Good

The Scandic Klara is in a great location just a few minutes from the central station in Stockholm, but down a relatively quiet street. The single room was fine, apart from very occasional bits of noise from the rooms around, none of which was disturbing, the room was quiet and I had no problems sleeping. There is even a choice of thin or thick curtains, suitable for all times of the year. The pillows looked small and the duvet thin at first look but they were perfectly comfortable. Room size was quite small but still plenty of space for one person. Bathroom, wifi and the other amenities were all fine. The breakfast which was self-service in the central courtyard was great with plenty of choice and there were no problems getting a table during my stay in April. Staff were all helpful. Had a very pleasant stay here and would definitely come back when I return to Stockholm.

Amazing Hotel in the Heart of Stockholm This was my third stay at this wonderful hotel, and it was just as delightful as the previous visits. This time, I traveled with my sister, while my earlier visits were solo trips. The hotel is modern, impeccably clean, and perfectly located in the center of Stockholm. It’s ideal for exploring the city by foot, subway, or even by boat if you’re planning to discover the stunning Stockholm archipelago in a short time. We were very happy with our peaceful room on the 3rd floor, which made for a truly relaxing stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of delicious options to choose from. The complimentary gym and sauna are great bonuses. The staff are friendly, professional, and incredibly helpful, adding to the overall fantastic experience. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Stockholm. I’m absolutely in love with this city and can’t wait to return!

Though the room is a bit small, the overall facilities are great. Walking distance to the central station.

The experience was great! Not only is the hotel conveniently located, but the staff were also friendly and helpful. I will surely recommend the hotel to my friends and definitely stay there again the next time I'm in Stockholm.

Great location, clean room. Size of room was compact but it was perfect for one person traveling for work. Breakfast had excellent variety of plant based and gluten free options. You can make your special coffees on demand. Did not have a chance to try the sauna and pool. Would stay again for sightseeing.

I like the hotel chain and this hotel was in a great spot in relation to the train station and buses as well as the main square and attractions. Comfortable beds and big rooms, friendly staff, and an excellent breakfast buffet.

The hotel was conveniently located just a few hundred metres from the central station. It was also very close to the metro. Everything was nearby, whether it was shopping, groceries, and major attractions. Check in and out were very quick. I did message the hotel to let them know that I’d be arriving after midnight, and it was good to see that the hotel had safety measures in place with a secure main entrance after hours. The room was a bit small but clean and comfortable. Shampoo and body wash were available, but body lotion wasn’t. That wasn’t such a big deal since I always bring my own, but this information might be helpful for others to know. The breakfast was very well stocked and had a variety of foods for different dietary needs. The staff were also very attentive and quick with restocking food. The gym had weights and cardio machines. It was clean and made optimal use of the space. Water and towels were available to gym users. Overall the hotel was a very good value, and I’d recommend it to others.

Nice room, tad small for the price

Nice pretty standard room. Bit small for the price however. Iron could also be improved to one with steaming. They were very nice with luggage storage. Location is excellent.

Great hotel for tourists!

We stayed for 4 nights and found the location convenient for restaurants and tourist sites. Staff was great and spoke English. Very nice breakfast!

Amazing hotel, the bed was sooooooo comfy! The breakfast buffet was extraordinary but quite busy! I loved the shower, the soap smelled out of this world! Fantastic location right by the central transit hub. Thank you for providing a multi stream recycling bin! This is very rare in hotels in my experience. And thank you for the washable glasses and mugs and cutlery, this make it look and feel much more qualitative than single use and helps the planet a lot!

Brilliant value for money

This hotel is well located being walkable to the main shopping area and the old town. They have a wide selection at breakfast. The only downside is that some of the family rooms are small and configured in a way that gives you very little room to move if you also have a bunch of luggage in the room with you.

I really loved this hotel. The room I had was small (as expected) but set up really well so I didn’t feel cramped. It was also really clean, which is my number one thing for hotels. It’s in an amazing location, and walkable to nearly every major thing one might want to see in Stockholm and more. …plus the main train station is right there. The breakfast is really good with tons of options. Would definitely stay here again if back in Stockholm.

Centrally located and reasonable price to stay

The primary thing I look for in a hotel is a quiet place to sleep, and since typically I have to scan through countless expedia reviews to get a sense of how much traffic or other noise seeps into the hotel room, I want to say upfront that this hotel takes quiet seriously. It's in the heart of Stockholm, but my room, and I believe most of the rooms, look out over an interior courtyard. So, no traffic or other noise from the streets. The rooms also seemed to be well insulated from each other, at least, I rarely heard any sounds from adjoining rooms. Aside from that, the location is convenient (walkable from the train station, and just walkable in general), the rooms are clean and well equipped, and the breakfast is phenomenal. I got a twin single and it was very small, but I'm used to staying in NYC hotels and it was a similar size. The twin bed is wider than what we would call a twin in the US, and very comfortable.

Well designed room. All modern conveniences including aircon. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Great central location. The only issue i had was that guest having breakfast in the courtyard were making scratching noises when moving chairs...it was loud and went on between 7am-11am Maybe putting some felt on tips would help? Not everyone wants to wake up at 7am while on a well deserved break

The location is awesome. It is the middle of lots of shopping and restaurants. The tourist must-see section of Oldtown is a 10 minute walk. The free breakfast the hotel was the best I've ever encountered at a hotel. It was expensive buffet quality. We rented a car so we used the hotel discount for the parking garage across the street. The process for using the garage is complicated and not at all intuitive. The staff had trouble communicating the intricacies of how to use it properly so it was a learning process. Once you get the paid ticket from the front desk, which takes a few steps, you can use the garage with in-out privileges as long as you use the card in the machine upon entry each time. Be sure to scan-in or you can't scan-out.

Perfect location - walkable to all sites and the central station. Breakfast has a great spread. AC in the rooms was helpful for summer days. Sauna was a nice bonus!

The location is amazing. Very central and close to shops, restaurants, metro. The staff was wonderful. I was able to check in early which was nice. The gym is very good. Pulley system and dumbbells up to 20kg. The sauna is accessible on floor -1. You just need to ask front desk if it’s turned on. The breakfast was magnificent and ran til 11am. They had all types of food (meat, cheese, veggies, yogurt, fruit, breads). The rooms very compact but did the job. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Thank you so much!!!

I stayed here my first night in Europe after a very long journey. It did the job and I got great rest - the breakfast in the morning was amazing!!

I was in a room that the AC was not working. They told me the room should be room temp but only warm air was coming out and it was stuffy and hot instead. They had someone check it and said it was fine, but nothing changed and when I brought it up again they said it was the location of the room. I could still feel the warm air from the ac and tried to open window, but nothing worked and I told them and they did not budge. Instead I had to stay out all day and hope the night was cool enough to sleep. The night was horrible to the point I had to sleep on the floor because it was so hot. The night front desk gave me a fan which helped for my stay but as I talked to other people staying at the hotel, I was the only one with this problem. Everyone else said they had cold rooms, which made my stay worse since I felt no one was listening to me

The room is small, but fine for a one night stay. Breakfast was very good, and I could check in early. I would stay again, in case I am around. Location is also very good.

Highly Recommend!

Centrally located hotel with an excellent breakfast buffet (lots of lactose-free and even vegan/gluten free options). We had to catch an early flight and they offered a few breakfast items for us and helped book a taxi, which was reliable and on-time. The sauna was also a nice perk, although there is no cold plunge pool, just showers or foot soaks instead. Rooms were clean with lots of outlets everywhere. Overall would highly recommend!

Within walking distance of Central Station and close to open air market shopping and dining facilities. Very clean and quiet room and an excellent breakfast buffet. A mini buffet is also available for early departures (before 7 o'clock). Most enjoyable hotel I would gladly go back

Conveniently located

Conveniently located, but being it was near everything, you could hear the street. Bathroom was kind of small so if you were sitting on the toilet and leaned forward (like to loosen your shoe lace, you’d hit your head on the wall.

It was close to everything.

Excellent bed, and clean quiet room. Breakfast was great, including gluten and dairy free options. Staff was efficient and helpful. Air conditioning worked alright. Room was small, but well laid out. The bathroom, was inconvenient for my old knees, probably because of retrofit of an older building. I would ask for a handicap room if staying again, since the toilet area was cramped. I did have counter space and shower was fine. WiFi worked fine. Neighborhood is just off main shopping streets and convenient to public transport. It was very difficult walking from Central station to the hotel with large luggage, even though it is pretty close. I had to get a taxi when I left. If you just have a backpack or small carryon you would be ok. Overall a very nice well kept hotel.

Had never been to Stockholm before and only in Sweden once so was looking for somewhere pretty central to stay. There are a few Scandic hotels near Central Station so opted for Klara Hotel is about a 5 minute walk after getting off Arlanda Express. Loads of shops, restaurants, bars etc in the area. Hotel is spotless, with option of getting your room cleaned every day or every other day. Room itself was pretty big, with decent sized bathroom & shower. Kettle, tv, fridge, safe all in room. Had breakfast each day in the atrium. Breakfast was really good, with a huge variety of foods, though was pretty busy between 8-30 & 9-30, but started at 6-30 so if you can get up a bit earlier you can avoid the crowds Highly recommend this hotel, especially if you are a first time visitor to Stockholm

This property was well located to visit central Stockholm. Everything went smoothly and as expected. The only concern was that our family room was a little too small to feel relaxed in. We really enjoyed the breakfast.

It's centrally located. Love the breakfast area and choices of the breakfast. I'd stay here again on my next Stockholm visit.

Not the room we booked....again...

We love this hotel. Disappointed to get twin beds pushed together as all the Queen beds we had booked months ago were "sold out". Be nice to get the room you booked. Nonetheless all the staff, from reception, to cleaners, to the buffet staff are excellent. Highly recommend

Do not allow the hotel to advise on questions to make your stay better. They contract with a company to launder clothing at 400% profit!

Friendly staff good location convenient for shopping and dining

I stayed 4 nights for the stockholm marathon. There were plenty of similar priced accommodation options with similar features available in the area and I regret selecting this one. The photo on the website showed a window covered by full curtains, this was essential for me to avoid being kept awake by the extended daylight. To my dismay the room I was allocated on the top floor had a roof that sloped down towards a window covered only with a flimsy pull down shade that allowed light to filter through. Also, I had to hunch over to avoid cracking my head on the sloping roof. Such a completely different layout based on the photos and reasonable expectations from my experiences in hotels of comparable standard. I have no other issues with the accommodation or staff but I would not stay here again based on the perception that I was thrown into the spare room in the attic for an inflated price.

I stayed here for 1 week. The first half was on business, so I stayed in a standard twin room. It was a little small but perfect for my need. I moved into a family room for 3 people during the second half when my family came to join me. More spacious but still short of floor space. The rooms are clean, breakfast was brilliant - wide range of options. Location was central and close to public transport for Stockholmmassen congress centre or to any of the tourist attractions. Don't forget to visit the indoor market across the street from the hotel, it's a gem!

Perfect location on a quiet street. Well-maintained property. The room was impeccably clean (i'm fussy!). Breakfast is served in a big, bright room and is really good; they have quite a selection. Polite and professional staff. I would definitely stay there again.

Close to Shopping Street

Good breakfast, good shower with plenty of hot water, good location 15 minute walk to old town, floor and bowls could be cleaner. Quiet.
