I arrived early and my room wasn't ready but I was offered free coffee and cake in a very comfortable lounge. When I did get into my room I was extremely pleased. It was extremely clean and very comfortable. I appreciated the generous hospitality tray and full-sized, good-quality toiletries. The dining room is like a huge school dining room with long tables geared towards communal dining. I was traveling alone and felt more comfortable eating in the bar area. I had a curry, which was clearly a microwaved offering and rather pricey for what it was. Breakfast was served in the dining room and I thought that was very good value for money. I enjoyed my stay and I would stay here again. If I had one suggestion to management it would be to make the menu in the dining room available to those who wish to eat in the bar area.

Just FABULOUS!!!!!!!! Super modern,clean,spacious,HUGE shower,comfortable bed,free cookies. AMAZING value for money!!! Forget travel lodge or premier inn,if you are visiting Coventry or surrounding area staying here is a COMPLETE NO BRAINIER!!!! Will be back next month & every time we are in the area.

Nice, convenient stay

We had an enjoyable one night stay here visiting our Son in Warwick University.

This is so convenient for attending events at the university or just spending the weekend with my daughter who is a student in halls. Use of the health and wellness centre is a fantastic benefit.

Excellent location for university. Rooms are clean, comfortable and well appointed. This is my second visit & would definitely recommend.

Interior signage poor - couldn’t find our room. Different lifts not both going to reception confusing. A hotel layout map issued at check-in would be helpful. Comfy room, gorgeous shower, helpful staff. Would recommend & return.

Another great stay!

We stay here frequently as it's so convenient to see our Son in Warwick University. It's a big place, plenty of seating areas, breakfast is really good too. We ate in the Restaurant this time, 3 course set price meal, it was very tasty. We have booked to stay again.

Very clean accomodation inside Warwick university. The service was excellent and the breakfast has a huge selection of savoury and sweet things. Highly recommended!

Stay here through work - convenient for the NEC … good price for the area though it’s a bit clinical

Overall enjoyable stay. Shower itself was nice, but the plug was clogged/damaged so was something of a flooding risk. Slept reasonably, but would have appreciated better quality (ideally blackout) curtains. Self-serve coffee and pastries were greatly appreciated, and all experiences with staff were excellent.

Great hotel, clean and modern. Great amenities. Staff are really friendly and helpful. Food was nice on the evening and the bar had a lovely atmosphere. Breakfast was also really good. Will stay again and recommend.

Accommodation on a par with any quality hotel

Excellent bed, clean modern room, in a modern building with very good facilities. Very helpful staff . Breakfast was plentiful, self-service, though I seem to remember it being fresher last time we stayed here, and it seems to be at the top end of the price scale. Lots of free car parking. Would definitely stay here again.

Great stay. I was coming from Canada and they let me check in early and leave late, which was very helpful for managing flights and was much appreciated.

Fantastic stay. Staff were amazing. Earlier check in allowed as room was ready. Allowed to use the amenities after I checked out for an extra 4 hours whilst I waited for my lad to finish his course. Amazing from start to finish.

Property located in spacious, landscaped grounds emanating a peaceful and tranquil ambience. The interior has been recently refurbished to a high standard, the design of which provides a calm and relaxing feel. Good range of food, freshly prepared and presented in an appealing manner.

Good stay would definitely comeback.

I like the room, the door to the patio opens out to the wood retreat area, I just sat outside the door - so quiet and serene. The room was clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast was good. Unfortunately a staff was using the metal frame as a mirror to put her lipstick on above the food served at breakfast buffet, she touched her lips and the food afterwards. There were other sides without food displayed that she could use, but she should have gone to the bathroom to do so.

Stayed here for an Open Day at the university which was a great choice being only 5 minutes walk to the main campus Nice room which was very clean and comfortable. Recommended

Nothing special, nice ensuite, beds are two mattresses which is annoying. Internet was dreadful. Poor signage to get around the building.

Overnight visit to our daughter at university. An excellent hotel for a short stay with very good facilities. Nice additional touches were much appreciated.

Amazing place to stay.

Stayed at the Ratcliffe (just across the road). Free tea and coffee available- this was great as there was fresh milk. Lovely room - contemporary furnishings, very clean, large comfy bed.Left before breakfast but was offer a take away one.

Warwick Arts Centre Stay

Overnight stay for gig at Warwick Arts Centre. Only 10 minute walk away. Parking easy & room very clean, modern & comfy. Extra bonus was complimentary hot drinks etc in lounge area. Staff very friendly & efficient too. Would stay again.

Great hotel! Welcoming, friendly staff and excellent facilities, with a wide range of high quality complimentary hot drinks and snacks and a well stocked bar with lots of local drinks on offer. Our room was lovely and clean with a huge comfortable bed and modern bathroom

Everything was spot. Parking easy, room very comfortable, breakfast good and especially liked being able to stay in the lounge after check out where there were refreshments. Would 100% recommend

Very tasteful and stylish decor. Comfortable room - which was well equipped. Light, bright and airy communal areas. Availability of drinks/fruit/cakes in the lounge and bar area. Very helpful and welcoming staff. A thoroughly enjoyable stay - one which we wouldn’t hesitate to repeat.

Scarman is an exceptional hotel and conference centre. Everyone here is happy to help and the food is exceptional. The upgrade to the accommodation is great and very well thought through

Very comfortable stay, nice rooms, quiet. Bar food was poorly prepared- a pizza undercooked with a burnt base.

Good rooms. Well appointed. Sound proofing between rooms and to corridors is limited and can impact sleep.

Warwick Scarman

Warwick Scarman hotel is a great choice if you would like to stay on campus or near to Warwick. The hotel itself is basic but has almost everything needed, and the beds are very comfortable, the pillows not so much. The one thing I couldn’t locate was a hairdryer, normally I take my own, but on this occasion I didn’t. One thing to note is the hotel is quite spread out, so there may be a little walk involved to get to your room. On balance it was still a good hotel and we will definitely stay here again.

I arrived and my room had not been reserved even though it showed on Expedia as reserved. The receptionist found the booking on Expedia which too a few minutes. One side of the bed smelt really bad (very bad) It was very late when I went to bed so I just slept on the other side of the bed and told the receptionist on check out so hopefully it has been dealt with. Staff were friendly enough and room was ok apart from above. Breakfast was also ok.

It is always a pleasure to stay at Scarman. Also, the recent renovations are excellent. The rooms are a great and showers are excellent. The room has been designed with the guest in mind with PowerPoints, usb and usb c points next to the bed. The staff are great and really help.

No beside lights or ambient lighting. Room quite small. Some noise from student revellers.

Scarman

The room was lovely and clean with plentiful amenities. However, the heating wasn’t on and the room was freezing. When I phoned reception, they said it was ok a timer but it don’t come on later that night. There seeemed to be no desire to wnat to fix the issue. Unfortunately, the shower tray was also very shallow and wasn’t drain for well, so nearly overflowed. Whilst the location of the hotel was perfect,I wouldn’t stay again for those two very basic and fundamental needs which were missing.
