Good for exploring Liechtenstein

I spent a few days there and found it a pleasant place to stay and well connected by regular and convenient public transport to get anywhere around Liechtenstein. The breakfast was very good. They also serve dinner, which you should pre-book. I didn't have it, so can't comment on the quality, but I did find there were limited options within walking distance.

Nice hostel but a little hard to get to the place

It was very clean and we liked that the lobby had drinks and breakfast.

Excellent hostel. Location is a bit incovenient but its not a a bog deal. Limited eating options around. Friendly staff.

Best hostel I’ve stayed in

This was probably the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in! Great location, friendly and helpful staff, included breakfast options were great, everything clean & tidy and working correctly! 100% would recommend - to groups of young people interrailing etc, older solo travellers, even families with young children there are excellent provisions for. Really everything you could ask for!!

Upmarket hostel, very good facilities

Very nice hostel, high standard in a very attractive setting with lovely views. A little out of town but easily walked from Vaduz or Schaan. Excellent breakfast.

Everything the way I expected it

Late check in

The hostel itself is nice enough but the check in time is really late, 5pm! I only stayed one night which is more than enough but the late check in makes it hard to plan your day and try to fit everything in. Location isn’t the best, it’s kind of halfway between Schaan and Vaduz and a 10 minute walk from the bus. It would be nice to be able to check in at 2pm, have a shower and drop your bag off before going out for the day. If it wasn’t for the check in time then the location isn’t really a big deal. Just a shame the check in time really lets it down

An environmentally sound place to stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my two night stay at the hostel. The staff was extremely helpful. The included breakfast was very good. I really appreciated the architectural design of the hostel. Not only did I like the colors and the materials used but I really appreciated the concern for the environment. The location was good whether you wanted to walk or take a bus into town.

Experience was fantastic, staff was super friendly and helpful. Facilities were excellent and very well kept. Breakfast exceeded expectations. Big bonus was the air conditioning with temperatures in the 30s.

Perfect stay

The best hostel I’ve said in after such a long time. Surrounded by beautiful views and mountains, this is a family run hostel in schaan. It’s huge, lots of young families here with kids so very kid friendly. They even have a kids play area and a library. Its peaceful, super super clean and comfortable. I was in a dorm room of 6 and there was only one other person with me in the room. Comfy beds, pillows and they even have automated lockers with room card so you don’t need to have a locker. Bathrooms and toilets are super clean and someone has really thought well of everything in hostel. Breakfast has excellent, with lots of choice of cheese, bread, yogurt and cereals. However coffee during the day needs to be purchased and you can also buy other snacks throughout the day. Will definitely stay again

A great all around hostel. Comfy beds, big rooms, nice breakfast, good showers, no complaints.

The receptionist is extremely professional, courteous and patient. She always smiles and makes me feel so welcome here. The hotel is about 30 minute walk from Vaduz city center and has great view of the green mountain and forest. The rooms and shared bathrooms/toilets are very clean. It is so peaceful in the surrounding area. I will definitely come back and stay here

helpful manager; nice breakfast; clean property. quiet. there is a nice restaurant within a few minutes walking distance. was slightly difficult to find the property at first, but the locals were helpful in directing me there (after a few tries!)

Enjoyable stay

Walter was very kind and hospitable at the front desk, such a gentleman. Lockers are available for security at no cost and the bathrooms were Clean. Not so far to bus stops

Warm, comfortable and friendly

Travelling from Italy, I was very glad I booked here, because a tailback of one hour was reported for the Gotthard tunnel. Coming this way, via San Bernardino, you miss all that. Waiting for me outside was the warden, Adrian, who demonstrated the access code to gain entry after 9 p.m. The hostel was not busy, and I had a dormitory to myself. Breakfast was substantial, including excellent coffee (beats the Swiss holiday inn expresses). You can borrow an electric adapter for the Swiss-type sockets in the rooms. I had been here before, and would definitely stay again.

It works well as a cheap place to stay in Liechtenstein, near both Vaduz and Shaan. Breakfast buffet was very nice, staff were amazingly helpful and the place was clean.

It is a hostel,so you need to lower your epectations. It was fine for what it is. But cheapest in the area so I went with it.

Ok place, information could be better

The confirmation says private bathroom, which in case means shower. The WC is shared and that was not clear. If you want it dinner you need to inform in advanced, which we hadn't.

The hotel is very clean. Our only problem was that it said it had a private bathroom. It had sink and shower but not a toilet. This summer was really hot. We had a bad time sleeping because of the heat. The breakfast was good. Easy to find.

Late check in

Check in is only at 1700 which is not ideal, but once you are checked in the place is very nice. Great staff.

Lovely quiet location. Excellent place to stay

Huge hostel that was practically empty when I visited. Very clean and comfortable. A little out of the way from both Schaan and Vaduz; about a 20 min walk either way. Good breakfast included; but no toaster? Ha. Would stay here again. :)

Amazing place to stay

The only hostel in the country. When there is no major events (like concerts), the place is pretty empty. Rooms are clean. Shower is separated by gender, it is big and clean as well. I enjoyed my after dinner walk in the field near by. Amazing place to stay

Certainly would not recommend

The WiFi is not available inside the dormitory, which is annoying as only other thing I was hearing was a constant snoring from room mates. No reception personnel would be available, which is also annoying as during mid night few other people came to the room to utilise the beds (after they tried other rooms) but also asked us the keys by waking us, let us to leave the room (inc. breakfast) and all I could do is complaint about the room to Hotels.com as there were no reception personnel. Booked another room and fled the place at mid-night.

Helpful service

The service was good and they were very helpful.

The service I received there was fantastic from all the staff I encountered. Very positive, helpful and pleasant. Just remember that check-in isn't until 5pm. If you're not planning on arriving after that then great - if not the two main locations Schaan & Vaduz are a 20&30 minute walk away which can keep you occupied for a couple of hours.

A quiet but friendly place to stay

A friendly welcome, spotlessly clean, a quiet location. I used the coin-operated Internet - it worked well.

Fantastisk sted med flot udsigt

Helt fantastisk sted! Jeg var der alene med min søn på fire og der var så meget underholdning (indendørs og udendørs legetøj, legeplads, løbehjul) til børn som jeg slet ikke havde regnet med. Derudover havde de masser af spil + bordfodbold og bordtennis til fri afbenyttelse. Morgenmadsbuffet var desuden rigtig god med noget til enhver smag. Stille og hyggeligt område.

Super, bequem, hochmodern und gut ausgestattet!

Ich hatte mir die Jugendherberge für eine Übernachtung herausgesucht, weil ich am Tag darauf direkt auf der anderen Seite der Grenze in der Schweiz einen Termin hatte. Meine Partnerin und ich waren sehr zufrieden. Das Personal war freundlich, das Haus neu und sauber. Obwohl viele Gäste und auch eine Schulklasse da waren, war es ruhig. Das Frühstück ist exzellent. Ich kann die Jugendherberge sehr empehlen.

유스호스텔이라 큰 기대는안했는데, 가격대비 잠만자기에는 부족함이없습니다. 근처에 산책가능한 유채꽃밭도있고 주차시설도 맘에들었습니다. 카운터는 친절했고, 대체적으로 주변이 조용해서 대체적으로 만족했습니다.

So much beautiful hostel. It has amazing view and all the facilities you would require. Highly recommend.
