. The staff was friendly and professional, the lodging clean, and the view (directly on the water just off from the haystack rocks) was epic.

We were only here for one night but it was absolutely perfect! The room is right on the beach and Haystack Rock is visible from the Adirondack chairs right outside the door. Possibly to see bald eagles, sea stars, elk, and definitely bunnies.

I have to wonder why the bathroom had not been modernized It was more like a closet in size with the toilet very low to the floor making it uncomfortable. The shower was also very small.

The inn keeper Laurie Was simply the best, very helpful and accommodating would definitely come back!!! She went above and beyond to make sure all our needs were met. The room was two steps to the beach.

What a great spot!!!! Stayed in cottage number 5. Perfect Beach Front stay for 4. Had an awesome fire on the beach with s’mores! Staff is kind and even had our room ready early. Enjoyed exploring the town’s shops and galleries. Really nice calls prior to arrival. Highly recommend.

My friend and I stayed in cottage 3 and had a wonderful stay! The cottage was adorable, from the decor, comfort of the beds and furniture to the cleanliness. The best thing about Sea Sprite is location! You are right on the beach to enjoy the sound of crashing waves, fires at night and outdoor furniture to lounge on. I highly recommend and will visit again.

Very cute property and is right on the beach near Haystack Rock. We really enjoyed our stay. My 5 year year loved the rabbits that lived on the property. We would stay here again.

Wonderful stay with the Bunnies

Unbelievable stay this week at the Sea Sprite. We were made to feel like we were at home. The unit was spectacularly clean, perfectly equipped and the views are simply breathtaking. The added bonus of having the now famous Cannon Beach Bunnies following us around made the trip a lifetime memory for my son.

Location And friendly and adorable room

We had excellent stay here! The cabin was very clean and well kept. The staff are friendly and very thoughtful. The beach is accessible and an easy walk to the Haystack Rock. I highly recommend this place and will definitely stay here again.

Cannon Beach weekend

Great location! Cathy at the front desk is super friendly and helpful. Studio 1a is a little small but we didn’t stay in the room much! Had a really great time.

I love it it was really family oriented and friendly I just didn’t like the checkout time it was too early for us 10:00 am it’s just to early

Everything about this place is amazing! The beachfront location is perfect- it is close enough to walk along the beach to the restraunts/shops, but also far away enough to be peaceful. The hosts are kind and thoughtful, and the cozy rooms have everything you could need!

2 nights stay here wasn’t enough. We enjoyed every minute of it! The cottage was impeccably tidy and clean and perfect for a cozy weekend for the 4 of us. The bunnies on the property kept the kids entertained and happy. We can’t forget to thank them! Can’t wait for our next stay here.

Oceanfront stand alone cottage

Loved this stand alone beachfront cottage! The best front yard ever grassy area with picnic table and 2 adirondack chairs for best happy hour setting. Beds super comfy. Cozy furniture to watch movies at night. Great little kitchen with round kitchen table great for dinner or crafting. Best flip of the switch fireplace that really warms! Will be back for sure! Enjoy the ocean view from cottage if raining and cold. Walk right outside steps from beach. Steps lead down to beach. Super clean 2 bedroom get away!

The room was clean, comfortable, and well stocked kitchen. Check in was easy with good, easy to follow directions via email. A staff member called to make sure we received our instructions and if we had any questions. Would definitely stay again.

This was a wonderful place to stay. Cathy was very kind, called, warned me about the windstorm, and came out to greet me when I arrived to point me to the parking spot and my suite. The kitchen had all the basic accessories for cooking, dining, and cleaning up. The fireplace was lovely, and, the view, amazing. Very short walk to the beach.

Just the perfect spot on the ocean.

Can't Beat This..

very nice stay directly on the beach, awesome view of Haystack rock, and total surprise was a family of bunnies that luve outside that kept our kids busy the whole time. The woman Kathy who runs the joint reminds me that there are still nice people out there. Would come back in a heartbeat.

Super Stay

Amazing location, great views from the large windows in the living area. Super friendly service. Close to town and restaurants, but feels like a world away. Would recommend and go again.

The Sea Sprite was a perfect place to spend my Saturday night! Just a few steps out your door and you’re on the beach! The room was clean, bed was comfortable and it had a little kitchen with all the utensils ready for cooking! There’s also a bunch of friendly bunnies that hangout on the property running around the little patch of grass out front. Overall it was a great stay and I definitely recommend anyone to stay there!

The location was convenient and beautiful. I loved the sound of the surf. The staff was so very friendly and helpful. There was always someone around to cater to my needs and inquires about the area.

Cute cottage style rooms

Loved this cute little cottage style room! Just steps away from the beach view and access! Staff was very friendly and helpful! Would totally stay here again!

The family liked the proximity to the beach and the bunny rabbits all over. The shower is small, it is setup for a one day stay, so be ready to get more towels, coffee, and trash services for a longer stay.

This place is perfect. On the beach. Peaceful. Fairly small and intimate place. Not like a big chain hotel at all. I will be back. I have found my place!

Excellent amenities. Manager provided us with beach toys, a volleyball, a kite, beach towels and beach chairs. Great cottage with a fully equipped kitchen. Great views of the Pacific Ocean from the cottage window. Professional management at the office. I will definitely stay at this property again if I come to Cannon Beach in the future.

They ask for an early check out at 10 am to have more time for cleaning, but the room was very dirty. Hair all over the bathroom floor, gum and dirt on kitchen floor, bedsheets with stain. The front door sent a file with room access info, i couldn't open the file, and asked them to resend it, they never did. It was very challenging to get to the room as they left early. Over rated for what they offer

Perfect!

Simple, Beautiful, peaceful!

This inn was wonderful. The view from the room was simply perfect. We could use the beach for an easy walk downtown to shops and restaurants.

You can't beat the location of this cottage! Great space, friendly service, and clean. My only complaint had nothing to do with the property.... the people who were above us clomped around at 5:50 in the morning! Fortunately that was on the last day we were there. Otherwise we highly recommend the Sea Sprite.

Nice location that is walking distance from Haystack Rock as well as the shopping centers. The staff were really nice and helpful. I did have trouble with the lock, but they were quick to assist me. The room was lovely and is perfectly sized for one to two people. Great views of the ocean.

Amazing spot to relax

Sea Sprite is a wonderful vacation spot! We loved the beach access and proximity to many places to go. The rental was clean, and having a kitchen was great. What a great view from the front Windows! I highly recommend this spot for a quiet vacation.

Quaint, clean, steps from the beach!

Studio 1A was better than expected. It was a sweet little room with just enough space for two, and a bonus view of the ocean. Your can fall asleep to the sound of the ocean. A public beach access is immediately adjacent to 1A’s reserved parking spot. There are safe stairs leading to the beautiful beach. You can easily walk the beach to get dinner at Mo’s. Something to be aware of is that the shower is tiny. Beware if you are claustrophobic. There is a hose for rinsing off sandy feet and beach toys just outside the bathroom window, so there is a lot of foot traffic and people hanging out for a couple of minutes throughout the day. There is a small patio by the door. It would be a big plus to add a small table and 2 chairs to that space. There’s also a sad empty planter that could use some love. Nonetheless we loved our stay at the Sea Sprite Inn at Haystack Rock. This place is special! We would not hesitate to book again.

The location was fantastic. The unit was clean but a little in need of update. I expected more considering the high rate that we paid. The staff was helpful.

Great view and a few steps to beach. Quaint place in a beautiful area. Can walk to food and restaurants or a super short drive. Fairly tame rabbits roaming the area completed a fantastic stay.

Loved "right on the beach", the view, surrounding area and designated parking spot. Bunnies and kitties were a plus. Only complaint was the very uncomfortable sofa bed.

Great place to get away!

The contactless check-in was great. There was a small hiccup that happened during our stay, but staff (Grace) was quick to act in order to make our stay perfect. The room we got had an area to change clothes or dust off before coming back in from the beach which was amazing since i have two young kids. It was close to the car too. Just a great stay.
