Cleanliness and conditions of the furniture were awful. AC hardly worked.

The hotel itself was actually really nice! The room was spacious and very nicely laid out and aircon was great! Only thing is Patong is extremely busy and the room we had was facing the main road with a balcony so every night when we were in could hear the commotion of Patong till the early hours. Not a problem for us as we could sleep through it but if you don’t like noise possibly request a room on the other side??

Charming hotel across the street from the beach. Staff are lovely and helpful, our room was clean, beds were comfortable. Patong is a noisy beach with traffic all night, so bring your earplugs. This hotel is a little bit away from most of the noise, but the area is what it is. We walked easily throughout the area. Nice, charming hotel.

Beautiful views, close to everything without being in the middle of the busy area

Looks old but on the quiet area of Patong beach. Walkable and loads of shops and restaurant. Malin night market in few minutes walk.

The room was clean and the staff were great. The actual hotel itself looked unkept and the main area dirty. On check in we were informed our room faced the street so could be noisy when asked if there were any other rooms we could upgrade to we were informed they were full however during our stay we maybe seen two other people in the hotel it was more like a ghost town. We noticed a large dead moth on the floor as we walked to our room on the first day this was still there six days later. The bathroom to our room had a tension pole to hold up the shower curtain this Fell down numerous times. The beds were comfy and clean. All in all the value for money was fine it is in a prime location and just needs updating and cleaning through. If you’re considering stopping take ear plugs.

Very central location near bars and shops, room was cleaned every day and free water. Overall good stay, large rooms and a fridge 🙂

It was amazing, I enjoyed my short stay there.

The hotel is located directly across from the beach but also located directly across the street from open air bars which have a very high noise level until approximately 5:00 am every day Be prepared for loud music for 20 hours of the day. If you are booking this at a low price understand that there is a reason why. The hotel is old and worn down, and if you are prepared for that you will have no surprises with the state of the walls fixtures and furniture. We had 2 rooms, 1 was the twin beds room which had a balcony with a solid brick wall only 3 feet from the balcony railing, so it had zero view The other room was a king bed and it overlooked the multiple bars that each blasted their own music all night long. I had earplugs so I was able to sleep but I believe that most people would be more sensitive to the all-night music and yelling. The amenities are in terrible condition, the pool was green and the gym was worn down and didn't appear to have been cleaned in a very long time. There is a gym across the street that you can get day passes to for $20 The one redeeming feature here is the staff, every one of them was a pleasure to deal with. All in all of you are looking for a budget hotel in a prime location this is one. Some day this beautiful old structure will get renovated and brought back to its glory days.

The property is very dated and under some work, no bar, no music, no welcome drinks, room was so dusty and the floor so dirty my feet was disgustingly dirty all the time! The hotel felt like it had just changed hands and it had been run down to shop cheap running costs for a quick sale! I must say very disappointed

Hard and uncomfortable mattress

The room was clean, dark and quiet, but the bed was awful. Specifically, it was very very hard. So you can understad my perspective, I have stayed in 19 hotels in 12 different countries over the past six months. All but two of the hotels were two or three star. My complaint to reception did not alter the problem. I was told all matresses in the hotel were the same. Needless to say, I did not sleep well.

The pool looked okay

Location is great. Rooms are spacious but appliances are old and cleanliness is questionable. There were cockroaches in the shower. There was a power outage and staff was rude about it.

This was our second stay, great location, great property. Friendly staff that recognized us. Across from the beach. Comfy beds.

Great location directly across from the beach, walking distance to everything, hundreds of restaurants, night markets, massages, beach activities. Convenient as so close, but far enough away that our room and the hotel were quiet at night. Would recommend staying here again.

Uncomfortable bed

Not a 4 star for any means

The hotel was overbooked,so they advised they were upgrading us ...room dark and damp,facing another building you could just about touch.We wanted our money back as we had paid full on instruction.Was told it would take time.They would upgrade us an ocean view but we would have pay excess.We eventually settled for a room facing all the bars....just an aweful experience.Hotel should not be open for business,as in the process it would appear to being renovated.Certainly no 4 star

Not good, but the hotel refunded

I marked this place down for two reasons. 1. The cleanliness of the furniture was horrible, with stains on couch, seats and headboard, along with some plumbing issues and 2. the noise as we were facing the street which is a main thoroughfare for the tuk-tuks who blast their music until 3am. The hotel did offer to move us to another room at the back of the hotel, but we had already booked somewhere else.

Stunning view ❣️❣️❣️but extreme noise 24 hours

This property is not rated correctly in Expedia. The property is in poor condition. There are 3 bars at within the hotel all closed. A restaurant with limited hours and 2 items for breakfast. Don’t let the pictures fool you they do not represent the condition of the property. Pool was down while we were there. There are many shops in the property all closed. And what used to be a central lobby bar and entertainment area also long closed. By the amount of dust on everything I would say this place has not recovered from Covid. Staff level was a receptionist and a maid for the rooms. Lower your expectations. In Expedia the rating is an 8 and the pictures look great. Years ago this was probably true but not today. We spent our time and money at the hotel next door. Great food, great view and entertainment. I hope the owner reads this. The hotel is in a great location and could be a great money maker but needs someone to invest in the property.

A great hotel - 30 years ago

I booked a room here for 5 days, but I couldn’t make it through the first night.The AC was extremely loud and it blasted me with wind all night. Even on the lowest setting. I had to move the the bed so I wouldn’t get a cold. The bed was like concrete, my ribs were hurting when I woke up from the barely 2 hours I got. I booked a room at a different hotel and just got myself out of there. The room was also opposite a party street, which I didn’t mind, it’s Patong after all. But when it’s called a beach resort I sort of expected something else. I hate to give negative reviews. The staff was lovely and the hotel must’ve been beautiful when it was built, which I suspect is the last time the owners bothered with it. The shower was excellent. The water pressure and the hot water was perfect.

Phuket (to go back!)

Nice enough hotel. Good location. Terrible room view. Very loud air con. Area one to forget.

I stayed here a s a lone female traveller for 4 days. I really enjoyed my stay. It is at the end of the strip at the quieter end but still walkable to the more busy end and is opposite the beach

Very disappointed

The linen, pillows and room was very musty and damp . Had to request new sheets and pillow case. TV had only 1 channel in vietnamese. The hotel is very old and dingy inside and outside the rooms. Very pricey and the photos on the internet are not REAL.

View was stunning of petang bay. Being on the front meant there was noise all day until about 3am, then started again at 7am - scooters, horns, fireworks. Its in a very central location - be aware that comes with the hustle & bustle

2 Star hotel

Good enough. Gym did not work. No AC, towels etc.

Common areas were dirty.

So glad that I booked to stay here. Staff were super friendly and helpful. Room was huge, modern and clean. Directly opposite the beach, just far enough away from the centre of Patong to not be noisy. Optional breakfast sat outside overlooking the beach. Pool area fairly small, but with the beach and sea over the road that’s not a problem.

This hotel is beautiful and in a perfect location for people looking to experience patong and the beach. My friend and I stayed here and were able to walk all over patong and the beach and also had convient taxi/Tuk Tuk acess to all of the rest of Phuket island. The views and the hotel itself are very fun and worth it for that. A few negatives: The property has changed owners several times in the past few years and, while the current owners are visibly working to restore it, many of the facilities are either degraded or completely non-existant including: the rooftop bar/hot tub, the spa, and the large on site restaurant. The rooms are also, clean but, have scuffed/damaged/over used furniture. The main pool also needs some service and upkeep. We recomend this location for sure but dont expect to have the full resort experience until renovation completes.

Room wasn’t as clean as we were hoping but made up for it in location. Right on the beach and near a lot of good restaurants and bars.

Good service bad the hotel

The location of this property was great. The facility had character, but the rooms were a bit dated and the mattress was hard.

Started out nice

Nice big room, but sea views are noisy (bring ear plugs) … had water leak from A/C, phone was dead, elevator for my wing quit working … first two ultimately fixed (handyman was helpful, others not so much) … breakfast did not open until 730 and then for cash only

Nice location across the street to the beach, and the staff were very helpful when I needed it. However the room felt a bit dinghy and needed a good detail cleaning and sheets without stains.

Nice big rooms, had a sea view room. Room was made up/cleaned daily and the person doing the work always did a fantastic job. Greeting when I arrived was non existent - no hi, no smile, just silence - it was only 9pm. Felt like I may have been at the wrong hotel. Biggest disappointment was the pool - closed awful green color to it. I was there for 3 nights and I never saw anyone trying to fix it.

I liked the sea view, small but nice balcony, the property in general need updating

The place it look nice from out side but the rooms personally i think it need son repairs. The staff are very nice. It's near The Bangla road like 10 walk. Near to a lot of bars and restaurants infrom of Patong Beach.

Although we had a balcony we looked at a wall with old planter boxes and lots of pidgeons

Extended stay

We liked this hotel so well, we extended our stay. Who can not like being across the street from the beach? Beautiful pool with comfortable loungers. The traffic is expected to be noticeable, but the location is a distance from the famous party street and close to restaurants and the food market.

Wonderful Stay

The property is well kept. The location is excellent: the beach is across the street, a 7-11 is adjacent, and the Patong beach area is among the surroundings, along wit Bangala and the night life hubs. Breakfast is not included in spite of the 4-star rate charged.

Had a pleasant stay here. They allowed for early check in when I arrived, room was clean, they provided bottled water daily. Bed was a little hard, but from what I hear all beds are hard in Thailand. Location was perfect to explore Patong Beach. Would definitely stay again!!

The bed was very firm, it took a couple of days to get used to it. No view from the balcony. Room was made up daily bit it was day 4 before the bedding was changed. The location was great. Close to the beach and bars. Reception staff were very good.

The property is in a good location opposite Patong Beach. However front rooms can be noisy from traffic noise. Property needs some maintenance- tiles falling off pool wall and roof deck not useable . Overall good value for money.

Old hotel. Beautiful picturesque lobby. This hotel has a remarkable location. Room was very large. Nice little balcony. Bathroom and shower a little outdated. Nice pool. Nice outdoor area to relax. Bonjour, notre séjour de 8 nuits, à été perturbé d'abord par une panne de 3 jours et 3 nuits de climatisation, je déconseille de réserver une chambre avec vue sur mer car une route passe devant l'hôtel et bruyantes de jours comme de nuit ,sinon l'hôtel est agréable construction de styles.

The point is this hotel is located along the road near beach.(There are many stores and activities.) Hotel staff is kind and facility is good to stay.I was able to stay comforatably for large and clean room. In addition, bus stop for phuket town is one minute walk.(It is easy to accesd between beach and downtown.)
