Great hotel, staff, facilities. Very comfy beds. Spacious and fun playroom, great for families. Very nice breakfast.

The beds were super comfy, view of sea was great, and food was amazing!!!

good stay

One bus away from Gamla stan and the general downtown area and near a grocery store. Walkable from the Sija Line Cruise terminal was convenient. Everything was as described and comfortable. Breakfast was good and well kept.

Excellent facilities which were everything you could ask for and the breakfast options were extensive, varied and excellent all round.

Cheap low class hotel. Not coming back

It’s a shame how a hotel with good rooms, manages to rip itself from all good customer service. Every thing is a do it your self service. No phone in the room to call reception. The lobby is equipped with vending machine like a student dorm. Dental kits for extra charge. Must be a joke. I am sure that the extra 1 euro is an absolute necessity to keep business running.

Det var väldigt bra att fira nyår på Scandic Södra i Stockholm. Frukostar vara jättegott och alla mat var friska.Rekreationsområdet var festligt utsmyckat. Barnen var inte uttråkade eftersom de kunde springa och leka. Det är synd att vi inte hann besöka bastun, för allt var uppbokat. Men våra familj var nöjda med resten i hotellet.

Scandia stay

Beautiful hotel. View of sunrise was gorgeous. My mistake, I booked us here thinking that it was the closest to our ferry but I had the wrong line so it was a taxi ride to get to the Viking Terminal. Absolutely nothing against the hotel, it was fantastic, the mistake was mine.

Very nice hotel with good amenities and facilities. Staff were very helpful and loved the views from my room.

Room was clean and comfortable, efficiently played out. Breakfast had lots of selections and high quality. Spacious, multilevel atrium with games for kids and fun places to gather. Outstanding!!!

It’s my last night in Stockholm, and I only stayed for one night as I had an early flight to catch. You can tell it's a very new property with a great design. The room was spacious and clean, with a lovely water view, and it was nice and quiet. The location is decent, though it’s about a 10-minute walk to/from the metro. It’s only three stops to the central station by metro, which I found quite convenient. They also offer family rooms, which are perfect for my friend's family with 2 younger kids. The only minor inconvenience was that there was no coffee maker or tea kettle in the room, nor any facial tissues. It’s fine for a one-night stay, but if you’re staying longer, that could be a little inconvenient. The breakfast was fantastic, there was a wide variety of freshly baked bread, hot dishes, drinks, and even a dessert station. Overall, I had a very pleasant stay.

Hotel on its own is beautiful, but on location that substantial building work/ road work are happened around it. Hotel is nicely designed and decorated. It’s family friendly with play area and relaxing area. Kitchen staff are particularly welcoming and friendly. However we are disappointed as there’s no kettle in our room, we could not make a cup of tea or coffee when we need it. Neither face tissue, we ended up with an extra toilet roll when asked the front desk. Room was not clean for once for the 3 night we were there, even after I requested at the reception. There’s no telephone available in the hotel room, you had to make your way to the reception if you need some dry, fresh towels, etc. I found it very inconvenient.

My boys favourite hotel! Awesome breakfast - not just range and quality but keeping full with so many people. Also great games area. Was surprised that the spa facilities were chargeable though - SEK 250 per person. A bit away from the centre but good bus route every 15 mins

Close to ferry terminal, but not the city

The hotel itself is good: great breakfast, large room, comfortable bed and clean. However, the main reason you would stay here is the proximity to the ferry terminal and were catching an early ferry. It is a fairly industrial area and beyond the restaurant lobby, the only other food option in the area that is walkable is a grocery store across the parking lot.

Overall pretty good but wished that the pool was included rather than you’ll have to pay extra for it

So many children. Breakfast buffet was an absolute ZOO. Spa was amazing. No phones in the room or at the front desk to make local calls. Staff were very helpful and friendly.

Disappointed by the policy’s

This hotel was a bit farther away from the Train Station but we booked it for the sauna and the spa. However, when we arrived we were told that the sauna and spa were extra and that your time was limited. We were very disappointed that this wasn’t made more clear during the booking process. We would not have booked this hotel had we known.

Really lovely hotel, very clean. Some of the photos when booking didn't match up and it was disappointing that you had to pay extra to us the wellness area. Plus, we had plans to swim as we saw a photo of a pool when booking, but only when we arrived did it turn out that you could only swim if you where over 10yrs old.

Scandic Hotel in Stockholm

Upon arrival and check in at 9:00 pm I was told the restaurant was closed, but I could purchase a pizza snack at the 17th floor bar. When arriving the bar, I was told they had no pizza (had no received their supplies for a couple of days)? I asked the front desk clerk about walking to a neighborhood restaurant, but he played with the computer screen too long with no results, so I walked away. I exited the hotel to look for a restaurant, but instead found a grocery store (and purchased a beer and a sandwich). I couldn't use my cellphone map app because I had no WiFi. Attempted numerous times to get WiFi by asking the desk clerks for assistance, but to no avail (the only stop on my Scandinavia trip of 10 days that WiFi was not available)? As I checked out, I told one of the same clerks that tried to help me the day before that Free WiFi was stated in the amenities for the hotel, but I never received? Also, when entered my room, there were no hand or bath towels in the bathroom? So I had to go back to the front desk to request? A guest had to give me instructions on how to scan my room key to get the door to the hallway to my room to open (no signs displayed or hotel employees around, except to go back to the front desk? The guest was with his child when he realized my frustration with the scan and wanted to help me!

Nice Hotel. Great for going to Lidingo - but not that much other stuff around that area. Nice staff, nice rooms. Decently close to mass transit to get you to other areas.

The basics of a hotel for that pric e..like coffee tea station in the room ..overpriced...looks can be deceiving..nice ..the 5 to 6 floor lift nearly blew your eardrums ...needs a grease and oil lol

Old hotel, spotty maid service, good breakfast, over priced.

Mediocre property, a bit of distance from city centre, taking taxi is extortionate. Outside hotel is a disused port with building/construction going on. Saying that staff where great breakfast was good.

Nice & comfortable stay

Overall good experience. Enjoyed the hotel services a lot. Good gym & sauna bath.. few playing activities for the kids like TT, Mini golf, Suffle ball, playing area etc.

Enda som var bra var läget, nära till hamnen. Dålig service i receptionen på kvällen. Nästan inga veg. alternativ på menyn. Tråkig frukost, stänger tidigt. Kraftiga vibrationer i rummet från fläktrummet (?) Så inredningen lät.

Big renovation around making it difficult to reach from Silja harbour and bad signs to guide... I did not know it beforehand would have booked downtown hotel as booked mainly because thought easy walk with my small son. Breakfast very good. No fridge in the room very bad:) clean&big room

Inte speciellt rent rum och väldigt basic frukost. Ok hotell

Iso miinus oli, että huoneissa ei ollut jääkaappia.

Leider war da Zimmer viel zu warm. Man hatte keine Möglichkeit das Fenster zu öffnen, um frische Luft herein zu lassen. Am letzten Morgen haben wir eine Frühstücksbox bestellt, da wir zeitig abreisen mussten. Es gab Wurst, Käse, Joghurt..., aber kein Brot dazu. Außerdem wollten wir noch einen Kaffee mitnehmen und mussten diesen bezahlen. Wie soll man das verstehen. Beim Frühstück hätten wir auch Getränke erhalten. Die junge Dame an der Rezeption war ziemlich unhöflich, gähnte vor uns und schien uninteressiert. Schade das wir einen so unerfreulichen Abschied hatten.

Hotelli sijaitsi hienolla paikalla aivan Silja-Tallink terminaalin vieressä. Tukholman keskustaan on vajaa 5km matkaa. Hotelli oli siisti ja henkilökunta ystävällistä. Huone oli hieno ja siisti jossa parisänky ja kerrossänky. Ainoa miinus ettei ollut minibaaria jossa voisi viilentää juomia eikä vedenkeitintä joihin monessa hotellissa olemme tottuneet.

We had a great family stay at the Scandic! Even though it seemed far from downtown Stockholm, we managed to go to and fro with public transportation and make the most out of the city. Staff in reception is very friendly and helpful, and breakfast super varied and abundant.

Rent rum, schampo ingår. Bra temperatur i rummet som man justerar själv. Intressant utsikt över hamninloppet där de stora färjorna kommer å går (6 våningen). Gratis te i receptionen. Kul lounge utrymme för barnen med gott om möjlighet för lek. Suverän frukost! Kan äta frukost på 2 ställen: I loungen eller nere i restaurangen. Vi valde restaurangen för där var got ät om plats, lugnare miljö och trevligare aukustik än att sitta och äta i loungen. Det går buss utanför Ica (2 kvarter bort) till djurgårsbron där man kan åka vidare med buss å spårvagn. Vill man ta tunnelbana kan man gå till Gärdet (800 m) eller ta buss till Brosten. Vi har inget att klaga på, allt var jättebra.

Toppen!

Vi har haft en super bra vistelse med våra barn på hotellet. Det fanns en våning där barnen kunde leka. På samma våning kunde man äta frukost och barnen kunde leka samtidigt, så smidigt!! Tunnelbanan låg en lite gåväg bort, men vi tyckte det bara var skönt att ta en kort kort promenad. Åker vi till Stockholm så kommer vi absolut bo här med barnen igen!

Bra läge för mig som är på affärsresa, dels nära till projektkontoret dels bra med P-platser nära hotellet.

Hotellet var väldigt bra, trevlig personal, bra sängar, lite torr luft på rummet.

Okej hotell, men avlägsen

Ok ställe. Kallt på rummet och det var mycket ombyggnationer runt om hotellet så det var krångligt att hitta rätt. Det fanns små laminerade lappar att följa men de var ojämnt placerade och svåra att hitta och följa. Plötsligt fanns där en orange skylt när alla tidigare riktlinjer varit små lappar, väldigt svårt att uppmärksamma. Kollektivtrafiken existerade inte, vill man ta sig fram in till city så är det taxi som gäller.

Oda ısısı çok düşüktü(ısıtıcı yoktu) ve oda içinde buz dolabı yoktu.

Det är bra rum och rent och snabb incheckning. Det bara att det svårt med transport om man har inte bil med sig. Det ligger långt ut. Och det fanas inte vattenkokare i rummet om man vill dricka lite te eller kaffe i rummet, och jag såg inga rum service

Prisvärt hotell, läget lite avsides men ca 10 minuters promenad till tunnelbana så ändå helt ok. Åt schnitzel i restaurangen, maten helt ok men snålt att dom tog betalt när vi bad om lite majonäs till pommes fritesen.

Trevlig upplevelse med fin utsikt från rummet. Maten var dock lite tunnsådd i smak och upplevelse. (Snitzeln och Tortelinin), så restaurangen kan nog behöva sträcka upp sig lite.

Dåligt utbud på dryck i skybar, Mycket dåligt kaffe på hotellet. Tydligen att det sparar in på kaffet i alla maskinerna. När vi hällde upp i glas, så var det mer genomskinligt än te.

Bra hotell med bättre läge än du tror

Boende för konsert. Ser ut att ligga en bit ut men det är ganska centralt ändå. Stort och luftigt. Okej frukost. Fint rum med fyra bäddar. Lite svårt att ta sig till och från med kollektivtrafik.

8/10 men frukostbuffé 10/10!

Allting var toppen och frukostbuffén var av väldigt hög standard, den va jättefin och omfattande, 10/10! Det som drar ner betyget till 8/10 är att sängkläderna, i synnerhet lakanet. Det var så strävt och tydligt urtvättat och nött av det starka tvättmedel jag förmodar använda vid tvätt. Både jag och min partner fick små skrap-/brännsår på både knä och sidan av magen. Vi märkte det sista morgonen och var stressade vid utcheckning, så vi glömde att framföra det då.

Schönes Hotel mit tollem Blick auf den Fährhafen und schönen Sonnenaufgängen. Die Zimmer sind geschmackvoll und praktisch eingerichtet. Sehr freundliches Personal. Der Bus in die Innenstadt fuhr auch in der Nähe ab. Wir werden wiederkommen.

L'hotel è molto bello, la hall è piema di giochi per i bambini. Ottima la colazione.

Mycket bra hotell. Hade möjligtvis önskat mig lite mer serviceinriktat bemötande från receptionspersonalen, men inget som hindrar mig från att återkomma.

Inte så familjvänligt för små barn

Allt är fint och fräsch. Bokade hotellet för de stod de fanns pool. Men sen på scandic hemsida stod det från 10 år med föräldrar. Mycket dåligt tycker vi som familj som ville bada med våra små barn. Finns ingen lekhörna för barnen som scandic hade innan.

Habitaciones cómodas, el staff muy amable, la amenidades muy cómodas, la ubicación no es la idónea por el tipo de hotel qué es, hay mucha construcción a los alrederos y terrenos vacíos, caminar del metro al hotel no es muy seguro, el camino tiene desvíos, la vista del cuarto daba directamente a la construcción

Det var en fantastisk opphold

Fint hotell med snygg design. Bra ytor för familjen att hänga med pingisbord, fotbollsspel och shuffle board. Standard frukost men Nutella fattades tyckte barnen.

It is a fantastic place if you travel with kids. Its a little bit away of the city but you can take the bus our the metro very easy. We had a great time and the staff was very kind.

Jag bodde här på 90-talet och mycket är sig likt! Så trevligt att känna sig hemma efter nästan 30 år! Ytskiktesrenoveringen ger dock en fräschare känsla! Tack och lov :) Det är lite små fönster och trånga rum. Men JÄTTETREVLIG service och TOPPENPERSONAL! Receptionen var 10/10! Och bartendern den trevligaste på länge!

Inte full koll

Hade bokat ett familjerum men fanns inte tillräckligt med handdukar. Personalen i receptionen hade väldigt stark parfym på sig och hade ingen koll på frukosttider.
