Great staff, love the common areas and lobby.
Very nice stay… i would defiantly book again.
The only thing that I needed that wasn't available, was way too heat water. A little electric kettle would've been perfect but I realize it's an eco-friendly hotel.
Beautiful property, wonderful stay
Great stay!
The rooftop was a welcomed surprise. Fire pits, comfy seating and a beautiful view made it a great and cozy spot to play board games with the kids while enjoying hot beverages.
Property is old. bathrooms are somewhat dirty. They try and do their best.
They were a wonderful staff. We would stay here again.
Everyone on staff was supper friendly and helpful.
This hotel had a great vibe, service, dining options, and decor. The long had a big cozy lobby with two areas where it was fun to sit around the fireplace with family or get food from the delicious smoothie/breakfast place. We also enjoyed a delicious gourmet dinner at the restaurant. Look forward to to trying out the meditation room and the rooftop igloo dining on a future trip. Thanks to cleaning staff for a special request. Also, thanks to security guard for walking me to my car at 3am before going to airport (only 5-10 minutes away). Five stars!
This hotel tops the list of my favorites! Best hotel we’ve stayed at! Very clean and I love the ambiance! Decorations and furnitures are beautiful!
Characterful and clean. Noisy other guests at night, could hear everything.
SCP Redmond is a cute boutique hotel. The staff was accommodating and our bartender was talented and helpful.
Lovely and historic…just perfect.
Quaint, not luxury, but very clean. Everyone was very nice. Close to many great stores and restaurants, walkable.
We enjoyed our stay it’s very cute!
Great location and wonderful hotel! Highly recommend. Would love to stay here again.
Great staff, great facilities. They have the most comfortable sheets of any hotel I have stayed in.
Had a 3 night stay at SCP. Comfortable room. No microwave, no coffee machine. Coffee availible in the Lobby 24/7. The HVAC left something to be desired. Noisy and runs off an on continuously. Front desk suggested I turn it off to sleep. That worked fine, room went from 70 to 63 in 8 hours, still cozy. Ice is availible at the front desk upon request. Many restaurants in the vacinity are closed Sunday evening so the downtown after dark is pretty deserted.
I loved the place!
Alternative to the chain hotels
I prefer staying in Redmond over Bend on my way to SoCal. SCP is an old school unique friendly welcoming space amidst a walkable small downtown with excellent restaurants.
Great stay
Loved the cafe and restaurant within the hotel…also the hotel is very close to Redmond Airport, which was convenient for us since we had an early flight the next morning.
Always amazing
…
Had a wonderful time!
It was very nice
Brenda was awesome at front desk, love the lobby, rooms sheets. To many good thinks to say about this place.
Very relaxed and friendly vibe
Easy check-in/check-out, friendly staff, reasonably priced option for espresso and breakfast, comfortable and ample seating in main lobby area...but there was constant humming/buzzing coming from the adjacent room or outside roof area (couldn't say) in our 3rd floor room all through the night, which this light sleeper did not appreciate
Wow
Very Boutiquee and Inviting.
Nice place
Great stay
Most relaxing stay!
We actually live local to the hotel, but wanted to have a night out! Will absolutely come back! We had a drink and food in the Wayfarer Club which is a nice little lounge/bar. We loved our room, we had a standard queen room and the bed was so comfortable. I loved that there was a noise machine on the nightstand and they provided ear plugs for any street noise. The amenities in the bathroom and shower were wonderful and smelled so good! The staff is really friendly and helpful….oh and the coffee at the little shop was delicious!
Boutique hotel experience without the hefty price.
The rooms are really cute. It is center of downtown. Very quiet, clean and I will definitely safe again
Everyone was nice
Lovely hotel
We’ve enjoyed multiple stays here. Great vibe. Comfortable room. I love the sound machine that always greets me. Located near numerous restaurants and bars.
Our floor was sticky on the feet in some areas. I recommend better mopping. Door to room was hard to open. The door needs adjustment.
Beautiful Motel
A beautiful old motel that has been updated very nicely. It is a bit louder due to the hardwood floors, but very conveniently located in old downtown surrounded by good restaurants.
Nice but missing a bit
The hotel itself was very nice when we walked in. Clean comfortable lobby for sure. The staff was nice too. Our room was also nice but we did find makeup on 2 of our pillows, the toilet was dirty & there was no soap in the shower. Yes, I did address these items the next day & they did take care of them but when you’re tired & just want a shower & clean bed, it’s disappointing. Also, just be aware, this is not a quiet hotel. Downtown noise, including train whistles, car noise, & sirens. Also, doors don’t fully seal & lots of light comes in. They do provide ear plugs but they don’t muffle a whole lot. Probably won’t stay here again.
Loved our stay. The lobby area was so cute and cozy. The staff friendly and obviously proud of their beautiful hotel. We also enjoyed the well equipped workout room and quiet meditation room. Really lovely hotel and our king room was large and comfortable. Will be back!
Great stay
Trendy hotel with a good location
Older building but fixed up nicely. Staff is friendly.
Fabulous service and care by staff. Excellent food and drink at the restaurant. Located in a nice area with cute shops close by and very close to Smith Rock and other outdoor adventure areas.
Never ever again
It was awful. The smell in the hotel was awful. The beds weren’t clean and when we tried to call to get someone to clean them they wouldn’t answer us back
The staff in every part of the hotel and restaurants was very friendly and helpful. The food was better than many other nearby restaurants.
It's an old, really well done building. A very friendly vibe. Whoever is the interior decorator is top-notch. Friendly front desk comfortable beds. The only negative is not the hotels fault. Road traffic can be a little noisy at points, but they supply earplugs, and all was well.
Clean, small, and loud room.
Room was clean and okay for our stay. However, the HVAC situation was not good. The unit is in the middle of the already small room; it was loud; and it did not really work well (it would cycle between blowing coolish air and warmish humid air).
Very clean and quint rooms with all the modern essentials.
Something original!
I knowingly booked a small room, but it was very comfortable. I especially appreciated the original decor, which included artwork referencing two local landmarks. Staff was helpful and supportive.
Expedia has it listed as having a shuttle and they don’t. Came in late and had to take a taxi
I thought the whole hotel was just lovely! Great atmosphere and anything else you could want or need!!!
This hotel is very nice& peaceful. It is within walking distance to shops & restaurants.
Very nice hotel, clean and comfortable bedding
Love the SCP Hotel approach with every detail keeping sustainability in mind abd reducing their carnon footprint.
I didn’t like all the hammering on a Sunday morning early early wake up around 5 AM is the only thing I didn’t like about the hotel.
Not your cookie cutter hotel. Older and very well-maintained. Loved the vibe. Excellent staff and service. The hotel is very close to Smith Rock state park which was the reason we picked it. But we’ll be staying there from now on when in town.
Nice property, great vibe, very easy to get around. Clean, friendly staff.
The hotel was great! The bartender was LESS than friendly! She wasn’t engaging with anyone.
Extremely loud. The hotel was in a good location right downtown. The bar and restaurants were good. Everything was great until it was time to sleep. The beds were comfortable but the traffic noise from the roads was ridiculously loud. There was a train that came through every hour that that woke us up every time blaring its airhorn. There is ear plugs on the night stands for this very reason I would assume. We didn't wear them as we didn't know it would be so loud. The windows and walls are thin as this is an old hotel. I can't emphasize enough how loud the outside ambient noise was. I wouldn't stay there again just based on this alone.
Everything was great.
Good location to walk around Redmond.
Very nice refurbidhed hotel with great amenities, and a welcoming and friendly staff. Thank you for the nice stay!
Love this hotel. I find excuses to travel to Redmond, just to stay here. Great staff, great location. Love the view from the rooftop bar.
Overall the hotel was pretty good. Personally it was more about the location of it that was a turn off. If it was in a different town maybe would be better.
Great
A great place to stay. Great restaurant options, large exercise facility and the rooms are well designed.
One of my favorite hotels EVER!
I can’t enough great things about this hotel! It is a super crazy and unique place. It’s one of my favorite hotels I’ve ever been in! Picture someone like Chip and Joanna Gaines coming in to decorate a hotel with the west culture in mind. It’s absolutely adorable, with amazing restaurants, all located in the sweet downtown area of Redmond.
Beautiful property Tastefully restored
Amazing property! Clean and beautifully redone to be very modern. My only complaints was the elevator being out of order, and the roof top bar closed a 1/2 hour early with no notice on a Saturday night. Bummer we missed going up there. The wayfer bar was excellent. Try the sangria!
Redmond Hotel
We truly enjoy the rooftop bar but it was closed during our stay. Also the elevator was not in service. Other then that our stay was great
Great place to stay
Very nice
Very sweet hotel. Nice staff great location. I will definitely stay there again no loves that it is eco !
Very nice vintage hotel with a great vibe. Nice open area in 1st floor with co-working tables. Dining options in and around the hotel are available. Good coffee bar. Nice spacious room with great light. Open park 1 block away with kids water fountain and food/crafts markets.
Great location, fun hotel
Very cool and clean hotel in the heart of Redmond.
Old school charm mixed with Bohemian flare
Old brick building in downtown, very updated and comfortable rooms, a/c worked very well, shower was super roomy and shower head was downright therapeutic with its intense water pressure. Only bummer was broken elevator. Greet dinner and breakfast options a short walk away, but rooftop restaurant is cool if you have a rez, downstairs bar is cozy and on-site marketplace has versatile selection of snacks/drinks. Workout room was adequate but didn’t use. Would stay again when in town! And recommend you do so, too. The hippie vibe isn’t overbearing, plus there was not a whiff of patchulli oil. Hooray!
It is not nice its looks like 😕
Very nice, but pricy
Excellent Rooms and friendly staff.
Very kind staff and great location
I liked the vibe/style of the property and the staff of the hotel was kind. However, we attended a concert nearby and were disappointed that the hotel bar didn't stay open longer on a Saturday night when we returned to the hotel. We were hungry after being at the concert for hours and it would have been nice if there had been restaurant-type food offerings rather than just grab-and-go stuff when we returned.
Minimal sleep. Could hear people next door and walking up and down the corridor and trains all night
Best hotel ever!
Outstanding customer service that made up for the small disappointment. The deluxe king room we reserved had a couch and table. Instead the room we received had a twin bed in its place. It made the room more awkward for two girls out for a girls night. They were unable to change due to being full. The service was good, allowed for early check in, and the espresso martini was to die for.
The hotel was different than most other hotels.
Mediocre Stay
Overall, the stay was ok. I was disappointed at the amounts of trash that were by our room and never taken out during our stay. With the trash being so close it caused an unpleasant smell. Overall, just wished our area of stay would have been better tended to.
Wonderful stay. Warm staff. Great rooftop bar.
Great little boutique hotel!
I have stayed at and enjoyed othe SCP properties and this was my first visit to the Redmond property and I was not disappointed. Wonderful staff, spacious room, nice drinks in the Wayfarer bar and amagnificent sunset from the rooftop patio. We found dinner within walking distance. Be aware that the Tera Kitchen at SCP is closed Su day amd Monday.
Felt very high end for the time we spent there. Beautiful and relaxing accommodations.
Excellent stay at reasonable price.
Peaceful stay!
Everything was awesome. Will stay again.
We had a bit of trouble with our air conditioning unit in the early morning. Hotel staff was empathetic.
Beautiful property in the heart of everything. Highly recommend
We got a free room upgrade and free drinks, it was quiet, clean, friendly, and only two blocks from our concert venue! Great location, awesome staff.
Rooftop dining option, restaurant in the hotel, breakfast and lunch menu was good. Fair pricing!
Snazzy Downtown Hotel
Lovely hotel with a fabulous roof deck/resturant. Staff were super friendly and informative. My Q room was nicely appointed-comfy bed, huge TV, safe, mini-fridge, hair dryer and lots of lotions and potions. Unfortunately, my room was next to the AC compressor for the building and it felt like a plane was landing when it turned on and off.
Great atmosphere all around
