Clean, modern, surprisingly quiet hotel with friendly staff in a convenient central location. Included breakfast was great! I've stayed at four different Scandic properties in Helsinki, and all have been equally positive experiences.

I was shocked to realize that the room bed had 10 + hairs what never had happened me before. It was really disgusting to realize that most likely I slept in used bed sheets.

Convenient location

Hotel is conveniently located to shopping, restaurants museums and train station. The bed was very soft and uncomfortable and there was too much noise from upstairs and neighboring rooms as well as from the city.

Would stay here again

Very comfortable hotel in a great location.

Our room faced the plaza and the lights from the billboards made sleeping difficult. The noise from wherever the music was coming from (I was on 4th floor) was disruptive. My dirty glassware was never removed from my room (I was there 8 days-and I mentioned it twice to the front desk).

Great breakfast, sauna & overall a great stay.

Right in the heart of Helsinki, close to transportation, sites and dining options.

We have stayed at this property on multiple occasions and will continue to do so. The staff is attentive and friendly, the breakfast buffet has a wide variety of items to choose from, the location is great, and the rooms are neat and clean. You can walk to/from the main railway station, major shopping areas, and numerous dining options. The direct access via elevator to the Metro station and shopping mall - which includes a large grocery store - is a major plus.

You have your FOH crewing wrong !

Terrible service at reception for check in and the whole stay - 2 staff and one always doing something else. Totally acceptable waits. You have your FOH crewing massively wrong ! Room temp too high and ancient air system. Shockingly lumpy bumpy man-made material pillows made the most uncomfortable sleep- sweating and discomfort

Great location with sauna and full breakfast

Interesting view from the sixth floor and a very tasty breakfast buffet. Wardrobe space a bit limited and bathroom could have done with a shelf for make up bags etc.

Friendly and helpful staff

Please stay away from this Hotel ( and in general all scanidc). The room are extremely cold and not properly heated. We stayed in Helsinki fron Jan 1 to 3, our room was freezing. The reception staff said they have a centralized heating system but it was actually not working? We requested an additional heater, but they olny had small ones definitively not enough, we suffer cold for 2 nights. Finally aftet check out, we find out that the storage luggage was unattended and we had to store our luggage at our own riesk.. this is ridiculous, I don't understand how is thas even possible.

The hotel was located above a major mall and bus station . Extremely convenient. The rooms were rather small and a bit dated. The bathroom had an extremely odd shower and most of your items were soaked as the plastic did not shield properly.

Nice property in safe area. Convenient for walking to train station, transportation to ferry pier and restaurants. Hotel is pleasant.

OK - not WOW

Convenient place to stay - would I suggest are friendly approach and welcome at the front dest ? Yes I would. Its OK place - if you like impersonal approach - you will love it.

It was good stay. The room was looking like tired and had some spots not perfectly clean . At the reception there was long and confusing line and reception stuff could not organize it. In the room no cattle or coffee machine.

Location great, hotel clean Staff shortage noticeable especially in reception area, having to queue on arrival and departure. As having staid many times in the past, I was disappointed this time that it did not measure up to the previous standard.

We had an enjoyable stay at this hotel. The location was perfect, with the train station, the port and main attractions all in walking distance. There were lots of shops, restaurants and bars nearby. The rooms were spacious and clean. Good air con and a safety deposit box provided. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic as the food seemed fresh and there was so much choice. Overall, great stay and highly recommend.

Location was ideally located near the Helsinki train station (if u know how to navigate the underground route) and surrounded by malls with tons of food options! Everything was originally perfect for me n hubby but was ruined thereafter. We left our luggages with the hotel for safekeeping during checkout and they were stored in a locked room. When we went back to the hotel to collect the luggages, we queued at the reception and requested for the hotel staff (male) to unlock the luggage room door for collection (it’s self service, door to open and I will have to go into the room to take my own luggage). The hotel staff responded with “yes I will open the door for you” and then walked away to a hidden room behind the hotel reception counter. We waited in front of the luggage room door for a few minutes and eventually realised that our request got ignored! We got to queue again for another staff to assist us with the unlocking of the luggage room and it’s then, I found out that all the staff need to do is to PRESS ON ONE BUTTON THAT IS LOCATED RIGHT AT THE COUNTER. The first hotel staff could have just pressed on it but he chose not to and walk away. Where did customer service go? Most of the staffs are considered nice. Extra credits to ladies serving breakfast at the restaurants. Always so prompt and helpful. The breakfast variety doesn’t change everyday but it’s still yummy! Recommended since food is nice and location is good but just pray that you don’t meet moody staffs.

This is a great hotel! So glad we stayed here. Free breakfast was a full buffet with lots of options. Bathroom had a tub, and you can connect your phone to the TV to watch shows from your streaming services. Wi-Fi was good quality. There is a small shop with snacks, fruit, toiletries, and small gifts. The check in can be a little long right at 3pm. We arrived at noon and there was a room ready. Free luggage storage was helpful. Taxis were waiting right outside the hotel. You can also walk to many destinations.

A very nice conveniently located and reasonably prices hotel. The breakfast was great, and the on-site restaurant much better than most hotel restaurants I have seen.

Price and quality didn’t match

Not so great experience. Room price compared to the quality and service did not follow. AC didn’t work. Some buttons in the elevators worked when those wanted. Cleaner came in the room without knocking. Wi-Fi was slow. TV user interface freezed couple of times and all of the channels were not ok to watch because constant cutting of the broadcast. We were not even asked how was our stay?!? Breakfast was okay, basic Scandic style. Place of the hotel was only good thing.

Disappointing sleep

Not a comfortable night's sleep. We were three adults sharing a standard triple room. With the sofa bed out there was very little floorspace. However, the poor sleep was due to the room being too hot. The hotel advertises air conditioning, but it is really a sort of feeble climate control. The black knob on the wall will not cool the room much because it can't. This was explained twice on enquiring at separate times by the reception staff, with a shrug of the shoulders, and the comment that it was hot outside and there was nothing more to be done. Well, you could try opening the small side window, if you could cope with street noise at 2am of cars and motorcycles backfiring, trams squealing by and drunks on their way home. The windows were filthy on the outside, so opening one inwards wasn't pleasant either. Rooms are not cheap so one expects to sleep well as a minimum. Breakfast was good and the downstairs lounge areas very spacious and comfortable. If you have kids beware the nuts and sweets placed on the shelf above the mini bar (they are not a free welcome gift)

Very good hotel in a great location. There is access direct into a shopping centre with a few places to eat and drink. The only criticism I have is the lack of kettle, tea and coffee in the room.

The front desk people were very friendly and helpful with how to navigate the city and helping with some small document printing. The rooms were very nice and the breakfast was amazing!

Good for tourists probably, not for business

Very busy hotel in the centre, room was a good standard with comfy bed and good shower. No bottles of water in the room though and breakfast was chaos with no covid restrictive measures in place at all, and was only allowed to book for 8.30 or 10am. Both useless time slots for a business trip. Felt more like a busy tourist hotel, would not stay here again for business.

No kettle in the room!

All in all, this is a nice hotel. It is new, the location is good and they have plenty of variety of breakfast choices. And sauna is complimentary every evening and sometimes in the mornings! Rooms are ok, but I really think a hotel with these standards and prices should have a kettle in the room - there should be a chance to have a cup of coffee or tea when wanted. This was really unpleasant surprise.

Reception people very helpful, friendly. Restaurant's waiters very polite and friendly. Food is good , but the same every day, have not salmon ((

Great location, modern rooms

The location is great - right at the heart of the city. The staff were very accommodation and nice - I mentioned we are coming with our toddler and they proactively organised a free cot for him. The room was spacious (we had a standard double) and modern, and clean. The only thing that would need improvement is the breakfast room. It was very dated and not as modern and comfy as many other Nordic hotels. The breakfast was good but not as good as we had in two other hotels in Helsinki previously. All in all we were very happy with this hotel and the service.

Il posto era deprimente non avevano manco un bollitore per farsi un caffe ho the...non cerano le pantofole gratis se le volevi dovevi pagare. gli asciugamani piccoli...la pulizia delle lenzuoli non era buona...il bar panoramico era chiuso. capisco che siamo in emergenza coronavirus, ma trascurare cosi il cliente non va bene...buona connessione della televisione, ho potuto vedere un film portato con me con la mia USB...

Staff very helpful, room clean and comfortable beds. A couple of days before we left there was a bad smell from the shower area and the easily dislodged metal plate in the floor under the shower is dangerous.

I liked this hotel. The location is perfect; walking distance to everything and only a few minutes from the main station. The rooms are tidy, clean and comfortable.The service is very helpful, staff were happy to help you find your way. A minor drawback for my wife was the lack of a shower cap for her hair and toiletries, but she was travelling very light. Otherwise great and I recommend it.

I planned to stay here to see around Helsinki for 1 night and 1 day. But the taxi cost from the airport to the hotel are too expensive compared to the hotel price. I arrived Helsinki airport at 04:50 Pm. It rained and everywhere was dark like at late night and very few people at the airport. I took a mercedes-benz taxi from the airport (no choice) to this hotel and nothing around there and no people walk outside. The reception said everywhere and shops / department stores closed at Christmas time. Then I just slept and woke up , waited until sunrise around 11:00 am. And prepared to go back to the airport again. Asked the reception to call a taxi for me and again I got a mercedes benz that cost more expensive more the hotel price. Haha I think I would stay at the hotel at the airport instead. I saw a Scandic hotel at the airport later, But the breakfast at the hotel was nice. And the receptions were friendly. Many coffee and nice hot chocolate and milk to make in room.

Good hotel at great location

At the heart of city centre and connected to Kamppi shopping center so it’s convenient to go for shopping , eating out or simply grab stuffs from super market specially during extreme cold. Central station is around 7min walk. Trams are also available next to hotel so also an option to take to commute. Hotel has sauna (small in size). Room is large and comfortable. Very cleanly maintained. Breakfast requires huge improvement. Same stuffs daily. I think they should bring more varieties in the breakfast.

Perfect location, friendly staff

The hotel is perfectly located in the city centre of Helsinki and close to everything you need. Staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are very Scandic style, so you know what you get. Some minus points from the slow cleaning of breakfast tables and somewhat sloppy room cleaning.

It’s a hotel I feel comfortable with because I’ve stayed here many times.

部屋は綺麗で落ち着いた雰囲気。中央駅からのアクセスも良く、観光にも便利。 朝食もバラエティーに富んでいて満足。 荷物預かりはコインロッカーで有料だったが、大きなロッカーで荷物が多くても全く問題ない。 また利用したいと思った。
